Road Map

Introduction
Top Spin 4 is the latest release in the Top Spin series. Made by 2K Czech and published by 2K Sports. This game now makes this series the longest running multi-platform around. The game series has appeared on PC, Xbox, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii and Now the PS3.

Details about Latest Patch http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/top...atch-news.html

Step 1 – Game Begin & Top Spin Academy
Once the games has installed you enter the practice court. I highly suggest you have a little practice play before continuing. I would also recommend you play the top spin academy before you even start the career mode. A Good Start & Teacher Pet can be earned here by completing the whole academy.

Step 2 – Career Mode
Now I would highly suggest you play the CAREER mode but before you do you have to create a player in play mode. Each player has 20 levels; you get XP after every match that you can use to level up. Get to level 20 to unlock Completely developed.

Once you have saved your player, then go back to CAREER mode menu. You will then be asked to select your player and choose the difficulty level (Easy) don't play higher than Normal as it is much Harder when you get to Grand slams and you can't beat the AI. (there are eight career mode related trophies that will pop up with just general play) If by mistake you make the difficulty too high you can change it in the game options menu in the career menu. There have been a few reports of the game getting stuck at #2 Rank; just continue playing and you will reach #1 soon. To check your current Rank just got to the Ranking Menu.

Step 3 – Online
This part will most likely take the longest to complete due to the requirements of the online trophy. There are a few trophies that can be boosted Tennis elbow & Tennis teacher. The other 7 are much harder to boost but still possible if you and your friend are the only ones online. World Tour has 3 modes; Tournament, Direct match & Sparring Partner. I would suggest you play direct match First. Simply win one match to unlock Warming up; there are 15 levels for you to rank up. If you’re good enough at winning matches you will unlock You're not kidding anymore at level 15. Now for the hard one; Less than 24 hours is all about timing. You have to play a match while you’re in the top 100 with less than 24 hours in the season to go. You might need to wait a few months until the demand decreases to get this one easier.
Now you need to play a tournament; you just need to win one match to unlock First step of the tournament and finally win a Grand Slam to unlock this one: Always better the first time

Step 4 – Clean Up
This is just clean up of any trophy that you still need. You'll most likely still need King of the Court, The Undisputed King, More unlocks & 2K. There may be others but they will depend on your game play. Check the trophy guide below for details.

Dream match
CAREER - Win your first Dream Match.

This trophy is done when you’re playing career mode. You need to be a Superstar in order to be able to play a dream match and you can play a dream match via the special events menu in every month. All you have to do is win the match.

For the Flag
CAREER - Win a match for your country.

This trophy is done when you’re playing career mode. You need to be in the top 10 and the highest ranked player from your country. (So if you choose Spain, you need to be ranked higher than Nadel.) Once ranked higher enough you see a tournament called Tennis World Final or Continental Cup.

King of the Court
KING OF THE COURT - Play one King of the Court game.

To unlock this trophy, play one match of King of the Court. However the lowest number of games you can play is three so it will not pop up until you have completed all three. You can stack this trophy with the one below.

The Undisputed King
KING OF THE COURT - Win a King of the Court game without losing any sessions.

To achieve this trophy you need to win three matches; this can be done easier two ways.
Way One: Set the matches up and Win your three matches (3 Games / 1 Set) select "very easy" difficulty. The trophy will pop up after you have finished. (Credit to YokA_sun)

Way Two: this one is for people that don't want to play against the CPU Players. It's basically the same instead of the players being cpu players they are controlled by your 2nd, 3rd, 4th ps3 controller. This way works as I used this but I recommend you use option 1.

First step of the tournament
WORLD TOUR - Win your first Tournament match.

To unlock this trophy you need to Head over to the World Tour > WORLD TOUR and start playing the tournaments. You just need to win a match in a Tournament for this to unlock. Try one of the lower Tournaments as they have less players and most of the best players only play grand slams & direct matches.

Warming up
WORLD TOUR - Win your first Direct match.

To unlock this trophy you need to Head over to the World Tour > then Direct matc. You just have to win one. This could take some time (there is also a loading bug that from time to time will mean you have to restart the PS3.)

Always better the first time
WORLD TOUR - Win your first Grand Slam Tournament.

To attain this one you need to win a WORLD TOUR Grand Slam Tournament. Unless you're good at tennis this isn't going to happen for a while. (Suggest Waiting a few weeks until the peak moves over to Virtua Tennis 4)

You're not kidding anymore
WORLD TOUR - Reach a grade of 15.

To unlock this trophy you need get your rank to Level 15. This can only be done in WORLD TOUR; you basically need to win match after match and don't quit in the middle of a match because you lose rank that way.

