*Glitched stats: Sometimes when you do something to unlock a Trophy, like reaching Lv. 10 or unlocking weapons, the Trophy will not unlock. Don't worry, it will unlock later: when you reach Lv. 12, it will unlock the Lv. 10 trophy. So just keep playing if this happens and everything will be fine.
Gameplay in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 resembles that of the original and is set in various environments from around the world, including the mountainous regions along the borders of Russia. Like its predecessor, Bad Company 2 features destructible environments. The system is dubbed "Destruction 2.0," and the level of destruction is extended — players can now completely collapse a building as opposed to only blowing out walls. Along with Battlefield Vietnam, Bad Company 2 is one of only two games in the Battlefield series to have blood without third-party modification. There are new vehicles in Bad Company 2, such as the UH-60 Black Hawk, a quad bike, a two-man patrol boat, a personal watercraft, an AA-gun mounted on a light tank, and a UAV helicopter controlled via computer.
The "Gold Rush" mode in the original Bad Company is referred to simply as "Rush" in Bad Company 2. The format is similar in that an attacking team must detonate explosives on a defending team's crates or destroy them with conventional weapons. The attacking team succeeds by eliminating all the crates on the map, and the defending team succeeds if the attackers are not able to eliminate the crates in the active area before their tickets are depleted. Making use of the Destruction 2.0 system, it is also possible to eliminate some of the crates by collapsing the building they are in on top of them. A smaller scale mode called "Squad Rush" has only two opposing teams of four players battle against each other with one existing crate stash. In Conquest mode, players must capture and hold more flags then their opponents to decrease the enemy supply of respawn tickets to 0. Every kill makes the enemy lose one ticket, and enemy tickets constantly decrease when a team controls more then half of the flags on the map.
In Battlefield: Bad Company 2 there are 2 kinds of Trophies, Campaign Trophies and Online Trophies.
Campaign = Offline. Most of the Trophies are related to the story, which is good. There are 2 kinds of collectable trophies in the game that you should get through playing the campaign: Satellites and Weapons. There are Trophies that involve killing 'X amount of' which are very easy and then are environment destruction trophies so make sure to inflict as much damage as you can to practically everything you come across.
You should start the campaign on Easy to make it less difficult whilst completing objectives. Also make sure to collect every new weapon that the enemy drops after dying and make sure to destroy 22 Satellites.
After finishing the game you can go back and select the last mission 'Airborne' to complete it on HARD. If you are still missing some Trophies you can select any mission you want in My Campaign and do the remaining Trophies.
Unobtainable, Server now Closed
The online Trophies are pretty easy. Most of the trophies need you to unlock a few things before you can earn them. See the guide for information. There are Rank Up Trophies and other trophies like killing and winning that you should try to get while playing. Remember always join a Squad by pressing when the loading of the round finishes and always mark any enemies by pressing to get more points.
The awards Trophies are very easy, all you need to get 50 and there is more then 150. You'll get them without trying. Just remember that every weapon and kind of vehicle have Stars (Bronze , Silver, Gold and Platinum) that count as an award. Getting them will make it easier. Just play and have fun and you will get over 50 awards somewhere between Lv. 10 and Lv. 15.
There are only 2 hard Trophies in Online, Et Tu, Brute? and Demolition Man that need luck, See the Trophy guide for more information.
NOTE: Online Trophies can not be earned in Private Matches.
See you on the Battlefield, Soldier

Onslaught DLC
Overview:
Estimated trophy difficulty:
Offline trophies: 0 (0 0 0 )
Online trophies: 8 (4 4 0 ) Unobtainable, Server now Closed
Approximate amount of time to 100%: 1 - 5 hours (dependant on squad skill).
Number of missable trophies: None
Glitched trophies: None
Notes:
1. All of these trophies are stackable for each map - completing on Hardcore will unlock both trophies for a map.
2. It's highly suggested that you attempt these maps with a full squad of 4 but if you don't have 4 friends who own BFBC2 then you can use the boosting thread to find partners: https://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/bat...-partners.html.
3. Finally, experience points earned within Onslaught do not transfer over to your multiplayer level.
Onslaught mode is a co-op mode for up to 4 players. The object of the mode is similar in that to the multiplayer mode 'Rush' - your squad must capture a group of objectives as they progress through the map, trying to complete the map in the quickest time possible, battling against the enemy AI who will use everything at their disposal to stop you.
1. Play each map on Easy: The fastest way to get the trophies is by playing through on Hardcore however I'd suggest doing a run through of each map on an easier difficulty to get to know the enemy spawns and their tactics and also to familiarise yourself with the maps - maps like Valpariso are set at night, which takes a bit of getting used to. The enemy spawns and weaponry remains the same throughout the difficulty levels so when a tank spawns in one location on Easy, it'll be in the exact same spot on Hardcore.
2: Play each map on Hardcore: If you decided to play through on Easy then now is the time to take on Hardcore. Similar to the multiplayer hardcore, the HUD is removed and you take considerably more damage but, fortunately, so do your enemies. When playing on Hardcore just take your time because you don't want to screw up at the last objective do you?
Other tips for all maps:
1. For a squad of 4 people, my suggestion would be to have 1 assault, 1 medic and 2 engineer classes, one of which using the tracer dart because you encounter quite a few vehicles across the 4 maps.
2. Take your time! There is no time limit to these missions so don't rush through it.
3. Keep any vehicles you are given repaired and alive for as long as possible. Having a tank or chopper can help secure objectives far more quickly.
4. If the flag 'ticker' stops going down or isn't moving, it means there are enemies nearby - kill them to start/restart the 'ticker'.
5. It may seem obvious but, if you're last alive, stay hidden and don't die. The number of times in public matches that I've had 3 guys go down and then watch the last guy run into the open and die at the last base is ridiculous - don't be that guy.

Battlefield: Vietnam DLC

Step one:
Play a little to get used to the DLC. I recommend being a medic, as it is the most practical and brings in the most points, with revives and medic boxes. It’s a little different to the original game’s online play. Use guns such as ak-47 ,m14 ,m10 ,ppsh ,m60 ,rpk (my personal favourite) and m40 (the only good sniper in the dlc). When you’ve got the feel of it you can start going for some of the minor trophies such as Would you kindly STFU? Or Great Balls of Fire.
Step two:
When you’re at a more intermediate level, you can start on some of the more difficult trophies. A few of the trophies are time consuming. You may be able to get some of the trophies from the very start. But, there are a few that need time to get used to the game.
Start the harder ones when you get the feel for the guns and the maps, such as Can I Go Home Now? and Doing the Rounds. At this time, you should have most of the trophies in the dlc, bar a few difficult ones mentioned on the next step.
Step 3:
There are a few trophies that will take time. Also, there are one or two that are tricky if your not decent at the online mode of BFBC2. You can be taken aback by the skill of some of the players in this game. Just Because I Can, Ecstasy of Gold and 2nd Tour of Duty are all examples of the skill you need. These take time. More experienced players shouldn’t have too much problem with these trophies however.
