Introduction:

Tomb Raider is a reimagining of the original Tomb Raider, that was released in 1996, and its protagonist Lara Croft.

The game has a very easy, albeit a somewhat time consuming platinum. Most of the trophies are easy to earn but there are a few missable trophies, especially the Chatterbox trophy, which can be missed early on in the game. There is also no difficulty related trophies or story based ones except for finishing the game.

There are some trophies that require a bit of grinding and exploration as well, but should come naturally. Fortunately none of the collectible related trophies are missable and collectibles can be found even after finishing the story. There are even in-game maps that will help you find them.

You will also spend a good amount of time online, to reach maximum level (Level 60) and to farm necessary amount of salvage to upgrade all your primary and secondary weapons for both factions, in addition to buying all playable characters. With the release of latest patch (v1.03), which changes the requirements for Shopaholic trophy, time spent on online portion of the game is dropped dramatically, though. Even so, you will spend at least 15 to 20 hours to reach max level, if you don't boost. This can be lowered to around 12-13 hours if you decide to boost, however.

Walkthrough:

SAVE CORRUPTION WARNING: On PS4 version of the game, there is a high chance your save will get corrupted if you Fast Travel to Shipwreck Beach, making you unable to continue or get 100% completion unless you backed up your data. Don't use Fast Travel to get back to Shipwreck Beach and complete everything on Shipwreck Beach and Cliffside Bunker before moving on. For a detailed explanation and to see how to prevent it, please check this thread: PS4 Tomb Raider Error save corruption explanation and prevention - PlaystationTrophies.org

Glitch Warning: There is a minor glitch on PS4 Definitive Edition of the game, where you may not be able to acquire one of the collectibles at Summit Forest area, which makes No Stone Left Unturned trophy missable/unobtainable. It seems this is a rare glitch as not many people have experienced it, but make sure to create a custom save and/or backup your data before you reach that point just in case it happens to you. Please check this post for more information.

Step 1: Play through the game once on any difficulty.

Every single player related trophies can be earned in one playthrough. Thereofre you can just relax and enjoy the story, while finding collectibles, completing challenges and raiding tombs as you go. There is an option to go back to the previous areas even after you finish the story to take care the rest of them, so don’t worry if you can’t find them all or don’t want to bother with them at that moment.

You can learn two of Lara's Survival skills - Advanced Salvaging and Bone Collector - early on to maximize your Salvage, which can be used for weapon upgrades, and not worry about farming them post game.

You should, however, pay attention to some of the missable trophies. One of the missable trophies, Chatterbox, requires you to talk to the Endurance crew members whenever you can. Even though most of the kill/combat related trophies can be gotten post game, enemies have varying respawn rates and it's best to earn these trophies before you are done with the story.

You can't reload your previous checkpoints to farm any kills or combat related trophies. However, you can create a custom save on any of the save slots in Pause menu under Change Save Slot, when you reach the area called Shantytown. 3 of the missable trophies (Epic Fumble, Deadeye, Boom Goes the Dynamite) can be earned after you reached this area, so you can reload that custom save if you somehow missed your chance further in the story.

Step 2: Post game clean up

If you decided to leave some of the collectibles and challenges during the previous step, load up your cleared game save to continue searching for them. Raid any optional tombs you might have left as well.

If you haven't upgraded all weapons or learned all of Lara's skill, you can Fast Travel to any location to kill and loot animals or enemies. Despite the respawn rates of enemies, you can also go for remaining kill or combat related trophies as you move back and forth between locations if you couldn't earn them.

Also if you had created a custom save like mentioned in the previous step, you can load that up and go for the 3 missable combat related trophies during this step. It's the best place to go for those trophies.

Step 3: Single Player clean up

You will clear remaining single player trophies during this step. You will need to start over if you missed a conversation for the Chatterbox trophy. Try to earn kill/combat related trophies as well, if you decided to leave them to a new playthrough.

Step 4: Online

During this step, you will take care of online trophies. You will spend a good amount of time as one of the trophies requires you to reach maximum level, which is 60. With the release of latest patch (v1.03) Shopaholic trophy requirements are changed and you no longer need to reach 3rd Prestige to unlock the trophy, but you still need to reach level 60 and buy every available weapon upgrade for both factions. If you are PS4 Definitive Edition owner, do not worry as the Shopaholic trophy works the same as patched PS3 version, so there is no need to get The General.

