Introduction:

Wipeout 2048 is a racing game for the PlayStation Vita and is the latest in the Wipeout series of anti-gravity racing games from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. It is a launch title for the console. The game is one of the few games of the Vita that runs on the full resolution of the screen (960 x 544). Wipeout 2048 is set in the near future, is a relative to previous games and takes place much earlier in the Wipeout timeline as the new sport of anti-gravity racing is beginning to emerge, making it a prequel. As such, dedicated racing tracks are yet to be built, and so races take place in city streets. Set in Studio Liverpool's interpretation of New York City in the near future, races are three-tiered; lower levels show off architectural details, while higher levels show off the modern, futuristic elements of the city. Tracks are also wider than previous entries, which the team hopes will allow for greater use of combat.

Road Map:

Step one: Offline Campaign

Begin with the Offline Campaign and complete all major and minor events. You will earn points and events that give you new ships to complete some events. Some events are easy if you choose the best ship for it and with the new ships, you have more chances in the Online Campaign. Do not get the ELITE PASS yet, leave it until the end.

Trophies you earn on this step:

2048 Champion (B)

2049 Champion (B)

2050 Champion (B)

2048 Elite (B)

2048 Elite 2 (B)

2048 Elite 3 (B)

2049 Elite (B)

2049 Elite 2 (B)

2049 Elite 3 (B)

2050 Elite (B)

2050 Elite 2 (B)

2050 Elite 3 (B)

Completist (S)

Step two: Online Campaign Here is where you will spend a lot of time. This campaign is so long and if you think you have to win a lot of games, you don't. Here you have to complete some objectives to complete the PASS or the ELITE PASS. Doing this you will earn you the following trophies:

Multiplayer Begins (B)

1 Down, 19 To Go (B)

50 Kills (B)

50 MP Events (S)

Halfway There (S)

Multiplayer Finished (G)

Multiplayer Completist (G)

Step three: Clean up

Here you will get any trophies you may have missed Like Rank 50 or Elite Completist and you can do Beat Zico and some other trophies. Doing that on step three is easier because you will know all the ships and the tracks.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/16.jpg Prototype (S)

There are 5 teams in the game. You unlock this events for level up your ranking. Now I can't say at what level you unlock events so I need help with that but when you reach rank 50, you will have all the events unlocked.

Teams:

- Feisar

- AG Systems

- Qirex

- Auricom

- Pir-Hana

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/17.jpg Speed Thrills (S)

ELITE PASS any A+ Class Challenge

You unlock these events when you level up your rank. For me the best event for this is Sol because you can do a lot of Barrel Rolls and win easily. You only need to get an ELITE PASS on one Challenge.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/29.jpg The unlucky 7 (S)

Destroy 7 opposition ships in any Race in the Single Player Campaign

It must be done in a Race. Best way to do it is to unlock the prototype Qirex that has a infinite gattling gun on it and then do the first challenge stage (there are no weapon pads so the enemies can't kill each other and they can't regain their health). Once you kill the last guy, the event will automatically finish and you will get an ELITE PASS straight away.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/05.jpg Completist (S)

Complete all events in the Single Player Campaign

For this you must complete all the events on the campaign, Main Events and Side Events. To count as Complete you must get a PASS and not an ELITE PASS.

There are a total of 60 events.

- 2048: 15 Events

- 2049: 20 Events

- 2050: 25 Events

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/06.jpg Elite Completist (G)

ELITE PASS every event in the Single Player Campaign

For this you must get an ELITE PASS in all the Main and Side Events.

There are a total of 60 events.

- 2048: 15 Events

- 2049: 20 Events

- 2050: 25 Events

You only need to ELITE PASS these events, all the others like Prototype events or A+ Class Challenge aren't needed.

Online Campaign

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/18.jpgMultiplayer Begins (B)

Finish an Online Multiplayer event

Simple, finish an online multiplayer event. You don't need a PASS or an ELITE PASS for this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/19.jpg 1 Down, 19 To Go (B)

Complete your first Online Multiplayer Level

In online campaign you have 20 levels with some Nodes. For this one you only have to finish one level. See Multiplayer Completist for more details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/24.jpg 50 Kills (B)

Destroy 50 ships in Online Multiplayer

For this one it's easier if you chose a Combat race. You can destroy 2 or 3 ships in a Combat race. Remember, you don't have to win the race just try to stay behind the other ships and catch a weapon to take down enemies. A good Combat Ship is the best for this, try to play with the Qirex as it's the best ship for these events.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/20.jpg 50 MP Events (S)

Finish 50 Online Multiplayer events

Simple, you only need to finish 50 online events. To finish a event you can either get a PASS OR ELITE PASS. Finish 50 online events to get the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/21.jpg Halfway There (S)

Complete 10 Online Multiplayer Levels

There are 20 levels but to get this trophy you only need to complete 10 of them. You don't have to finish all the Nodes in one level, you can come back later to complete all the Nodes. See Multiplayer Completist for more details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/22.jpg Multiplayer Finished (G)

Finish the Online Multiplayer Campaign

Complete all the 20 levels to get this trophy. See Multiplayer Completist for more details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/23.jpg Multiplayer Completist (G)

Complete all nodes in the Online Multiplayer Campaign

Here is where you gonna spend a lot of time playing. To complete all all the Nodes you must PASS or ELITE PASS all of them. You don't have to get an ELITE PASS as a PASS is enough but somtimes its easier to get an ELITE PASS rather than a standard PASS.

