Overview

This game is split into two sections – Story Mode and Arcade Mode. Story Mode consists of seven levels of increasing length and difficulty and is a basic sideways scrolling platformer with some puzzle elements thrown in. Five of the game’s eight trophies are earned during this mode. Arcade mode (in which the game’s final three trophies are earned) has ten levels to complete and is more of an isometric platformer reminiscent of Portal (at least in looks).

Your character moves around using a vehicle called a Gyroscopic Exploration Multi-dimensional Multi-terrain Apparatus (or GEMMA for short) which unlocks several special abilities as you progress.

Every trophy in this game is earned for collecting items rather than simply completing levels, however as the items are dotted throughout each level and progress is only saved at level completion you effectively have to complete each level anyway. Following the below walkthrough and completing each level in numerical order is the quickest way to earn all trophies on this game.

Start with the slightly easier Story Mode which will gradually introduce your character’s advanced moves (Note that these moves Double Jump, Power Pull & Power Push take a few seconds to recharge). Each level’s star locations are listed separately to the walkthrough for convenience, I recommend noting the first star location and then following the walkthrough to that point, as you collect each star note the next one’s location and so on. As well as the three star collecting trophies, the fuel tank and berry gatherer trophies are also earned in this mode. Berry gatherer is earned in level seven whereas fuel tank can be earned in any level from two onwards, although as noted below during level two is by far the easiest opportunity.

Arcade mode does away with any ongoing story and is just a collection of ten hardcore platforming & puzzling levels where a lot of the time not running out of fuel is your biggest challenge. Unlike story mode checkpoints are few and far between and the trick of this mode is to get the right balance between speed and caution. Once again the trophies are awarded for collecting items, cubes in this case, rather than simply finishing each level and the location and quantity of these cubes are similar to the berries in the final story mode level making them difficult to miss as a rule.

Note that should you miss a trophy during your first playthrough, you can replay any single level afterwards.

Story Mode

You will earn this trophy by collecting all of the stars on level one.

Level 1 – the crash site

This is a tutorial level to familiarise you with the basic controls, floor switches and wooden blocks. The only marginally tricky part of this level is the platform section right at the end where you have to jump across the gaps (Always press R2 immediately before jumping to make a longer jump).

Star Locations

  1. The game's first Star is located at the far right of the level at the top of the second slope (just as you change direction).
  2. After the first set up steps you pass through a timed gate section, Star 2 is just passed the end gate next to a checkpoint.
  3. Just after Star 2 is a section where you have to activate moving blocks to use as steps, Star 3 is on the middle block.
  4. The final Star of this level is at the section where you have to push the wooden block to climb the high step.

You will earn this trophy by collecting all of stars on levels two & three

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/170/07.jpg fuel tank ((B)) have no less than 1000 fuel points at the end of any level

Easiest achieved on level two, collect all blobs (don’t miss the first large blob to your right as you step off the first elevator), use R2 sparingly (use jump to climb the steep slopes) and try to avoid dying as this eats up extra time. Using R2 on the level’s Windas’s is unavoidable and a few deaths shouldn’t stop you finishing with over 1000 remaining.

Level 2 – up to the village

This level introduces time limits in the form of GEMMA’s fuel source – Energy Nodes (or Blue Blobs). From now on every level is against the clock with your fuel supply constantly decreasing. Using advanced moves like speed jumps will decrease your fuel more quickly but don’t worry as there are plenty of small (+10) and large (+50) blue blobs dotted around the levels for collection.

This level also contains some basic puzzles where you have to activate two floor switches or Windas’ (mechanical switches you have to activate by repeatedly tapping R2 in a certain order to progress, but these are not too taxing and there is no penalty for initially getting the order wrong. There are two sections to note in this level, the first is where you have to guide the wooden ball down the slope. Slow and steady is the key here and if necessary allow the gates to close as you can easily go back and re-open, this is far less time consuming than losing the ball and having to start the section again. The second is just before the level’s end where you have to move a wooden ball onto a switch using three windas’s, the correct order to operate them is 2-1-3 (where 1 is the leftmost).

