Introduction: Welcome to Splinter Cell: Blacklist, another Splinter Cell game brought to you by Ubisoft. In this game you are part of an elite counter terrorist unit called the Fourth Echelon, set up by the president. Your identity; special agent Sam Fisher. Your job; protect the world, yourself, your teammates, and your command center from annihilation. Trophy wise, Ubisoft has included the typical collectible trophies in this game along with their like for co-op trophies. You will gain most without noticing. You also have your typical multliplayer trophies luckily these can be all gained via a private match mostly on your own. If you need help for boosting needs please visit the Trophy Boosting Thread. Walkthrough: Step 1: Complete the Single player on Perfectionist while going for Tactical style: Ghost and No Kill Option Engaged When you first start a mission you will have the option to change the difficulty. To do this press until you reach perfectionist, then keep it on that all the way through the campaign. Once you have control of Sam Fisher (when he changes into his op's suit) it's advised to switch from Lethal force to Non-Lethal. To do this, bring up your weapon's cycle by pressing then pressing . For Tactical Style: Ghost it's best advised to have your gadgets as stun gun (upgrade to the crossbow as soon as possible), smoke grenades, sleeping gas, and sticky noisemakers to lure guards away. You can maximize your points by leaving guards undisturbed. Whilst going for these, it's best advised to upgrade your Paladin's Command and Control to level 2 as soon as possible because this will reveal all secondary objectives including HVT's (High Value Targets), Laptops and Dead Drops. Upon completing this step you will have unlocked the following: Asset Retrieval Ambush Escaped American Consumption Prevented Terrorist Factor Turned Tracker Placed Iranian Intel Retrieved American Freedom Averted Infiltration/Interrogation Paladin Restored American Fuel Engaged 4th Echelon Status Confirmed 4th Echelon Commendation 4th Echelon Officer No Kill Option Engaged Tactical Style: Ghost Step 2: Co-op with collectibles By now you should be familiar with how the game works. When you're in the SMI (Strategic Mission Interface) press :r1:/:l1: to filter missions. The ones you are looking for are the 4E missions. These missions are from your teammates. Grim, Charlie and Kobin can be done solo while Brigg's missions need to be done with 2 players. You can do these local/online though it's best advised to do them split screen with 2 controllers. Upon completing this step you will have unlocked the following: Combined Ops Successful Infiltration Operator Extraction Operator Combined Operator Hunter Operator Step 3: Multiplayer + Daily and Weekly challenges This is where you will be spending most of your time. Luckily, all these trophies can be achieved via private matches. This includes weekly + daily challenges. Support Ops is the only trophy where you will need a second player on hand. Upon completing this step you will have unlocked the following: ShadowNet Online Officer of the Day Seven Day Duty Shift Support Ops Lethal Versatility Firearm Accessed Personal Kit Trusted Agent Rated Hacker Rated Intel Courier Rated Aggressor Step 4: Clean up of miscellaneous trophies These can be obtained via chapter select. Just make sure to complete each trophy's requirements. Upon completing this step you will have unlocked the following: Upgraded Gear Accessed C&C Optimized Tactical Style: Panther Tactical Style: Assault Evidence Concealed Distraction Tactician Tri-Rotor Functionality Enhanced Lethality Demonstrated Hostile Shield Secured Hostages Secured Mission Footprint Zero Elite Killing Team Lead Interrogator HVTs Secured Intel Acquired Data Security Decorated Agent Edited October 20, 2023 by Viper Removed the server closure notes. Combatting
Decorated Agent Collect every Trophy Get all the other trophies to obtain this one. 4th Echelon Status Confirmed Complete the single player campaign See 4th Echelon Officer 4th Echelon Commendation Complete every single player mission on Realistic difficulty See 4th Echelon Officer 4th Echelon Officer Complete every single player mission on Perfectionist difficulty It's best advised to combine this with No kill option engaged and Tactical style: Ghost this includes stealth knockouts and evading guards. Some features you need to be aware of: No restocking of ammo or customizing gear. No Mark and Execute available. AI's are a lot stronger. Detection meter fills up faster. You can't see through walls with sonar goggles. Hints and Tips: Always use cover. Upgrade to the crossbow as soon as possible and purchase sleeping gas. Lights can be shot out. This helps you with cover. Also, try to shoot out the CCTV cameras. Upgrade your paladin, then upgrade your suit to maximize stealth. HVTs Secured Capture 20 High Value Targets If you've purchased the Command and Control Level 2 upgrade, this will show all secondary objectives on the map. To take down HVT's you can use sleeping gas, stealth knockouts/takedowns, and you can use the sticky shocker. For heavy gunners, it's best to throw smoke and come in from behind to do a stealth takedown since your stealth gadgets are useless against them. Once they're down press to bag & tag them. For it to save you will need to advance to the next checkpoint. You can check whether you've missed any HVT's via the SMI (Strategic Mission Interface) and pressing / . For all locations you can refer to this video: (Credit goes to Powerpyx) Intel Acquired Collect 24 Dead Drop flash drives Once again, if you've purchased the Command and Control Level 2 upgrade, these will show up on your map as a secondary objective. Press to pick them up. These save automatically once you have picked them up, so if you're cleaning them up, you can just abort the mission after collecting them. For all locations, you can refer to this video: (Credit goes to Powerpyx) Data Security Hack 23 Blacklist Laptops Once again, if you've purchased