Gave it a 6. It's kinda hard to get all the trophies, as the controls are far from the best. Took me a while to get 100% on The Great Tree Story, and having played the DLC, (Pillar Of The Skies), for a few hours now, it don't really looks to be that much easier.

In fact, as for the game itself, Pillar Of The Skies seems way harder overall than The Great Tree Story, or maybe it's just me who haven't played it for a while, so I just have to "learn to play the whole thing" again.

The trophies in The Great Tree Story are far from impossible, but my guess is that most people will find the arcade mode ones the hardest, -some of these levels are nearly insane in difficulty, not all though. On the other hand, finding all the stars aren't that hard at all, without a guide it can be a bit tricky, (found all but one without guides), but with a guide - of course, it's a breeze.

Pillar Of The Skies seems to have harder trophies overall, but I haven't taken them all yet. Finish a level without falling is not easy, thanks to the sucky controls. Finish a level without touching the red dots on the other hand seems easier, and star location - the same thing as in the first game basicly. One thing I haven't tried at all yet in the DLC are the co-operative ones, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was actually even harder than in the original, seeing how everything else in the DLC seem to be more difficult.

But of course, it's a good game overall. As people are saying, the controls aren't the best out there, not the graphics/sound either, but it's a mostly fun, but sometimes kinda frustrating game experience. I would still say it's somewhat of a "must have" when talking about PSN-games, at least it's in the top 5.

Having played the game on casual, the Great Tree is a 2 in difficulty for me. The Pillar of the Skies is considerably harder than the first episode (I'd say a 4). Especially because of the trophies that require you to complete levels without dying.

It's very easy to miss a platform because when you jump, for instance, to the right, you are never completely certain that you will land to the exact right of your position, making it a bit challenging to "ace" levels.

So, a 2 for the first episode and a 4 for the second episode makes it a 3 to 100% the game.

Gave it a 3. Despite the terrible controls, the story mode is pretty simple, and the stars aren't too hard to find either. I didn't actually find much difficult about the arcade mode either, other than Castle of Peril making me want to throw my controller through the TV screen. Once you've got the controls down pat, it'll only take a few hours to finish it all off.