Fortunately, most of the trophies, including levelling up, can be boosted in private matches. But it takes 12-13 hours to reach maximum level even if you boost it. Levelling is not your only problem though and you also need to amass some amount of Salvage for Shopaholic trophy as well.

Note: Many people have experienced a glitch regarding Shopaholic after installing v1.03 patch. Please check Shopaholic trophy for more details.

Important Note: Since Online portion of the game is pretty much dead at this point (September 2013), I suggest you use Boosting Thread (PS3) or Boosting Thread (PS4) to find partners for most if not all online trophies.

Documents, relics and GPS caches are collectibles in this game and there are 171 pieces in total. 42 relics, 54 documents and 75 GPS caches. You can check how many and which ones you’ve found by pressing :select: and bringing up the map.

10 of the documents will be Lara's thoughts on the situation and are story-related. They will be added after certain story events, whenever you sit down near one of the base camps and open up the Camp Menu. The last one of these documents will be added during the last cutscene. Because of this reason you won't be able to earn this trophy until you finish the game if you've collected everything thus far.

None of the collectibles are missable and you can return to game world after you finish the story to search for remaining ones.

If you can’t find the collectibles, you can use your Survival Instinct by pressing :l2: and they will be highlighted in gold/yellow color. You can also learn one of Lara’s higher level skills Orienteering, which will improve Lara’s Survival Instinct while searching for hidden items. This skill will highlight the items through walls and add their locations to your map. But you might not be able to get certain items until you get necessary gear, so you can skip some and return later to get them.

There are treasure maps scattered as well, which will reveal all item locations on your map when picked. These maps are usually rewards for completing optional tombs. If you can’t find these tombs, you can learn another one of Lara’s skills, Cartography, which will reveal the location of every optional tomb and treasure map.

Here's a video of all treasure map locations in the game, courtesy of PowerPyx:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNmCAHaAMDw]Tomb Raider - All Treasure Map Locations - YouTube[/ame]

When their locations are revealed on your map, whether by Survival Instinct or treasure maps, you can add a custom marker on them and they will show up as blue light pillars when you activate your Survival Instinct, showing their exact location.

If you don’t want to bother with searching, here are the maps for all collectibles, in order of Fast Travel regions. Credits to k1ll1ng5pr33 for the maps:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/3E7.jpg Scrounger (B)

Collect 5000 pieces of salvage.

This will come naturally through normal gameplay and should be done together with Picky. This trophy is cumulative, so you don’t have to hold all 5000 on you.

You will earn salvage generally from yellow crates, big metal caches lying around or by searching the bodies of dead enemies. Simply stand next to them and press :square: to earn salvage. You can also earn 250 pieces of salvage whenever you clear one of the optional tombs in the game.

To increase the amount of salvage you recover and maximize your earnings, you can prioritize learning Lara’s Survivor skill Advanced Salvaging, which will increase the amount you get while searching crates and caches. Bone Collector skill helps as well, which will make animals drop salvage when you loot them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/4F3.jpg Picky (B)

Loot 200 enemies.

After you kill enemies, just go near them and press :square: to loot their bodies to get ammunition and salvage. Enemies will disappear from the map if you wait too long though, after about 1-2 minutes.

You can activate your Survival Instinct (:l2:) to see lootable enemies. Dead enemies will have a gold/yellow glow, if they can be looted.

You should earn this trophy without any problems if you loot every enemy you kill. There are more than enough enemies to be looted, so don’t worry if you lose some of them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/F38.jpg Clever Girl (S)

Purchase all skills in one category.

Please check Lethal for more details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/B87.jpg Lethal (S)

Purchase all skills in all categories.

There are 3 categories and 24 skills to be learned. You earn experience points by everything you do. Killing enemies, looting animals or a certain fruit, finding collectibles, completing a set of collectibles, clearing optional tombs etc.

You will earn extra experience when you kill your enemies with headshots or stealthily by getting close to them and pressing :triangle: (and tapping :square: until Lara learns to use her axe). There are also some higher level skills like finisher moves with each weapon set, which will increase the extra experience even further. It's a good idea to use Dodge Counter move on enemies whenever possible to incapacitate them and use weapon finishers when you buy them.

You should earn this trophy towards the ending, but don’t worry if you don’t. You can simply go back to a previously visited area, kill and loot animals to keep earning experience.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/98D.jpg Now We're Getting Serious (B)

Fully mod and completely upgrade any weapon.

