Mietepiet
Hey Guys, I'm playing zone Zeus now for the past 8 days. Keep crashing out at zone 74. But shouldn't I have gotten my trophy on this run, or am I 0.68 sec short? http://i821.photobucket.com/albums/zz133/Mietepiet/IMAGE_123.jpg
Rockets
In that pic it says zones cleared 74. That will have to say 75 if you want the trophy. I don't think 'time' has anything to do with getting this trophy.

yeldar2097
depends on how many speed pads you hit and how many barrel rolls you do
Mietepiet
ok thanx, I thought it was just fixed on 10 secs
yeldar2097
actually now that i think about it, yeah it is. pads/BRs should only affect the distance travelled. weird...
Mietepiet
may be it doesn't count the time of respawning
Dark_Phantom_89
There is a time limit between zones, something like 10 seconds. But when you reach the really high zones (60+) the gap becomes much bigger. I noticed that from Zone 60 onwards, it took me much longer to reach a new zone than when it did at the beginning. yeldar2097
nah it's 10 seconds all the time, ask ProblemSolver (he cracked zone 150 ). The gap between 'named' zones increases: Subsonic --> Mach 1 = 10 zones = 100 seconds Mach 1 --> Supersonic = 15 zones = 150 seconds

Plucker 2409
If your trying this on Anulpha Pass its pretty easy. When you get to zone 70 don't get shaking and almost drop the controller like i did. I ended up gettin to 77 all because of being calm. That's all you have to do. RageousX
It also helps to hit your lines going into the turns... the more you have to compensate with your airbrakes, the more likely you are to end up pinballing into the walls and ending your run in a hurry. Stay focused and don't crack. If you start paying attention to the zones you're in, you'll freak out at 70 and proceed to wreck your way out by 73-74. I know, already searched for the option to turn off the HUD. I guess just need a better hart surgeon. It's not skills, cause I perfect lap Mach zone many many times, but I also like to play pinball:eek:
yeldar2097
if you start pinballing/have a big crash then all you need to do is focus your eyes as far down the track as possible. parallax etc... works a treat also if you do crash into a wall at a high zone, don't compensate and slam on the airbrakes in the other direction because more often that not the zone ship will bounce off the wall anyway so you will end up having to actually steer into the wall you crashed into. This advice is adapted from advice ProblemSolver gave me (Mr 150 as i like to call him)
Mietepiet
Hey guys, I took a couple of days a break from the Zeus. Just got my trophy on my 3rd try this morning:D:D:D Thanx all for your support and keeping my head up! My final time was 12:34, so I guess that the zone change was at 12:31 instead of 12:30.
