Boogey Men

I'd be curious to see others' suggestions on this too. But I usually do okay with one or two boogeymen. Change direction a lot as this sometimes seems to confuse them. Or, if there's a narrow landbridge they often won't follow you onto that. In the sandy levels, stay off the sand as much as possible. (These suggestions are the same for most enemy types.)

When you really get onto a screen with a large population of boogeymen, if I have one I like to use the boombox. This makes them stop to dance and become visible. Use this to either make your escape, or if you have a slingshot or tomatoes, pick them all off (they only take two hits I think).

In my experience the boogeymen are probably the second most troublesome enemy, after the lawnmowers. The ice cream trucks are tough too but not as plentiful.
