Grand Theft Auto V

Grand Theft Auto V Trophies
San Andreas Sightseer
Explore all of Los Santos and Blaine County

The description for this trophy is slightly misleading as revealing the ocean is also required, however, focus first on revealing all of the land area. You will notice that at the start of the game, despite the whole map being available to explore, the vast majority of it is clouded over with its features indistinguishable. The best way to reveal the map this is to get a helicopter or a plane (the fighter jet which you can steal from Fort Zancudo is preferable since it's the fastest) and fly along the coast to define the land boundaries, then start in one corner and work your way north (or south, depending on your starting point) before turning round and going back the other way in a parallel line. Do not worry as much about the ocean as you will reveal the majority of it whilst searching for Nuclear Waste for Waste Management .

If after all this you are still without the trophy, set your waypoint on areas of the ocean still undefined and either fly or use a boat to uncover these areas. Note: The map "ends" where the water turns deep blue so if you carry on past this point, you are not uncovering any more of the map.

Luckily you do not have to reveal every last pixel as the trophy unlocks once around 95% of the map is revealed.

Should be a fun but long trophy to get.

Nah, you'll probably get it just by getting the game to 100%, or even completing the main missions.

I made a trophy guide for anyone who wants to open up the entire map from the time they start the game, you can do this about right after Franlin's intro mission..Hope it helps >> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBNwU0E10Co

You don't need 100% of the map (I'd say 95% or less). Still have some chunks of land unexplored and it popped.

I uncovered the entire map using my blimp and this trophy still didn't pop. Yes, I revealed all the restricted areas as well including going all around the coast to uncover the islands off shore.

Steal a Jet from the Military Base and use it to uncover the whole map, doesnt take that long. Make sure to also fly along the rim of the map and uncover that. Thats what prevented me to get the trophy. I got it now, its not that hard to get.

I also used the blimp to open the map, but have not gotten the trophy for it.

Hey just got a speed boat and went up the coat, for me the right side of the map, with the most islands, and after a bit the trophy popped. Blimp wasn't the issue, the coast was.

I used the blimp to open up all of the land and all of the islands off the coast, but no trophy. I found a speed boat and went around the water outlines (you can see shadows on the mini map) in a boat and it eventually popped.

I Got The Trophy Just By Playing Online Without Playing Any Of The Story Missions? (*_*;

Doing this trophy and flew over somewhere and it automatically started a mission -_- I could either lose some of my progress in loading quick save or lose my chopper and die and quit the mission

Thanks R* for doing that

Just unlocked for me and yet I still have the international airport and one small spot on the map to uncover which I don't need to do now since its unlocked nice.