Star Locations

  1. At the section where you have to use the 2 windas' to activate the far switch, there is a switch to the right of the checkpoint. This activates a secret platform that carries you to a hidden area containing this level's first Star.
  2. Star 2 is above the level's first switch activated gate, use the stack of wooden blocks to reach it.
  3. Soon after star 2 is a section where there are two floor switches; one to fill the hole in the floor and the second to make a wooden block appear. Before you use the block to climb the steps, continue down a secret path behind them to find Star 3.
  4. After the downhill section where you have to guide the wooden ball you come across a wooden block on the path, to the left of this block is a thin wooden bridge leading to a platform that contains Star 4.
  5. This is directly after star 4 behind the gate you have to jump. Use the wooden block to reach it.
  6. Just after you climb the two slopes and change direction there is a hidden cave in the tree containing the level's final Star.

Level 3 – the pillaged town

The level introduces the double jump ability (press X twice) which when used with speed boost enables you to jump higher and farther. This levels starts off straightforward getting you used to double jumps, when you change direction you reach a section where you have to double jump onto a moving platform between two opening and closing gates. Just watch the pattern of movement a couple of times to get the timing before you jump.

Soon after this section you meet your first enemy of the game – these annoying characters also move around using a GEMMA similar to yours and will constantly try to push you off the edge of the platforms. Some you can avoid but for the vast majority you will have to push them off the platforms to continue safely. Use speed boost continuously to push them (keep an eye on your fuel as this will use up a lot) and most importantly react quickly as you manage to push them over the edge or your momentum will carry you over as well.

The remainder of this level is pretty straightforward, towards the end when you reach the Stone Fists (large rectangle moving blocks) and on the large horizontal elevator there are a number of enemies that can all be defeated by activating the various floor switches.

Star Locations

  1. Directly after the second double jump, drop down below the moving platform to find Star 1.
  2. On a moving platform directly after the level's second enemy.
  3. Star 3 can be found in a secret area to the left of the large lift you raise with a windas.
  4. Just after star 3 is an area where two small lifts move back and forth into (almost) the same place. Ride the one that moves up to find Star 4.
  5. After riding the second lift to continue through the level you'll soon reach an area where there is a gap, two small moving platforms and three enemies in a line. Star 5 in on a raised area to the left, use the stack of three wooden blocks to reach it.
  6. Soon after star 5 is the level's second large windas operated lift, just as it starts to rise you will pass a hidden tree cave containing Star 6.
  7. The level's final star is on the middle of three small platforms which also hold enemies. Whilst you're riding on the large moving platform (summoned by a windas) , step on the three switches on the left to drop the enemies.

You will earn this trophy by collecting the stars on the remaining story mode levels.

Level 4 – when stones are gold

This level introduces the pull ability (press and hold Circle) which you will use during the remainder of the game to move and drag wooden blocks and balls. At the very start of the level drop down and activate the switch in front of you (marked with a chalk arrow) and a wooden block will spawn on your right. Using your new pull ability and the elevator, drag the block back up to where you started the level and jump on it to reach the higher platform. Continue this process of dragging and jumping with two more blocks until you reach the large elevator that is being weighed down with blocks. Drag all of the blocks off and the elevator will rise.

At the section with the first stone use the windas to lower the vertical stone fists and then quickly drag a block onto one and quickly move yourself onto the other. Once you have risen to the top deal with the single enemy, collect the supply of blue blobs and drag the block onto the central switch. Drop back down and you should now be able to collect the stone.

Once the bridge has formed to the right, continue through the level dragging the block with you for as long as possible (using the various elevators and moving platforms where required) and you will eventually reach a section with 2 enemies trapped behind gates in tree caves. Activate the switch to release the enemies and once you have dealt with them activate the switch in the left hand cave to lower the vertical stone fist. Ride it to the higher section, drag the block off the floor switch to the right and drop back down. Now ride the ‘crazy elevator’ down to collect the second stone. Return to the main section and use the newly arrived windas to open the gate on the right.

After the double jump continue around the high platform to find the switch that activates the hidden steps and continue on to the next large elevator. To activate this you must weigh it down with three wooden blocks. The first is at the top of the right hand stone fist, the second is behind the left hand stone fist and the final one is on a secret platform revealed by activating the switch behind the left hand stone fist.

At the bottom of the elevator activate the switch and quickly move down the long stone fist stairs to reach the final stone and the end of the level.

