Back To Outer Space!http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_gold.png [TJ&E] Clear a Random World. See "Smell Ya Later, Earth!" below for details. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1758/B9F.jpgSmell Ya Later, Earth!http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png [TJ&E] Clear the Fixed World. In this game, you have the ability to play a fixed game, in which items, enemies, ship locations, etc are always in the same place, or to choose a random game, where everything is different every time you play. Remember, no matter what mode you choose, the game only lasts 25 levels. First timers are recommended to try "Fixed" first to get a feeling for the game. For additional help, consult the link below for maps of the fixed world: Toejam and Earl: Maps (thanks to stamp37 for the link) http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1758/194.jpgThe Long Road To Funkinesshttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png [TJ&E] Obtain a rank of FUNK LORD. TJ&E actually has a sort of leveling up system in which your character's life bar will increase (as well as earn extra lives after every 3 upgrades). In order to gain additional XP points (which you can view in the Presents menu), you must -explore as much of every map as much as possible -use as many Presents found in your inventory Again, it is recommended to use the Fixed World (and the maps in the link above) in make this super easy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1758/9F5.jpgThe Mailbox Ate My Mailhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png [TJ&E] Defeat a Demon Mailbox. Usually, you can use the bucks you find to order additional items from a blue mailbox. In the later levels, some of these boxes will attack your character. You can tell by waiting for the mailbox to blink. In order to defeat this foe, your character needs a tomato or slingshot item, and continuously pelt the demon box from a distance until it dies. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1758/D0A.jpgFallen Angelhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png [TJ&E] Defeat a Cupid. Cupids are annoying enemies who reverses the controls of our character on-screen. To defeat them, select the Icarus Wings or Spring Shoes presents and simply touch them to knock them out of the sky. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1758/D97.jpgWh-wh-what Time Is It!?http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png [TJ&E] Wake up from a nap. To get this trophy, simply select the Book present from the menu. Your character will fall asleep from reading a novel. You will have to jam on the buttons in order to wake them up. Beware when using this item by roaming enemies for you will be defenseless! http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1758/F1B.jpgThis Earth Food Isn't Half Bad!http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png [TJ&E] Eat all of Earth's delicacies. To get this trophy, you must eat of the various foods you find lying on the ground throughout the game. Be careful because not every item increases your health! These items include: -Candy Cane -Bacon n' Eggs -Cereal -Watermelon -Cherry Pie -Fries -Pancakes -Fudge Cake -Fudge Sundae -Hamburger http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1758/505.jpgIt's All About The Kickshttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png [TJ&E] Dash with the Super Hitops. Easy enough, you begin every game with a pair or two of the hitops in your inventory. Strap them on, and dash a few feet to earn your trophy! http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1758/1DB.jpgWe're Unstoppablehttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png [TJ&E] Fly across water using the Rocket Skates. Collect various presents until you come across the Rocket States. Be careful where you select them because it is very hard to control your character with the stakes on. Remember also that you MUST across water using the skates in order to get your trophy; it isn't enough just to wear them. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1758/08E.jpgUp, Up, And Awayhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png [TJ&E] Fly using the Icarus Wings. Perhaps the best item in the game, the Icarus Wings allow you to fly over the map for a short period of time. Once you receive this present, simply stand still and press the button to begin flight. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1758/944.jpgEven Adults Like Presentshttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png [TJ&E] Snag some goodies from Santa. At random, you will see Santa Claus from a distance, going through his goody bag. If you approach him, you will startle him, and he will fly away. To catch him, you need to sneak up on him, (by holding the button) as soon as you see him onscreen. This will make him drop some presents. Pick them up and your trophy will pop. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1758/B38.jpgLovin' This Earth Lifestylehttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png [TJ&E] Jump in the bath on Floor 0. In order to get this trophy, you need the Innertube, Rocket Skates, or Icarus Wings gifts first (or your character will drown trying). When ready, drop back to Level 1. Equip your item and head towards the Southwestern part of the stage to reach an island with a hole in the center. Drop into the hole and you'll reach Level 0. Drink the Lemonade from the stand to earn an extra life, but before you go, jump into the hot tub (approach from the side) and chat with the hula girl to refill your life and earn your trophy! yamatadragon
For the trophy for waking up from a nap, you can just stand idle for a while and they'll fall asleep and then wake them up. Not sure if using the Viking Lady gets you the trophies for defeating a Cupid and the Demon Mailbox. You also get XP for defeating enemies as well. Not sure how much each enemy is worth. Good job on the trophy guide. Edited November 19, 2012 by yamatadragon
Ms Ada Wong
Yea, good guide. Also, to make it much easier for defeating the mailbox, wait til it wakes up to attack you, hit the boombox and go to town with slingshot or tomatoes.
witteijsbeer
Yea, good guide. Also, to make it much easier for defeating the mailbox, wait til it wakes up to attack you, hit the boombox and go to town with slingshot or tomatoes. Even easier, you don´t have to wait till it wakes up. Just shoot it from a distance when it is standing still. This is how I got the trophy.