Please check The Professional for more details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/CFA.jpg The Professional (S)

Fully mod and completely upgrade all weapons.

You can upgrade your weapons with salvage. There are 41 upgrades to complete but they won’t be available from the start. You will need to find certain amounts of weapon parts (usually 3 parts) to unlock next tier of upgrades. Also some weapon upgrades are story related, so you won’t be able to reach to next tier until you progress further into the story.

You can find parts from crates or by looting dead enemies, usually rare ones like shield or spear users, you might also get them as rewards for clearing optional tombs. The parts appear randomly. Types of weapon parts also appear randomly. Some people who use only one weapon can't get any other parts except the one they are using, others might find parts for other weapons as well. So it's a good idea to switch weapons from time to time to be able to find them for all your weapons, if you can't find any weapon parts except for the one you're using the most.

Here's a list of weapon upgrades and needed salvage, in order of availability:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/1E8.jpg Big Game Hunter (B)

Kill and loot 10 large animals (deer, boar, wolves).

This will probably be the first trophy you earn in the game. After you get your bow, kill every animal you see and loot them by pressing :square: while you are next to them. There are many deers in the first area where you get the bow and many wolves after your first encounter with them. Wolves don’t run away, but you might want to kill deers with headshots and with your bow fully drawn.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/CE8.jpg Tastes Like Chicken! (B)

Kill and loot 10 small animals (rabbits, chickens, rats).

Same as above. There are many rabbits in the same area as the bow. Rats are harder to kill, as they are somewhat quick but you can wait until you reach Shantytown. There are many chickens around. Just don't forget to loot them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/085.jpg Feather Duster (B)

Kill and loot 10 flying animals (crows and gulls).

Again, you can find many crows in the same area where you found your bow. You can also wait until you reached Shipwreck Beach for the seagulls. Simply killing them won't be enough, so don't forget to loot them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/502.jpg Sharp Shooter (B)

Perform 50 headshot kills in the single player campaign.

Most effective and easiest way of killing enemies is with headshots. You also earn experience bonuses from headshots. Therefore it’s a good idea to kill most enemies you encounter with headshots even after you've earned the trophy, at least until you learn finisher moves towards the end.

Be aware that, at later stages of the story, enemies will start wearing helmets, so you will have to break that first.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/EBC.jpg Predator (B)

Kill 50 enemies with the bow.

You should get this trophy fairly early in the game. Your first weapon will be the bow and you’ll use it for the most part, especially during early stages. Simply kill 50 enemies with the bow for the trophy.

Note that you can’t select reload checkpoint and keep killing enemies, as that won’t count as extra kills.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/4A0.jpg Equalizer (B)

Kill 75 enemies with the rifle.

You will get the rifle when you are inside the Mountain Base. It will be the third weapon you'll get. Kill 75 enemies using the rifle to earn the trophy.

Although you can't reload your checkpoint and kill the same enemies, you can still earn this trophy post game. Sometimes enemies will rarely spawn in previous areas, mostly in Mountain Village and Shantytown.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/3CB.jpg Widowmaker (B)

Kill 40 enemies with the shotgun.

You will get the shotgun when you are at Chasm Monastery. It will be your last weapon. Kill 40 enemies using the shotgun to earn the trophy.

Although you can't reload your checkpoint and kill the same enemies, you can still earn this trophy post game. Sometimes enemies will rarely spawn in previous areas, mostly in Mountain Village and Shantytown.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/6FC.jpg Gunslinger (B)

Kill 35 enemies with the pistol.

You will get the pistol when you are at Mountain Temple. It will be the second weapon you'll get. Kill 35 enemies using the pistol to earn the trophy.

Although you can't reload your checkpoint and kill the same enemies, you can still earn this trophy post game. Sometimes enemies will rarely spawn in previous areas, mostly in Mountain Village and Shantytown.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/FC0.jpg Epic Fumble (B)

Force an enemy to drop dynamite that kills two people when exploding.

This trophy is missable.

There will be a cutscene with Grim when you reach the second half of Shantytown and enemies will start throwing dynamite at you from that point on.

That is a good place to try and go for this trophy. Enemies will be relatively close to each other. Simply wait for an enemy to light the fuse of his dynamite and shoot him, but try not to kill him, so his dynamite can kill both him and another guy.

