Introduction

The plot for this game occurs two years after the events in the Ghostbusters II movie. The four Ghostbusters that you meet are Ray (Dan Aykroyd), Egon (Harold Ramis), Peter (Bill Murray) and Winston (Ernie Hudson) which are voiced by the same actors in both Ghostbusters movies. The Ghostbusters are recruiting a new member that they call 'Rookie' which you will be playing. In this third-person shooter you will be running around with your Proton Pack which is used to capture and destroy ghosts that roam New York. You will be aided by the veteran Ghostbusters to save the city.

The trophies most people have problem with are "Gozer's Most Wanted" and the "Overachiever", both are online trophies. The hardest career trophies are the "Are You A God?" and "Nice Shootin', Tex!" trophies. There have been several glitches with the trophies in this game, mainly the online trophies but if you update to the latest patch then there shouldn't be any problem.

Even though it's possible to do get the in one playthrough it's recommended to do two playthroughs, it's much easier and less frustrating that way. Both methods are described in this Road Map. If you are doing the two playthroughs method, then you can do either of them in any order. A playthrough takes about 3-5 hours. Doing the collectibles and the other trophies either in the playthrough or as chapter selection will take an additional 4-5 hours. You will get all story related trophies from either playthrough.

Read THIS post for more tips and info on glitches during multiplayer.

Walkthrough

One Playthrough

You can complete the game in one playthrough but that means that you have to complete Professional difficulty with less than $100,000 property damage. Playing on Professional could be very hard at some sections and adding that you can't hit the surroundings into the formula would be a huge challenge. It would be even faster if you do it on two playthroughs. If you still want to do it on one playthrough then continue reading, else you can skip this section and go to the 'Two Playthroughs' section.

Choose Professional difficulty so that you can get the "Are You A God?" trophy. While you play you should do as little damage as possible so you will get the "Nice Shootin', Tex!" trophy. Check the trophy description for tips on what to do.

If you want to do the rest of the trophies in this playthrough, check out the 'Clean Up' section.

When you have finished the game you should have both "Are You A God?" and "Nice Shootin', Tex!" trophies. Now use 'Replay Mission' and select first checkpoint of 'Times Square' mission. In this mission you should do as much damage as possible. Your goal is to make $3,000,000 and get the "The Destructor" trophy.

Two Playthroughs

- Playthrough 1 (Professional)

This playthrough is done to complete the "Are You A God?" trophy where you complete a career on hardest difficulty. So choose Professional when starting a new game. If you are uncomfortable with playing on the hardest difficulty as your first playthrough, you could instead do playthrough 2 first.

There are two other trophies that should be done in this playthrough and they are "The Destructor" where you do over $3,000,000 in property damage and "I Love You When You Rough-House!" where you destroy everything in a room. Both of these trophies can be done in the second mission which is 'Times Square'. If you didn't get "The Destructor" trophy after you have completed Times Square then you can continue destroying stuff in 'History Museum' mission. "The Destructor" can also be gotten with 'Replay Mission' if needed.

You can now choose if you want to do the rest of the trophies in this playthrough, in next playthrough or in clean up. Read the 'Clean Up' chapter if you want to do them in this playthrough. To make Professional difficulty easier you should do them in this playthrough since you will be able to buy upgrades faster by getting more money from the collectibles.

- Playthrough 2 ($100,000 Property Damage)

This playthrough is only to complete the "Nice Shootin', Tex!" trophy. You can do this on any difficulty but it's recommended to do it on easiest difficulty which is Casual. This trophy is missable in the sense that if you get more than $100,000 in property damage you must replay the game from the beginning.

You have also an option to do remaining trophies in this playthrough if you didn't do it in the previous playthrough. Read the 'Clean Up' chapter if you want to do them now.

Clean Up

All the offline trophies besides Nice Shootin' Tex" can be gotten through the 'Replay Mission' option.

There are three collectibles trophies that need to be followed in every mission. These are "Spores, Molds, and Fungus" where you find all the Cursed Artifacts, "Back Off Man. I'm A Scientist" where you scan all the ghosts and "Ghostbusters Drinking Game" where you must find all the Drinking Fountains. Check the trophy description for each corresponding trophy for more details.

Whilst you are going for the collectibles trophies you will receive a lot of cash which can be used to buy all the equipment upgrades. You will get "We Have the Tools!" together with all the other equipment trophies.

There is one trophy for each mission that can be earned. These are "Kosher!" in Hotel Sedgewick, "I Love You When You Rough-House!" in Times Square, "But the Kids Love Us!" in Public Library, "You Never Studied" in History Museum, "I've Quit Better Jobs Than This." in Return to Hotel Sedgewick, "Hedgebuster" in Lost Island and "One down, on the Ground!" in Central Park Cemetery. Check the requirement for each trophy when you start a new mission.

There are a few trophies that you can earn at any time as long as you have the required equipment, these are "Slam Dunk!", "Slime Dunk!", "Stasis Dunk!" and "Total Protonic Reversal". The "I'm a Ghostbuster, Not a Doctor!", "It's Slime Time" and "I Looked at the Trap, Ray!" trophies can also be done at any time.