Star Locations

  1. Star 1 is hidden behind 2 wooden planks in a cave directly after the level's first gate.
  2. Directly after the first set of enemies you come to a pair of stone fists, climb them to find Star 2.
  3. At the top of the level's first large lift is a checkpoint followed by a signpost. Star 3 is hidden behind some wooden planks next to the signpost.
  4. After collecting the first stone, a bridge containing Star 4 forms to your right.
  5. At the section with the 'crazy elavator' and stone two, ride the vertical stone fist up to find Star 5.
  6. Just after star 5 you come to a large raised platform with three steps you need to activate (the steps have a chalk arrow above them). Continue around the side of the platform to find Star 6.
  7. At the end of the level you reach a long downward section of stone fists, Star 7 is on one of these near the bottom.

Level 5 – the statue will sing again

The level introduces the push ability (Triangle) and starts off with some easy puzzles where you have to push balls into switches. Soon you will reach a double jump section with two stone fists on the other side – start you jump when the lower stone fist is about half way closed. After this section you have to defeat some enemies and ride a giant elevator – activate it by pushing off the blocks that are weighing it down. As the elevator rises you will have to tackle three further enemies, try to push these directly left or right as if you fall in these directions you will land on the below platform and will not die – use the windas to recall the elevator if required. At the top of the elevator the path branches in two directions – left to the Challenge of Agility and right to the Challenge of Strength.

The Challenge of Agility involves riding a large elevator as it moves through various obstacles. Push the block off the first switch as you approach, then hop off the elevator and jump up and over the platform clearing three further switches before rejoining the elevator. The second section of this challenge (after the elevator has risen) sees you negotiating a group of stone fists, run between the first two as soon as you can and then when the elevator has move across far enough run straight passed the third. To avoid the next stone fist wait as long as possible before jumping up and then pause on the solid platform until the elevator is below the final stone fist, jump across the two stone fists and drop back onto the elevator to finish the challenge.

The first section of the Challenge of Strength involves you dragging two balls across wooden platforms. This section is pretty straightforward; just take care at the various moving platforms. After the elevator you have to drag a ball across a large gap by activating a switch on a moving platform – drag the ball as close to the edge of the platform as you can and move onto the moving platform when it arrives. You will probably leave the ball behind at this point but don’t worry and position yourself on the far right hand corner of the switch, keep holding (Circle) and when the moving platform reaches the right hand side again you should automatically collect the ball and drag it across as you move back to the left.

After using the combination of the floor switch and push to activate the switch that controls the next gate, travel straight past the next ball to a wooden floor section. Here push the five planks on the floor as far forward as possible and once done continue to the left and remove the three vertical planks using pull. Now you have cleared the path you can go back to the beginning of this area to collect the ball, drag it all the way to the left and drop it into either of the two switches to finish this challenge.

Return to the central section and activate the now accessible switch to call a windas operated elevator. At the top is the end of level section where you have to defeat 5 enemies. Take your time and try to tackle them separately, once they have all been defeated a new platform will appear in front of the statue, place the stones as directed to end the level.

Star Locations

  1. Just before where you have to do the level's first double jump a wooden ball gets released. Drop the ball into the wooden box below the raised switch to make Star 1 appear.
  2. Star 2 is above the two Stone Fists you have to double jump through. After you've made the jump use the blocks as steps to reach it.
  3. Straight after the last star continue past the lift and down some steps to find Star 3.
  4. During the Challenge of Agility there is a moving lift section. Whilst the lift is moving from left to right you have to jump over a set of stone fists. Star 4 is on the highest one.
  5. During the Challenge of Strength and just after you drop the first wooden ball into a switch, there is a switch high on the tree wall. Hit the switch to reveal Star 5.
  6. Towards the end of the Challenge of Strength there is a section where you have to remove three wooden planks to move the ball. Instead of dropping the ball into the left hand switch, push it up into a hidden switch (under a stone platform) to reveal Star 6.
  7. At the very end of the level and to the right of the Statue.

Level 6 – the dangerous road

At the start use your new ability – power push (Triangle Triangle) to activate the two hidden switches under the arch made from blocks to release a ball. Also note that from this point onwards power push can be used to defeat enemies. Manoeuvre it down the chute to open the gate. To open the next gate step on the switch under the second stone fist.

