Introduction Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll is a hack-n-slash RPG made by KOEI. If you've played any of their other games, you'll have a good grasp on how this plays. However it's also an RPG that will require leveling and gear upgrading if you want to come out on top. There are a few difficult spots to get through but can be easily overcome with planning and practice. The game is not very long per se, but you will need to grind out levels and gear to reach the end and eventually the platinum. Section 2.1 - Quest System Introduction Earning the platinum in this game requires understanding how quests work. There are quests that you accept and complete from the Adventurer's Guild in any city; these help you earn in game entitlements. There are other trophies that you accept from other parts of cities. When you enter any building in a city (Mage's Shop, Item Shop, Tavern, etc) or talk to certain individuals in a Tavern, they may offer you a quest. You will need to accept and clear these quests to earn the platinum. Completing these quests fills your codex with information which is required for the platinum. There are various quests in every city and different buildings, but these can be put on hold until you reach the post game. When you're ready to complete these quests you can simply travel from city to city and check every building. Section 3. Walkthrough The game has 5 chapters to clear and this should be your first goal. Once the credits are done rolling you can save your game and have a post-game save, this is where you'll be doing much of your work. Almost all the non-story related trophies are related to the quest system. You will spend most of your play time grinding the quests and killing enemies for everything else. Section 3.1 - Story Related Trophies There are 7 story related trophies and cannot be missed. You'll earn one each when Dagda and Selene join your party in Chapter 1. The other trophies are earned upon completion of each Chapter. You'll earn all of these by the end of the game. Trophies Earned Boldan Rising Destiny with a Darkenith First Chapter Cleared Second Chapter Cleared Third Chapter Cleared Fourth Chapter Cleared Faces of Vyashion Arch Sword Apprentice Minimum Negavantia Warrior Monk Novice Lunar Shadow Crescent Path to Glory Fifth Chapter Cleared Section 3.2 - Journal Related Trophies Once you reach the post game you can focus on leveling up, maximizing your ability trees and completing your Journal. There are various sections under your Journal but only the Bestiary, Characters and Journal are required for these trophies. To complete these entries you will need to accept and complete the various random quests you'll find in every town. When you go to a town or enter a certain part of a town (Item Shop, Mage's Shop, Tavern, etc) or talk to certain individuals in a tavern they will ask you to complete a quest for them. Even with all these quests complete you will still be missing a few entries. You will also have to kill the Dragon King and enter Leonique's Labyrinth 5th floor to finish these trophies. Trophies Earned Goblin Smasher Bane of the Undead No Quest Too Small Out For Blood Rags to Riches Blackjack Ace Solid Chrome Heart Neophyte Nosferatu Giant Killer Dragon Slayer Vyashion Historian Bestiary Professor Medal Madness Five-Card Charlie No Stone Left Unturned Down with the Dragon King Labyrinth Mastermind Section 3.3 - Experience, Ability Tree and SP Related Trophies There are 18 trophies that fall under this category. You will earn two of the trophies for getting all 3 party members to level 99. The other 16 trophies will be earned by maximizing all the skills for every characters skill trees. This will require grinding enemies for SP as there is no other way to earn SP. Kheapathic
http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/777/026.jpgNo Quest Too Small... Complete over 70 quests To earn this trophy you simply need to complete 70 quests from the Adventurer's Guild. Random quests do not apply to this trophy and the best time to attempt this is in the post game while working towards Warriors Unrivaled and Soul Harvester. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/777/027.jpgOut for Blood Defeat over 3,000 enemies To earn this trophy you simply need to kill over 3,000 enemies of any type. Every enemy you kill counts for this trophy and if you don't obtain this by the end of the story, you should have it by the time you reach level 99. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/777/028.jpgMedal Madness Gather over 100,000 medals To earn this trophy you first must have access to the Fugo Estate in Liberdam. Once there you can exchange Gea for Medals and play the games to earn the Medals, or you can keep exchanging Gea until you have 100,000 Medals. It will take a minimum of 625,000 Gea to earn over 100,000 Medals. See the Fugo Estate Guide for how to access the Estate. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/777/031.jpgRags to Riches Possess over 100,000 gea Gea is the standard currency in the game. You earn Gea by killing enemies, completing quests and selling items you don't need. This trophy is easy to earn as enemies and quests reward you with better gea the further into the game you go. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/777/032.jpgFive Card Charlie Get a 5-card Charlie in blackjack This trophy requires you to have access to the Fugo Estate in Liberdam and you'll need Medals to play the game. This trophy is completely random so it's best to have a good supply of medals and bet the absolute minimum. Now all you need to do is hope you get dealt low value cards until you have 5 in your hand and beat the dealer. See the Fugo Estate Guide for how to access the Estate. