hmm hard to say, I've started the game on hard first and was in Glory but then I realized it was wrongand sometimes difficult so I switched to easy to get good gear.

Anyways I started on march 17 and was done on march 25 and played probably 4-5 hrs a day + almost whole weekend so I guess 40-50 hrs is good estimate time.

Just start first on easy and don't bother with your weak character on hard.

Sorry for my english, I'm german

I believe this is it:

Secondary Objectives :

1. Keep the life of the Ram above 50% (If you use the combo X+X+Y, the soldiers will not have the time to attack the ram but beware of the archers).

2. Kill Eetion in less that 1 minutes (Use only Y and use the Fury mode).

After you complete the story, play his level on expert to unlock the item.

Help...

Ajax mission "Renown" ... how do I get the 3rd unique item?

Keep the ram above 80% on expert. The final gate was problematic. The enemies would damage the ram with their attacks even if they were not targeting it. You need to keep them away.

Quickly go the archers on the northeast side of the building and get close enough so that they put away their bows. Then head back the group on the west and hit them with a square square tri combo to get their attention. Move over towards the third group, and at this point you'll have drawn most of the enemies away from the ram. The two hunters need to be kept as far away from the ram as possible. Take them out fast.

My Ram Technique:

Start by running to the right side of the ram and head to the edge of the building. Turn left and intercept the archers while around the corner. Make them draw swords, and hit them with a quick attack. Quickly run back to the ram and clear out any solders standing next to it on the left side of the ram. Only use 1-2 atatcks though. Then go back to the right side and do the same. The trick with the ram is to never spend too much time on any one side. Make a circle where you attack: left, the right, then left...repeat until all enemies are done. Use fury to make short work of the special units.

I recommend spaming :square::square::triangle: for all of Ajax's attacks on this stage. If the ram takes any damage, you can just reset to checkpoint.

I did this on expert and had 100% ram health...

I believe this is it:

After you complete the story, play his level on expert to unlock the item.

Unique item 1 = complete all secondary quests on any diffculty.

Unique item 2 = complete all secondary quests on Expert diffculty.

Keep the ram above 80% on expert.

You are 100% correct.

Unique Item 3 = specific to a stage, instructions can be found in the item shop by selecting any ???? item, after you have completed the game once. The details for Renown are just as posted above.

alrighty for ajax's stage where you have to escort agammemnon, how the hell do you pull that off.

also what are some great items to take with you to do the arena challenges?

i like using the hippolyte item (restore health when you do fury)

With Ajax, equip the item that reduces damage to escorted allies. Then beef up his strong attack stats. Start stage by running to him as fast as possible, and clear out local baddies. Then run ahead of him and spam :square::square::triangle: as much as you want. this move runs Ajax around and clears out baddies while Ajax does a sort of airplane imintation. If you get surrounded, fight each direction once, then move to teh next, making a circle around your ally. if you spend too much time on any one group, the others move in to hurt him. Only worry about baddies right next to him as priority 1, then take out whoever is closest, starting with named solders.

As for challenegs - wait until you beat the game on Expert. Until then they are very challeneging. if you have completed all of the secondary quests on expert, the items you get make the challenges a joke. Way too easy...

  • 1 month later...
  • 2 weeks later...

Best advice is to restart from checkpoint and change your items. Max out quick and strong attacks, duel damage, and perfect damage. Fight the battle and use a lot of stun attacks to open his guard up and counters to his attacks. Keep your atatck strings short and nail perfect attacks whenever you can. When enemy is in last 1/3 or so of life bar, use your fury and go all out.

If you do not get it within the timer at all, just keep resetting to checkpoint (even during cutscene). Try out ther item combinations to see fi they fit your play style better.

I beat him. I ended up buying some new accessories. Love the Fury lasts twice as long one. Very handy! I think I have 5 more missions on expert. The 3rd unique items scare me though. i have.... 2 of em that I randomly got. But anytime its, "Win a fight without taking damage." That is no fun.

Beat game on expert = all fears will go away...

I see that now. hahaha. Not i just need to get miss kleos. What is the best level to do that on? then everything else is just playing the other difficulties/buying items.

1. Please refer to the trophy guide next time @_@ I'll post the strategy here:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/884/41.jpg Miss Kleos (B)(H)

Achieve 350 kleos with Penthesila during a chapter.

Do after your Expert play through. I recommend the chapter Justice.[spoiler=jaws6]Once you get past the duel with the special enemies in the river, run to the right after the river ends. In the two alcoves on the right side of the village you get for the secondary quest, the left one has a 250 kleo blessing. You need to lure over the village troops so that when you grab the blessing you can get to the troops before it subsides. Then activate your fury and land perfect atatcks. Use items that: make you invulnerable when in fury, kleos counter does not reset on being hit, all attacks are perfect, slow fury reduction rate.

2. If the blessing method is too much trouble, try equipping Orb of Ouranos (no kleos reset when hit), Armor of Hephastus, the "Spear" that doubles kleos, start up Justice fill up your Fury and go to work on the groups of enemies near the beginning of the river. The kleos cheat may also help, especially with Armor of Heph. Your offensive stats should be minimal to avoid killing too quickly.

I have to say, I foolishly tried to get the Miss Kleo trophy soooo many times early in the game. I explored every level, always thnking there was some trick to it, some level better suited for it, or maybe I just wasn't very good at the game. I kept trying to practice that Justice level after I first found it on play through 1, and kept getting close....but not there.

Then I beat the game on expert, unlocked many of the items, and laughed at myself  for ever trying it any other way. The items you get from Expert make this game a cake walk and a joke (but in a fun way mind you). Miss Kleo was a breeze after this... It still was one of teh last trophies I got though ;).

I did this with many of the trophies and 3rd unquies as well. Got them the hard way, then discovered how infinitely easier they all are after expert... Best example is the nightfall chapter. After infinite ammo chat- sooooo easy. Before that, I was actually drawing maps of the guard's routes and timing them. I am very silly. :D