To get the PASS or the ELITE PASS you must finish the objectives. Some objectives are like this: Participate on a event, don't finish last, beat on opponent, destroy a ship, destroy 2 ships, etc... You have some objectives in a event. Some events you need to do 2 or 3 objects. You have 3 attempts to do that objectives, if you fail don't worry. Continue for the next Node, and come back later.

Every Node have specific objectives. The number of Nodes on the levels increases from level to level.

Level 1: 6 Nodes

Level 2: 6 Nodes

Level 3: 7 Nodes

Level 4: 7 Nodes

Level 5: 8 Nodes

Level 6: 8 Nodes

Level 7: 9 Nodes

Level 8: 9 Nodes

Level 9: 10 Nodes

Level 10: 10 Nodes

Level 11: 11 Nodes

Level 12: 11 Nodes

Level 13: 12 Nodes

Level 14: 12 Nodes

Level 15: 13 Nodes

Level 16: 13 Nodes

Level 17: 14 Nodes

Level 18: 14 Nodes

Level 19: 15 Nodes

Level 20: 15 Nodes

There are a total of 210 Nodes/Events.

Miscellaneous Trophies

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/30.jpg 2048 Speed Pads (S)

Hit a total of 2048 Speed Pads

This will come with the time. You don't have to worry about this, this comes naturally. This is very easy.

Simple just fly over Speed Pads. You can check how many you have on your profile. This carries over between the Online and Offline Campaigns.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/31.jpg Perfect Pir-hana (S)

Get a Perfect Lap in the Pir-hana Prototype, in the A Class, Unity Square, Speed Lap

For this one you need to unlock the Pir-hana prototype and do a perfect lap on the Unity Square on the A class on a Speed Lap.

I got this by using airbrakes from the beginning of the lap. I used side shifts to move away from walls and/or speed pads when it was necessary. It took me 20ish minutes to finish one lap using this method.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/25.jpg Rank 25 (S)

Reach Rank 25

See Rank 50 for more details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/28.jpg Mach 1.5 (G)

Reach Zone 65 in any Zone Event

For this one the best place its on the 2050, there are a side events on Sol where you must reach Zone 60 for ELITE PASS. Complete more 5 zones and you get the trophy.

It's easy, use the Feisar or AG Systems Agile for that.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/27.jpg Beat Zico (G)

Altima, C Class, Speed Lap, Pir-hana Speed – beat 52.00 seconds

If you beat Zico on Wipeout HD, this will be easy for you. The barrel rolls are the secret.

1st barrel roll was when leaving the shortcut near the start.

2nd barrel roll was as your heading down the huge drop

3rd was the small jump after the huge drop

4th was done by clipping the speed pad on the small hill part.

On this video the guy did 11 barrel rolls but if you do 4, you will beat the time. Take a look for tips:

Credit to xGODL1K3x for the video.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/26.jpg Rank 50 (G)

Reach Rank 50

To reach rank 50 you need to get points. For that, you need to do some things on the events. If you do get a PASS then you will get 10,000 points, If you get an ELITE PASS then you will get 2,000 but you only receive the points once per event. If you repeat an event where you already have the ELITE PASS get it again, you won't get another 20,000 points, you only get the points of that event.

You earn points in both the Online and Offline Campaigns.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1093/01.jpg This is WipEout! (P)

Obtain every Trophy in WipEout 2048

Note: I'm Portuguese and I'm sorry about the English, it isn't perfect so if you can help me then do. Thank you :).

If anyone has tips for any trophy or information then please tell me :).

Thank you! I've been looking for this guide and it has proven very useful so far.

About the Prototype ships: you unlock them every 10 levels:

- Level 10: Feisar

- Level 20: AG Systems

- etc

Also, don't worry about the English. I found it perfectly comprehensible. Good job!

Just got two gold trophies in half an hour. I beat Zico on the third try (with only three barrel rolls :p) and got to like Zone 85 on Sol on the first try. So much easier compared to WipEout HD where I'd spend days to get them. Currently level 28, but I can't get enough of this game. It's incredibly satisfying.

what ship is best for the zone events, any tips for those? Mastodon I'm pretty sure I played with you yesterday.

Its all about finding the ship for you, just make sure you pick a ship from the "Agility" range.

Auricom and AG gave me the best results. If you crash a lot though the AG is quite weak in health, the Auricom is well rounded. Feisar is also another good pick

Beating Zico..Is pathetically easy. :(

Now, i know i'm good at this game (and HD) but i didnt expect it to be that easy. On HD it took me about 100 laps to do, this took me .. 4. Yes, 4. 1 to get used to the track, 2 were 0.1-3 off, and then i got a 51.78 on a lap i hit the wall on.

I wanted a challenge with this game.

Hey, you should definitely update the description for:

Perfect Pir-hana - You unlock the Pirhana prototype at rank 50, its the last vehicle you unlock. Some tips would also be nice, like the tunnel at the start of the track would always mess me up! Its also worth mentioning that the Pirhana prototype has auto acceleration. I was thinking ok i will just take the track super slow but nope you cant slow it down. Air brakes are a must! To handle the tunnel hold forward as your going through to dive down. (Avoiding the roof.)

Ahhh, I knew there had to be a catch to this trophy. I just figured you could take it super slow for a lap and it wouldn't be a problem.

I like the online in this, but the campaign is so long. Not looking forward to the pass requirements later on.

How far are you? They dont get that much worse really.

There are a ton of "Finish 1st" requirements but for most you only need to simply hit an opponent then come first for it to count. Even if your not the best player you are guaranteed to get lucky in Combat every now and again! Ive won a game in under 20 seconds because i got 3 waves back to back! :p

I never really noticed them getting harder, i think its because you get better the more you play so it doesnt seem so bad.
