Roadmap

Introduction:
Winter Sports 2010 is about… yes you’ve guessed it… Winter Sports! Become an athletic legend in the career mode, or have fun completing challenges in challenge mode. This game is really about learning the buttons, there isn’t really that much skill involved. It’s quite fun but a bit cheap.

Special thanks to HTH70HTH, who let me use his fantastic videos in this guide!

Steps:

Step 1: Go through all the challenges (apart from ones you can miss), because the later challenges will only unlock if you complete the ones before it. Win all the challenges needed to get all the challenge related trophies, (31 challenge trophies). For the challenges you can miss out see the ‘tips’ section.

Step 2: Start a career, and win all 16 cups to get all the cup related trophies.

Tips:
-If you want to practice, on the main menu select Single discipline, then choose which discipline you want to play.
-If you can’t remember the controls for the discipline, press and look at the tutorial.
-Always get a perfect or good start.
-There are a total of 44 challenges, but you can miss out: Biathlon Gold Rush 1; Snowboard Gold Rush 1; Snowboard Trickser 1; Biathlon Jet 2; Bobsled Bone Breaker 1; Downhill Gold Rush 1; and still get all the trophies.
-If you don’t get a gold or silver medal on the first discipline of a cup, I would give up, then cancel cup, then restart it.
-Remember to spend your points on upgrades or talent, in Career.
-For Biathlon take time shooting and hit all targets, and save your adrenaline for the climbs.
-For Figure Skating all you need to do is just hit every button, try to get in time too. This is probably the easiest discipline!
-For Snowboard Cross just make sure you ride in between all the flags, and perform frontflips as these are quicker ( + )!
-For Downhill Skiing make sure you ride in between all the flags, and use adrenaline on the straights.
-For Ski Flying try to go when there is no wind, then get a perfect jump by pushing up on , then land by pushing down on and get as close to the ground as possible before you push down.
-For Shorttrack use the slipstream by staying behind until 3 laps to go, you should have a full bar of adrenaline to use by then. Use slipstream to get 1st, then use adrenaline to hold the lead.
-For Freeride Skiing use ramps to do tricks, then use adrenaline in between ramps. When you have a lot of adrenaline that will be enough to last until the next ramp, push down on , because this saves a bit of time.
-For Bobsled keep to the racing line, and use adrenaline on the straights; also don’t hit the sides.
-All trophies pop after you cross the finish line.
-I have posted videos for the really hard ones, but if you have problems with any others just visit HTH70HTH’s channel for more help.

Challenge Trophies

Bronze Challenge Trophies

Biathlon Jet 1
Win the Biathlon Jet 1 Challenge.
This challenge is extremely easy. For this you have to stay below 1:15 minutes. Just use all the boosts, and hit all 5 targets, so you don’t get a penalty.

Freeride Jet 1
Win the Freeride Jet 1 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy. You have to finish under 1:25 minutes. My advice is to do a few tricks, but mainly use boosts. Do use adrenaline when there are no boosts though.

Biathlon Gold Rush 2
Win the Biathlon Gold Rush 2 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy. You have to collect at least 24 coins on the run under 2:30 minutes. There are a total of 26 coins scattered on the course. Get no penalties on the shooting, and save your adrenaline for the hills. This should cause no problem.

Bobsled Boss 1
Win the Bobsled Boss 1 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy. You can identify which challenges are bosses because they will have a laurel wreath around them. For this you must beat the best bob pilot in the world. Just stick to the arrowed path, and use adrenaline on straights.

Snowboard Gold Rush 2
Win the Snowboard Gold Rush 2 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy, but frustrating if you miss some coins. For this you need to collect 40 coins, whilst finishing under 2:00 minutes. Just go quite slow collecting coins along the way, but use adrenaline when the bar is full. Tricks aren’t as important in this challenge.

Freeride Gold Rush 1
Win the Freeride Gold Rush 1 Challenge.
This challenge is really difficult, and frustrating if you miss some coins. You have to collect 40 coins and finish under 1:45 minutes to complete this challenge. You can slow it down a bit, but don’t miss many coins!

Downhill Jet 1
Win the Downhill Jet 1 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy. You have to finish under 1:35 minutes. Just use the boosts, but remember to choose carefully, some throw you off course or outside the flags.

Biathlon Bone Breaker 2
Win the Biathlon Bone Breaker 2 Challenge.
This challenge is really easy. You must finish under 2:40 minutes, and hit a maximum of 3 skulls. My advice is again, perfect shooting, and save adrenaline for the hills.

Bobsled Jet 1
Win the Bobsled Jet 1 Challenge.
This challenge is extremely easy. You have to finish under 53 seconds. Anyway, just hit most of the boosts, then you should be able to complete it easily.

Bobsled Gold Rush 2
Win the Bobsled Gold Rush 2 Challenge.
This challenge is extremely easy. You have to collect at least 85 coins, and finish under 1:15 minutes. My advice is to again, just stay to the racing line when you can, use adrenaline on the straights, and go for all the coins!

Snowboard Trickser 2
Win the Snowboard Trickser 2 Challenge.
This challenge is extremely easy. You have to perform 13 tricks in this challenge. Fairly obvious, just press at every ramp.

Snowboard Jet 2
Win the Snowboard Jet 2 Challenge.
This challenge is extremely easy. For this challenge, you must finish under 1:45 minutes. Just hit all the boosts, and it is plain sailing.

Snowboard Bone Breaker 2
Win the Snowboard Bone Breaker 2 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy. To complete this challenge, you have to finish under 2:00 minutes, and hit no more than 8 skulls. Just try to avoid the skulls, you can slow down a bit, and still finish in time.