Gender equality
WORLD TOUR - Play 20 matches in Male WT and 20 matches in Female WT.

This trophy is fairly straight forward. Go to the Play Station Network > WORLD TOUR, then you just have to play 20 matches in Male & Female. It's best to play the whole match as quitting mid-match lowers your Grade.

Less than 24 hours
WORLD TOUR - Play a match less than 24 hours before end of season when you are in the Season top 100.

This trophy kind of depends on how good you are at the game. For one you need to be ranked in 100 online if you are just starting a game within the last 24 hours of the season (Any time every Sunday is within the last 24 hours). However if you're not good this trophy will be impossible til the demand slows; wait until Virtua Tennis 4 comes out and this should become easier. Plus the leader board is reset every Sunday night, ready for the new season.

However if you’re lucky like me I got mine by just playing a match at 19 hours to go and it unlocked. I’m pretty sure I wasn't in the top 100. Worth a try!!

No pain, no gain
WORLD TOUR / CAREER - Complete 20 Special Objectives during Sparring Partner Trainings.

Caution: Possible Glitched Trophy. Quite a few of us have completed 20 objectives and got nothing. However after completing 50 objectives in Sparring Partner Trainings it finally unlocked.

I suggest trying this trophy in only one mode. I did mine in Career finally and it worked. So even though the trophy description says 20 Special Objectives, I would complete at least 50 before giving up and starting again in a new game save.

Don't forget if you play you can complete as many as 3 objectives per Match. How this is done is right below:

To achieve this you will have to drop the first game on purpose. The second game will grant you an objective. Complete the objective and drop the third game on purpose. The fourth game will give you an objective. Win the fifth game and the last game will give you an objective as well. (You will win every match 4-2)
This gives you the chance to complete three objectives per sparring match. Credit to Frankeu.

It's alive!!
Create a player.

If you have followed my road map above this should be one of the first trophies you unlock. To Unlock you need to Create a Player. Simply go to Player Mode > Create Player. When done Save & Quit and it will pop up straight after.

White board
Hire a coach.

This trophy is a Career Based trophy. To unlock it you just need to hire a coach. The First chance you get is at Level 2. Just hire the first coach you see and this will unlock. You can always change the coach to someone else better, later.

Golden boy
Unlock all the skills of a Gold Coach.

To unlock this one you need to be able to hire gold class coaches (unlocks at level 15) you then just have to fulfill their requirements. You might have to change a few times until you get one with easy requirements. You can check your progress in between matches when the coach's information appears on screen during the loading screen.

Completely developed
Reach a level of 20 with a created player.

This trophy is Career mode related; to unlock this one you need to rank up your player fully to level 20. Each match you play you get XP points that you use to level up via Player Evolution. It's in the Player menu. You Need a Total of 17,925 XP points to rank up to level 20.

Below is a List of each levels XP Required:

XP Requirements

• Level 1 - 100 XP
• Level 2 - 100 XP
• Level 3 - 125 XP
• Level 4 - 150 XP
• Level 5 - 175 XP
• Level 6 - 225 XP
• Level 7 - 300 XP
• Level 8 - 400 XP
• Level 9 - 500 XP
• Level 10 - 600 XP
• Level 11 - 700 XP
• Level 12 - 800 XP
• Level 13 - 900 XP
• Level 14 - 1000 XP
• Level 15 - 1150 XP
• Level 16 - 1400 XP
• Level 17 - 1700 XP
• Level 18 - 2100 XP
• Level 19 - 2500 XP
• Level 20 - 3000 XP

Someone else?
Beat all the 25 licensed players in any game mode.

This trophy can be done in two ways; one is play two career mode games and beat all the top players at one stage. Or play exhibition mode and then beat all 25 players one by one! If you have done career mode before you try this you should only have a few of the opposite gender to beat. Just found out that King of the court can be used also, Credit to: chalky83

"Tennis for two"
Win a doubles match.

Very simple trophy; can be done very easily. To unlock this one head over to exhibition mode; Select doubles, then whatever players you want; then just win the match. (One Set / 3Games will be enough.) Should you lose to the cpu this one is possible with other controllers if needed.

True Top Spin geek
Play 250 matches.

To complete this trophy you just need to play 250 matches, all matches count. (Career, Online & exhibition mode) (Just as a general guide each season has 12 Tournaments, with 4/5 matches in each, plus you have the option of Special matches, so guessing you play a couple you can quite easily play 60+ matches per career mode season). You will mostly need 4+ Full Seasons in Career Mode, plus about 40 Online matches to make up the 250 you need to unlock this trophy. You can check how many matches you have played in Career in the Stats area. I'm unaware of a way to check exhibition mode matches completed so my tip would be to keep notes yourself.