At the end of the next section power push the bouncing ball when it’s at its highest to activate the stone fists and double jump onto the lower one when it’s halfway open to reach the next platform. Power push the stack of blocks to the right to activate the switch which spawns a block in the tree cave and drag the block onto the moving platform (in front of the house). Use the windas to lower the platform and once done jump down the gap and quickly drag the block off the platform before it begins to rise (if you’re too slow use the windas to the left to bring the platform back down). Manoeuvre the block onto the switch and continue to the right over the now moving stone fists.

Once you reach the section with a small hole in the centre, stand on the switch whilst facing the tree and power push the ball as soon as it spawns. Manoeuvre it down the chute to open the gate. On the downward steps don’t stand on any with red markings (apart from the top one); during this section stepping on any of these red markings will cause that platform to move. At the bottom of the steps remove the vertical planks using pull (remembering not to step on the red areas) and drag the ball to the far right. Once done, step on the red markings on the far right stone fist to start it moving and enable the ball to drop into the next chute.

Once you reach the long wooden downhill section move very carefully and don’t use any push or pull abilities. At three stages as you descend a small portion of the planks will explode, you will be warned by a circular light so just hang back to stay safe. As you approach the bottom the planks will explode and this time you are not able to avoid being thrown, just hold the left stick in the direction you were moving and you should land safety on a lower platform.

After power pushing the next arch of blocks a number of large circular platforms appear. Be wary of their movement as you descend these to finish the level.

Star Locations

  1. After the first set of downward steps are two moving blocks, Star 1 is above the blocks.
  2. Just after star 1 you have to drop down to continue, Star 2 is hidden behind some blocks under the platform you drop off.
  3. Soon after star 2 is a section where you have to double jump onto two stone fists, Star 3 is above these.
  4. You'll reach a section where you have to cross three stone fists, Star 4 is just after these in a cave in the side of the tree. The switch to open the cave is high up and to the right of the final fist.
  5. Just after the moving steps (with the red writing), Star 5 is in a hidden section below the second moving block from the left.
  6. Just before the long wooden curved bridge is a signpost and a stone platform, use the ball left over from the last section to activate a hidden switch behind the signpost and Star 6 will appear.
  7. The level's final star is in a tree cave near the bottom of the large moving circular steps.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/170/08.jpg berry gatherer((B)) collect all berries in the 'at the gates of the unknown' level

The only tricky part of Story Mode is collecting the Berries on the final level; although they are all in plain sight sometimes it’s difficult to judge their exact position in the air when jumping. Generally a blue blob will be placed at the correct jumping position as a clue, should you miss any berries that you can't get back to, immediately suicide and replay that section again (bearing in mind each death eats into your fuel).

Level 7 - at the gates of the unknown

You start the final level at the finishing point, however the way is locked and cannot be opened until you collect at least 30 berries (for the trophy you will be collecting all 50).

Use the left hand windas to open the gate and continue passed the four switches to collect all of the blue blobs, return to the switches and activate in the order 3 4 1 2 (1 being the leftmost) to raise the steps. Continue up the steps and during the next section activate the far switch (farthest away from camera) at each choice, avoid the stone fists and continue to the gate.

After the gate stand on the far right of the platform (noted by a chalk arrow) and use your new power pull ability (Circle Circle) to move the block and activate the switch that starts the vertical stone fists moving. Using the blue blobs as a positioning guide, double jump onto the centre stone fists as it’s halfway down. Defeat the three enemies in the next section and power push the blocks to make the elevator appear.

At the top you encounter another enemy and the level’s first berries, power pull the plank under the gate at the end of the platform to open it. The next gate is opened by power pushing the four blocks below it, drag and use the block below the 3rd set of berries to jump through the gate.

In the next section where there are lots of movable planks on the floor, move the two closest to the house to reveal the switch that controls the next gate. After negotiating a number of platform jumps you will reach another enemy, defeat him and continue to the right over the stone fist to collect a missable berry. Return to the wooden path the enemy was guarding to activate a switch and drop down when the now moving stone fist is closed to continue. After a couple more enemies and platforms you will reach a windas and the end of this section (you should also have 25 berries at this point).

