Crealkllr
Overview Estimated Difficulty: 8/10 (based on Platinum Difficulty Rating - PlaystationTrophies.org) Estimated Time to platinum?: With boosting partners, 80 hours (50 hours offline, 30 Online,{less if you got good boosting partners}) Offline Trophies: 39 (33 bronze(B), 3 silver(S), 2 gold(G), and 1 Platinum ) Online Trophies: 10 (9 bronze , 1 gold ) Minimum Number of Playthroughs Required: None, just replay classes Do Cheats Affect Trophies?: No cheats Does Difficulty Affect Trophies?: Only for 3 trophies(Master Jammer Extreme, Beto Shuffler, and Zumbathon Hero) Missable Trophies: None Road Map NOTE: To platinum this game, 2 PS3 wand controllers are needed, as well as the PS3 eye. The wand is required to play. Also, most sessions take 4 minutes extra to complete (20 minute sessions actually are 24 minutes, 45 minute sessions are actually 49 minutes.) Step 1: Tutorial First step is to go through the tutorials section. Start at the beginning doing the Calypso, which will earn you “Join the party” and “Drastic dancer”. Continue down the list of tutorials, which will earn you “Calypso Crusher”, “Cumbia Cracking”, “Merengue Master”, “Regaeton Rouser”, “Salsa Sizzle”, and “Zumba Starter”. The order in which you do these doesn't matter, although each counts as 1/3 of the specific type of dance, so try to keep track or go in order. Step 2: Go through both session classes and single classes This is the main grinding step, as the average class is about 20 minutes. You will need to do a few things to work on multiple trophies. First you want to do each individual song. There is no indication on which songs you have already done, so go in order and try to keep track. After that, you will receive the "Mind-blowing Moves" trophy. Now you want to go into Zumba party and again start at the bottom, picking beginner class #1. After that class (20 min) is done, make sure it saves then go to Time and date settings (on your PS3 Xmb). You now want to change the date, going up a day (changing the date to tomorrow). Now log back into zumba and do beginner class #2. This is so you can get "Zumbatomic", playing zumba 30 days in a row. If you make a mistake and go too far ahead or behind (as far as dates) you can always backtrack and just do that day, so don't worry about it too much. You can also check the calendar to check which days you "already worked out". Keep going up the list, and you should also be unlocking different areas. Shake the controller enough to get full sync (or just to the start of the 4th tier) to get the "full sync for ____ place" trophies. After you get all the way to the end, you will unlock "Zumbathon." "Zumbathon" is the only difficulty related trophy. Just change the difficulty to get each trophy, then put it back to easy. Now you want to go into zumba classes. These are the exact same thing you did before, although what you did previously didn't count. Go through these now, starting at the bottom and going up. You should still be tricking the PS3 about what day it is, until you get that trophy, which in that case don't worry about it. Second to the last part: (you should have a majority of the trophies now) do the Zumba Attack. This is mostly local co op competition. Using 2 wands, you compete for a better score. Set one to the side, and beat it's score (should be easy) Very last thing you should go for is "You're Hooked". This is going to be a long grind, since single dances don't work for this trophy. You need to do the 20 minute classes or sessions over and over again. Just set a session, and come back in 19 minutes, set the same session again, rinse and repeat. Make sure that your ps3 doesn't over heat (it will freeze if room temp is warm) Step 3: Online The hard part about these trophies is that the online isn't that active. If you're in need of a boosting partner / group, look in the Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post!) - PlaystationTrophies.org Check the specific trophy's descriptions if you need tips to earn them. Step 4: Clean up You should have received all the trophies, if not, go look at the specific trophy requirements and try to get them. If there is any problems with a trophy, post in the forum and hopefully someone (me) will be able to answer or figure out if you're glitching/broken/etc. Edited October 2, 2020 by Terminator Moved things down a bit. Zumba attack is really player vs player local co op. You enter a song and go head to head against the second player for a better score. Just calibrate both wands, set one aside, and do your work out. It doesn't matter which player wins, because the trophy will pop after the work out. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/825/02.jpg Party Pro Win a 2P vs 2P Workout This one will be easy to do, but hard to find someone to play against. 2Player means really 2 PS3 wands. That's easy since you just need 2 wands and a single person can wave them. The hard part will be finding another “pair” to play against. The online of this game isn't really active. If people do play this, they are really exercising, rarely trophy hunters. Dance Online with 100 Different People Each time you go online, which ever mode you're playing, those people will count toward this (I think it keeps track of who you have played against). People have reported that the first 20 people don't count, but after that it doesn't seem to have any problem. This trophy sounds easy, but it is difficult as not many people (if any) play online. I would recommend using the http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/zumba-fitness/80928-trophy-boosting-thread-read-first-post.html as it will help others looking to get this trophy. Another thing you can do (if you have two Zumba games, 2 PS3s, a pair of PS eyes and wands), is to create multiple accounts, play against the other, then do it again and again till you got enough for this trophy to pop. Vyrastas
After a number of hours playing this game, I've come to the realization that it's somewhat of a piece of junk. First, having it freeze 40 minutes into a 45 minute workout is really annoying, especially when you're actually doing the workout. It has frozen on me numerous times. Second, it actually records your movement better (i.e. shows green) if you hold the Move controller in your hand rather than wearing it in that hip belt. Third, since you cannot fail it's ultimately pointless and trophies become a joke. After you get the Full Stage Progression trophies just turn off automatic controller shutoff, start up a workout and leave the controller sitting there. closertim
great guide. Anyone have any trouble unlocking zumbatron class and stadium venue trophies. I have the stadium unlocked and the zumbathon (the 60 minute workout) unlocked but no trophies. The only thing I can imagine that I've done wrong is have 2 users within the game and I unlocked it with the second user. I might have to delete save data and start again once I get all the other trophies.