Tennis teacher
Win an online singles match (3 sets of 3 games / Super Tie-Break) without losing a game.

To unlock this trophy, Head to PlayStation network > Player Match > Singles Match, select your player, and set the game up with (3 sets of 3 games / Super Tie-Break), public or private is up to you. Then you just have to win every game in the match. (if you select private, invite a friend and play a match that way)

Tennis elbow
Lose an online singles match (3 sets of 3 games / Super Tie-Break) without winning a game.

To unlock this trophy, Head to PlayStation network > Player Match > Singles Match, select your player, and set the game up with (3 sets of 3 games / Super Tie-Break), public or private is up to you. Then you just have to Lose every game in the match. (if you select private, invite a friend and play a match that way) To unlock this trophy you must simply lose.

2K
Win 2000 points in any game mode.

This trophy will come normally with continued playing of the game. You need to score 2000 points. This can be done in every game mode. Don't expect this trophy to show up for some time as you will need to have played a lot of matches for this trophy to even be possible. At least 150+ matches will be needed.

Volley master
Score 150 winners at the net.

This trophy is one of those you get without trying too much. You need to score 150 winning shots: Get to the net quickly & finish the rallies off quickly. You should have been able to get 5+ each match, so as you can tell it will not take you very long.

Love the games to love
Win 25 games to love.

You should unlock this one without trying in Career mode; just win 25 games where your opponent doesn’t score. If have set your career mode to easy you should have no problem doing this whatsoever.
Remember: Minor Tournament Matches only count as one game.

Drop Shot artist
Score 20 winners on a drop shot.

This trophy will be unlocked along the way; you just need to win 20 points by a drop shot or if you’re hopeless at doing this against a CPU do it in exhibition mode via a 2nd controller. Best to attempt this shot when you’re inside the baseline, then try and get the timing right. Hit too soon or too late and the shot will go flat long. Good timing will get it hitting the serves box lines and Perfect timing should get it just over the net. Practice the shot in Practice court and you will get very good at it.

Inside-out
Score 30 winners with an inside-out shot.

This trophy will come with normal game play. Should you want to get it quick, head to the exhibition mode to Score 30 winners with an inside-out shot. ( is the button you need to hold + your shot selection.) Just as a general tip it's all about your placement to do a successful shot, you need to be beside the spot where the ball is meant to land, then hide + your shot selection and aim for a corner. Don't expect to get more than 2/3 per game.

Real Tennis format
Win a singles match in 5 sets / 6 games / No Super Tie-break.

To unlock this trophy you need to win a singles match in 5 sets / 6 games / No Super Tie-break, to do this you need to go into exhibition mode and set it to Classic tennis 6 set, 6 games, no tie break; pretty simple. You can do this by playing with two controllers or CPU whatever you like or feel like.

Sorry...
Win a point on a let.

This trophy requires a bit of luck. You have to win a point of the net cord. I got mine by hitting slices with too soon timing. The other player will mostly be running side to side so they want make it.
You will get this trophy with normal game play; at some stage you will hit the net with either a drop shot or slice, so don't panic.

Metronome
Win a rally of 8 strokes or more with only good and perfect timing (singles only).

To unlock this one requires good timing and a little luck. You need to get into a rally and hit 8 good and perfect timing shots in a row. Don’t try for it and you’ll mostly likely get it. I would suggest you try to do this trophy early in the career mode as once you get further into your career, it gets harder to judge the speed they’re returning the ball.

Rise of the Ball Machines
Play 50 balls sent by the ball machine in the Practice Ground.

Super simple trophy, Head to the practice court and just hit 50 balls back. There’s nothing to it. You could do this trophy with your eyed closed.

More unlocks!
Unlock 75% of the game.

To unlock this trophy you need to complete 75% of the game. You can check your percent by looking in Unlock Overview. Most Goals are unlocked in Career mode, but there are quite a few that will need to be done in exhibition mode. Once you have done 75% the trophy will pop up.

The Greatest
CAREER - You're now the greatest player in tennis history.

This is the final Career based trophy and will unlock as soon as you have met all the requirements below.
Most of the Requirements will automatically appear as completed when you get pass Legend requirements.

Requirements:

• Be a legend player.
• Win 2 International Competitions
• Win all the Dream matches

simpgraus, for a guide you need to use the trophy icons from this site, rather than direct linking to the eu.playstation site. If we don't have the icons posted, use the locked icon as a placeholder:

Also please add the description for each trophy.

You have to play direct matches . It is going to be the hardest trophy imo as 90 % of the matches I have played have been against level 20 players and 1 player I played was grade 20 If you lose your level drops
