Final Fantasy XIII-2

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Trophies
Anomalous
Witnessed every possible Paradox Ending.
There are 8 Paradox Endings as well as 1 Secret Ending that is unlocked once all 160 Fragments have been collected - You need to see all 9 of the aforementioned endings for this trophy. Except for the 1st, all Paradox Endings require the use of the "Paradox Scope" Fragment Skill that can be obtained from the Chocobo Girl in Serendipity after completing the main story.

If you are in Step #1 of the Road Map, AKA "I haven't finished the main story yet," feel free to read the following spoiler, as Paradox Ending #1 can (and should) be earned en route to the end of the main story.
Paradox Ending #1: Fate and Freedom
1. Paradox Scope = N/A.
2. Episode 5 - Neo Bodhum (Year Unknown).
3. In a Live Trigger conversation with Lightning, tell her "I accept this world."
If you are in Step #2 of the Road Map, AKA "I have finished the main story and am collecting 160 Fragments," feel free to read the following spoiler for the requirements to Paradox Endings #2-8, as well as the Secret Ending.
Paradox Ending #2: The Future is Hope
1. Paradox Scope = ON.
2. Go to City of Academia AF4XX and use Time Reversal.
3. Proceed to talk with Hope and Alyssa until they request parts of the Graviton Core. Turn them all in to Alyssa, then in the Live Trigger conversation, refuse the Artifact.

Paradox Ending #3: A Giant Mistake
1. Paradox Scope = ON.
2. Go to Bresha Ruins AF005 and use Time Reversal.
3. Defeat Atlas without weakening him first.

Paradox Ending #4: Mog's Marvelous Flan Plan
1. Paradox Scope = ON.
2. Go to Sunleth Waterscape AF300 and use Time Reversal.
3. As you did in the main story, defeat the Royal Ripeness w/ Snow as an ally.
4. After the story scenes, once you can explore freely, approach the Royal Ripeness a second time and defeat him.

Paradox Ending #5: Vanille's Truth
1. Paradox Scope = ON.
2. Go to Oerba Village AF200 and use Time Reversal.
3. Make your way to the northwest rooftop and defeat Caius.

Paradox Ending #6: Test Subjects
1. Paradox Scope = ON.
2. Go to Augusta Tower AF200 and use Time Reversal.
3. Make your way to the top of the tower and defeat Proto fal'Cie Adam.

Paradox Ending #7: Beneath a Timeless Sky
1. Paradox Scope = ON.
2. Go to City of Academia AF4XX and use Time Reversal.
3. Proceed to talk with Hope and Alyssa until they request parts of the Graviton Core. Turn them all in to Alyssa, then in the Live Trigger conversation, accept the Artifact.
4. Exit back out to the city. Enter gate to the Time-Space Interval with the Artifact you received from Alyssa.
5. Follow along the path, talking to Yule as you did in the main story, then defeat Caius in a 1-on-1 battle with Serah. Note that even on Easy Difficulty with a Level 99 in all 6 Roles Serah and Tier 5 monster companions, this can be one of the more challenging battles in the game.

Paradox Ending #8: Heir to Chaos
1. Paradox Scope = OFF.
Again, note that Paradox Scope = OFF for this battle.
6. Follow along with the events in Neo Bodhum (Year Unknown). Now would be a good time to turn Paradox Scope = ON.
7. In a Live Trigger conversation with Lightning, tell her "I won't accept it."
8. Enter the time distortion to A Dying World AF700. Follow along with the events as you did in the main story, then defeat Caius in a 1-on-1 battle with Noel. Again, note that Paradox Scope = ON for this battle.

Secret Ending (160 Fragments Required)
1. Paradox Scope = ON.
2. Go to City of Academia AF500. Time Reversal is not necessary.
3. Proceed to defeat Caius and the 3x Chaos Bahamuts as you did in the main story. After all of the same ending events, there will be bonus scenes tacked on to the end - this is the Secret Ending
After watching the Secret Ending, Anomalous will unlock.

@Reign420

Close the Academia 4XX gate, with paradox scope off. There are also two other paradox endings that take place in this part of the story. If you want to get the ending with lightning first, keep the paradox scope off, then go back and do it again with the paradox scope on and you will fight a very strong Caius in The Void Beyond ??? after speaking to all the Yeuls. For the third paradox ending keep the paradox scope off through beating New Bodhum ??? then turn it on before you enter Noels dream scenario

@dragonirish

There is a hidden ending after the ending credits once you get all 160 fragments. This counts as one of the paradox endings

I found a tactics that make serah solo fight wit Caius very easy.
I used maxed Serah [all roles and everything] - but in that time most of players will have her maxed out - so it is not a problem.

The point is - to use monster - a Sentinel - i used Lancer because it is an Early pecker.
Give serah an item improving her potions effect [BTW - this is the best item in the game ] and/or item boosting up sabouter role.
It is very improtant have some wound potions [2 should be enough] becasue this fight can be a long one.

Prepare all six roles in paradgrim + Sentinel [Lancer]. At the start of the battle protect sentinel with shell and protect [you can do it on serah too]. Then proceed with debuffing Caius until you get him poisoned [poison nullifies his regen :)]. Fight and cure yourself

I like to point out that the 'A Giant Mistake' Paradox Ending can be done with the the Paradox Scope off. You just have to fight Atlas without using the device that makes him weaker.

You don't need the paradox scope for the flan ending as well. Just close the gate and kill His Royal Ripeness

There are a total of 9 Paradox endings & you must have the Paradox Scope to get these endings, must have beaten the game. First, defeat Royal Ripeness, defeat Atlas without using the switch, defeat the Proto Fal'cie in Augusta Tower, do not accept the artifact from Alyssa in Academia. Say yes to Lightning when she offers you to stay while in New Bodhum 700AF and then defeat Caius in Oerba 200 AF, while in the Void Beyond alone as Serah, again with Noel in A Dying World 700AF and finally again at the end of the game.

Never mind. I so this and get my answer.

After watching the Secret Ending, Anomalous [Silver Trophy] will unlock.

Does anyone else agree that the "secret ending" felt more like a giant middle finger to the player?

I can also confirm that endings 3 and 4 do not require the scope. Just close the gates and fight them and any time after unlocking time reversal for them. Oh and of course be ready for a fight, haha.

Wow, #7 is a great tip for Serah versus Caius. I did it on Normal difficulty and didn't even bother with buffing, still found it very easy and quick, not even close to the difficulty of e.g. Raspatil or Yomi.

I used the accessory Impeder's Opal which increases Serah's SAB role bonus, so you can get a hit on Poison a little quicker. Keeping Poison on him at all times is the main concern. Other than that, just have a decent sentinel companion (I used my veteran racer Silver Chocobo). Since he spent most of the time using Mediguard I never really even needed to stop to heal besides using a couple potions.

For comparison, I did this right after Raspatil. Raspatil took me about 45 minutes, this took perhaps 5.
