Introduction:

Disney Infinity is an open world game along the lines of the Skylander game. You put the figure on the Disney Infinity base and play in the game as that character. The starter pack comes with 3 characters and the Play Sets for Monsters University, The Incredibles and Pirates of the Caribbean. You can purchase extra characters to play in the game, including The Lone Ranger and Cars, both of which come with an additional Play Set.

There is really no need to worry about the order you decide to complete the trophies in, as everything in the game is open and you are welcome to re-visit anywhere to continue working on whatever trophy you would like. It is recommended that you complete the 3 Play Sets before spending too much time in the Toy Box if you are just wanting to unlock the trophies quickly. The following steps are merely recommendations, it is not necessary to complete the game in this or any order.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Complete the 3 Play Sets. These can be completed in any order.

Monsters University: This Play Set uses stealth mechanics. You will not be killing enemies in this set.
The Incredibles: This one is a sandbox with lots of robots to beat up.
Pirates of the Caribbean: This one is the most traditional of the included sets, with plenty of fighting and some platforming.

51 trophies ( 42  )

  • Complete all Trophies.

As with most other games, complete all the non-DLC trophies for the Platinum.
  • Collect 15 Stars in a Play Set.

    See All Star
  • Collect 15 Stars in 2 Play Sets.

    See All Star
  • Collect 15 Stars in 3 Play Sets.

In each of the 3 starter Play Sets (Monsters University, The Incredibles and Pirates of the Caribbean), you can find a list of the 30 challenges that award Stars by pressing , selecting "Mission Log" then pushing . Many of these challenges will be accomplished by completing the storyline and side missions for each Play Set. You could also use the Cars or Lone Ranger play sets if you purchased them to complete this trophy. The trophy should pop a couple seconds after completing the 15th star in a Play Set.
  • Collect 50 Stars.

    See Wish Upon a Star
  • Collect 70 Stars in the Disney Infinity Starter Pack.

You get Stars for completing challenges, feats and levelling your characters (once you visit the statue in the Hall of Heroes). This trophy should come naturally while completing the Play Sets, Adventures and Feats trophies.
  • Play a 2-player game using two different Characters.

Simply go into your Toy Box, turn on a second controller and put 2 characters on the Disney Infinity Base.
  • Unlock 3 Character Chests.

Character chests are found scattered throughout the 3 play sets and have a picture of which character can open them. There are 3 in each play set for the starter characters, as well as some for the additional purchasable characters. You only need to open 3 throughout all 3 Play Sets for this trophy so no additional characters are necessary. These are cumulative and do not need to be completed in 1 Play Set.

Note: One of the beginning quests in the Pirate play set, called "Treasure for You" will show you the location of one of these types of chests.
  • Level up 3 Characters to Level 15.

You level you characters in Disney Infinity by collecting Sparks (blue objects found from defeating enemies and breaking objects in the world). You also gather sparks from completing quests in the play sets and winning medals in the Adventures. Completing each of the 3 starter play sets should level that character to somewhere between level 8 and 12 (depending on which play set and how many of the side quests you complete).

The quickest way to level to 15 after this is to select the Castles and Slingshots Adventure and continue getting a gold medal on it until you hit level 15. Thanks to JesseBlur for the tip.

If you have unlocked the fan from the Disney Infinity Vault, you can place it in an empty Toy Box, drive a car over it so that the car is hovering, then tape/rubber band the right stick in a direction to continuously do tricks. This still works for levelling even though sparks do not grant XP in Toy Box mode. Video courtesy of Craig Sullivan:
Note: Currently you do not gain levels from collecting sparks in Toy Box mode so quick levelling there is not an option.
  • Level up 2 Characters to Level 15.

    See Character Elite Force
  • Level up 1 Character to Level 15.

    See Character Elite Force
  • Visit the Hall of Heroes.

At any point in the open world, press => Travel => Hall of Heroes. The trophy will pop shortly afterwards.
  • Play 3 Play Sets and the Toy Box.