After descending on the elevator, this time take the right path and continue as far as you can go to collect another batch of blue blobs. Return to the ball dispenser and drag away the four planks to reveal sunken switches. Release one ball at a time by stepping on the central switch and carefully drag them onto each of the four sunken switches (be careful not to lose many balls as you only get six). Once you climb the steps you will pass two sections where you must push enemies into holes to continue, don’t worry if an enemy dies as another will spawn. To open the gate at the end of this section power push the block as it lines up with the switch. Defeat two more enemies to reach the large elevator, to make it appear power pull the two blocks behind the gates whilst standing on the central switch

At the top of the elevator move left to collect the next five berries and you will reach a gate with an enemy behind it. Move to the edge of the chute and power pull the ball before manoeuvring it onto the switch. On the next platform drag the block to open the gate and also use it to jump up.

After negotiating a few more tricky platform jumps you reach another gate with an enemy behind. Push the planks off the switch to the left to open the gate behind the enemy and then power push him off the platform to open the front gate. Continue straight passed the next block to defeat the enemy, go back to collect the block and drag it down to the switch to activate the stone fist. Collect the final six berries whilst jumping across the stone fist before returning to the lock at the start of the level to complete the game’s story mode.

Star Locations

  1. Starting on the left hand path, there is a section where there are 4 or 5 pairs of floor switches which each control a stone fist, activate the far switch (furthest away from the camera) at each set to reveal Star 1 just before the next checkpoint.
  2. Soon after the last star you have to perform a double jump past two vertically moving stone fists, ride up on one of these to reach Star 2.
  3. After you rise to the top section and start collecting cherries (still on the left hand path) there is an area where most of the floor is moveable. Move the planks between the switch and the gate to reveal Star 3.
  4. Once on the right hand path, to the left of the ball dispenser is a wall switch. Activate the switch with a wooden plank to reveal Star 4.
  5. At the first enemy is a hidden path behind the steps. Follow the path to activate a switch then go up the steps to collect Star 5 from the now open cave (directly above the switch).
  6. At the section where you have to pull the two wooden blocks off the switches after opening the gates, there is a hole between the two switches. Drop down to collect Star 6.
  7. After completing both the left and right hand sections and before riding the lift back down to the tree, the final Star of the game can be found in a (now open) cave directly above the tree.

Arcade Mode

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/170/04.jpg bronze cubes((B)) collect all cubes on any two bonus levels

You will earn this trophy for collecting all cubes on the first two levels.

Level 1 - jumping frenzy

This level breaks you into arcade mode gently, the only special abilities used are speed boost and double jump and also there is no fuel (time) limit to worry about. Take you time at the start and get used to the isometric perspective, use shadows throughout this mode to both position yourself when jumping and to locate cubes. About halfway through this level you'll reach two sideways moving platform you have to cross, jump as they start to move back into the centre and use your shadow to position your landing. After some further basic platforming this level ends with a section where you have to ride a moving platform whilst clearing obstacles (a taster of things to come later on), stay as close to the leading edge of the platform as possible to give you maximum time to jump the obstacles.

Level 2 - three pillars

After collecting the cubes and blue blobs at ground level (yes the clock is back for this level), activate the blue switch and move up the platforms (bear in mind these are timed and will disappear after a few seconds) towards the first checkpoint. Collect all cubes around the checkpoint before crossing the forcefield bridge, on the other side activate the switch and then repeat another timed platform section which leads to the next checkpoint (at which point you should have 25 cubes).

After the next bridge activate the switch and jump onto the timed platform on the right. This jump is made tricky by the fact that you can only single jump on this level. After landing the jump, wait a second and a bridge to the next platform will appear. Climb another section of timed platforms and you will reach a level with two raised switches, carefully push off the blocks to activate the next bridge and continue passed the level exit across another bridge and two more raised switches. Push the blocks off these and return to the now open exit.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/170/05.jpg silver cubes((S)) collect all cubes on any five bonus levels.

You will earn this trophy for collecting all cubes on levels three to five.