Multiplayer

When you have finished a match in multiplayer the data isn't saved immediately. It's very important that you wait until the statistics have been updated before you start your next match. It can take a few seconds up to several minutes before your stats have been saved on the server. If you start a new match and finish the match before the stats have been updated, then it will overwrite your previous match data. Go to 'Statistics' from the main menu and take a note on your data to see if it has changed from previous check. All players that played in the match will get the update at the same time.

There are two trophies that you have to keep track on by taking notes while you are playing. These trophies are the "Gozer's Most Wanted" and the award-portion of "Overachiever". These two trophies are lengthy and will save frustration if you write down what you have completed. After you have completed a match and waited for the stats to update, make a note on what award you got and what job/location you completed.

Always play ranked matches. Even though most multiplayer trophies can be done in Campaign, it's better to choose Instant to avoid relaying on randomness. There is one trophy that can only be done in Campaign and that's "Payday!". After you have "Payday", concentrate on "Gozer's Most Wanted". Whilst going for "Gozer's Most Wanted" you will get almost all other the multiplayer trophies.

If you still have trophies left after you are done with "Gozer's Most Wanted" like "Overachiever" and "No Job Too Big" then it's time to finish them.

51 trophies ( 46  8  )

  • Awarded for outstanding performance in Ghostbusters!

    (8)

This platinum is unobtainable due to server shutdown.

Collect all other Ghostbusters: The Video Game trophies and this Platinum will be yours.

  • Complete the game on 'Casual' or 'Experienced' difficulty.

There are three difficulties which are Casual, Experienced and Professional. This trophy will pop up on any difficulty you choose when completing all the missions. The trophy will pop up right after you get the "Disaster of Biblical Proportions" trophy.

  • Complete the game on 'Professional' difficulty.

You need to complete the career on Professional difficulty to receive this trophy. If you haven't completed the game before then you will get the "We Came, We Saw..." trophy at the same time.

Professional can be hard at some points but here are a few tips:

    • Keep moving all the time so the projectiles the ghost throw at you misses you. Even when you busy trapping a ghost you might want to move a little.
    • Manually vent your pack whenever you can by pressing since that is faster than letting it vent automatically after overheating.
    • Use dodge when you can to avoid enemy attacks by pressing button since this will give you a short time where you are invincible.
    • Only revive other Ghostbusters if you are near them and safe from attacks since you can easily get killed by trying to save them. They will only be knocked out themselves when they try to save you so they aren't much help anyway. If you are fighting many ghosts you might want to try reviving the other Ghostbusters so they can act as decoy.
    • Lure away ghosts you are currently shooting by moving away to a safer place while keeping your Blast Stream on them so you won't get all other ghosts attacking you at the same time.
    • After you get the Slime Tether use it to trap ghosts fast. Even if you aren't near a trap or miss the trap entirely, the ghost will lose all its health.
    • Learn how to defeat the enemies. Scan the enemy and see the stats to find out their weakness. For Golems stay far away and shot Boson Darts since they are slow and hit hard when you are close. Use the Overload Pulse to hit groups of lesser ghosts at the same time. Use the Slime Tether on Stone Gargoyles and Stone Angels to one-hit kill them or use the Capture Stream and slamming them on the ground when they have low health.
    • Always close the Black Slime Portals with your Slime Blower to prevent more ghosts from appearing.

There is a glitch that can make this trophy easier to get, you can read about it HERE.

  • Slam dunk a ghost into a trap.

To get this trophy you must first buy the 'Slam Dunk Trapping' upgrade for $18,000. You can buy this upgrade when you press button and go to 'Equipment'. This upgrade is available at the start of the game.

Find a ghost that can be trapped and weaken it until its health becomes red. You will automatically grab the ghost with your Capture Stream. Throw a trap with and move the ghost near the trap but avoid letting the ghost be dragged into the trap's tractor beam. At this point press as you spam until the ghost is trapped.

It seems easiest to do a slam dunk if you are slamming the ghost right after it have escaped the tractor beam of the trap. It can be hard to slam dunk the ghost if you drag the ghost too close to the floor.

  • Trap a ghost using the Slime Tether.

You will unlock the Slime Gun when you arrive at the Public Library (Replay Mission: Public Library / The Trouble with Golems). The secondary fire of the Slime Gun is the Slime Tether.

Press to select the Slime Blower. Aim at a trappable ghost and press the to shoot a string of slime at the ghost. Throw a trap with then aim at it and press again to attach the other end of the Tether to it. The Slime Tether will then retract and drag the ghost into the trap.

  • Trap a ghost using the Stasis Stream.

At the beginning of Public Library you will be given the Dark Matter Generator (Replay Mission: Public Library / Cruster & Crusto). The secondary fire of this gun is the Stasis Stream which can freeze a ghost.

Press to equip the Dark Matter Generator. Hold whilst aiming at a trappable ghost to fire off a beam until the ghost is frozen. At this point press to throw your trap underneath the frozen ghost. After a short while the ghost will unfreeze and be automatically trapped.

It can be hard to pull off correctly. Try freezing a ghost that is close to the ground. You can use the Slime Tether to smash a ghost into the ground so it becomes stunned and an easy target.

  • Story related, can't be missed.

