inFamous 2

inFamous 2 Trophies
Fight the Good Fight
Unlock the good ending.

Story related. You will earn this on your Good Karma playthrough.

After absorbing the 7th and final blast core the next mission is "The Final Decision" which is the last in the game. Cole will start up the RFI only to find out it's true purpose before being stopped by Zeke. This is the final choice which decides which ending you play through. You're two female companions switch sides at the end, so siding with Nix and agreeing to power up and use the RFI is the Good Karma Choice and siding with Kup and agreeing to help the beast is the Evil Karma Choice.

This trophy will pop if you side with Nix for the Good Karma choice, it will pop after the credits once you are placed into free roam mode.

There have been reports that this trophy does not unlock properly if you skip the ending credits. If that happens, simply beat the game again (you'll be taken back prior to making your last decision end game) and sit through the credits this time and it should unlock.

What a crappy ending. They kill the series by killing off Cole.

1. What a fucking awesome non-spoiler comment to post on a trophy without warning.
2. Good. A developer might've learned how to not over-saturate a good franchise.

if you guys paid real close attwntion, did you notice the lightning striking where cole is at the end? He recharges from electricity, right? Wouodn't a billion or two volts be enough to bring him back?

I ran into the same game breaking glitch 3 times in a row while fighting the last boss. Sometimes when the boss grabs you and you have to mash R1 you'll die and it cues the death music but then you get stuck in the environment in first person, underneath the boss, and you can't do anything to get out. You end up healing from the damage that "killed" you but can't do damage to the boss or anything. You'll know it happened if the R1 propt is still visible above the boss's health. It forces you to restart the mission, and you can't skip the cutscenes leading into the mission.

The only way I could prevent it was once you get shot up into the air turn away from the boss and keep pressing the stick away.

I second #1 being a fucking dickbag for ruining the ending even though I've just beaten the game with good ending.

Anyone know if loading my seperate full evil save from #1 will count towards me earning 15k points when I beat the second playthrough while still being evil?

I'd prefer to carry over my exp points from the good save but i doubt that is possible. Anyhow, lemme know if anyone can help me out please.

#1 the douchiness is high with you!
Anyway, crap ending even though Cole clearly lives imo with that bolt at the very end!

at #7 yep this just happened to me - gutted as its the last thing i need for the plat (hard + good ending) so this annoys me as i have to listen to the bullshit cutscenes again and do the first half of the boss fight again. will def be pulling away from the boss.