Downhill Jet 2
Win the Downhill Jet 2 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy. You must finish under 1:45 minutes to complete this challenge. Normally, I would say hit all the boosts, but on this track, they can throw you off course, so be selective. Also, concentrate on avoiding penalties.

Biathlon Boss 2
Win the Biathlon Boss 2 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy. You can identify which challenges are bosses because they will have a laurel wreath around them. You have to beat the best biathlete on one of the most demanding tracks in the world. My advice is to again, get a perfect on shooting, and preserve your adrenaline for the hills.

Freeride Gold Rush 2
Win the Freeride Gold Rush 2 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy. You have to collect at least 40 coins, and finish under 1:55 minutes. There is a ton of coins scattered on the course. Just keep your speed up, and follow the paths that have a long string of coins.

Freeride Trickser 2
Win the Freeride Trickser 2 Challenge.
This challenge is extremely easy. You must perform at least 20 tricks in the race. As simple as Snowboard Trickser 2 was, just press on every ramp again.

Freeride Bone Breaker 2
Win the Freeride Bone Breaker 2 Challenge.
This challenge is really easy. You must finish under 2 minutes, and hit no more than 6 skulls. My advice is to do a lot of tricks, and use adrenaline often. It should be really easy.

Bobsled Bone Breaker 2
Win the Bobsled Bone Breaker 2 Challenge.
This challenge is really easy. You have to finish under 1:15 minutes, and hit no more than 5 skulls. Try to stick to the racing line, but dodge skulls obviously. Use adrenaline on the straights. Funnily enough I have never hit a skull on this challenge, and I thought I hit a couple.

Bobsled Jet 2
Win the Bobsled Jet 2 Challenge.
This challenge is extremely easy. Finish under 1 minute. Just keep to the line, hit all boosts and use adrenaline on the straights; you’ll be fine.

Downhill Bone Breaker 2
Win the Downhill Bone Breaker 2 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy. You must finish under 2 minutes, and hit no more than 5 skulls. Just avoid the skulls again, but don’t go too fast, otherwise you’ll get penalties or crash.

Silver Challenge Trophies

Snowboard Boss 1
Win the Snowboard Boss 1 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy. You can identify which challenges are bosses because they will have a laurel wreath around them. You have to beat the best snowboarder in the world in this one. My advice is to try to do as many tricks as you can, because this gives you adrenaline, which in turn gives you speed! Front flips are best to do because it doesn’t take long to perform, but make sure you have a big jump first. ( + ).

Downhill Boss 1
Win the Downhill Boss 1 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy. You can identify which challenges are bosses because they will have a laurel wreath around them. You have to beat the best downhill skier in the world for this. My advice for this boss is to make sure you get through all flags so you don’t get a penalty; and remember to use your adrenaline wisely!

Biathlon Boss 1
Win the Biathlon Boss 1 Challenge.
This challenge is really easy. You can identify which challenges are bosses because they will have a laurel wreath around them. You have to beat the best biathlete in the world in this one. My advice for this is to make sure you hit all 5 targets so you don’t get a penalty. Also, remember to preserve your adrenaline for the hills. Then you should win easily.

Freeride Boss 1
Win the Freeride Boss 1 Challenge.
This challenge is extremely easy. You can identify which challenges are bosses because they will have a laurel wreath around them. You have to beat the best freerider in the world. My advice is to just do tricks most ramps, then use adrenaline straight away.

Bobsled Boss 2
Win the Bobsled Boss 2 Challenge.
This challenge is really hard. You can identify which challenges are bosses because they will have a laurel wreath around them. You must beat the best bob pilot in the world on the hardest run in the world. Just stick to the racing line, and use adrenaline on the straights, like normal. It’s key to not hit the sides on this challenge.

Downhill Boss 2
Win the Downhill Boss 2 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy. You can identify which challenges are bosses because they will have a laurel wreath around them. You must beat the best downhill skier on one of the fastest ski runs in the world. Don’t crash, or get any penalties, or you will never catch up. Slow and steady, then use adrenaline on the straights.

Freeride Boss 2
Win the Freeride Boss 2 Challenge.
This challenge is quite easy. You can identify which challenges are bosses because they will have a laurel wreath around them. You have to beat the best freerider, on one of the fastest tracks in the world. Just use all adrenaline often. Also, miss some of the ramps to gain speed.

Snowboard Bone Breaker 1
Win the Snowboard Bone Breaker 1 Challenge.
This challenge is really hard. You have to finish the race under 1:30 minutes, and hit a maximum of 3 skulls. The time is key here. Concentrate on using adrenaline and doing tricks.

Freeride Jet 2
Win the Freeride Jet 2 Challenge.
This challenge is extremely hard! You must finish under 1:30 minutes. My advice is to hit only some of the boosts, and use adrenaline all the time. You must be super quick. Use ramps to do tricks, then use adrenaline in between ramps. When you have a lot of adrenaline that will be enough to last until the next ramp, push down on , because this saves a bit of time. Take the left path at the end, avoiding the trees.

Gold Challenge Trophies

Snowboard Boss 2
Win the Snowboard Boss 2 Challenge.
This challenge is extremely hard! You can identify which challenges are bosses because they will have a laurel wreath around them. It’s the last challenge! You have to beat the best snowboarder on one of the hardest tracks in the world. Make sure you ride in between all the flags, and perform frontflips as these are the quickest tricks ( + )! Use adrenaline on the straights, and miss some of the ramps when you have a lot of adrenaline.
