Introduction:

Welcome to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2! This game is the long awaited sequel to the underground hit Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and its sequel Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate. For those that are unaware, the Lords of Shadow saga is completely separate from the main canon story found throughout the other Castlevania titles. This game features trophies largely based around finding collectibles and maxing all your stats. There are also some challenges that must be completed on the hardest setting.

Overall, the trophy list in this game is not too rough. Many of them will come through natural gameplay. There are some areas that can prove troublesome such as the challenges, and finding certain collectibles for 110% completion. This game is very similar to it's main console predecessor, but it requires a lot more time since it is open world with a lot more to do. However, if you can grit your teeth and plow through, you'll have a very nice platinum on your hands. (With a very cool title, if I do say so myself)

Step 1: Learn to be a 'Creature of the Night' or a 'Lord of Shadow'

At the start of the game you will have the option to pick between 'Twilight Knight' (Easy), 'Creature of the Night' (Normal), or Lord of Shadow (Hard). You may notice that 'Prince of Darkness' (Very Hard) is locked out. This means you will need a minimum of 2 playthroughs for the platinum. For your first playthrough I highly recommend just playing through the story and getting a feel for the mechanics of the game. You will get all the story related trophies and most likely some of the experience and combat based ones as well. You may also like to find most of the gems and other collectibles as they can make your 'Prince of Darkness' run a little bit smoother. This is not necessary though as 'Prince of Darkness' isn't too difficult. Make sure to take note of Classic Flavor as it is missable. It isn't crucial at this moment since you have another playthrough to do, but you may want to get it out of the way since it offers a nice bonus if you do it. I would not focus on mastering the weapons yet, since mastery levels get reset on New Game+. I would not recommend starting the Kleidos challenges yet either since you will need to beat them all on 'Prince of Darkness' difficulty anyway to obtain Kleidos Legend.

Step 2: Become the 'Prince of Darkness'

Now you will start the more difficult run through the story, 'Prince of Darkness' difficulty. This isn't too difficult, but can have some trouble spots due to the increased enemy damage and aggression. If you would like some useful tips and advice you can check under Prince of Darkness. Want you'll need to do is go into the menu, then go into Extras, and select New Game+. This will start a new game on 'Prince of Darkness' while still keeping all of the collectibles you found in your first playthrough. All of your gems, upgrades, Kleidos pieces, lore, artwork, and experience will carry over to your next run. Unlike the first game, you will not start out with all of your relics and abilities. You need to play through the entire story again from the beginning. During this playthrough make sure to get the missable Classic Flavor if you have not done so that way you won't have to do a 3rd playthrough later on. At this time you will also focus on buying all weapon skills and upgrades, alongside mastering them all for The path of the warrior and Weapons Master. Two playthroughs is more than enough to acquire the amount of experience you need for every skill and upgrade, so you may even get yourself Veteran.

Step 3: Shift from hunting monsters to hunting collectibles

Now that you have finished the story, it is time to begin your collectible hunt if you haven't done so already. The reason we are doing this now is because all of these upgrades will be useful for when you attempt the Kleidos challenges later on. Right now you will be locating all of the Life gems, Void gems, Chaos gems, Relic upgrades, and Kleidos pieces so that you will be fully equipped to attempt all challenges. This in return should also net you Expert Silversmith and Multiple Pockets. You will also need to locate all lore to contribute towards your 110% completion for The Outer Limits. Artwork will also contribute to your percentage, as well as the trophy Philanthropist. Another part of your percentage comes from locating secrets like the dungeon monuments. These require dungeon keys to open them, and usually contain 2000 experience points. The Chupacabras' shop is going to have most of these things. The Chupacabras' shop contains 1 of each type of gem so make sure to go there and buy those since they are necessary. The shop also contains artwork you need to buy, and also the dungeon keys you need to open up each monument. When you buy everything you need from the shop (Not including any relics you buy) you will most likely be very close to getting, if you haven't already gotten, Customer of the month.

