Combos for all classes

Seeing as we don't have a depository for all class combos, I decided to put together one thread for all optimal combos for several different class builds. These have been tested and are used regularly by many friends in the community and myself. Hours of testing, pages of notes, and many KOD3 Ice Dragons were killed solo over time testing combos. :)

Most of thse combos are optimized for end-game gear with appropriate stat builds listed below. But many can also be used with lower-GR equipment. Some may not combo complete without GR12 weapons or a full +10 elemental upgrade. However the combos that require a full +10 full elemental upgrade are listed and generally are superior to other combos that use the same amount of AC. An example of such is the 3AC Longsword combo below.

Generally I don't use more than 3-4AC but there are some higher ones like 6AC elemental bow that are excellent returns. Obviously the choice is yours, test them out yourself!

I have been wondering about this for a while. Do people just use those 11AC Bow combos to mindfuck you? I see no merit in using it unless you have too many ACs lying around.

When it came to Black Knaves I always used the elemental bolt combos because of strike.

I actually used that 11ac once when I was bow and we glitched Mercenary Force 2 for fun where you get two pyros and two black knaves, and we did complete it! With optimal GR15 gear that combo can practically bring down a Black Knave on its own.

So while its fun and not normally used because elemental 5-6ac bolt combos are the most optimal to Black Knaves when it comes to damage-to-AC ratio. It certainly had its use that day.

On the above mentioned skills for LS combos is there anything i need besides Demons Aura and Placid Heart? Im just trying to maximize my final build. Im currently on my fourth rebirth any imput would be appericatied.

Also im trying to decide on my second Class, so any info on what works well with LS would be nice. Thinking either bow or spear.

Since Placid Heart is one of the longsword skills near the end to unlock with points you should have everything you need for the combos by that point. Skills you can easily skip are the thrust moves and elemental moves since you will never use those as they are not in any of the optimal combos.

You will want all the possible AGI, STR, DEX passives you can get from every tree for longsword. If you are doing spear and/or bow, you'll definitely want all the DEX possible.

For bow, get all DEX and INT. For Spear, all VIT passives as well. Both will work with longsword no problem!

In-fact you can realistically put together up to four optimal class builds after your forth rebirth. Before I went Short Sword/Melee Mage only, I had Shortsword/Axe/Bow/Spear and I was able to get all the above skills. So after you decide on your second class, you could use more points to add another class if you finished all the stars for the trophy.

You'll just have to make some decisions to pass up some unnecessary skills and bonuses like SPR for those builds. With Shortsword for example you can actually get away with just 29% of the tree as the combos above are moves that can be unlocked with just a little amount of skill points.

Thanks for the help, currently i think i have a build im happy with. It took me about 5 or 6 save reloads but i happy with it for now. I have all of my STR, DEX, AGI, and VIT modifers now. Also all HP ups and most of the MP ups. Currently my final build is at lvl 44 with:

LS at 72% with mentioned skills above

Spear at 62% was thinking about a couple of more skills like Dark Thrust

Divine at 75% I need my healing im not really Tanking kinda of person. Plus when im in a group i can heal those who refuse to heal themselves.

Just one more question, skills like Ascenion are they worth adding or just stick with the skills i have for my combos? I have about 24 points left so im just trying to figure out what im going to need and whats just junk.(like Deadly Fang)

Yeah that looks good. I was around 75% divine in the last build as I wasn't going around soloing stuff, plus Heal III+ and Raise+ are just never needed as I never played with anyone outside of friends at the time.

Ascenion isn't totally worth it considering the AC cost to damage ratio. In my experience I would always side on getting another aerial move aside from just Shooting Star that way you can at least have a full aerial combo for any possible dire situation in say Miner Problem II. I also always got the tanking skills even though I wasn't often tanking but there would be the days we just wanted one for that quest.

sorta curious why i didn't see any Short Sword combos with Moonslash in them. even from very early on it is a absolute beast of a move to use. i tend to stay away from 5ac combos if possible (although i do have one) but moonslash has its place in that combo.

Lunging Slash > Slash > Moonslash > Rising Slash > Crescent Moon

The issue is that Moonslash is 2AC and its an AGI-only skill. During late GR levels it really doesn't have much use as most will always have an AGI/STR focused armor set. So the damage-to-AC ratio you'll get with that combo will not compare to the standard 3AC.

When it comes to AGI-only skills outside of combos for short sword the best move is Rising Slash. That is if one stacks AGI-focused gear.

but i still feel that it is a incredibly powerful attack and does have some merit. maybe thats just me.