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/777/033.jpgBlackjack Ace Get a blackjack in blackjack This trophy requires you to have access to the Fugo Estate in Liberdam and you'll need Medals to play the game. This trophy is completely random so it's best to have a good supply of medals and bet the absolute minimum. Now play the game until you are dealt a Blackjack. A Blackjack is when your first two cards equal 21, that is an Ace and any card with a value of 10. See the Fugo Estate Guide for how to access the Estate. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/777/040.jpgNo Stone Left Unturned Travel to all dungeons and cities This trophy is not nearly as hard as it sounds. You will visit almost all of the dungeons and towns while playing through the storyline. There are small optional areas that are only accessible during random quests and Leonique's Labyrinth. If not earlier this trophy can be earned alongside Vyashion Historian. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/777/041.jpgLabyrinth Mastermind Complete Leonique's Labyrinth The earliest you can access Leonique's Labyrinth is in Chapter 5. To gain access to the Labyrinth you must accept and complete the random quests from the patrons in the Tavern of the Dwarf Kingdom. The final quest is obtainable in Chapter 5; complete it and then go back to the tavern. Talk to the patrons and they'll mention finding a new dungeon. You now have access to Leonique's Labyrinth. Leonique's Labyrinth is a 50 floor dungeon with only 2 ways to exit. You must use a Scroll of Return to leave or defeat the boss at the 50th floor. If you leave you will have to restart all the way at the first floor. The dungeon takes dungeon maps from other areas and uses them as floors. Every 5 floors will be a boss creature that will drop a unique piece of gear that should not be passed up. The enemies in Leonique's Labyrinth are leveled at the mid to high 70's. The best thing about this dungeon is you are not required to fight any of the non-boss enemies. Certain areas will have you perform their dungeon puzzles again, but you are able to run past all enemies in the area; making this dungeon a lot shorter if you're strong enough to kill the bosses with little effort. Kheapathic
Fugo Estate Guide The Fugo Estate holds several requirements to platinum the game. You will have to first have access to the Fugo Estate and perform various quests for them, on top of playing in their casino. Section 1. Accessing the Fugo Estate You will need to be in at least Chapter 2 to access the Fugo Estate. When you check an Adventurer's Guild for quests, look for quests that are requested by "Fugo Cooperative." After you complete enough quests for them, you'll be approached by the Fugo's butler the next time you enter Liberdam and he will extend an invitation to the Fugo Estate. You can now enter the Fugo Estate whenever you're in Liberdam. Section 2. Fugo Estate Quests Once you have access to the Fugo Estate, enter the estate and talk to the Fugo's. Mr. Fugo will request that you find a Fugo Statue for him but no one is sure on where it was lost. Accept the quest and search the Sunken Shrine for it. Now head back to the Fugo Estate to complete the quest. With that quest complete you will now have other quests available at the Adventurer's Guild. Enter the Adventurer's Guild and check for quests from the Fugo Cooperative that ask you to retrieve a painting. Accept and complete the quest and then head to the Fugo Estate. The butler will appraise the painting and the Fugo's will thank you. You will have to do this 14 times to unlock all the paintings, each painting unlocked is also available to view in the Gallery. Once you've unlocked the Cave of Phantoms, head to the Fugo Estate. Mr. Fugo will request you find and return the Astral Map. Accept the quest, head to the Cave of Phantoms final area, defeat the Zombie Dragon for the map and then return to the Fugo Estate. *Finding the Fugo Statue and Astral Map is required for the Vyashion Historian trophy. Section 3. Fugo Estate Casino Upon entering the Fugo Estate there are 4 options; Blackjack, Magic Chest, Buy Medals and Prize Exchange. Section 3.1. Blackjack The point in the game of Blackjack is to get close to the number 21 without going over (busting). Each card has a numerical value assigned to it; a number card is worth it's number and a face card is worth 10, however an Ace can be worth 1 or 11 (it's always worth 1 if 11 would make you bust). There are two trophies for playing Blackjack and both involve random chance. See Five Card Charlie and Blackjack Ace for trophy details. Section 3.2 Magic Chest This game is easy to play and can help you gain many medals, all it requires is good timing. Watch the line move back and forth and hit to have it stop in one of the bonus areas to win. You can win 5 times in a row before the butler has you cash out. Section 3.3 Buy Medals This is where you can get Medals to play Blackjack and Magic Chest. You can buy Medals in increments of 100, 250, 400 or 800. There is also a trophy for having over 100,000 Medals. It's easier to just buy them here instead of trying your luck on the games. Section 3.4 Prize Exchange This is where you can exchange Medals for gear. They actually have some nice equipment for sale; the best piece is their wrist gear with a +30% to EXP gain. Special Thanks Bandar - Information that the 14 paintings aren't required for Vyashion Historian. Edited September 25, 2011 by Kheapathic

A second Dragon Zombie spawns on the last Fugo quest and you don't need to use that ability to kill it.
