Complete Astral Academy

This can be done on any difficulty. This is the first level and story related so it CAN NOT be missed

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/24.jpg Tripleshot! (B)

Hit at least three different monsters with a single bow shot

This can be done with any type of enemy in the game. You need to have fully upgraded the thief's bow to be able to achieve this or you need to have the Blue Masterstone in the Thief's inventory, which allows one extra bow to be shot at a time but you will still have had to upgrade at least once.

This can be done on any level once you acquire the 3 bows needed. Basic tip is get above your enemies (preferably skeletons) on a ledge and shoot straight up by tapping the right analogue stick up very very lightly. Your arrows will go straight up and drop down spreading and hitting the enemies below, they do not need to die for the trophy to unlock

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/31.jpg Footskull Fan (B)

Kill at least 50 monsters in a single level with the Knight's Charge ability

Continue to upgrade your knight's abilities by collecting experience on each level. Once you have gained the ability to charge an enemy simply hold L2 to charge and kick the enemy (on easy this is a one hit kill, on normal you need to hit the enemy with the sword first and then charge him). I did this on level 13 Bramblestoke Village where there are plenty of enemies around, remember DO NOT RUN FROM ENEMY SPAWN LOCATIONS stay and kill them all, once they stop spawning move to the next location.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/17.jpg Tower Master (S)

Collect all experience in Tower of Sarek

Experience (level): 10/10

Experience (enemies): 15/15

Secrets: 0/0

There is no real science to this one. You will need to play the tower numerous times to collect all the XP available in the level so just watch where you are going and try to keep an eye out for the green vials. Once you've been through the level go back in and try to go a different way to collect all missing vials. A reference video can be found associated with the Better Than Developers! trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/19.jpg Completed! (S)

Complete the entire game

This can be done on any difficulty but it is recommended to do it on easy while collecting all XP and Secrets. Just simply complete the entire game (15 levels) and it shall be yours.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/26.jpg What a View! (S)

Build a tower with at least 12 Wizard-created objects and stand on top of the tower without collapsing it

Thanks to alexis162103 for the video

This one can be tricky; you need to have your Wizard fully upgraded so you can build 4 blocks and have 4 planks out at the same time, you will also need the Blue Masterstone found in level 8, the Red Masterstone found in level 11 and Wolfgang's Music Box found in level 13. I suggest the beginning of Fangle Forest to do this since the checkpoint at the beginning of the level will refill your magic but it can be done on any level once those items are in your Wizard's inventory

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9R9sVhMfarc]What a View ![/ame]

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/27.jpg Master Ninja (S)

Complete 5 swings in a row to the same direction with the grappling hook

Thanks to Vitten for telling me about this location.

Level 11, Ruins of the Perished.

At the end of the level you will find a bridge above some lava. Use the bottom of this bridge to complete this challenge. It is recommended to place some planks below in case your Thief falls, now just swing forward 5 times hitting only :r2: or :square: do not jump inbetween swings!

Alternate Method

[/ame]

(Credit to Valo42 for the video)

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/28.jpg Whoops! (S)

Kill 3 monsters with a single physical object drop or throw

Very easy to do once you have unlocked the plank power with the wizard. Near the beginning of level 5 you will need to drop a giant hand down to smash through a wall, use this hand to stack at the end of the ledge where you break the wall down now jump down into the lower section and skeletons will begin to jump down from above you let a few get into the section with you then retreat back up to the hand stand on it and draw a plank across the whole gap below you it will crush the skeletons and you will get a new shiny silver trophy

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/29.jpg All Boxes And No Play... (S)

Create 500 objects in a single level

Enter any level and while standing at the very beginning of the level just draw a plank repeat this 500 times YOU DO NOT NEED TO MAKE 500 BOXES just do planks they are faster. Stay at the checkpoint so you never run out of magic

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/30.jpg Better Than Developers! (S)

Complete Tower of Sarek without any deaths on Very Hard difficulty

Thanks to blue_leaf for posting the video and Access Denied for having it on youtube.

This is by far the hardest trophy in the game and will take some time to do. Plan your route and just practice practice practice it takes time but once you do the level a bunch of times it becomes pretty easy I got this on my 19th try.

Note:

Patch 1.01 makes this trophy a bit more difficult in my opinion by adding more skeletons as you climb the level but if you choose to, you can play the game without the update to make this final level a bit easier. What the patch will do if you choose to use it, is add skeletons as you climb the entire level and they are placed in some very bad spots that slow your progress on climbing the tower. On top of that, it slightly slows the lava to make up for the added difficulty.

