Introduction:
Welcome to Arc System works Blazblue: Calamity Trigger, This game has a total of 51 trophies which requires the use of every character and a lot of training not for just ranked matches, but for character specific trophy and a Score Attack Mode that goes beyond Hell.
If you're not a common gamer of the Fighting genre then this game could be quite a challenge for you as opposed to the veterans of 2D fighter whom are fighting against time to get all the trophies.
Breakdown:
This can all be done in any order you choose, it's all about how fast you can complete them
Practice:
It is recommended you practice the basics at the very least for a character or two before you start anything else. If you practice long enough you can also get "Your the Best! Around!" but that's highly unlikely on your first training session unless you have complete focus. There are 3 misc trophies you can earn in Training:
- Cat-a-pult
- Devil's Advocate
- This Is Important...
- Its Over 10,000!
- Activate Termination Protocol
just read the method under the guide
Story Mode:
Story Mode begins with 10/12 of the Character Stories that you can play, Once you've cleared all of them you will unlock Nu's and Hakumen's Story. Finally complete their story to unlock the True Ending Story Mode. Look under "Dun Dun DUNN!" for more info
You can have everything set to easy for this
Arcade Mode:
You can complete two tasks while in Arcade Mode
- Clear ARCADE on Hell difficulty
- Unlock Everyones Astral Finish
Get "Dante" out of the way first, you can use continues for this trophy so don't worry if it becomes to troublesome for you. Afterwards, you must clear Arcade mode with everyone with the exception of: Ragna, Nu & Rachel
Score Attack:
This will by far be the worst part in your journey to hit 100% on Blazblue. Score Attack is much harder than Hell difficulty and changing the difficulty wont affect it at all. You fight all the characters in the game, 4 of which are in their Unlimited forms. Go in using your best character, or spam Jin's easy specials to do this.
Set the versus rounds in your options to 1 and plug in another controller so when your about to lose you can save yourself by pressing start on the second controller.
Playstation Network:
Every online trophy is easily boostable, if you don't want to waste to much time then it is recommended that you find a good boosting partner. You don't have to win any matches however you need to get to level 30 and spectate 20 player matches which can easily be boosted. Also you need to play against every character and complete a couple other misc. trophies. To boost ranked matches have one person wait after clicking Custom Match and have the other search for that partner when they click Custom Match.
If you are looking for someone to boost with please refer to the following link: Trophy Boosting Thread
Clean up:
Now you can finish up any character specific trophies you didn't get during the last couple of tasks as well as any other misc. trophies in versus mode
Conclusion:
Blazblue isn't that hard of a game to hit 100% in, they are all just very time consuming which is alright since you have to get 25 hours of gameplay on it anyway. The only actual trophies to give you trouble are V13's 60 hit combo, Hakumen's 10,000 damage combo, and the god forsaken Score attack mode. Blazblue however is a fun game so you may find yourself playing even after you get 100%.