Eye Beams
Hoping to see a(n) revision/addition, for Warriors Unrivaled, about fighting Dragongriffs in the Arena. I'm certain it will help a lot of people and the guide. I don't think saying "high level battles in the Arena" is adequate enough. ... fighting Lvl99 Goblins is not productive and a waste of time. I will edit that and any other pertinent information in once I get back home; that should be in the evening of GMT-8 tomorrow. I would attempt it on my new phone but I'm still learning it and would probably end up butchering what I have written. EDIT: Okay any other critiques? I would just like to add that You don't need to find all 14 paintings to unlock the quest for the map and that they are not important for the journal. Only the statue and the map are. Eye Beams
Sorry for not responding to your message/guide after such a long time. I've been wanting to say something, but didn't have the guts. x_x So looking back at Warriors Unrivaled, it seemed like you only added a few words. And saying "like" gives the reader the impression that all high-level battles award the same amount of EXP as Dragongriffs. You have to (or should) find a way to convince them that DG's are the best way to reach 99, because they are! Are you not familiar with the leveling trick? Well, I mean aside from the EXP items at least... Here's a bit of research material that helped me: Tips for getting lvl 99 (Or Platinum Trophy) - Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll Message Board for PlayStation 3 - GameFAQs (first post) http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/trinity-souls-zill-oll/82749-platinum-difficulty-rating-5.html#post1894160 (luckyegg) From personal experience... High-level Selene + Blood Shot + Igzakus' Necklace = BEAST There was another piece of equipment that increases magic ATK by 20%, and mitigates magic ATK by 20%, which should also be worn. It may be beneficial to give her all the Sage Elixirs that you win from arena battles when you start the road to 99. By using Selene as your "master" character, it will allow you to defeat Giants--and of course Dragongriffs--with ease; they give great EXP, but slightly less than 2 DG's. In addition, she can power-level Dagda/Areus quickly by weakening the monster to Trinity Attack status (remember to switch members!). I encourage you to try. Igzakus' Necklace = Legendary Gladiator title = 100 Arena Battles won Edited December 5, 2011 by Eye Beams

Igzakus' Necklace = Legendary Gladiator title = 100 Arena Battles won Don't be scared, I don't bite... too hard. I used the word "like" not to say all high level fights offer the exp that Dragongriffs do, but to give the idea that the higher tier monsters give the better exp and sometimes Dragongriff's do not appear in the arena and so they may have to fight monsters that aren't top marks for exp. I bring this up as I had bad luck with leaving the city and having the arena fights shuffle a Dragongriff in. So I just started killing all the higher exp monsters first and then the fights finally shuffled. I couldn't make a sound judgement on the time to get a Dragongriff fight to show up is better than going in and fighting what's already there. SuperMegaShark
A question about the first chapter end. It says when I get Selene to join my party I'd be close to the end of that chapter? She joined me and since then I've done a lot of quests with her for at least a few hours, now I'm at a point where.. [spoiler=ID]Dagda and Selene have both left my party and I'm taking some kind of Officers exam were Areus fails it (talking about some bird and whatnot). The trophy for Selene to join my party has unlocked but nothing about clearing any chapters. I might just be impatient, but I'm kinda curious. If I have already finished chapter 1, then the trophy have glitched or something. But if I haven't, then the chapters are longer than I though, which is a good thing. EDIT: Nevermind, it unlocked now after some more playtime. It's seems the chapters are a lot longer than I thought, that's pleasant news indeed. starcrunch061
People act like it takes forever to get to level 99. It's a matter of a few hours, tops. Between quest experience, boss experience, and the titles you can get with no effort (assuming you visit different towns after completing a request), it takes no time at all. It's not Star Ocean or anything. You absolutely don't need to focus on a single class of enemy. I got the plat in around 45 hours, and I wasn't trying to rush. bonwolf
Excellent guide. Gave me exactly the info I needed to get through the game. Just have to finish the Labyrinth and Level 99 for the plat. Not a bad game, a little grinding at the end, but overall not bad.
MMDE
Good to see this game has no missables. Means I can play the game on my own without following any guides. If I ever get stuck, I will use this guide! Thanks!