It is recommended that you do not update and you do the level the original way, it will still take some practice but it is not as difficult once you learn the correct path.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/18.jpg Master Collector (G)

Collect all experience in the game

Just follow all the video's above and this one will be yours in no time

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/20.jpg What's next? (G)

Complete the entire game on Very Hard difficulty

You do need to complete the game twice in total this mode will unlock after beating the game a first time. You will NOT NEED to start a new game, just go back to each level and change the difficulty to Very Hard and this will unlock for you. Do this so you can keep all your upgrades that you collected throughout the game

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/21.jpg Treasure Hunter (G)

Find all secret items in every level

Just follow all the videos above and you'll have it in no time

Do not restart level on Tower of Sarek if you do not have the treasure hunter trophy and are playing the NA version of the game, because there is a glitch where all your secrets disappear. I only had 3 secrets to get but was going for the BTD trophy so I restarted the level a few times and afterwards, all my secrets were gone.

Secret Trophies

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/22.jpg Survivor (B)(H)

Survive a level other than Astral Academy without any deaths

Pretty self explanatory here just play any level without dying and you will get this trophy. This is easiest done while going for flower power and better than devs trophies on final level.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/23.jpg Whackwhackwhack (B)(H)

Kill at least 5 monsters in 3 seconds

Bats, any level that there are Bats on this is where you want to get this. Use your Thief and just shoot as fast as you can. This one should come by just playing the game.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/25.jpg I Did It My Way (B)(H)

Complete a level with 15 or more character deaths

Pretty easy it can be done on any level after level 2 just die on purpose and head to the last check point do this 15 times and hang your head when the trophy pops.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/32.jpg Flower Power (S)(H)

Complete a level without any monster getting killed

I did this while going for the Better Than Developers trophy since the enemies only spawn at the top of the level if you are fast and with a little practice this one is a cake walk. Try to do it when you play through on easy since the enemies do not spawn as fast. Thanks to Frozenbyte for confirming that if an enemy falls into lava or dies in any manor other than YOU hitting or shooting them, then it DOES NOT count as a kill so this can still be done on the final level even after patch 1.01. I suggest doing it there as most of the levels prior force you to fight at one point or another. Just be fast when you get to the top and get onto the final ledge without fighting anything and this one will be all yours

This can also be done on Crystal Caverns with some patience so thanks to Elway358 for confirming this and Vuule for the following:

There is even an easier/faster way to do this. In order for this to work, you will first need to have the Wizards ability to create those triangles and this skill needs to be level 2 so the Thief can use its grappling hook on it.

Now just start level 2 and follow this video. There is a part where you get closed in and you need to kill the monster before the gates open. But, if you place a triangle high up before entering and use the Thiefs grappling hook, you can quickly get out of this trap.

I did it this way and as soon as the next level started after completing this one, the trophy popped :).

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/220/33.jpg The Cool Way (S)(H)

In a single level, kill one monster by jumping on it with the Knight, one with the Wizard's abilities and one with the Thief's grappling hook kick

This can be done in any level all you need to do is get to a ledge with some skeletons below you and jump onto one of them with the knight, get back up onto the ledge and drop a box onto one with the wizard, now comes the tricky part that is much easier to do once you unlock the wizards ability to draw the triangle that the Thief can swing from just place it above an enemy and grapple on with the Thief she will swing and kick the enemy in the face and bang trophy for you.

Number of missable trophies: 31

(There are only 2 guaranteed story related trophies you can miss the rest, some you may get on accident but nothing other than "Astral Introduction & Completed" relate directly to the story)

In trophy guides, a missable trophy means a trophy that you have to get during your playthrough and can't go back and get later. Meaning Trine has no missable trophies.

Ok thanks, Im going to skip this game and just get GI JOE instead because it's cheaper.

good guide but game is quite expensive

This game is well worth the $20 its a fantastic game to play very fun visually beautiful great story and a decent challenge. Passing on this for GI Joe is a s silly as buying a 360 it just makes no sense

Is it possible to beat the game on the hardest difficulty the first time through? Or does it have to be unlocked by beating it once first?

You gotta beat it once in other difficulty first to unlock the hardest one.

Another thing TriangleOffense:

I did my "Flower Power" on Crystal Caverns. I was racking my brain trying to figure out how the hell you guys were doing it on the final level until l I realized it wasn't possible because I had already updated.

After running through on my speed run for very hard completion, I kept an eye out and figured this is the easiest place. Went back and got it on the second try. Just use the thief and make sure you just go through as fast as you can. Use the skeletons to jump off of if they get in your way and just keep rollin'

Only a couple little tricky spots but nothing major at all.
