GrieverLioness
http://i.imgur.com/Q9S94BX.png Banners created by GlennThomas, and butchered by Xander45 Thanks to Xander and Griever for starting this idea THL is now a regular rare event on the PST calendar, and is the perfect event to lose all control to the ez pz gods. The official rules and regulations can be found here, (THL Rules) but here’s a brief summary: For 1 month you will feed your trophy addictions by hoarding as many trophies as possible as part of a 6 person team. With the recent addition of the ez pz games that are churning their way onto PS4, even the completionists can have a chance of winning THL, while still maintaining the e-peen that is that magic 100% number, although there are several games that you can churn numbers out for and leave the rest for an after THL clean-up Bear in mind that this site focuses on helping and guiding trophy hunters on their quest for platinums. During THL I highly recommend reading our handy site guides BEFORE attempting to tackle a game. It’s always a good idea to know what you’re letting yourself in for and if there are any collectibles of missable trophies that you want to keep an eye on. WARNING: Some guides may contain spoilers Since the start of THL a leaderboard has been kept keeping track of how each hunter has done, maybe one day you could climb to the top of the mountain! THL Career Stats Site Awards Competing during THL is not just about the glory of winning, oh no no. You will also be competing for a special PST award: ??Mystery Award?? - In most seasons this is announced halfway through the competition and is a fun award that those who may have slipped out of contention for the top spots can go for. For THL 9 there is also a scrubscriber only 4th award, so see the thread for further details 4 Easy Steps to THL Success Step 1: Check That You Qualify to Compete and Find a Team First thing's first, to take part in THL you must have been a member since April 1st 2018 and have over 50 posts. If you don't meet these criteria then don't spam posts to get your count up as these will just get deleted and it'll be a waste of your time! Try to be a bit more active around the site and hopefully you'll qualify for next season. Now that's out of the way, you'll need 5 other team mates to help you out, THL is not a solo sport! If you already have 5 fellow PST members willing to join your cause then fantastic, all you'll need to do now is think of a team name and then sign up in the Team Sign-Up thread. If you don't have a team but still want to take part, don't worry, there are lots of people every season who are in the same position as you. Have a look in the Team Finder thread, this is where teams looking for other members post, and where you can post your details in the hope of finding a few people to join you. Just enter your name, what kind of team you're looking to join/create (casual or hardcore) and hopefully you'll find 5 people in no time. THL Team Finder Thread THL Team Sign-Up Thread Step 2: Setting Up Your Games Sign up to a rental scheme (Boomerang Rentals/Games Frenzy for UK, Gamefly for US) Just imagine the amount of money they’d have to spend if those that came high up in the leaderboards bought every single game they played during THL? Unless they’re a millionaire the chances are they’ve been taking advantage of rental schemes, and so should you. For a monthly fee you get as many games as you can play through, and some even offer free month trials! So sign up, fill your rental list and wait for them to arrive. (please note for Boomerang in the UK, the base package you can get is 2 games out at a time, so try to balance these out well whilst working on your own backlog) Below these steps are some lists with games that we’d highly recommend sticking onto your rental lists in preparation for the competition. Sign up to the PS+ and Now scheme If you’re not already a PS+ member, why not!? They hand out free games on a monthly basis, and some great discounts on other titles too. Also with the PS4 you require a PS+ membership to play online, so join now and enjoy some of the freebies. The Instant Game Collection is a great place to grab some trophies, even if it’s not a game you like there’s sure to be some easy trophies on offer in them. Check the game’s guide whilst it’s downloading and then grab what you can! Watch the store for regular offers on PS+. They often have discounts or subscription extensions available if you fancy. There is also now the addition of the Playstation Now scheme, with a new yearly scheme available for UK users (please note, this is only available in some countries). This allows you to take your gaming to a PC if you want, to allow you to earn trophies and procrastinate even further than normal at work! This has a fair amount of shorter games, and some easy plats as well, so is well worth the look Step 4 Create many different alt accounts You can’t call yourself a true ez pz trophy hunter without some alt accounts for those sweet sweet stacks. Make sure to grab a US/EU alt at the least for the basic stacks, and then delve into the moon rune alts for that true skippery :sg: Step 3 (Optional): Create a THL Folder for Downloaded games Thanks to BinkUncia and Winkuru for this tip. If you've a lot of easy trophy laden PSN titles downloaded for THL then having a seperate subfolder for them on your XMB might help seperate them from the other games making it easier to find them! Press triangle when looking at the games you want to use for THL and go to the option called "Album Name", now change this to THL. Once you've done this for all games you want in the folder simply press square whilst in the games list and choose "Sort by Album", this will create a new subfolder on your XMB called THL making these games easier to find and with a lot less scrolling! Step 4: The Season Starts Now you’re all signed up and ready to go, all that’s left is to wait until the official start time and then get hunting! Recommended Games If you’re someone that can’t leave a game unplatted then the following threads are for you. ShadowAFC’s Project Platinum is fantastic and has all games with a platinum available listed in estimated time to plat order. zomfgstfu’s difficulty thread shows you which games are the easiest to plat, these two are best used in conjunction with each other. Trophy Boosting Each individual game has it’s own boosting thread (if applicable) in their own forum, however for some older games these can be pretty dead and buried. To help out I created a social group dedicated to helping fellow THL’ers to find other people playing the games they need help with. Just head to the group (linked below) and search for a thread for the game you want to boost, if one isn’t there then make one! Hopefully you’ll find someone who can help you out THL Boosting Social Group Discord also has some Playstation groups here and there that would be able to help you with some certain groups if you’re a fan of using that instead, allowing for quicker boosting. Epilogue So there you go, a brief look at THL with some helpful tips on which games you want to be looking at. Hopefully you’ll take part either in this season or one in the future! Good luck, and good hunting =] Special Thanks: Pricey - For loads of additions and the linkage to the VN datamines. Sellers - For even more EZPZ Edited June 26, 2018 by Xander45