During the introduction mission you will follow Ray into the basement, there you will meet the Sloth ghost and be taught by Ray how to trap a ghost. Simply wear the ghost down by shooting the ghost with your Blast Stream by pressing . When the ghost's health is red you will automatically capture the ghost. Throw your trap in front of you by pressing . Trap the ghost and the trophy is yours.

  • Eliminate a creature.

Some ghosts must be trapped while others can be destroyed. To get this trophy you need to find one of the latter and destroy it. There are plenty of ghosts that can be destroyed throughout the game. The general rule is that floating ghosts must be trapped while ghosts running on the floor can be destroyed.

The first destroyable ghost you will bump into is the Dead Fish Flier at the Hotel Sedgewick kitchen (Replay Mission: Hotel Sedgewick / Air in the Lines). Simply use your Blast Stream until the ghost is eliminate

  • Purchase all upgrades for the Proton Gun.

There are four upgrades that you need to buy. All upgrades can be bought at the shop in the pause menu. You will need to collect $37,500 in order to buy all upgrades for this trophy. When starting the game you will begin with the Blast Stream so the two first upgrades are available from the start of the game. The other two upgrades will be available to buy when you get the Boson Dart in the Times Square level (Replay Mission: Times Square / Spin Cycle).

    • Blast Stream Focusing - $1,500
    • Blast Stream Recoil Decrease - $10,000
    • Boson Dart Supercharge - $12,000
    • Boson Damage Immunity - $14,000
  • Purchase all upgrades for the Slime Gun.

The four upgrades required for this trophy will be sold at the shop when you are introduced to the Slime Gun in the Public Library level (Replay Mission: Public Library / The Trouble with Golems). Buying all upgrades for this trophy will require $20,000.

    • Slime Blower Force Increase - $3,000
    • Reduced Slime Consumption - $4,000
    • Slime Tether Duration Boost - $5,000
    • Slime Tether Cost Reduction - $8,000
  • Purchase all upgrades for the Dark Matter Generator.

At the beginning of the Public Library level, Egon will show you how to use Shock Blast and Stasis Beam (Replay Mission: Public Library / Cruster & Crusto). All four upgrades can be bought from the shop at that point for $38,000.

    • Shock Blast Rate Increase - $11,000
    • Shock Blast Heat Reduction - $12,000
    • Stasis Stream Amplifier - $6,000
    • Stasis Stream Heat Reduction - $9,000
  • Purchase all upgrades for the Meson Collider.

The Meson Collider and Overload Pulse will be first available at the end of the History Museum level (Replay Mission: History Museum / Deep, Dark & Spooky). When you are asked to try out the new Meson Collider, the four upgrades will be available at the shop for a total cost of $35,000.

    • Meson Collider Penetration - $7,000
    • Meson Collider Accelerator - $10,000
    • Overload Pulse Accelerator - $8,000
    • Overload Pulse Enhancer - $10,000
  • Purchase all available equipment upgrades.

You need to buy all the equipment for this trophy. This includes all the weapon upgrades for Proton Gun, Slime Gun, Dark Matter Generator and Meson Collider. All equipment will be available at the store when you are introduced to the Meson Collider which is the last weapon (Replay Mission: History Museum / Deep, Dark & Spooky). See "Heat 'Em Up", "Mother Pus Bucket!", "We be fast! They be slow!" and "I Don't Want My Face Burned Off" for a list of upgrades for those specific weapons.

Besides the weapon specific upgrades, you also need to purchase these miscellaneous upgrades that are available at the start of the game:

    • PKE Meter Scan Improvement - $5,000
    • PKE Meter Recharge Booster - $8,000
    • Fast Trap - $5,000
    • Slam Dunk Trapping - $18,000

You need $166,500 in order to buy all the upgrades. You will get money by capturing and killing ghosts. You will also get money by scanning ghosts with the PKE Meter and finding Cursed Artifacts. You won't get enough money to buy everything at the end of the game if you don't scan any ghosts or find any Cursed Artifacts but if you do, you will be able to get enough money to buy everything when you arrive to the History Museum level.

  • Complete the game with more than $3,000,000 in property damage.

When you shoot at the surroundings you will damage or destroy various items like furniture. The damage you make will count towards property damage. To get this trophy you need to destroy as much as possible.

The only missions where you can cause enough property damage are the 'Times Square' and 'History Museum' ones, don't bother with the other missions since there isn't enough to make a difference. Try making around $2,000,000 in Times Square and $1,000,000 in History Museum then you will have enough for this trophy. In Times Square you only need to destroy the cars, shoot at them until it won't give you any more property damage. You can do enough damage only in Times Square to get this trophy if you destroy everything. For the History Museum you can shoot at the exhibition items to raise the damage quickly. There is lots of expensive stuff at the museum.

Here is an estimation on the amount of damage you can do in each level:

    • Firehouse - $4,000
    • Hotel Sedgewick - $150,000
    • Times Square - $3,500,000
    • Public Library - $150,000
    • History Museum - $2,000,000
    • Return to Hotel Sedgewick - $80,000
    • Lost Island - $0
    • Central Park Cemetery - $0
  • Complete the game with less than $100,000 in property damage.

    This trophy is missable.

You have to complete the entire game with as little property damage as possible. You must done have less than $100,000 damage in total on all missions. This is easiest done on Casual difficulty. You can check out your total property damage as well as the damage on each mission by pressing and going to 'Financial Records'.