You can also create a custom save when you reach Shantytown using one of the other save slots, in case you miss your chance and finish the story. Thanks to F8L Fool for the tip.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/D05.jpg Get Over Here! (B)

Rope pull 5 enemies off edges.

At some point in the game you will find an automatic bow upgrade called Rope Arrows. After you get that upgrade, aim and shoot at enemies standing close to edges using alternate fire with :r2: to send one of the rope arrows and Lara will pull him automatically.

This works best on unaware enemies as they tend to evade the arrow after you’ve been seen. Also if they don’t fall down, quickly try again after they get up so they don’t change their position and get even further from the cliff.

You can get at least 3 kills soon after you get Rope Arrows. After the tutorial, you'll face 3 more enemies, all standing near the edges. There will be two cover spots that can be used by enemies, but they can also be pulled and destroyed with the Rope Arrows. Just take your time, take cover from enemy fire and molotovs and pull them off one by one.

Another good place is the Shantytown. There will be many enemies after you've unlocked another bow upgrade (Fire Arrows) on rooftops or near the edges of metal structures.

Try to earn this trophy in Shantytown or at least before you finish the story. Enemies in post game have very varying spawn rates and you might have some difficulty finding someone suitable. But if you somehow missed your opportunities and finished the game, load your save, Fast Travel to Mountain Village and you can sometimes find 3 enemies at the northwestern corner of Mountain Village, near the waterfall and broken bridge that leads to Base Approach. They are a bit hard to pull off, but it's possible. You can also try Shantytown. Sometimes enemies spawn on rooftops in post game, when you Fast Travel there.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/57F.jpg Opportunist (B)

Kill 25 unaware enemies.

There will be many opportunities to kill enemies silently. Just wait until they finish their talk and turn their backs at you, get behind them and press :triangle: when you are close enough.

You can also kill enemies with headshots using the bow. As long as enemies are not actively searching for you or shooting at you, any silent kill you get will count towards the trophy.

If there are more than one enemy and you can't tell which enemy to kill first, activate your Survival Instinct. The enemies that can alert others when killed will be shown in red.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/84A.jpg Down and Dirty (B)

Perform 15 finishers.

When you damage enemies enough, usually by shooting them in the legs, they will go down on their knees and a :triangle: prompt will appear on them. You will have a chance to perform a finisher when that happens. Quickly go next to them and perform the finisher or they might get back up. It is even easier to incapacitate enemies with Tier II Brawler skill Dodge Counter and finish them then. It will also count for the Former Adventurer trophy.

One thing you should be careful about is whether the enemy has any protective headgear or not. If they do, your first finisher strike will break the headgear, not killing the enemy. You'll need to perform another finisher to kill them. You can also destroy the headgear beforehand using a weapon.

Towards the end, you can learn Lara’s highest tier Expert skills, which will grant you extra experience when you finish enemies with the specified weapon. This is a very good way to earn extra experience and also works for this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/86B.jpg Deadeye (B)

Shoot 10 enemies off zip lines.

This trophy is missable.

Note: Create a custom save point by choosing an empty save slot in Pause menu under Change Save Slot when you reach Shantytown. If somehow you miss this trophy, you can load that and try again without needing to start over. Thanks to F8L Fool for the tip.

There aren’t that many enemies that use zip lines throughout the game, so try to kill as many as you can before they can set foot on the ground. You can try doing this at the same place as the Epic Fumble trophy. You won’t get all 10 though. Simply get as many kills as you can during this part. There will be more enemies towards the end of Shantytown, when you get close to Grim.

When you reach Gondola Transport, you can kill even more enemies here. There will be two zip lines, at right and left sides and most enemies will use zip lines to reach where you are, just use your rifle and kill them before they get down. If you don’t get the trophy here, reload your checkpoint and try again.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/B93.jpg Former Adventurer (B)

Incapacitate 25 enemies with dodge counter.

Dodge Counter is one of Lara’s second tier Brawler skills that you won’t be able to get until later in the game. After you learn it, get close to enemies and press :circle: when they are about to attack you physically, this will slow time down and a circle will appear on screen. Simply press :triangle: at right time to incapacitate your enemies. You can tell that you've incapacitated an enemy successfully if a finisher prompt appears over their head. You can finish the enemies then, which not only gives you extra experience but also works towards the Down and Dirty trophy. Dodge Counter must be done to 25 different enemies, incapacitating the same enemy 25 times doesn't work.

