dividedbyn1ght
http://playstationlifestyle.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/ciel-no-surge-feature-face.jpg Gust, the developer behind series such as Atelier, Ar Tonelico, and Mana Khemia, has revealed plans to release its first PlayStation Vita game. Entitled Surge Concerto: Ciel no Surge, the people at Gust chose the Vita as the platform because it’s the platform that best fits their vision. For example, they like the Vita’s 3G connectivity, because they like players being able to always connect and look at their characters. Unconfirmed rumors have it that this might even be an online-only title, as the most recent Famitsu magazine has listed it as such. It won't let me link the pictures they have posted so here's the link for it Atelier Developer Making Vita Game | PlayStation LifeStyle Official Japanese Game website http://surge-concerto.com/ciel/flash/index.htm
Shuffle
This game is also going to be directed from the same person who directed the Ar tonelico series which is why this game Almost seems like Ar tonelico's successor. The reason I say that is because Song Magic, planet being called La Ciel instead of Ar Ciel like in Ar tonelico, big towers that are more than just towers, the Diving system, and just almost everything about it. Some pics I posted in another website http://gematsu.com/gallery/cache/surge-concerto-ciel-no-surge/january-29-2012/Surge-Concerto-Ciel-no-Surge_2012_01-29-12_004.jpg_600.jpg http://www.japanator.com/elephant/ul/21694-620x-Sarge-Concerto-Dengeki.jpg http://gematsu.com/gallery/cache/surge-concerto-ciel-no-surge/january-29-2012/Surge-Concerto-Ciel-no-Surge_2012_01-29-12_010.jpg_600.jpg http://www.sonypsvitablog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Ciel-nosurge_1_0009.jpg http://www.japanator.com/elephant/ul/21765-620x-Ciel8.jpg Edited February 7, 2012 by Shuffle

stgermain
It does look like it could potentially be Ar tonelico's successor, since that series is now over. I wonder if this gets localized, since Tecmo Koei bought Gust. I guess Tecmo Koei will handle publishing in the States instead of NISA.

Shuffle
Reminiscent of Ar tonelico players will dive into Ion's mind, which is a world of its own. As a symbol of Ion's broken heart, the dream world is in ruins. Players will have to repair it with the help of a fairy to restore Ion's memories. She can recall recipes to use in the real world while interacting with the player. In the beginning of the game, Ion makes friends with three neighborhood kids – Tabo, Plum, and Cass. Gust will release free and paid downloadable content for Ciel no Surge. Clothes and extra scenarios will cost money while new motions and voices for the communication part will be free. Ciel no Surge comes out on April 26. http://www.siliconera.com/2012/02/27/the-ruined-world-in-ciel-no-surges-heroines-mind/ Edited February 27, 2012 by Shuffle
Blood_Runs_Cold
Well, it's always great to see original RPG s coming to the vita (instead of previously released ports) but none of this matters if we don't hurry up and GET SOMETHING!!! My vita is shaking like Christian Slater at a New Years Eve coke party for some rpg's:eek: Since it doesn't do PS1 games without remote play, oh well. There are planty on the PS3 to keep me going till then. Great news guys! I really look forward to this new gust title!

Well there's a Disgaea 3 port coming in April if that counts along with Tales of Innocence R and Ragnarok which are already out in Japan along with a couple of others. Persona 4 is coming to the Vita as well.

Persona 4 is coming to the Vita as well. Yeah, I'llbe picking up Diagaea 3 just to support Nis, but I'm still on the fence about importing either Ragnorok or Innocence at the moment. I guess Neptune and Tales on the PS3 will keep me busy for a good while.

Shuffle
Good news, the Vita really needs some fresh RPGs. To be honest with you, I don't even know if this is even classified as a RPG or not and even if it is, what kind of battle system it is or how the RPG gameplay looks. So, i'm going to say it's an Adventure Simulation.

Finnroth
Too bad, it will probably never see the light of day on the other side of the pond :/ It's seriously about time for memory chips for the brain to skip the hassle of learning those goddamn languages from scratch every time xD

Maybe it won't be a retail release like in Japan, but at least be available on PSN Store in America.