If you get more than $100,000 in property damage then you have to restart the game from the beginning. Also If all the Ghostbusters get knocked out and you have to restart a checkpoint, all the property damage you did before the moment you restarted will still count. This is another reason why it's better to play on Casual difficulty when attempting this trophy.

The only levels you actually have to worry about are 'Times Square' and 'History Museum' since you can do lot of property damage in these. There are a few areas where you don't have to worry about property damage. These are when you are in Ghost World in 'Public Library' mission and the 'Return to Hotel Sedgewick' mission. Also, the two last missions 'Lost Island' and 'Central Park Cemetery' don't have anything that will count towards the property damage. After you have reached the 'Return to Hotel Sedgewick' mission there isn't much to worry about any more. Check the "The Destructor" trophy for a more detailed list on how much damage can be done during each mission.

Here are a few tips to make this trophy easier:

    • Let other Ghostbusters do the most work and only run around and revive them when needed. This would be a safe but slow process. The damage the other Ghostbusters do isn't accumulated to the property damage, just let them destroy as much as they can.
    • To speed up the process you can shoot when you are certain that you will hit the ghost. Just make sure that you are not holding the Blast Stream but instead shoot in bursts.
    • Make sure that you stay away from the walls since you can also destroy stuff by running into them.
    • During the 'Time Square' mission you only have to worry about stuff that lies on the ground. Stand underneath the floating ghosts and keep your aim high to shoot your Blast Stream upwards. This way you don't have to worry about hitting anything that will count as property damage.
    • When destroying minor ghosts that run on the floor such as Marshmallow Minis or Possessed Statues, make sure you stand in an open area and run backwards as you shoot straight onto them. If you play on Casual difficulty you can even run into them and shoot them right at your feet since they don't do much damage on you.
    • Avoid using Boson Darts as much as possible since the splash damage can damage your surroundings. Only use them when you are safe from damaging the environment.
    • Use the Slime Tether on floating ghosts so you can trap them quickly without damaging anything. Even if you miss the trap they will be stunned and an easy target. The Slime Tether is perfect in areas such as the Civil War exhibit since there is lots of expensive stuff.
    • If you backup your save to a USB flash drive or the PS+ Save File Cloud after each mission, then you don't have to restart the game if you get more than $100,000 in property damage.
  • Collect a Cursed Artifact.

    Story related, can't be missed.

During the 'Hotel Sedgewick' mission you will be taught how to use the PKE Meter. You will reach a point where Ray waits for you to search around with the PKE Meter before you continue (Replay Mission: Hotel Sedgewick / Slime Trail). On the floor near the vending machine you will find 'Gustav Self-Service Tray'. To enable the Ecto Goggles you have to press , then press to scan the tray on the floor and you will get the trophy.

  • Collect all Cursed Artifacts.

Throughout the game you will find various Cursed Artifacts lying around. Some more hidden than others. You can use your PKE Meter to find the Cursed Artifacts since the PKE Meter will signal if you are nearby.

You don't need to pick up all Cursed Artifacts on your first playthrough since you can use 'Replay Mission' to get the missing ones. You should however get as many as you can since they will give you cash to buy upgrades.

You can check out how many Cursed Artifacts you have found in each mission by going to 'Replay Mission' from the main menu. As soon as you have picked up the artifact, the game will save.

See HERE to see a more detailed description on where to find each Cursed Artifact.

You need to completely scan one ghost with your PKE Meter. Press button to enable PKE Meter and use button to start scanning an object. You will most likely get this when you are searching for Slimer in Hotel Sedgewick (Replay Mission: Hotel Sedgewick / Slime Trail).

See "Back Off Man. I'm A Scientist" for a more detailed help on how to get this trophy.

  • Obtain 100% PKE scans for every paranormal creature.

There are 48 unique ghosts and 4 substances that you need to scan in single player throughout all missions. Press to enable PKE Meter and use to start scanning a ghost you are looking at. You can see a list of everything you have scanned by pressing button and then go to 'Tobin's Spirit Guide'. Note that the 'Sloth Ghost' is added to the Spirit Guide automatically and doesn't need to be scanned.

When using your PKE Meter you will wear the Ecto Goggles, the environment will become green and you will see three circles on the screen. To get a 100% scan the inner circle needs to be green when you start scanning the ghost. If the middle circle is yellow (50%) or the outer circle is red (0%), then you won't get a full scan. If you don't get a 100% scan it will still show in your Tobin's Spirit Guide. If you look at the information on the scanned ghost you will see that some sections are missing depending on how much you managed to scan, just make sure it doesn't say '-- Unknown --' in the ghost information. All information needs to be available to count for this trophy.

Use 'Replay Mission' to find the ghosts that you are missing. They don't have to be scanned in one playthrough. You will get cash for every scan so that you can buy upgrades within the game.

You can see how many ghosts you have scanned in each mission by going to 'Replay Mission' on the main menu. Ghosts that you have only partially scanned won't count towards the total.

Besides the ghosts you also need to scan 4 substances. They can be found in almost all missions. These can't be seen in 'Replay Mission' but are still required for the trophy. Even if you see that you have scanned all the ghosts you might still need one of these four.