Try to get this trophy before you finish the game and start to incapacitate any easy enemy you find as soon as you learn the skill, as enemies in post game have very varying spawn rates and can be hard to come across. Also try to earn it before you learn Dodge Kill skill, so you don't accidentally kill the enemy instead of incapacitating him.

Dodge Counter only works on melee attackers so don’t try to do it against enemies that are shooting at you with guns, even if you are standing next to them. You can, however, make them attack you physically, if you attack them with your climbing axe. They will stop shooting momentarily and try to hit you with their weapons' butts or their melee weapons, before they continue shooting.

Another thing you should be careful about is that some enemies later in the game will have protective armor on their legs, so it will take more than one strike to incapacitate them.

There are 7 optional tombs to complete. All of the tombs feature some kind of puzzle and are easy to complete. You might need an upgrade before you can enter the tombs though.

You will be notified when you are close to a tomb. You can also learn the skill Cartography to reveal the locations of all tombs and treasure maps.

PowerPyx has created an excellent video guide, showing each tomb's location and solutions of their puzzles.

Complete one challenge.

Please check Inconceivable! for more details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/5FE.jpg Inconceivable! (S)

Complete all challenges.

Unfortunately challenges are some sort of extra collectibles you have to shoot, burn or light up and they don’t show up on your map. Therefore you have to be actively searching for them by pressing :l2: and activating your instinct. As with other collectibles, they will show up on screen with a yellow/gold glow. Good thing is they are not missable and can be gotten at any time, even after you finish the story.

Note: If you've already reached 100% completion in all areas and this trophy still hasn't unlocked for you, you most likely forgot Cliffside Bunker. Its location doesn't show up in Fast Travel menu and you have to get there through Shipwreck Beach. It's the area you pass when you make your way to Endurance wreck.

There are 13 different challenges with varying number of items. You can find their locations below in spoiler tag, video courtesy of PowerPyx.

Complete the game.

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed. Simply finish the game on any difficulty of your choice and you will earn it.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/350.jpg Boom Goes the Dynamite (B) (H)

Shoot a bundle of dynamite out of the air.

This trophy is missable.

You can attempt this in the same level as Epic Fumble. There will be at least 3 bundles of dynamite each time in short intervals. Switch to your rifle and shoot the dynamite before they reach the ground. You can keep trying as the game won’t continue until you kill all enemies in the area. Just don’t forget to evade the dynamite that reach you.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/83D.jpg Chatterbox (B) (H)

Complete all conversations with the Endurance crew.

This trophy is highly missable.

You have to talk to the Endurance crew whenever you have the chance to do so, before continuing the story. They will have a :square: prompt above their heads if you can have a conversation with them. Just talk to them each time until the prompt disappears.

Here's a list of conversation opportunities:

Thanks to PowerPyx and JimmyHACK

[spoiler=chatter]

Note: Sometimes characters will have dialog amongst themselves. During this time you can't talk to them. If a :square: prompt doesn't appear when you are next to them, it's most likely that they will have some lines before you can talk.

Note 2: After you had every conversation with that character, the TR symbol will appear and game will auto-save.

Note 3: Conversation #2 is confirmed to be not needed for the trophy, but there have been recent reports that people are not earning the trophy because they either missed or skipped it. So have that conversation as well just in case.

#1 - Coastal Forest - After Lara and Whitman try to open the large gate, talk to Whitman before searching for 50 pieces of salvage. If you've already found at least 50 pieces of salvage, do NOT walk away from him until you have all available conversations.

#2 - Coastal Forest - Right after #1, talk to Whitman after you've found at least 50 pieces of salvage, before upgrading the axe. If you still can't get him to talk, upgrade the axe and try talking to him while he is waiting by the crank. - Thanks to mjc0961 for the info.

#3 - Mountain Village - You'll find Roth getting attacked by wolves. After the scene, you'll need to get Roth's bag back. Roth will give you a climbing axe when you return and tell you to climb the rocks in front of you. Instead get back and talk to him.

#4 - Mountain Village - Shortly after getting the Rope Arrows you will get back to Mountain Village and meet Roth again. Talk to him before you use the zipline and search for the pilot.

#5 - Shipwreck Beach - After the events at Gondola Transport, you'll reach Shipwreck Beach. Before you go searching for the item, talk to Sam, Reyes and Jonah.