Level 3 - the castle of peril

Straight after the first checkpoint you have to climb a wall using timed platforms. Note the timing and pattern of these platforms as well as the position of the few solid ones and carefully cover every section of the wall to collect all cubes. Once you reach the next ledge hit the checkpoint and move around the base to collect all cubes (at this point you should have 63). Back at the checkpoint jump and follow the wall around to the right again noting the timing of the platforms and using the solid corners to draw breath. Don't worry too much about the batch of cubes directly above the checkpoint as you can pick this up shortly. Continue around to the right following the arrows and collecting all cubes until you reach the next ledge and checkpoint. If you missed any cubes above the previous checkpoint carefully drop down to the right to sweep these up and suicide to respawn back at the above checkpoint.

Collect the cube to the left of the arrow when the timed platform is closed and then jump up and follow the timed platforms around to the right again until you reach the next ledge and checkpoint (at this point you should have 121 cubes). Carefully push the three balls off the switches to activate the central moving platforms and ride them up to the end of the level.

Level 4 - swinging up

This level introduces seesaw platforms which are very easy to navigate; move to one end to raise the other and then speed boost and jump as required. As mentioned before using the shadows to position cubes is really useful in this level.

At checkpoint one you should have 27 cubes and this is followed by a tricky seesaw to platform section, aim for the middle platform at each stage and use your shadow to guide your landing. Time can run out very quickly on this level so collect as many blue blobs as you can, especially large ones.

Once you reach a section with 4 seesaws with many cubes in the centre, carry on passed to the next checkpoint before returning for the cubes. After collecting these (you should now have 64) return to the checkpoint and continue upwards. The remainder of this level is made up of straighforward seesaw sections.

Level 5 - rough ride

This is the first of two scrolling levels where you are constantly riding a moving platform (similar to the end of level one), keep as far forward as possible and use speed boost between jumps to reposition yourself. During the first section you have an awkward left hand platform and later a right hand platform to collect cubes from and towards the end of this section you have to move left and right to avoid walls, move using speed boost and remember that collected cubes stay collected even if you die. Therefore if you miss a couple of cubes don't suicide straight away especially if there are more awkward cubes just ahead, carry on to collect a few more first making your next run through that much easier.

This strategy is particularly useful during the next section where you have to drag a block through to use at the end, if you're having difficulty then ignore the block and just concentrate on cubes on your first run through. When you do drag the block make sure you go left as soon as you jump the force field ready to drag the ball onto the switch, before reaching the next checkpoint with 53 cubes.

The final section of this level sees you riding on various smaller moving platforms which is not too difficult as the remaining cubes are all on your natural path. Be wary of the centre obstacles towards the end and try to avoid the temptation to jump these as it's much easier to avoid them entirely by positioning yourself on the left or right hand edges of your platform.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/170/06.jpg gold cubes((G)) collect all cubes on all bonus levels

You will earn this trophy for collecting all cubes on levels six to ten.

Level 6 - pull a block

Thankfully this level slows things down a little, at the start drag the block firstly to jump the force field and then continue dragging it to the left hand switch at the end. Jump up to the now accessible right hand switch and pull the second block onto it to open the central force field. In the next section collect the cubes and then drag both balls onto their corresponding switches to spawn a bridge over the gap you just jumped, go back to collect the first block and drag it onto the right hand switch to continue.

After the checkpoint drag the block onto the first switch and then pull the other block from the second switch to activate the elevator. Once the elevator has reached the bottom, quickly drag the block on and ride up to the top. At the top manoeuvre the block onto the sunken switch on the left and activate the switch on the right to rise to the next section. After collecting the batch of cubes at the top, drag the block up the set of steps (using each switch along the way to raise the step behind you) and onto the final switch to lower the force field.

The final section sees you moving over a set of moving platforms, drag the block around with you and either jump or use the block to collect the cubes as you go. At the end jump on the block to reach the cannon. Push the ball into the hole marked with an arrow, activate the switch and then enjoy one of the mode's highlights as the cannon slowly raises and fires. Cross the newly spawned bridge to finish the level.

Level 7 - puzzle tower

Both this and the next level have no time limits so relax and enjoy the puzzling. Using push and pull move the block at the bottom left which then releases it into the open area. Then push the block onto both of the top centre switches (order doesn't matter) to raise the exit and open the right hand force field. After collecting all remainingg cubes move to the top right and activate the switch to rise to the next section.