    The substances are:

    • Black Slime (Replay Mission: Hotel Sedgewick / Air in the Lines)
    • Black Slime Portal (Replay Mission: Times Square / Hindenburg: The Musical)
    • Ectoplasm (Replay Mission: Hotel Sedgewick / Slime Trail)
    • Ectoplasmic Residue (Replay Mission: Public Library / Cruster & Crusto)

Below is a list of all ghosts than can be scanned on each mission. The first 4 ghosts in 'Lost Island' mission have appeared in previous missions. Also the first 2 ghosts and the last one in 'Central Park Cemetery' mission have appeared in previous missions.

  • Revive your teammates 20 times.

Throughout the game you will sometimes have no teammates and sometimes up to three that help you. They are knocked out by ghosts from time to time and you have the option to revive them. When a Ghostbuster is knocked out there will be an indication on the top right screen. The green arrow will point to the direction the wounded Ghostbuster lies. Follow the arrow and then press to revive him. When you have done this 20 times then you will get the trophy.

If you play on Casual difficulty then the other Ghostbusters won't be knocked out so often. It's best to play on Professional difficulty so you have the chance to revive them more often.

  • Get slimed by a charging ghost.

You will get slimed by a ghost when they fly into you. It doesn't count if you get hit by the projectiles some ghost throws at you. You will meet several ghosts that will charge at you throughout the game so you will have plenty of chances getting this trophy.

You can also get this trophy with the very first ghost you see, which is Slimer at the Firehouse mission (Replay Mission: Hotel Sedgewick / You're Hired). Shoot Slimer with your Blast Stream and he will start charging towards you, simply stand still and let him hit you and you will get this trophy.

  • Knock yourself down with your own weapon.

There are two ways to get this trophy.

    • When one of the Ghostbusters shoots his Blast Stream, shoot your own at his so they cross each other. It only takes a few seconds then an explosion will occur and push you both backwards, then the trophy will pop. The earliest you can get this is when you and Ray are trying to get Slimer at the Firehouse mission (Replay Mission: Hotel Sedgewick / You're Hired).
    • You can also get this trophy after you have gotten the Boson Darts at Time Square mission (Replay Mission: Times Square / Spin Cycle). Simply shoot a Boson Dart right at front of your feet so that the splash damage hits you too. You can't get the trophy this way if you buy the 'Boson Damage Immunity' from the equipment upgrade.
  • Slide down the fire pole.

You will begin the game at the Ghostbusters Firehouse on the second floor. There are two fire poles that you can use. One in the room you begin in near the arcade machines and one in the bedroom. Simply walk to one of them and you will get a prompt to press to use the pole. Once you slide down to the ground floor the trophy will pop. Replay Mission: Hotel Sedgewick / You're Hired.

Between almost each level, you will be brought to the Firehouse so you have a chance getting this trophy between some missions. Simply go upstairs and use the pole.

  • Use the Slime Tether on 15 ghosts.

You will receive the Slime Gun at the Public Library (Replay Mission: Public Library / The Trouble with Golems). When you use the Slime Tether you will shoot a string of slime that will attach to the target you are pointing at. If you then shoot again on another target then the other end of the string will be attached there and the string will retract itself.

Select the Slime Blower by pressing , aim at a ghost, press , aim at anything that's static such as the floor or a wall then press again. The ghost will then be smashed into the object. Do this 15 times to get this trophy. You can use the same ghost and do it over and over again.

  • Recover 20 of your own full ghost traps.

Press to throw your own trap onto the floor, then use your Capture Stream to catch a wounded ghost and drag it to your trap. You can also throw your trap underneath a ghost that one of your teammates has caught and he will use your trap to capture it. After you have trapped a ghost simply go to your trap and you will see the command 'Recover Trap', press and you will pick up your trap. Repeat this 20 times and you will get this trophy.

  • Remedy a dubious food choice to make the bar mitzvah as orthodox as it can be.

During the 'Hotel Sedgewick' mission you will be chasing Slimer. Once you arrive to the ballroom you will see a short cutscene where Slimer appears and floats to a long table with a tall cake in the middle. At the far left end of the table you will see a ham. Destroy this ham with your Blast Stream to make this trophy appear. The ham might fall down on the floor if you hit the table so look for it there and make sure the ham is destroyed.

Replay Mission: Hotel Sedgewick / Rodriguez Bar Mitzvah.

  • The tidy architectural office could use some Proton-based humbling.

Whilst running away from Stay Puft in the 'Times Square' mission, Ray will ask you to follow him into a building. After you exit the elevator with Ray, you will be in a corridor, follow this corridor and enter the architectural office. Destroy as much as you can in this room or until you have caused at least $10,000 property damage. You don't need to destroy everything for this trophy. When you are done go to the middle of the room and look up into the skylight as it will trigger the Marshmallow Minis. After you have killed all Marshmallow Minis, Ray will go and wait by the doors. Go to the door and press to open it then the trophy will pop.

Replay Mission: Times Square / Race to the Roof.

  • The children's reading room has a story to tell, but it will take more than your eyes to see it.