#6 - Shipwreck Beach - After you found the item and get back to camp, Whitman will show up and soon after you'll get a new bow. Talk to Whitman, Sam, Jonah and Reyes at the beach camp, before you make your way to Endurance. Reyes is on the boat.

#7 - Shipwreck Beach - After coming back from the Endurance, talk to Whitman, Reyes and Jonah, before you go to Research Base.

Online Trophies

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/86F.jpg Adventurer (B)

Complete a match in all multiplayer modes.

There are four multiplayer modes (Rescue, Team Deathmatch, Cry for Help, Free-For-All) and you have to complete a match in each one. Note that you have to finish a match and not just a round but if you join a game that is already in session, that will count. You can also choose either Ranked or Casual, it won’t matter.

Note: You can check your progress for this trophy and all other multiplayer related trophies by choosing Feats & Setbacks from MP main menu. They will be under Trials section.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/4EF.jpg Artilleryman (B)

Kill 20 enemy players in multiplayer using a turret.

You can find a turret on the maps Beach, in the center of the map under the gondola transport, and Underground, on top of the submarine. Kill 20 players to unlock the trophy. This trophy is cumulative, so you don't have to kill all 20 in one round or match. You can even boost it in private match with your friends.

You can also speed up this process a bit by boosting it in a Rescue match with 2 Survivors and a Solarii, with Solarii player using the turret. Each time the Solarii player downs a Survivor, it will count as a kill for this trophy. Then other Survivor player can revive their teammate, so you don't need to wait for respawn. Just repeat the process until Solarii player reaches 20 kills. Thanks to F8L Fool for the tip.

Please check Boosting Thread (PS3) or Boosting Thread (PS4) to find partners.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/206.jpg Down Boy! (B)

Kill a zip-lining enemy player in multiplayer.

You have to kill a player that is zip-lining. You need to kill the player before they reach the ground. You will probably get this trophy early in multiplayer but if you don’t, it can be boosted in a private match.

Please check Boosting Thread (PS3) or Boosting Thread (PS4) to find partners.

Despite it says "Kill a zip-lining enemy", you can kill an enemy player that is using the rope ascender tool. Just stand near the upper part of the zipline, equip a shotgun or similarly strong weapon and wait for your boosting partner to jump on the zipline and use his rope ascender (rope ascender is available for any player in FFA matches). Blast him away as he reaches the top.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/89A.jpg Entrapment (B)

Catch a player in a snare trap in multiplayer.

There are many snare traps in each map, which you can set up by pressing :square: near them. If an enemy player gets caught in the trap, you’ll unlock the trophy.

It’s fairly easy but you can boost it in private matches if you want. Please check Boosting Thread (PS3) or Boosting Thread (PS4) to find partners.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/E3C.jpg Escapist (B)

Survive 10 explosions in multiplayer.

You have to let an explosion go off near you and survive the blast for this to count. Any explosion will do: grenades, explosive barrels or even mines.

You can do this by using your own grenades as well. You can find more explosive ammo in yellow crates on each map, if you don’t want to wait to be killed and respawn. To make things easier, you can equip Survival Skill Grenadier for Survivor faction, which reduces explosion damage and play on Underground map, as there are 5 yellow crates, 3 of which are really close to each other, to replenish your explosive ammo. Thanks to F8L Fool for the tip.

This trophy can be boosted in private matches. Please check Boosting Thread (PS3) or Boosting Thread (PS4) to find partners.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/313.jpg Good Samaritan (B)

Revive a teammate in a multiplayer match.

You can revive your teammates in Rescue game mode and you have to be on the Survivors side. When they are downed, you will see a skull above them, run towards them and press :circle: to revive them; though if you are not quick enough, they will die eventually.

This trophy can be boosted in private matches, with at least 3 players. Please check Boosting Thread (PS3) or Boosting Thread (PS4) to find partners.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/A07.jpg I'm all that! (S)

Win a ranked match in every multiplayer mode.

There are 4 multiplayer modes (Rescue, Team Deathmatch, Cry For Help, Free-For-All) and you have to win a ranked match in all of them to earn this trophy. You will get this most likely when you go for other multiplayer trophies, if you plan on earning the trophies legitimately.

Since the online portion of the game is pretty much dead at this point, you might want to consider using the method explained in this thread to make things easier: I'm all that! Easy way. Be aware that this method does not work on PS4 version.

Free-For-All and Team Deathmatch are your standard MP modes.