Step 4: A challenger for the ages

Here comes what will most likely be the hardest part of the platinum, the Kleidos Challenges. At this point you should have all health, magic, and relic upgrades as well as all weapons mastered. Also, with 2 playthroughs under your belt you should be familiar with the mechanics of game, and the different weaknesses and strengths of enemies. There are 4 sets of challenges in total. Each set contains 3 to 4 different challenges. Each challenge will feature different enemies, and will require that you perform certain tasks as you defeat them. Usually along the lines of "Do not use any magic" or "Keep the focus meter going for x:xx amount of time." There are certain tricks for some of these challenges that can make them very easy. Others can be very hard depending on what you are required to do. For a guide on how to complete these challenges check under Kleidos Legend. If you have done everything else up to this point, after completing the challenges you should unlock The Outer Limits.

Step 5: Cleaning up the blood stains

At this point there should be really nothing left for you to do. If you weren't careful and haven't gotten Classic Flavor, then now is the time to do it. However, make sure you have done EVERYTHING else before starting a new game! You do not want to start a new game and have your mastery levels reset if you haven't gotten The Outer Limits yet. At this point if you are still missing some mastery, then now is the time to finish those up. You should also focus on finding any secrets and collectibles you may have held off on so that you can have your 110% completion rate. This includes the various lore hidden throughout the game! If you are struggling with any collectibles, look under The Outer Limits for a guide on finding them all. Once you've done everything else, you will have Trophy Hunter! Congratulations!

Introduction:
Welcome to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 "Revelations" DLC! This downloadable content is the first and only piece of content that will be available for Lords of Shadow 2. This DLC provides an explanation for the events that happened within the gap of the main game's prologue and the main game itself. However, in this DLC you do not play as Gabriel Belmont/Dracula, instead you take the role of Alucard who is a key figure within the events of the Lords of Shadow saga. If you have not played the main story, I highly suggest that you do that first because this DLC can give away certain things that were meant to be surprises in the main game. The content is a bit small for the price that is asked, but if you are a Castlevania fan it's a bit more worth it. I'm a big Castlevania fan, but even I was a little uncomfortable with the price tag.

Regarding the trophies in this content, they are very easy. If you had no trouble with the main game's list, then this list will be a cakewalk as it is 100 times easier. The only trophies that may give you trouble are Prince of Darkness if you are totally new to the combat system (However there is a playthrough you must do to unlock Prince of Darkness so you'll get acquainted anyway) and collecting all artwork since they are a bit random in appearance. Everything else is extremely easy and takes a small amount of time. There are very few collectibles, and there is no completion rate trophy so you may do them on any playthrough you choose.

Step 1: Complete the game on 'Twilight Knight', 'Creature of the Night', or 'Lord of Shadow'
In this step you will focus on completing the game once to unlock 'Prince of Darkness' difficulty. Take this time to get acquainted with Alucard's move set. He is way easier to learn than Gabriel and much easier to master as well. Also, break any destructible items you may find since they may yield artwork. This will lessen the work load for you later on. Once you complete the story, you will have the option to continue exploring the castle, or start a New Game+ on 'Prince of Darkness' difficulty. I recommend exploring the castle as explained in the next step.

Step 2: Find all collectibles, and master the Crissaegrim
In this step you will be locating all collectibles and mastering Alucard's only weapon, the Crissaegrim. The Dodo Egg relic is still available for you to use, which can really help you in finding all the collectibles in the DLC. Collecting them all will help you during your run through 'Prince of Darkness' since you will have full magic and full health upgrades. If you are having trouble finding them all, look under Fine Nose for a guide on collecting them all. You'll also want to master the Crissaegrim now for Crissaegrim Master, rather than wait for it to reset on 'Prince of Darkness,' because it takes less mastery to level up a weapon now than it will on 'Prince of Darkness' difficulty. You can choose to go around destroying stuff to get all artwork as well, but you may wish to hold on that since you have to run through the story one more time anyway. Chances are, unless you farmed experience, you may not have all of Alucard's skills unlocked for The Path of the Wolf. This is okay since experience points are reimbursed at the start of a New Game+.

