My brother bought this game a while back and we finally got around to platinuming it. He's much more skilled at I, so he helped me out most of the way.

Incredibly short plat. Should take two days. Plus you need the peripheral (skateboard). Partially tricky challenges especially in Barcelona. Otherwise, straightforward.

5/10

I gave it a 6...

Reasons?

Whilst it's not overly difficult and could easily be achieved (read: i'd give it a 2 or 3) if it were on a normal DS3 instead of the board and had a control layout like the earlier Tony Hawk games. The challenge lies in mastering control of the peripheral... People familiar with skating would probably pick it up quicker than someone who hasnt, but it's definately a fun and new (also frustrating - but so is real skating) way to play.

I enjoyed it as I used to Skate at a very low competition level and found the movements required for certain tricks were very similar to what you really have to do... Granted after my first playthrough, I just sat down and used my hands to move the board around as required... I found that on expert, I was trying to actually Ollie & kickflip the board itself, did it once or twice and ralized I'd brake it if I wasn't careful