After dealing with the Paper Constructs in the 'Public Library' mission you will see a cutscene of Winston finding out more about The Collector. After this you will arrive to the juvenile section. In this part of the library you have to check out three objects with your PKE Meter. Press to wear your Ecto Goggles. You don't need to scan them and you can go to each object in whatever order you want.

    • Just as you enter the juvenile room you will see a door nearby to your left. Interacting with the door by pressing will only open the door a little since there is a shelf blocking it. Shoot a Boson Dart into the room to destroy the shelf so that you can open the door and enter. You will find a chair at the corner with a panda bear on it. Check out the panda doll and then exit the small room.
    • Go to the middle of the room and you will find a hopscotch game on the floor if you have Ecto Goggle view on.
    • At the corner you will find a puppet theatre that is surrounded with Black Slime. A panda bear will appear in the puppet theatre and falls down on the floor.

Replay Mission: Public Library / Story Hour.

After the Egyptian exhibit in the 'History Museum' mission, you will arrive to the Civil War exhibit. Here you will find four loudspeakers that you can interact with by pressing button. Checking out all four loudspeakers is required for the trophy but you don't have to listen to them. Simply activating all four is enough. Going to the other side of the exhibit where the other Ghostbusters wait will trigger the next section so avoid that until you get the trophy.

Here are all loudspeakers that you need:

    • Just as you enter the exhibit you will see a showcase on the wall to the right. There will be a loudspeaker on this showcase.

This trophy is unobtainable due to server shutdown.

You have to get at least $100,000 whilst playing multiplayer to get this trophy. The money can be earned in multiple matches. You can play either Instant or Campaign matches but they must be ranked, you won't get any cash in unranked matches.

The fastest way to earn money is to play Slime Dunk job. Make sure you are slamming the ghosts into the trap to get more points.

You have to play Ranked matches for it to count. To complete the campaign you have to get 'Victory' or 'Round Over' in each of the three jobs at the end of the match. If you get 'Failure' then you won't get the trophy. If the entire team is knocked out in Containment or Destruction then you won't get the trophy.

    The available campaigns are:

    • NYC Public Library (Reading Room, Basement Stacks, Twisted Stacks)

    (7)

This trophy is unobtainable due to server shutdown.

There are four different campaigns in multiplayer. You need to have the highest total cash in each of these four campaigns. Each campaign consists of three unique jobs that are randomly chosen between Containment, Survival, Destruction, Protection and Thief. After completing all three jobs in a campaign, you have to be the player with the highest total score. You don't need to come in 1st place in all three jobs as long as you will get enough cash to be placed at top at the end of the campaign.

    The available campaigns are:

    • NYC Public Library (Reading Room, Basement Stacks, Twisted Stacks)
    • Times Square District (Streets, Office, Rooftops)
    • Museum of Natural History (Rotunda, Mayan, Egypt)
    • Graveyard (Cemetery, Altar, Lost Island)

Besides getting the overall best score, you also have to complete the job requirements. Only the Protection job is difficult and you might want to restart the campaign if one of the three jobs becomes a Protection job. Note that at least one player must be alive in the Containment and Destruction jobs. The requirements for each job are:

    • Survival - At least 1 of 10 waves completed before death.
    • Destruction - At least 1 of 26 Evil Relics destroyed and let time run out.
    • Containment - At least 1 ghost trapped and let time run out.
    • Protection - All 3 PKE Disruptors have to be filled to 100%.
    • Thief - At least 1 of 4 Artifacts still left in the level on timeout.
  • Trap over 50 ghosts in your multiplayer Ghostbusting career.

This trophy is unobtainable due to server shutdown.

You must have trapped 50 ghosts whilst playing multiplayer for this trophy to pop. It doesn't matter if it's ranked or unranked, Campaign or Instant. The fastest and easiest way to get this trophy is to play Slime Dunk on Instant. You can also play Containment jobs since all ghosts in that job can be trapped.

  • Defeat three Most Wanted Ghosts.

This trophy is unobtainable due to server shutdown.

You have to trap/destroy three Most Wanted Ghosts that appears in multiplayer mode. It can be any one of the Most Wanted Ghosts. The easiest three Most Wanted Ghosts are probably the 'The Book of Pain', 'Captain of the Guard' and then 'Olga the Terrible'.

Check the "No Job Too Big" trophy for a complete list of all Most Wanted Ghosts and their requirement.

  • Be top earner in each multiplayer job type.

    (5)

This trophy is unobtainable due to server shutdown.

There are six different jobs in multiplayer that you have to complete and be in 1st place. If all players die in Destruction or Containment then it doesn't count for this trophy. The matches have to be ranked but they can be either Instant or Campaign.

Besides becoming first you also need to fulfil these requirements on each specific job:

    • Survival - At least 1 of 10 waves completed before death.
    • Destruction - At least 1 of 26 Evil Relics destroyed and let time run out.
    • Containment - At least 1 ghost trapped and let time run out.
    • Protection - At least 1 PKE Disruptor have to be filled to 100%.
    • Thief - At least 1 of 4 Artifacts still left in the level on timeout.
    • Slime Dunk - Come in 1st place by having the most cash.
  • Defeated all Most Wanted Ghosts

This trophy is unobtainable due to server shutdown.