Rescue is similar to Plunder in Uncharted series. Survivors try to capture medical supplies while Solarii try to stop them. However, Survivors won't die immediately when you lower their health to 0 and will be downed instead. You should get close and press :triangle: when the prompt appears to finish them off. They will die eventually if you leave them be, but there is always a chance that they will be revived by their teammates.

Cry For Help is similar to Domination or Turf War. There will be radio transmitters on maps for Survivors to activate/capture, while Solarii will try to kill them and steal the radio batteries, dropped by killed players. Batteries of fallen players can also be picked up by teammates.

The most troublesome mode should be Free-For-All for most people but it is somewhat boostable. When you are in a lobby, choose to invite your friends. With luck there won’t be any players other than you and your friends, especially if no match is found and you are the one that created the lobby.

Also, getting tied for top score on FFA matches won't count as a win. You must be the only one with highest score for it to count. Thanks to heartagram_62 for the info.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/EF0.jpg Sole Survivor (B)

In multiplayer, be the only player on your team that isn't dead or downed.

You have to stay alive after all your teammates are dead or downed at the same moment, not for whole round or match. If there are fewer teammates, then it’s even easier.

This trophy can be boosted in private matches. Please check Boosting Thread (PS3) or Boosting Thread (PS4) to find partners. Thanks to FFVS13 Prince Noctis Mike for the confirmation.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/831/811.jpg Lights Out (B)

Kill 10 multiplayer enemies using your melee attack.

Press :triangle: to use your climbing axe and deal a melee blow to your enemies. You can hold the button to execute an automatic attack that will kill anyone in your path or stand behind an enemy for a stealth kill.

An easier way to do this is to play Rescue on Solarii side. Solarii need to kill Survivors with a melee strike to win the game in this mode and each kill will count towards this trophy.

This trophy can be boosted in private matches. Please check Boosting Thread (PS3) or Boosting Thread (PS4) to find partners.

A24.jpg Master Blaster (B)

Kill 2 multiplayer enemies with a single explosive.

Any explosive works, grenades or mines. Survivors start with a grenade launcher as their initial equipment on level 1. Press  to select it.

This trophy can be boosted in private matches with 3 people. Please check Boosting Thread (PS3) or Boosting Thread (PS4) to find partners.

38A.jpg Monkey Around (B)

In multiplayer, escape death 3 times by using the rope ascender.

Rope ascender is a piece of equipment that lets you climb up the zip lines automatically and at a faster rate. Press :square: when you are on a zip line to ascend using rope ascender.

This can be boosted in private Free-For-All matches, as in some modes only Solarii have the ascender tool. Let your partner shoot you until you have less than 25% health and your screen starts to go black and white, then jump to zip line and press :square:. Do this 3 times to unlock the trophy.

Please check Boosting Thread (PS3) or Boosting Thread (PS4) to find partners.

39F.jpg Narcissistic (B)

Purchase a new multiplayer character.

Simply purchase a new character when you unlocked them using your salvage.

A32.jpg On My Way Up (B)

Reach level 10 in multiplayer.

Please check True Commitment for more details.

EA5.jpg Shopaholic (B)

Buy every upgrade and character in multiplayer.

Note: With the release of latest patch (v1.03 for Retail version, v1.02 for Digital and some EU copies), The General character is no longer needed for this trophy. This also applies to PS4 version of the game.

This will be the last multiplayer trophy you will get as one of the characters requires you to reach level 60, max level.

Don't forget to collect as much salvage as possible, whether during normal play or boosting sessions. You will need around 36,000 Salvage for all characters (thanks to Makino for confirmation). You won't need to collect salvage for weapon upgrades, if the glitch below works for you, though.

This trophy could be glitched in a good way. The trophy unlocked for many people who posted in this thread after they've bought all characters (minus The General) and nothing else. Just buy every available character including Lara, who is unlocked at level 60, quit the game and reload. When the game starts and checks your trophy data, Shopaholic should unlock.

For PS4 version, please check this thread: shopaholic clear instructions 9 (wrk confirmed as of patch 1.04) for a glitch that lets you unlock the trophy before you reach level 60. This glitch may not work on PS3 version.

5D9.jpg True Commitment (S)

Reach level 60 in multiplayer.

This will come naturally if you are going for Shopaholic trophy. You need 1,771,100 experience to reach level 60. Depending on your skill level or whether you will boost it or not, it will take at least 15 to 20 hours to reach level 60. Also, you won't unlock the trophy until the end of your current round/match.