Xander45
Visual Novels Let's start with what is now the bread and butter of THL, moon runes (or VN's to the uninitiated). These are the games that most people will only recognise by game image only, however there is a wide variety to choose from, from big busty moon runes, to quick and ez pz moon runes. Note, these will seriously burn a hole through your wallet and into your bank account, so be warned Tuffmuff has made a very helpful guide over on the imports site, that lists the difficulty of the skipping and how long it would take you, so go take a look here - http://ps3imports.org/forum/index.php?/topic/8538-official-comprehensive-ps3importsorg-vn-guidegame-data/ If you are looking to buy any of the above games, check ebay under easy platinums, or check on solaris, although this may involve importing, which will bump up the price of these ez pz plats http://i.imgur.com/0jqWppu.png These PS3 games are the staple of any THL competitor that wants to keep that completion percentage high. GrieverLioness
http://i.imgur.com/CCn3tEL.png The games listed below are not necessarily easy for platinums, but have at least 20+ easy trophies that need 1 playthrough to achieve. Some are also contenders for easy platinums, but have been put in this list because the length of time to plat is quite long. Xander45
http://i.imgur.com/2yPl8pH.png If you’ve got some money burning a hole in your pocket then the PS store is full of quick, easy games to help top up the trophy levels. If you’re serious about fighting it out for the top spot then you’ll be wanting to give these games a try. There are quite a number of very easy trophies to be had with these, but the costs can add up and there are very few trophies per game, so we recommend only buying the games you enjoy - similarly with the PSN vita titles. .detuned Aabs Animals Act it Out: Game of Charades Afterburner Altered Beast Anarchy: Rush Hour Arcade Game Collection (Pac-Man, Ms Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Galaga) Back to the Future Episodes 1-5 Battle: Lost Angeles Battle Trivia Knockout Beyond Eyes Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mysteries of Little Riddle Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Castle of Illusion Cel Damage HD Comix Zone Contrast [stackable in 5 regions, 2 on PS3 and 3 on PS4] Costume Quest Datura Daytona USA Doki Doki Universe Doodle Devil Doodle God Dream C Club: Hosts Girls on Stage Fez [if you follow the walkthrough found on the site] Fighting Vipers Firewatch Flower Frogger Returns Galaga Legions DX Golden Axe Gone Home Hatoful Boyfriend Hatoful Boyfriend Holiday Star It’s Spring Again Jetpack Joyride [even quicker with microtransactions][/font] Journey Jurassic Park Knytt Underground [can get all trophies within an hour, but requires several hours of preperation] LA Cops Level 22 Limbo Linger in Shadows Machinarium Mad Dog McCree [PS Move required] MLB: Home Run Derby Monkey Island 2 My Aquarium Noby Noby Boy North Nubla Octodad [PS4 only] Proteus Rain Randal's Monday Sam & Max: Beyond Time & Space Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse Sonic The Fighters Sonic The Hedgehog + 2 Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Eps 1 & 2 Sportsfriends Stacking Stick it To The Man Streets of Rage 2 Submerged Super Hang On Superstar Challenge EU Tales of Monkey Island Tekken Revolution Test Yourself: Psychology That Trivia Game The Last Bounty Hunter [PS Move required] The Park The Secret of Monkey Island The Walking Dead Season 2 The Wolf Among Us Thomas Was Alone Three Fourths Home Extended Edition Titan Attacks Toejam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron [most trophies can be got within the first level] Toren Trine 2 [Can be done in under an hour with a partner who has finished the game] Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta Unfinished Swan Valiant Hearts [both a PS3 & PS4 version along with a Japanese version that stacks, potentially 4 lists] Virtua Fighter 2 Virtua Fighter 5 Voltron Who Wants to be a Millionaire X-Men Arcade Zombie Driver HD Edited June 26, 2018 by Xander45

The Great American Savior
Great guide guys! I'll be sure to use it if I ever decide to participate in THL. rotoninja
This is a great guide, wish it was around at the start as this is my first one. You could probably add Deadpool to the second list. The time to plat is around 20+ hours, but the majority of the trophies could be snagged in about 5 hours...in fact, you can get 5 in about 2 minutes. I'm afraid I can't really help you there! Listing a price for each game is a good idea but would take a fair bit of work as the prices can vary wildly. It might be something we look at in the future but for now this is all we have The Sly Trilogy is in the longer to plat section, the first game is about 8 hours but the other 2 are between 15-20 hours at a guesstimate. Most games in the Easy Plat section take under 10 hours to platinum. Great guide guys! I'll be sure to use it if I ever decide to participate in THL. ShadowEpyon10
Sly 1 which is the only 1 I've properly played 2 & 3 just dead quick to unlock mini games because I was renting the retail disc for the mini games. I found it a bit annoying because the person helping you guide your way through like Daxter for Jak is quite urghhh I thought. Decent platform game though. Thanks for some recommendations mainly Hotline Miami have it on PC but thinking of getting for my future vita. Also to anyone thinking of getting Linger in Shadows it's a pain in the bloody arse and irritating and sure a trophy is glitched. Unfortunately, prices will vary based on where you live, so you'll have to do a little bit of research. As for Sly, I found them easy, but not necessarily quick.