the Command and Control Level 2 upgrade, these will show up on your map as a secondary upgrade. Press and hold to hack them. It is advised to take down the area quietly since if you are spotted the laptop will be destroyed. These save automatically, so if you're just cleaning them up you can abort the mission after collecting them. For all locations, you can refer to this video: (Credit goes to Powerpyx) Upgraded Gear Accessed Purchase every upgrade for one gun You can either do this in a mission while playing on rookie, cleaning up the misc. trophies, or speak to Charlie on the upper floor of your plane. You can either fully upgrade your pistol or the alternative weapon that you will be using the most. If you are doing it in a mission, make sure you press instead of holding it otherwise you will restock your ammo, then you won't be able to use the gun case again. C&C Optimized Fully upgrade your headquarters It is best advised to upgrade this first before anything else. To do this, speak to Grim on the plane. There are 2 upgrades to buy: Level 1 and Level 2. Tactical Style: Ghost Master Ghost playstyle on 7 missions If you were playing on Perfectionist and going for the No Kill Option Engaged trophy, you should have gained this in step 1 of the roadmap. To maximize your points try to evade guards. Though you can gain points for stealth knockouts as well. Note: When launching the mission, you can check how many points you need and what level you need it to do on. Most of the time it will be normal difficulty. Tactical Style: Panther Master Panther playstyle on 7 missions If you want to clear this up quickly do Kobin's 4E Co-op missions and just go for silent kills if you are short get detected as more enemies will spawn. Then just do either Grim's missions or short campaign missions. To maximize your points on the campaign, the best way is to evade guards. Again, you'll have to play on normal difficulty. Tactical Stye: Assault Master Assault playstyle on 7 missions If you're the sort of person who likes to go all out guns blazing, then this should come as no problem. Try to get Combat knockouts/kills while trying to make a chain 1 after the other in order to maximize your points. Again, you'll have to play on normal difficulty. Evidence Concealed Hide 5 bodies in containers This can be gained as early as mission 1 from the start. To hide a body press and hold when you reach a container. Note: Throwing a body into a container by pressing doesn't count. For further information, you can refer to this video: (Credit goes to Powerpyx) Hostages Secured Save the hostages in the Transit Yards It's best to make sure you keep your sleeping gas available. It's also best advised to do this on rookie difficulty. When you reach the part where you break the window, take down the two guys on the left, then go through the doors behind you. Once through the two doors, select sleeping gas on your weapon cycle, then throw it in the middle of the enemies. This should knock them all out. For further information, you can refer to this video: (Credit goes to Powerpyx) Mission Footprint Zero Complete a single player mission without being detected during gameplay If you're going for No Kill Option Engaged this should come without even trying. Combatting
Very nice work Combatting. A group of us played Ghost Recon. Now you've made me want to play this game. It's not that bad tbh. Single player was a hidden gem for me. Everything related online can be got through private match via yourself pretty much apart from the one's I've mentioned. Co-op wasn't a hassle aswell, needed my brother for one of Briggs's missions and that was about it.
rotoninja
Great work the guide. I was going to do one, but I saw you recently completed it so I figured you'd be all over it. I like how you added recommended Paladin upgrades for the Stealth playthrough. I can confirm you can complete Daily/Weekly challenges in a private match. My weekly challenge was to defend 50 uplinks and me and a buddy did it. Some of the challenges can completed SP or MP as well (e.g., 100 headshots.) I'd also recommend to complete Assault and Panther styles on Realistic difficulty as well. You have a higher score multiplier and you're able to keep the Mark & Execute function to enable the chain kill bonuses. Depending on the missions, you can even knock out both if done correctly (like the embassy missions.) Edited August 21, 2014 by rotoninja

You can get an assist as a spy if you're if the range of that "dome" if you're partner completes a hack. The online pretty much requires two players yourself and another person. You one team, and your partner on the other. Support op's is the only one you both need to be on the same team then the person going for it just hangs back for a "major assist". I did that in a closed private lobby. Since while in the lobby the other person can switch teams.

number45_
Nope, just load up Uplink control. Do you need to play it with a second person and set it up like support ops, hence the redirect. Or could it have been patched? Lethal Versatility didn't pop for me until I'd won a round of every game mode including TDM. All bar TDM I played a private match myself but TDM you need to kill someone to stop it being a draw so I ended up joining a game online.

number45_
I guess this is the case I will edit the guide in a mo. I followed the old guide, though I did have two copies of the game at the same time, so I was self boosting, and I wasn't paying much attention. It would also be good if you could add more information about how / whether you can self boost the Briggs missions. I tried self-boosting the missile plant one but got stuck when you have to escape before the doors close as I couldn't use the 2 controllers at the same time well enough to get both guys out in time. I know some people are able to do things like that but it may be wise to include a note that there are sections in the missions where you have to control both characters simultaneously which some people may find difficult.