Once completed with the introduction to the game, you are placed in the Toy Box (which does not count for this trophy). You need to create an empty Toy Box and enter that one for this trophy to count. You need to put the Play Set piece on the Disney Infinity base (the clear statue that came in the starter pack) and enter each of the 3 Play Sets to unlock this trophy. Play Sets can only be entered with the appropriate character e.g you can't go to the Monsters University Play Set with Jack Sparrow.
  • Drive a car, pilot a helicopter, and a ride a mount.

You can get a car and a helicopter in The Incredibles play set or unlock them with spins in the Vault area. You can get a mount in the Monsters University Play Set. All of these need to be used in the Toy Box for this trophy to count.
  • Place one Power Disc on the Disney Infinity Base.

The Power Discs are the round ones but a recent patch means you can also use the hexagonal ones.
  • Talk to mission givers 20 times throughout Disney Infinity.

Any missions you take in the Play Sets will count towards this and it should be one of the first trophies you unlock.
  • Defeat 100 enemies throughout Disney Infinity.

Enemies cannot be defeated in the Monsters University Play Set. There are plenty of enemies in both The Incredibles and Pirates of the Caribbean Play Sets so head to one of those to get this trophy.
  • Play a 4 player game.

    Online

You can do this with 2 people. The other person must be on your friends list to invite them to a game. Press , select "Online/Multiplayer", select Friends and Invite to Game. Simply put 2 characters on your base, have the other person put 2 characters on their base then join their game.

Head over to the Trophy Boosting Thread if needed.
  • Defeat another player's Character.

    See Not Sorry?
  • Defeat 40 player Characters.

You can put 2 characters on your Disney Infinity base and defeat the second player. Unless you have the bonus characters this must be done in Toy Box mode. Simply defeat them 40 times for this trophy to unlock.
  • Stand on top of a stack of 4 Characters.

    Online

Once you are in the game with 4 characters, have someone pick you up. Then have someone pick the 2 of you up, then the last person pick up the 3 stacked players. Only the person on the top will get this trophy so un-stack and do for the next person. This can be done with 2 people using the same technique as the It's a Party trophy.

Head over to the Trophy Boosting Thread if needed.
  • Win First Place in a multiplayer Adventure.

Go into an Adventure with 2 players (either local or online) and win the event. Note: You do not need to obtain a gold medal, just do better than the other player.
  • Save 4 different Toy Box worlds.

To create a new Toy Box press => Travel => Pre-built Toy Box World. Place an item in the world, then save into 4 different spots to unlock this trophy.
  • Complete all Mastery Adventures.

The Mastery Adventures are the tutorial for Disney Infinity. There are 6 of them to complete. More will unlock as you complete the earlier ones. They can be accessed by pressing and selecting Mastery Adventures.
  • Place a toy from a Play Set in a Toy Box you are hosting.

Play in a Play Set of your choice until you unlock some items (either from the collectibles in the play set or from the store in the play set). Once unlocked, go into a Toy Box and place the item in the world. If you are not online or in someone else's Toy Box, you are considered the host of the Toy Box you are in.
  • Take 10 turns in the Disney Infinity Vault.

    See Toy Maker Extreme
  • Take 20 turns in the Disney Infinity Vault.

    See Toy Maker Extreme
  • Win 5 bonuses in the Disney Infinity Vault.

Once in the Disney Infinity Vault, you will have a screen with 16 random items, 2 of the items on this page will have a yellow star background. These are the bonuses. Since where you land once you use a spin is random, you can guarantee the 2 bonuses on a page by waiting until you have 16 spins to start. Once an item is received it won't be replaced until you shuffle so eventually you will be guaranteed the bonus items using this method.
  • Take 30 turns in the Disney Infinity Vault.

The Disney Infinity Vault can be accessed by stepping on the yellow circle found in the Hall of Heroes and the Beginning Toy Box. In order to take a turn you need to collect spin tokens. You get spin tokens from levelling characters and completing adventures and Play Sets. Use 30 tokens to unlock all 3 levels of these trophies.
  • Get 18 Stars from Adventures.