Please check Boosting Thread (PS3) or Boosting Thread (PS4) to find partners.

It is possible to boost this trophy with friends or even solo. If you plan on boosting solo, you might want to check the video below for solo method in private matches. Credit to OblivionX360A for the video:

A 2-player-method is found by Yoda91192. To learn the details, please check this thread:

Multiplayer - TWO player boost method

Yet another boosting method with 2 people is found by Eirulan. Check this post for details. Credits to Lalilu170101 and DJ-ONeill from Trophies-PS3.de forums for original method.

Lastly, there is a third method from Alexstunts, which requires 3 people. You can find the details regarding the method here: MULTIPLAYER- 600 000xp/hour, PRESTIGE 4 in 15-20hours ! - Coop Method by Alexstunts

All methods are equally great and will grant you the most amount of experience in fastest way possible so choose whichever method you prefer.

It's a minor detail, but if you use any boosting method (or play normally) and quit the game after you complete a round and not the whole match, Matches Quit count on your profile will increase by 1. Again, a small detail, but I thought it's worth mentioning.

nice guide!!

if you want i have tomb solution videos @

for chatterbox here are the times to talk:

[spoiler=Chatter]Before trying to open dual crank door with Whitman, talk to Whitman.

After Roth gives you climbing axe, talk to Roth.

When you have to reach the smoke beacon, before descending down the mountain.. Talk to Roth

On shipwreck beach (day time) before heading to the Galleon, talk to Sam, Jonah, and Reyes.

Before heading to the Endurance wreck, talk to Jonah, Sam, and Whitman at the camp, and Reyes back at the boat.

The last talking part for Chatterbox is night time on the shipwreck beach "Return to the survivor camp and speak to Jonas, Reyes, and Whitman then the trophy will unlock" before climbing to the research base.

So that is the last conversation part and it should pop if you talked to everyone you could until they had nothing left to say.

and Freelencer's video is great for "epic fumble" because it is an easy to spot location when playing and has an explosive barrel to help with the kill count: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LE2m0umLiwU]Tomb Raider: Epische Fehlleistung Trophy - YouTube[/ame]

Are you sure The Professional is missable?

As there are still enemies at the end of the game..

It's missable if you stick to one weapon. Then they don't drop weapon parts for other weapons. I couldn't find any other parts because I was using the bow and rifle mainly. It was only after I started switching them, they started to show up, as my last upgrades were for shotgun and pistol.

Of course there are some obligatory upgrades you need to get through story progression before you can unlock the next tier, but I was past those already.

Ok, but will enemies still drop weapon parts at the end or not?

I'm missing one weapon part for my pistol..

(And I just completed the game.)

There is no enemy respawn after you complete the game. Or at least I haven't seen any yet. I was going through the areas for Former Adventurer trophy.

I've come across several enemies already after completing the game.

So there are still some left.. got Former Adventurer after story completion.

;)

Ok, I'll go through the areas again then. I'll update the guide accordingly. Unfortunately I can't confirm if they drop parts after game's completion as I found them all before the end.

You can also find them at the end of optional tombs and sometimes in yellow crates, check them and see if you missed some of them.

excellent work and go for that Plat ns101 ;)

Hope this gets stickied...

Thanks!

Nice guide. And 70+ hrs MP, srsly? Fuuuuuu--

Yes, unfortunately you need to reach 3rd Prestige to unlock one of the MP characters. That's level 60, three times. Also, I don't have it yet but apparently that last character unlocks at level 57 or 58, so that's almost 4 tiers of Prestige total.

Escapist

Survive 10 explosions in multiplayer.

You have to let an explosion go off near you and survive the blast for this to count. Any explosion will do, grenades, exploding barrels or even mines. You can find more explosive ammo in yellow crates on each map, if you don’t want to wait to be killed and respawn.

For this, it's easier to lob a nade, then roll nearby. If you're close enough instead of dying you stumble from the roll and take damage. From a "safe" distance you can roll into the nade, and get the stumble.

Believe it's the stumble that counts. Do it 3x in a match and there's a feat popup. The 10 survives stack across matches.

I noticed if you do this without rolling, and just stand there, it's much much harder to survive the explosion. In fact I was never able to survive one if I just stood there, tho I suppose it doesn't mean it's impossible. Just much easier to pull off if you roll into the explosion.