Step 3: Complete the game on 'Prince of Darkness'
Now that you're geared up and practically done, it's time to start 'Prince of Darkness' difficulty. If you collected all Igneas, Life, and Glaciem upgrades, you are more than ready to tackle this as it is not that hard anyway. Simply go through the story one more time, destroying stuff if you still need artwork. After this step, you should be done with the DLC unless you are still missing some things.

Step 4: Clean up
If you haven't found all the collectibles, now is the time to do that since you can roam the castle freely. You may also be missing the trophy Not again... or possibly Butcher if you haven't gotten them during the previous runs due to neglect. It's also possible that you are missing Art Dealer, so make sure to look around for things you can break. Simply finish up anything that you have left during free roam, and that's it. You are done!

57 trophies ( 10  43  19  )

  • Unlock all trophies

  • Complete the game at "Prince of Darkness" difficulty

To unlock 'Prince of Darkness', you must first complete the game on 'Twilight Knight', 'Creature of the Night', or 'Lord of Shadow' difficulty first. Afterwards, go to Extras and select New Game+. This will start a new game on Prince of Darkness while still keeping your collectibles and experience intact. On this difficulty enemies deal more damage and are more aggressive, meaning they will attack more often. You will get this trophy during the ending credits. This shouldn't be difficult, but here are some tips to help you:

    - Try to always have some Tears of a Saint & Ensnared Demon relics on you. Tears of a Saint fully restores your health plus gives you a little extra for a limited time. One thing I like to do is when I see that a Tears of a Saint has dropped, if I'm at full capacity, I use one to get my health filled up and extended, then I pick up the one that dropped. That way it doesn't go to waste. Ensnared Demon gives you unlimited magic for a limited time, this is great during moments where you have absolutely no magic and need some in a pinch.

    - Even if you are only missing a small amount of health, you should be feeding on enemies. Feeding on enemies is great if you're being rushed and want to give yourself a bit of breathing room during the fight. It also restores small amounts of health which may not seem useful on one enemy, but can be highly effective when done consecutively. Small amounts of health can mean the difference between winning the fight or dying.

    - Always try to have some Void magic. I barely used the Chaos Claws, but the Void Sword is a must. The Void Sword grants you health upon successful enemy hits, and can restore large amounts of health when used correctly. If you are facing a large amount of enemies and you have low health, try using the fully upgraded Combined Cut attack ( x4). This will quickly bring all your health back if landed on multiple enemies.

    - Know your enemy. Make sure to have an idea as to how to defeat each type of enemy. Remember that shields can be broken with the Chaos Claws, and quick enemies can be frozen with Void Projections and Void Sword specials. Also remember that enemies may be armored in front, but not always the back. Instead of wasting Chaos magic destroying the shield, you can just do a somersault strike to damage them from behind instead. Make sure you have an idea of their attacks so you know when and how to dodge correctly as well. Having a balanced offense and defense is essential. Just running up and attacking is the perfect way to get yourself killed. Keep a keen eye out and listen for visual and audible cues that tell when an unblockable attack is coming up.

    - If things go south, remember that you always have the Dragon Talisman and weapon specials. The Chaos Claws' Explosive Earthquake move is crazy overpowered and perfect for taking down almost all types of enemies. You also have the void shield which can completely protect you from all forms of attacks if you find you are taking too much damage.

  • Complete all the Reminiscences of Sapphire challenges

To open up Kleidos challenges, you need to collect Kleidos pieces. Within the game you will find Piles of Sacrifices. These will contain the Kleidos pieces you need to unlock the different challenges. Make sure to use the Dodo Egg relic to assist you in finding them all if you are having trouble. This set of challenges will unlock after collecting 4 Kleidos pieces. You will earn this trophy after completing the first set of challenges. Look under Kleidos Legend for a guide on the Kleidos challenges.

  • Complete all the Recollections of Ruby challenges

This set of challenges will unlock after collecting 8 Kleidos pieces. You will earn this trophy after completing the second set of challenges. Look under Kleidos Legend for a guide on the Kleidos challenges.