When you have met the requirement for a Most Wanted Ghost, it will show up in a match when you play multiplayer. The Most Wanted Ghost can appear in both Campaign and Instant matches. None of the Most Wanted Ghosts appears in Slime Dunk jobs. The ghost will arrive in the next match you play after completing the requirement as long as you play in a level the ghost will show in. The ghost will appear after a short while. Only one Most Wanted Ghost will appear during a single match. You can keep track on which Most Wanted Ghost you have trapped/destroyed by selecting 'Multiplayer Statistics' from the main menu and then press button in order to go to the next page where the Most Wanted Ghosts are.

Any player in the match can unlock a Most Wanted Ghost. That means if another player unlocks a ghost that you don't have met the requirement for, that ghost will still be registered for you. All players in the match will get the Most Wanted Ghost even if only one trap/destroys the ghost. You have to finish the level in order for the trapped/destroyed Most Wanted Ghost to count. If all players leave the match, then you have to find the ghost again. The trophy will pop as soon as you have trapped/destroyed the last Most Wanted Ghost whilest still in the match.

After you have completed a match where you trap/destroy a Most Wanted Ghost, make sure that you check the statistics screen and wait until your stats have been updated before you start a new match. It can take a few minutes.

This trophy requires you to complete every job at every possible location when playing multiplayer. There are 6 different jobs and there are 12 different locations. Although every job can't be done on every possible location. In total you must play and complete 48 matches.

The matches have to be ranked but can be done in either Instant or Campaign. All jobs have to be completed so the word 'Victory' must be displayed at the score screen after the match have ended. Only Slime Dunk is an exception which says 'Round Over' even if you come in 1st place. If you get 'Round Over' or 'Failure' on any match besides Slime Dunk then it won't count for the trophy.

After each match you successfully completed you must wait for your statistics to update. If you don't wait for an update then the match you completed won't be counted and you have to replay it. To make sure your statistics have been updated, look at 'Multiplayer Statistics' from the multiplayer main menu and see if your data have been changed since last time.

It doesn't matter if you or someone else are knocked out when the match ends. As long as it is 'Victory' it will still count for the trophy. Also if a match is completed it doesn't matter if one or two players have quit the match before it ended.

    • Survival: Both the Dark Matter Generator and Meson Collider weapons are strong against many enemies. The Shock Blast will heavily damage Golems and the Overload Pulse can hit many ghosts at the same time.
    • Survival & Destruction: You may have a better chance of completing these jobs if you have at least three players.
    • Destruction: Learn where the Evil red Relics appear. Sometimes there is a small variation sometimes but mostly they appear in the same place in the same order. You will save a lot of time if you know where to run next.
    • Destruction: Save the Dark Matter Generator and Meson Collider weapons for the Evil Relics to destroy them faster.
    • Destruction: Concentrate on the Evil Relics and ignoring the ghosts since they will disappear when the Evil Relic is destroyed. If there is a ghost that blocks an Evil Relic it's better to go to another Evil Relic nearby or use the Slime Tether to remove the ghost.
    • Containment: Always select the Slime Blower as your specialized weapon. Use Slime Tether to quickly trap ghosts and only pick a new Slime Gun power-up if all 5 shots have been used. Clear the area of all power-ups that isn't Slime ammo when you can.
    • Protection: Don't trap the ghosts, a new ghost won't arrive until another is trapped/destroyed. Each player can hold a ghost with his Capture Stream until the PKE Disruptor becomes 100%.
    • Protection: The last PKE Disruptor will spawn 1 or 2 Golems depending on how many people are playing. It's better to lure the Golem(s) away from the PKE Disruptor and only kill the minions.
    • Protection: Protection on Cemetery can be hard when you reach the last PKE Disruptor but if you freeze the Grave Monster with the Stasis Stream it will become easier. Just make sure that another player takes over the freezing while the first is refilling their ammunition. Pick the Dark Matter Generator as your specialized weapon before match begins. Clear the area of all power-ups that isn't a Dark Matter Generator when you can.
    • Thief: It doesn't matter if an Artifact is red colored or even if a ghost is holding it when the time runs out. It still counts in your favour.
    • Thief: Have at least one player that ignores capturing/destroying ghosts and that just stays near the safe zone. This player shoots ghosts that steals the Artifact until they drops it. Just make sure to keep moving since ghosts will attack after dropping the Artifact.
    • Thief: Using the Slime Tether on the Artifacts will make it harder for ghosts to steal it.
    • Slime Dunk: You will get a lot more cash if you are slamming a Slimer rather than moving the ghost into a trap.
    • Slime Dunk: Prioritize the yellow and blue Slimers. They will give you more cash if you slam them into the trap. Green gives you $2,000, yellow $3,000 and blue $4,000 if you only move them to the trap.
  • Get over $2,500,000 in multiplayer, over 30 Post-Job Awards, 50 Jobs completed.

    (6)

This trophy is unobtainable due to server shutdown.

You must fulfil three requirements in order to receive this trophy. You only need to concentrate on the Post-Job awards requirement since you will easily get the others while trying for that requirement.

Remember that you must wait for your statistics to update after finishing a match before you begin the next match, else the awards, money and job title you got from the last match won't count towards this trophy. To check if your stats have been updated, select 'Multiplayer Statistics' from the multiplayer main menu and check if your data have been changed since last time.

