Introduction:
Bulletstorm brings new furor to first-person shooter action thanks to its signature 'kill with skill' gameplay. The game tells the story of a futuristic confederation protected by an elite band of mercenaries: Dead Echo. When Dead Echo members Grayson Hunt and Ishi Sato learn they've been working for the wrong side, they're betrayed by their commander and exiled to the far reaches of the galaxy. In Bulletstorm, Grayson and Ishi find themselves surrounded by hordes of mutants and flesh eating gangs in an abandoned paradise. They have two objectives: get off the planet alive, and exact revenge on the man who sent them there.
Players step into the role of Grayson Hunt complete with an arsenal of over-the-top combat moves and outrageously large guns. Bulletstorm's array of distinct 'skillshots' produces unprecedented levels of frantic gameplay and yell-inducing satisfaction. The skillshot system rewards players for inciting mayhem in the most creative way possible. The more insane the skillshot, the more points players collects to upgrade their character and unlock weapons, which then allows them to execute even more creative moves and exaggerated skillshots.
Thanks to IGN for the summary
Step 1: Complete The Campaign on Very Hard:
For your road to 100% platinum simply start the Campaign on Very Hard Difficulty and play through the entire story normally. Your main goals of this playthrough are to obtain all the story related trophies and all the difficulty related trophies. The majority of the single player trophies will unlock naturally just by simply playing through the game.
While on this playthrough you should focus on destroying all the Newsbots and Electroflies in the Single Player Campaign. By doing this you'll earn the Major Malfunction and Insecticide trophies for destroying 50% of both the Newsbots and Electroflies. If you were lucky enough to find them all on your first playthrough you'll earn both the Total Malfunction and Pest Control trophies. If you happen to miss either one of them, don't worry about it because you'll be revisiting specific chapters to mop up the Single Player Campaign trophies after you completed the Campaign on Very Hard Difficulty.
As for the skillshot system that is built within the game. I recommend that you don't go for them on this playthrough. Why? It's because there will be plenty of time to go for skillshot kills but there will be some moments where you might have to go old school to get through the chapters. Although you'll end up performing over 50% of the skillshots naturally while you're playing. Just don't worry about performing all the 131 skillshots that's in game at this current moment. The complete campaign should only take you around 7-10 hours depending on your FPS skills.
Step 2: Chapter Select Clean Up On Very Easy:
Now that you completed the Campaign on Very Hard Difficulty and unlocked all the story related trophies it is time to use Chapter Select and clean up on missed Single Player Campaign trophies. If you missed your opportunity to destroy all the Newsbots and Electroflies during your first playthrough you can revisit specific chapters in the game to get them out of the way. Refer to both the Total Malfunction and Pest Control trophies for more information about their locations.
Also take care of the other miscellaneous trophies such as the two Nom Juice trophies for drinking and destroying 20 bottles of Nom Juice (which is beer). The Nom Juice trophies can both be farmed on Act 2 - Chapter 1 so please refer to both the Space Pirate and Straight Edge trophies for more information. Other miscellaneous trophies that you might have to clean up might include Pointless, Disco Inferno, Chop-Chopper, Red Barrels, No Man Left Behind, I might be late, Just one last thing, and Om Nom Nom! so please refer to the trophy guide for more information on the trophies that you're missing.
Once you have collected all the Single Player Campaign trophies. I would advise you to complete all 131 skillshots in the game. This will take about 3-6 hours to perform the ones that you didn't do naturally while playing on Very Hard Difficulty. Some of them will require luck and patience but you'll eventually perform them. You'll know if you performed a certain skillshot correctly if its name pops up flashing in a blue, red, or orange color on your screen. You can track them all from the Dropkits. Please refer to the Golden Idol trophy for more information.
Step 3: Complete Echoes Mode:
By this step you should have all the Single Player Campaign trophies and have performed all 131 skillshots in the game. Now is the time to complete the Echo Mode related trophies. Echoes mode is a "time trial" mode in Bulletstrom that places you in a level with only one single goal in mind: To score a shit-ton of points by causing total destruction by performing skillshots. This should be no problem for you since you have plenty of experience under your belt and these missions will only take you 1-3 tries each tops.
In Echo Mode you cannot run out of time, but finishing the mission as fast as possible will net you extra points. Your main goal of the missions is to finish the entire mode with 3 stars on each of the first 14 levels. You'll earn almost all Echoes related trophies just by going for the 3 stars on each of the first 14 Echoes for the Supernova trophy. So please refer to the guide for more information.
*The Online Pass*
This game has a Online Pass since it's an EA trademark title, however, you don't need to have an Online Pass to platinum this game. The Online Pass will give you 6 extra maps to play on in Echoes Mode and will make getting the 150,000 points in Echoes much easier for players. If you received one for free, then take advantage by activating it. If not, you can purchase one in the PSN Store for $9.99, but it's completely optional.
*The Gun Sonata DLC Pack*
If you have purchased the DLC content like I have done then you should know that the DLC add on will give you 2 extra missions as well as 5 more new trophies. The DLC add on scores will count towards your Stars and 150,000 points in Echoes high score as well.
Step 4: Complete Anarchy Mode Trophies and Reaching Level 65:
Anarchy Mode is a co-op team based multiplayer mode that's found in "Multiplayer" on the Main Menu. There are 5 Anarchy Mode related trophies in the game. 3 out of 5 of these trophies you can do solo by yourself. The other 2 are best done with a good partner. This can be a fun mode to play sometimes but your main goal is to reach level 65. To reach level 65 in Bulletstorm just means that you have to grind your ass off to get the Final Echo trophy. This is no fun task but thankfully it's one of the 3 Anarchy trophies you can do solo by yourself. In order to reach level 65 you must have a total of 2,000,000 points. You can see how many points you have by going to Barracks then clicking on Statistics. Refer to the guide for more information.
Step 5: Complete DLC Packs:
Players with the Gun Sonata and Blood Symphony DLC Pack can focus on completing the new trophies.

Conclusion:
I actually loved the game for the gameplay was fun and the dialog was ridiculous and yet hilarious at the same time. There are some glitches that can occur during the Campaign Mode. These glitches won't effect your trophies unlocking. There are times where your teammates will lag behind and will disappear out of that chapter while you're playing. If this happens you'll have to restart the chapter over again because your teammates are needed to progress the story. In the end, this is a worthy platinum title to add to your collections and is often overlooked due to other best selling First Person Shooter titles that are dominating the market.