  • Complete all the Reminders of Amethyst challenges

This set of challenges will unlock after collecting 12 Kleidos pieces. You will earn this trophy after completing the third set of challenges. Look under Kleidos Legend for a guide on the Kleidos challenges.

  • Complete all the Memories of Emerald challenges

This set of challenges will unlock after collecting 16 Kleidos pieces. You will earn this trophy after completing the fourth set of challenges. Look under Kleidos Legend for a guide on the Kleidos challenges.

  • Complete all of the Kleidos challenges

This trophy will unlock after completing all Kleidos challenges. This includes: Reminiscences of Sapphire, Recollections of Ruby, Reminders of Amethyst, and Memories of Emerald. Look under Kleidos Legend for a guide on the Kleidos challenges.

  • Complete all of the Kleidos challenges at "Prince of Darkness" difficulty

This is probably the toughest trophy of the bunch. You must complete all Kleidos challenges on 'Prince of Darkness' difficulty. Enemies will be tough, so you have to make sure you are knowledgeable on enemy attacks and weaknesses. Before attempting these, I recommend you find all upgrades so you will have full use of your magic, full amount of relics, and a full amount of health. Make sure to take note of the challenge requirements in order to fully complete it. Remember that the Dragon Talisman is an option if the challenge does not restrict it; this relic makes certain challenges a lot easier when utilized.

Here is a guide courtesy of Dinos: Kleidos Challenge Guide

  • Recover 30 Void Gems

Void Gems are collectibles that increase your maximum amount of Void magic for every 5 you find. Throughout the game you will encounter Pain Boxes. These boxes contain gems of different kinds. For this trophy you will need to find the 29 Pain Boxes that contain Void Gems. Make sure to utilize the Dodo Egg relic since it aids you in finding the Pain Boxes. You must also buy 1 Void Gem at the Chupacabras' shop for 5000 Experience. Look under Expert Silversmith for a guide to help find all gems if you are still having trouble.

  • Recover 30 Chaos Gems

Chaos Gems are collectibles that increase your maximum amount of Chaos magic for every 5 you find. Throughout the game you will encounter Pain Boxes. These boxes contain gems of different kinds. For this trophy you will need to find the 29 Pain Boxes that contain Chaos Gems. Make sure to utilize the Dodo Egg relic since it aids you in finding the Pain Boxes. You must also buy 1 Chaos Gem at the Chupacabras' shop for 5000 Experience. Look under Expert Silversmith for a guide to help find all gems if you are still having trouble.

  • Recover 30 Life Gems

Life Gems are collectibles that increase your maximum amount of life for every 5 you find. Throughout the game you will encounter Pain Boxes. These boxes contain gems of different kinds. For this trophy you will need to find the 29 Pain Boxes that contain Life Gems. Make sure to utilize the Dodo Egg relic since it aids you in finding the Pain Boxes. You must also buy 1 Life Gem at the Chupacabras' shop for 5000 Experience. Look under Expert Silversmith for a guide to help find all gems if you are still having trouble.

  • Recover all the Void, Chaos and Life gems

This trophy will be unlocked upon collecting all Void Gems, Chaos Gems, and Life Gems throughout the game. All of these gems are found in Pain Boxes hidden throughout the game, and there are 30 of each. Some are easy to find, while others can be hidden well. Luckily, there is a relic called the Dodo Egg to help. This relic summons a Dodo which will fly off to the nearest secret (that you are able to access with your current abilities) and mark it on your map for a limited time. If you are still having trouble finding the gems here is a collectible guide: Collectible Guide (Guide courtesy of 360GameTV)

  • Recover all the upgrades for the Relics

Throughout the game, you will find Piles of Sacrifices. The Piles of Sacrifices can contain either relic upgrades or Kleidos pieces. For this trophy, you will need to find all the Piles of Sacrifices that contain relic upgrades. There are 2 upgrades for each relic, which includes: Tears of a Saint, Stolas' Clock, Seal of Alastor, Dodo Egg, and Ensnared Demon. The Talisman does not have an upgrade. If you are still struggling to find all of the Relic upgrades, here is a collectible guide to help find them all: Collectible Guide (Guide courtesy of 360GameTV)

  • Collect all of the art

Artwork can be found by destroying objects, killing enemies, and purchasing them from the Chupacabras' shop. To obtain this trophy you will need to collect all 400 pieces of art throughout the game. Make sure to destroy all breakable objects you might find and check the shop often as the Chupacabras do restock on art after you buy them all. Every artwork that's bought in the shop or collected comes with 7 pieces of art. So picking up one art icon will acquire you 7 pieces of art.