    30 Post-Job Awards:

Each player will be given an award on how their performance was during the match. All awards are dependent on the performance of all players. That means that two players within the match can't get the same award. You will have bigger chances in getting unique awards if there are more players.

You need to get a total of 30 unique Post-Jobs awards. Each award is unique to a specific job. It means, if you get the "Light Show" award in both Containment and Destruction jobs, then it will count as 2 unique awards. If you however play two Containment jobs and get the "Light Show" award in each, then it will only count as 1 unique award. Some awards can only be gotten on a specific job.

Any award earned during Instant or Campaign will count for this trophy as long as it's in a ranked match.

Some awards will be repeatedly occurring and can be a little annoying. Most commonly are "Ain't Afraid of No Ghost" and "Light Show". If nobody gets knocked out during the match, then the host will get the "Ain't Afraid of No Ghost" award. If you play in a match where the connection is lagging, you will easily get the "Light Show" award. Some other common awards are "Slime Magnet", "Rollin' in Dough" and "Broke". There might be others depending on your style of playing. To be able to receive other awards you might want to avoid the more common awards. You might want to be knocked out more than the other players, stay a distance from the ghosts to avoid being hit and not standing still too much.

Use this checklist to take note of which awards you have got:

    $2,500,000:

You get money by trapping or destroying ghosts. If two players trap/destroy the same ghost then both will get money once the ghost is finished.

The easiest way to earn money is probably to play Slime Dunk. In this job the ghosts will constantly arrive and they are easily captured. You don't even need to wear them down. Make sure that you actually are slamming the ghosts into the trap to earn more money instead of just dragging them into the trap.

Your rank will increase depending on how much money you have earned. You need to reach at least to the rank number 16 of 20 for this trophy which is "Wraith Wrangler".

    50 jobs:

Another requirement for this trophy is to finish any 50 jobs. The jobs that you can finish are Survival, Destruction, Containment, Protection, Thief and Slime Dunk.

The easiest and fastest way to reach 50 jobs is to play Survival. Complete the first wave and then die on the second wave. You don't have to worry about this requirement until you have completed the 30 Post-Job awards requirement.

Here is the requirements for completing a job:

    • Survival - At least 1 of 10 waves completed before death.
    • Destruction - At least 1 of 26 Evil Relics destroyed and let time run out.
    • Containment - At least 1 ghost trapped and let time run out.
    • Protection - At least 1 PKE Disruptor have to be filled to 100%.
    • Thief - At least 1 of 4 Artifacts still left in the level on timeout.
    • Slime Dunk - Come in 1st place by having the most cash.

Stand near a portal so you can quickly use it when you see Azetlor dashing towards you. Make sure to revive the Ghostbusters as soon as you can and run into a portal after rescuing. Keep it more defensive than offensive. Keeping your team mates alive will help you destroying him faster. Ignore the Book Bats that appears later. When Azetlor is defeated and you enter the new portal you will get your trophy.

He will open four Black Slime Portals around the area where ghosts will appear. Destroy the portals with your Slime Blower and destroy all the remaining ghosts to make The Chairman show himself. Use the Meson Collider's primary and secondary fire on the eye in The Chairman's chest to damage him.

She will teleport behind you quite often and you have to look around to find her again. Use your Blast Stream if you have hard time hitting her. Always rescue Egon quickly when he is knocked down. When you have damaged her enough, she will run away and hide to regenerate her health. Use your PKE Meter to find her again and quickly shoot her to stop her from regenerating, if you don't find her in time she will be at full health. Repeat this until she is destroyed. At this point the Slor is released from its prison and the Ghostbusters suggest that you should lure it out. Do this by running near the edge so that the Slor tries to bite you. If the Slor misses you, his head will be stuck on the ground a short while. Take this opportunity to use the Slime Blower on his glowing green eye on top of his forehead. If the Slor hits you, it will knock you out instantly but the other Ghostbusters will revive you. Repeat until the Slor is defeated. When you arrive to a gate with three green glowing skulls, you need to use the Slime Tether to smash the Stone Angels into the skulls. Later you arrive to the cemetery gate that you can let Ecto-1 break open by using Slime Tether. That will lead you to the Mausoleum Gates where you have to defeat two Keyhead Monsters in order to get the keys for the gate. Inside you will meet Shandor the Architect and have to eliminate his protective shell. There are four green crystals that will maintain Shandor's shell. When the pillars around the crystals opens, destroy them with the Boson Dart or Meson Collider. You can also force open the pillars with Slime Tether. Once they are destroyed trap him in the portal that appears below him. Shandor will drag the Ghostbusters into the Ghost World and show up much bigger. Shoot Shandor from the other side as far as you can from him and don't stand close to the other Ghostbusters. Revive the Ghostbusters when you can but only revive one of them if two are knocked down in the same spot.

Let the other Ghostbusters act as decoys since if you die, then the others will die one after the other trying to save you. When Shandor appears in the middle of the area he will regenerate his health. Ignore Shandor at that point and instead destroy the four pillars that provide his health regeneration. At a later stage you might want to destroy the Stone Gargoyles that appear since their attacks hit hard. The trophy will pop up at the very moment Shandor is destroyed.
