Introduction

Uno is a classic card playing game where there are 4 sets of colours to choose from and you can only put down a card with the same colour or number. It is simple but in this PSN game it does get hard.

Walkthrough

STEP 1 - Offline Trophies

The first thing that you will want to do is to create your character and start the tournament. You have the chance to get all of the single player trophies in here and with a bit of luck you will. Instead of starting a new tournament after the 15 rounds are up, you can carry on playing the 15th round over and over. Do this until you get '5000 points!' trophy and any other ones you missed out.

STEP 2 - Online Trophies

Now you want to go online for the rest of the trophies. Go and create a non-ranked match and invite anyone who is on your friends list (online/offline) to join your in playing Uno. They do not have to accept.

STEP 3 - Top 50

The Grind. Now just play online until you get into the Top 50 on the leaderboards. The game doesn't have that many people playing online and also has the problem that you will only be matched with people who are near the same amount of points as you on online games. Just keep playing until you find someone. Playing against the AI only doesn't count as points in Ranked. This trophy will be a grind, getting to the Top 50 will be damn near impossible nowadays - Updated 10/4/2013

Problems

One of the trophies that many people will have a problem with is getting into the Top 50. As long as the servers are open, that trophy will keep increasing the time it takes to earn 100% on the game.

Conclusion

In conclusion, you will find this game very difficult online and it can get very irritating at times due to the fact the game relies heavily on you being lucky with your cards. Achieving all of the offline trophies requires little to none skill but you will be grinding out to get into the top 50 and it will get harder to do as time goes on.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/01.jpg(B) 10 times Wild Draw Four

When you use the Wild Draw Four Card 10 times in tournament.

The Wild Draw Four card appears in your deck less regularly than the rest of the cards so you may only get 1 of them in a game. You will get this most likely in the 15 or if not just keep replaying the 15th game until you get this trophy. This card can be played everytime it is your turn, no matter what the card just played was.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/02.jpg (B) 2 times Wild card in a game

When you use the Wild Card 2 times in a round in tournament.

This trophy requires you to get and use the wild card twice in a single round. You could be lucky but you are more likely to get it when more rules are added and more people join because the games tend to last longer then, giving you more chance of playing the wild card twice.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/03.jpg(B) Win 10 matches

When you win a total of 10 matches in tournament.

Good tip here is to always play on easy. During the earlier games in the tournament you are more likely to win even if you are no good at it. The tournament has 15 matches with the option to play the last one over again if you feel the need. If you still haven't got this trophy in the amount of games just keep replaying the 15 match. It will be hard and mostly down to luck if you get to that situation.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/04.jpg(B) Challenge UNO

When you successfully catch someone forgetting to call UNO in tournament.

This trophy can be earned easily in your first round playing Uno. Look out for people who are on two cards and if they play. A little icon with R1 saying 'Challenge Uno' will appear if they didn't call Uno before they put down the card so quickly press it to make them draw 2 cards.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/05.jpg(B) First UNO

When you first call UNO in tournament.

This is the same sort of style as above but instead of challenging someone, you need to be the one on two cards about to play one of them. Again the game is helpful when reminding you and a triangle icon will appear telling you to call Uno. Do it then put down the card.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/06.jpg(B) First win

When you first win a round for the first time in tournament.

Another easy trophy. You can get this in your first round playing Uno in tournament play because the AI is dumb there and there are also less people and rules to worry about.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/07.jpg(B) Challenge Wild Draw Four

When you successfully challenge an illegal use of a Wild Draw Four Card in tournament.

A Wild Draw Four card causes the next player to draw four cards and forfeit his or her turn. Play this card only when you have no card of the color previously played. This is one of the harder trophies but if you know what you have to do then it is simple. If you have little to none cards in your deck and the person who played the Wild Draw Four card has loads he is probably using it to his/her advantage and forcing you to challenge or draw more cards for your deck. If they draw a card before the draw the Wild Draw Four card then they aren't using at an advantage.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/08.jpg(B) Finish 10 games

When you complete 10 rounds (win or lose) in tournament.

This will come whilst playing the tournament. There are 15 rounds so there is nothing to worry about with this trophy, it will come whilst getting others.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/09.jpg (B) 5,000 points!

When you reach 5,000 points in tournament play.

After playing the 15 rounds you will definately not have this trophy but you will get the option to replay the 15th round again and again keeping your score from the tournament. So just keep playing the last round until you get this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/11.jpg(B) Play online

First time you play a round online.

Go online and get into a game. It will pop up as soon as the round begins. This can be done on ranked or non-ranked games.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/12.jpg(B) Invite your friend

First time you invite your friend to play with you.

Send an invite to someone. It can be anyone and they don't have to be online or playing the game.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/13.jpg(B) Win 10 games online

Win 10 online UNO rounds.

This requires you to win 10 rounds of Uno online. The games can be non-ranked or ranked so you are able to boost with a friend if you are having trouble winning.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/14.jpg(B) Play 50 games online

Play 50 online UNO rounds.

For this trophy you only have to play the round, win or lose. It can be done on both ranked and non-ranked games and can also be boosted.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/10.jpg(S) Win game without drawing cards

When you win a round without drawing any cards in tournament.

You are likely to get this playing the easier games at the start of the tournament. Try it on the first match and keep retrying if you are forced into picking up a card from the pile. Be tactical and if you get a Wild Draw Four card save it until it is necessary.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/236/15.jpg Top 50 in the world (G)

Check the leaderboard when in the TOP 50.

One of the most daunting trophies that I have ever seen, this trophy will become more harder to achieve as more people get into the top 50. You can only get points on ranked and playing against a human opponent. It may be boosted if you and your partner are on the same level of points and can get in a match together. Excellent trophy, really well done and detailed.

One problem though, 10hrs is way too short. It would be 10 hrs when released. Realistically it should be 50hrs.

This is because of 3 things:

1) If you can get into game (weakening online community)

2) If you can win the online game (I played 6 games and still didn't win)

3) Top 50 leaderboard is increasing everyday

The total time is completely debatable if you ask me....it depends where you are. :(

Agree with previous poster, very good guide but a bit on the low side on the hours. I got it in about 15 hours and I started the second day after release.

Well I'll take your word for it. My friend got it within 10 hours but that was really early on in the games release so I can understand it being different now.

I still think its around 30hrs at least. The community has lit up all of a sudden which will help a lot of people out.

It seems as though, the more points you gain, the better chance you have of finding someone as everyone is aiming to be in the top 50.

I wonder why the 2 guys at the top are trying to set such a high achievement....I mean who wants to get 55,000 points online in Uno lol?

10 Online wins / 50 Online matches - does there have to be at least one person in the match for it to count or can you go against bots? Seems silly if it counts to win against the same bots, only online.....

I definitely got my 10 wins trophy and 50 matches trophy against bots in some rounds. I don't know how they could not count those.