Adventures can be accessed by pressing and selecting Adventures. These are mini-games in the world. The first one on the list is specific to the character you are currently playing as, the rest are the same for everyone. Each medal awarded counts as 1 Star so gold in an Adventure would count 3 Stars.
  • Complete 25 feats.

    See Feat Master
  • Complete 75 feats.

Feats can only be accomplished in the Toy Box world, you cannot work towards completing feats in Play Sets or the Hall of Heroes. You can find a list of current feats by pressing and selecting feats. The first page shows feats that need to be accomplished, pressing once will show you the feats you have completed.

Note: Some feats will require specific items found in the Disney Infinity Vault, meaning you will not be able to complete them until you have that specific item. You can also check out the Pre-built Disney Worlds to see if the items you need for feats are in there. Use the same technique as for the bonus items if you want to guarantee an item needed to complete a feat.
  • Complete 3 Adventures to bronze standard.

    See It's All Gold!
  • Complete 3 Adventures to silver standard.

    See It's All Gold!
  • Complete 3 Adventures to gold standard.

These are the mini-games for Disney Infinity. Get the gold medal on 3 different ones to complete these 3 trophies. The easiest are: Castles and Slingshots, Sully's Paintball challenge (requires Sully to be on the base) and Sumo.
  • Complete a story mission in a multiplayer game.

Characters that do not belong in the world may not participate in story missions. That means you cannot bring a Monsters University character into The Incredibles or Pirates of the Caribbean Play Sets.

Note: I was not able to invite a friend into a story mission, meaning the only way to complete this currently is by purchasing a secondary character for one of the Play Sets.
  • Complete a story mission.

Start a Play Set of your choosing and complete the first mission for this trophy to unlock.
  • Complete the story in a Play Set.

See There is no "end" in infinity!
  • Complete the story in 2 Play Sets.

See There is no "end" in infinity!
  • Complete the story in 3 Play Sets.

The Starter Pack includes the Play Sets for The Incredibles, Monsters University and Pirates of the Caribbean. Play all 3 of these Play Sets to conclusion of the main story to unlock these trophies. Alternatively, you can purchase and complete the Play Sets for Cars or The Lone Ranger if you would prefer to do those. You do not need to complete side quests for these to count.
  • Unlock 10 toys from Play Sets.

This should come naturally by completing the stories in the Play Sets. Once 10 items have been unlocked that can be used in the Toy Box, the trophy will unlock.
  • Buy 2 Packs from one Play Set.

This can be done in The Incredibles or Lone Ranger Play Sets. When you press during the story, you will bring up a list of current packs and tools. You need to have 2 packs for this trophy.

Note: I am waiting for confirmation on whether or not this can be completed in the Cars Play Set.
  • Buy 2 Tools from one Play Set.

This can be done in either the Pirates or Monsters University Play Sets. You will be guided to purchase 2 tools in the Monsters University Play Set. In Pirates, you can purchase the tools once you unlock them, but they are not required to complete the Play Set.

Note: I have not played the Cars or Lone Ranger sets so I'm not sure if this could be completed in one of those.
  • Buy 4 Play Set buildings and place them in the Toy Box.

Play Set buildings will unlock as you complete each of the 3 stories. There are more than 4 Play Set buildings in each story so once unlocked, go into your Toy Box and place 4 buildings in the world to unlock. Make sure you're using the buildings you unlocked in the Play Sets, not the buildings that came in the Toy Box or were unlocked from Vault Spins.
  • Customize 6 buildings in the Play Sets.

Monsters University is the easiest way to complete this. Once you are taught how to customize a building, run around and change something on 6 different buildings for this to unlock.
  • Complete the "Easy" level on all Challenges in a single Play Set.

    See Challenges Conquered
  • Complete the "Medium" level on all Challenges in a single Play Set.

    See Challenges Conquered
  • Complete the "Hard" level on all Challenges in a single Play Set.

Challenges will appear in the Play Sets as you complete the story. They are seen as a big beam of light coming out of the ground. All challenges must be completed on Easy, Medium and Hard. While this can be done in any Play Set, Pirates has the fewest and easiest challenges of all the Play Sets. You do not need the extra characters to complete all the challenges for a Play Set.