  • Acquire a skill

This trophy will most likely be earned naturally. When you gather enough experience, the game will notify you that you may purchase a skill by hitting and looking under which weapon you want to purchase a skill for. You may do this yourself at any time, or if you hit the button when the game tells you, you will automatically be taken to the skill that is available for you to buy. The cheapest skill to buy is Somersault for 150 experience. This is the only skill that carries over to each weapon as well.

  • Acquire all of the Shadow Whip skills and upgrades

Please see the trophy The path of the warrior

  • Acquire all of the Void Sword skills and upgrades

Please see the trophy The path of the warrior

  • Acquire all of the Chaos Claws skills and upgrades

Please see the trophy The path of the warrior

  • Acquire all of the skills and upgrades

Skills and upgrades are different combos and moves you can purchase in order to use them in combat. Skills and upgrades are acquired by purchasing them with experience points. There are only 3 weapons in the game: Shadow Whip, Void Sword, and Chaos Claws. All of them have skills and upgrades for you to buy. Some skills cannot be purchased until you have other skills first, and some skills cannot be purchased until you acquire certain abilities in the game. Purchasing skills and their upgrades is essential for being able to master that particular weapon as well. To purchase every skill and upgrade will cost you approximately 120,000 experience points.

  • Buy an item at the Chupacabras' shop

You will open up the Chupacabras' shop fairly early in the game. You will have to free him in order to progress, and afterwards he will open his shop for you to buy items such as relics, gems, dungeon keys, etc. Simply buy any item at the Chupacabras' shop to obtain this trophy. The cheapest item to buy is artwork for 150 experience points.

  • Spend a total of 20000 Experience Points at the Chupacabras' shop

If you are going for the platinum then this trophy will probably come naturally. If you are looking for all of the gems then the Chupacabras' shop will have 1 of each for 5000 experience points a piece. Simply buying these 3 items will get you 15,000 right there. The rest will come from buying artwork, dungeon keys, and relics if you are looking for 110% completion. Make sure to do this in one playthrough, as amount of experience spent does not carry over, so you will have to spend 20,000 from scratch.

  • Increase the Mastery Level of a weapon

This trophy will most likely be earned naturally. When a weapon is available to upgrade the game will notify you to press . When you do this you will automatically be taken to the move that is available to be transferred towards mastery of the weapon. Transfer enough moves to raise the level of any weapon by 1, and this trophy will unlock.

  • Increase the Mastery Level of the Shadow Whip to the maximum

See the trophy Weapons Master. On 'Prince of Darkness' difficulty, you must master every skill in order to reach maximum Mastery Level for the Shadow Whip.

  • Increase the Mastery Level of the Void Sword to the maximum

See the trophy Weapons Master. There are 19 of the 22 moves available for the Void Sword that can be mastered. On 'Prince of Darkness' difficulty, you can achieve maximum Mastery Level of the Void Sword by mastering 13 of these 19 moves.

  • Increase the Mastery Level of the Chaos Claws to the maximum

See the trophy Weapons Master. There are 19 of the 22 moves available for the Chaos Claws that can be mastered. On 'Prince of Darkness' difficulty, you can achieve maximum Mastery Level of the Chaos Claws by mastering 13 of these 19 moves.