On the bottom right you'll see a block and three switches, manoeuvre the block onto the bottom right switch to lower the force field in front of the bouncing ball and then use pull to drag the ball out into the open area. Next move the block back up to the top right switch and manoeuvre the ball onto the now open switch on the botton left of the section. Once the exit has risen again, pull the ball back out into the open and finally move the block onto the bottom left of the three switches. Move the ball onto the section's final switch on the very top left and head to the top right to rise to the level's final section.

On the final section, manoeuvre the block in the top centre area onto each of the three swicthes in turn to spawn three further blocks. Drag these blocks onto the three switches in the open area (each marked with an arrow) to open the level's exit.

Level 8 - tree keys to victory

At the start of this level collect the large cube directly in front of you to release the block, drag it to the left hand side of the level and use it to jump onto the raised section. Activate the switch to ride to the very top of the platform and collect all cubes including a further large one. Drop back down on the right hand side to collect some further cubes and head back to the centre of the level to collect the ball. Drag this to the left hand side and push it down the narrow channel between the force fields to open up that area. Collect all cubes (you should have 29 at this point) and drag both the ball and block over to the far right of the level.

Once again position the block in front of the raised section and return to the centre to grab the plank. Drag this up to the area where you just left the block and push it onto the top right switch to remove the force field in the raised area. Collect all cubes and drag the plank down to the bottom right switch (closest to the arrow). Push the ball down the narrow force field channel, collect all cubes in the final area and use the block to reach the level's exit.

Level 9 - the train

This is a tougher version of level 5 which once agains sees you riding a moving platform whilst collecting cubes and avoiding obstacles. At the start of the level power push the two stacks of blocks to set off, during this section you have to collect cubes and avoid force field walls as well as having to power push alternate right and left hand side stacks of blocks to activate switches and open gates. The level's first checkpoint is just after the next set of two block stacks and switches.

In the next section you have the added complication of having to move between different platforms first to the right, then to the left before returning to the right, at the same time as power pushing blocks and collecting cubes. It's extremely difficult to collect all cubes on a single run through so be prepared to die a few times during this section. On one run through concentrate on collecting all possible cubes, then on the next activate the switches to progress slightly further and so on making sure that something more is achieved on every life. At the start of this section activate the switches (by power pushing the blocks) as early as you can to ensure the three platforms overlap as much as possible and always use speed boost when moving.

Thankfully the 3rd and final section of this level is much easier. Move left and right following the path of cubes and make sure you power push every block stack early enough for the gates to open. Finally be ready for the double jump at the very end.

Level 10 - breaking the cells

At the start of the level go right at the black arrow to collect the cubes and blue blobs on the four small platforms, then return to the arrow and go forward. Power push the block in front of you then jump forward and repeat on the next block. Jump to the platform up and to the right and power push the block diagonally and to the right. Return to the previous platform and carry on moving ahead collecting the cubes on the two small platforms on the left. Return to the platform directly to the left of the ball and stand as close to the ball as possible whilst staying on the switch, power pull the ball keeping Circle pressed down to pull the ball towards you and hold it on your platform. Now very carefully release it on the switch and before it rolls off jump to the next platform, power push the block in front of you to rise to the next section.

Step on the switch immediately after the checkpoint when the moving platform to the left is farthest away to spawn a block on it. As the platform returns jump on the block to collect the cubes before pulling the block onto the main platform and the switch (that spawned it to begin with). Jump onto the next platform and collect all cubes on the two small platforms to the left and ahead. On the small platform ahead turn to the left and power push the block ahead before returning to the platform with the switch. Repeat the trick of section one and power pull the block to you and position it on the switch before carrying on across the next two platforms until you way is blocked by a force field. Here power push the block that spawns in mid air onto the platform in front of you. Move around to the right using the two small platforms and then power push the block off the switch you just pushed it onto. Continue across the next two platforms until you reach the point with the spawning ball and power push the ball into a switch as soon as it spawns, repeat until the elevator has risen up to the final section.

Hit the checkpoint before collecting all of the cubes to the right and left to earn the games's final trophy. Should you want (or need) to finish the level simply power pull the three blocks at the end of the platform to make the exit appear.

Thanks for the guide. I just picked up the game for $5 and am looking forward to playing through it. This guide should help.

BTW, I really like this game. I've only played the first level but the set up and the graphics are meshed well. I guess I'll know more how I like it once I get into the clocked levels. :)