  • Increase the Mastery Level of all weapons to the maximum

In this game there is a new level system for weapons called Mastery Levels. When you head into the skill menu and select a weapon, you will notice a type of skill tree. Every circle with markings is a skill. Using a skill in combat will increase your experience with that particular skill. As you use a skill more often, you will see the circle fill up with red coloring. You will also see the amount of mastery you have acquired with that skill. When you have mastered a skill 100%, the circle filled entirely with red, then you will have the option to transfer the mastery of that skill to the overall mastery of the weapon. All weapons have a Mastery Level max of 3. Based on difficulty, the amount of mastered skills required to upgrade the mastery of the weapon varies. The amount required for each weapon on 'Prince of Darkness' difficulty is posted under each respective trophy. The best time to start farming this is during your collectible search since there are various enemies roaming the areas. One area I found very useful was the broken bridge in the Science District. There are 2 horned demons that you can farm moves with. They aren't too versatile with their attacks and they have a large amount of health that's perfect for spamming some of the stronger moves with.

  • Cook a chicken in the old style

    This trophy is missable!

When looking for the pieces of the Mirror of Fate for Trevor, you will reach the forest area in Overlook Tower where you will encounter Agreus, the brother of Pan from the first game. Take note of the bird that grabs and flies away with the piece of the mirror. After the stealth section with Agreus, you will take the elevator up and find the bird watching over the piece of the Mirror of Fate. Simply activate your Chaos Claws and fire a Chaos Bomb at it. It will become a roasted chicken and will net you this trophy along with 1000 experience points. If you do not have any magic there is a magic font nearby where you can absorb some energy.

  • Gain a total of 10000 Experience Points

    See the trophy Veteran

  • Gain a total of 50000 Experience Points

    See the trophy Veteran

  • Gain a total of 100000 Experience Points

Experience points are acquired throughout the game in various ways. Completing Quick Time Events, killing enemies, breaking objects, and opening dungeon monuments all give you experience. To acquire this trophy you will need to gain a total of 100,000 experience throughout your playthroughs. This does not have to be on you all at once. You will most likely get this on your 'Prince of Darkness' playthrough if you are going for the platinum.

  • Complete 110% of the game

If you go to the start menu, and go to Extras, you will find the stats page that lists your completed percentage within the game. To reach 110% completion there are a few things you have to do:

    - Complete the game
    - Find all secrets (Gems, Relic upgrades, Dungeon monuments, & Kleidos pieces)
    - Acquire all artwork
    - Acquire all lore
    - Purchase all skills and upgrades
    - Achieve maximum Mastery Level for all weapons
    - Fully complete all Kleidos challenges on 'Prince of Darkness' difficulty

This will most likely be the last trophy you earn as it is sort of a semi-platinum trophy that you earn for doing everything else. Finding all gems, relic upgrades, dungeon monuments, and Kleidos pieces isn't too hard, since you can use the Dodo Egg relic to help locate them. However, you will need to keep a sharp eye out for breakable objects to acquire artwork. Don't forget to check the Chupacabras' shop for artwork, dungeon keys, and the 3 gems that he sells as they are all necessary for 110% completion. You also need to be alert in order to locate all of the lore scattered throughout the game. In Castlevania City, lore are called City Memorials, of which there are 29. They appear as a scroll glowing inside of a small altar. In Dracula's Castle, lore are called Soldier's Diaries, of which there are 24. These are found on the bodies of dead Brotherhood soldiers that glow yellow. If you are having trouble finding any of the collectibles in any of the areas in Dracula's Castle or Castlevania City, here is complete collectible guide to find all piles of sacrifices, lore, monuments, and pain boxes: Collectible Guide (Guide courtesy of 360GameTV)

DLC: Revelations

10 trophies

  • Complete "Revelations" at "Prince of Darkness" difficulty

To unlock 'Prince of Darkness' difficulty, you must complete the game on one of the three available difficulties from the start. There is 'Twilight Knight' (Easy), 'Creature of the Night' (Normal), or 'Lord of Shadow' (Hard). After beating the game once, go to the menu and select New Game+. This will start a new game on 'Prince of Darkness' (Very Hard) with all your collectibles and experience intact. Honestly, this difficulty is a joke in this content. This DLC is very generous with magic more than the main game was, as there are more magic fonts available to you, and there are also few enemy encounters. If you are somehow struggling, here are some tips:

    - Remember your relics. Relics from the main game are still present in this DLC, with the exception of the Dragon Talisman. You have Tears of a Saint for health recovery, Ensnared Demon for when you need a lot of magic in a pinch, and Seal of Alastor for temporary full power. Remember to use them if you feel the need.

    - Make use of Igneas and Glaciem. As I mentioned before, this content is very generous with magic fonts. So use magic as you see fit. If you haven't noticed, hitting an opponent rapidly with Glaciem equipped will freeze them allowing you to take them out easier. If you have the
(Hold) and (Hold) specials then use those as they are extremely overpowered.

    - Know how to dodge. Simply going all offensive is not an effective method to use. If you know how to dodge and synchronize block, you can take out the bosses faster, as well as maintain good health through your run. • Find all the Secret Boxesand Soldiers' Diaries in "Revelations"

In Revelations there are a total of 23 collectibles. There are 5 Life Boxes, 5 Igneas Boxes, 5 Glaciem Boxes, and 8 Soldiers' Diaries. Dodo Eggs are still available in this DLC so use them if you wish, but everything is easily found as long as you are vigilant. You can check the world map to see how many collectibles you are missing in each area. If you are still having trouble here is a collectible guide: Revelations Collectible Guide

  • Collect all the artwork in "Revelations"

This trophy is a bit more tedious than it was on the main game. Artwork is still obtained by smashing objects throughout the game, but this time there is no Chupacabra Shop to aid you. All artwork in this DLC is found through smashing objects. You should be continually working on this trophy throughout your 2 playthroughs. You will be given time at the end of each run to roam the castle, so look around for things to smash in order to collect more artwork if you need to. Remember to smash chairs, tables, statues, and candelabras as they may all contain artwork.

  • Acquire all the Crissaegrim's combat skills and upgrades in "Revelations"

The Crissaegrim is Alucard's only weapon throughout the story. You start out with 6 moves, 2 of which can be upgraded, but there are plenty more for you to purchase. The Crissaegrim has a total of 14 moves to purchase and a few them need to be upgraded as well. It will take a total of approximately 15,000 experience points to buy them all. You will definitely have this during your 'Prince of Darkness' playthrough since this DLC is generous with experience due to puzzles and smashable objects.

  • Increase the Mastery Level of the Crissaegrim to the maximum in "Revelations"

The mastery system in this DLC is the same as it was in the main game, however it is much easier since there is only one weapon for you to master. Mastery resets upon a new game, but since there is no completion trophy, you may choose to do this however you wish. To raise the mastery level of a weapon you must transfer enough mastery from skills first. This is done by using a skill more often during combat. It takes less mastery on lower difficulties to level up a weapon so I suggest you do this early. The Crissaegrim has a total of 20 moves, 17 of which can be mastered. Mastering about 10 of these moves on 'Creature of the Night' difficulty will net you this trophy. It will take more on 'Prince of Darkness' however.

  • Kill an enemy with the Ballroom's saw in "Revelations"

During the game you will come to a room within Overlook Tower that requires you to solve a puzzle involving a shield and a saw you recreate using Timeless Vision. That room is the ballroom. When the enemies appear, quickly use Timeless Vision to recreate the saw and you should get a kill since it takes them out with 1 hit. Make sure the enemies are standing in the path of the saw so it hits them. If you don't do this during your run through the story, don't worry as you can free roam the castle at the end and come back to this room. Enemies will still spawn in here.

  • Find "those" annoying characters from Alucard's past in "Revelations"

Those who haven't played Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate will not understand this reference. This trophy is done in the area where the jailer destroys the bridge with his bombs. You will be introduced to the Spectral Wolf form which can jump gaps easily. Jump the gap and head towards the door that is shaped like a head. You will see the door is locked so you must go around. Use your Bat Cloud form in order to navigate the climbing section. You will see a bell during your climb, take note of it. Go all the way left to the last platform until you can't go any further. The next jump should be to the inside of the head shaped door, but first look back at the bell you passed, and on top of it you will see 2 characters that were quite annoying in Mirror of Fate. Make sure the camera zooms in on them, otherwise the trophy won't unlock.
