Introduction:

Welcome to TNT Racers!

This game is a top-down racer (like the Micro Machines games), you play with cars that have peculiar weapons that are located on the cars' roof. You can play in different modes of race, but for winning in most of them you will need to keep the opposition cars outside of the cameras' vision. You can also play in the different modes offline and online (although they are dead and you may need a boosting partner).

Steps:

Step 1: Challenges

Go through all the challenges (normal, then fast, then turbo). Beat all the challenges in all 3 categories to get the “Race Apprentice”, “‘Normal’ Champion”, “‘Fast’ Champion” and “‘Turbo’ Champion”. Also, on Turbo Challenge #13 you need to Score at least 15000 points for the “Score Seeker” trophy.

Step 2: Online

Start going for the online trophies now. You are aiming for “Newcomer”, “Homerun”, “Globetrotter“ and “Wrong Direction”.

Step 3: Mop Up

Now mop up any trophies that you are missing.

Trophies

You will get this easy trophy after you beat #1 Tutorial I (the first of the normal challenges). Easy!

Win your first online ranked match.

Use the boosting thread and, whilst going for Homerun, you will get this trophy for winning your first online ranked match. See Globetrotter for the quickest way to win.

There are 15 ‘fast’ challenges for you to beat:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/899/09.jpgShadow Takedown (B)

Pull out one opponent with the Speed Disruptor in Shadow Mode.

When you get wasted in a game, you come back in shadow mode. This allows you to fire at other racers. When you have the speed disruptor, you need to fire it (using :cross:) at an opponent so that they fall behind and off the screen, therefore it's best to wait for an opponent to be near the bottom of the screen then fire it at them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/899/10.jpgScore Seeker (B)

Score at least 15000 points in Turbo Challenge #13.

This is not hard, although it may take a few races to achieve it. It is a score challenge so it means that there are coins on the track that can help you to get the necessary points. Make sure that you don't just depend on coins though, as you can get extra points by wrecking the other racers.

The most valuable coins that are on the track are:

  • A gold one that is on the last turn of the track. This coin will add 750 points to your total.
  • A silver one that is in the little island between the two first bridges of the track.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/899/12.jpgWrong Direction (B)

Complete a lap on Peak in 18.1s - driving in the wrong direction, multiplayer only.

Use the boosting thread and find a partner, then set up a match with these settings:

  • Ranked
  • Track: Peak
  • Speed: Turbo
  • Mode: Lap Mode
  • Laps: 3
  • Shadow Mode: Off

When you start driving backwards, a timer comes up which is very helpful. You need to drive in 18.1 seconds around the track the wrong way! It’s very hard, as both players must do it fast and stay on the track. Just try to go tight around all the corners.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/899/03.jpgHomerun (S)

Win 3 online ranked matches in a row.

Use the boosting thread for this because the online is pretty dead, just win 3 online ranked matches in a row. See Globetrotter for the quickest way to win.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/899/04.jpgGlobetrotter (S)

Win an online match on each track of the base game (forwards and backwards).

Note: The host must have unlocked all the tracks!

Use the boosting thread and find a partner. Then set up a match with these settings:

  • Ranked
  • Track: Change between all of them (make sure you do the reverse ones to!)
  • Speed: Fast/Turbo
  • Mode: Knock-Out Mode
  • Limit: 5
  • Shadow Mode: Off

As soon as the match starts, hold :r2: to accelerate and get your partner to hold :l2: to reverse, this way it only takes 30 seconds each track! Return the favour for your partner on each track as you go along.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/899/07.jpg'Turbo' Champion (S)

Beat all Turbo Challenges.

There are 15 ‘turbo’ challenges for you to beat:

  • #1 Knock-Out Mode
  • #2 Swift Drifter
  • #3 Score Race
  • #4 Pick-Up Extravaganza
  • #5 Time Attack
  • #6 Minefield
  • #7 Race Masters
  • #8 Super Challenge
  • #9 Smash Route
  • #10 Battle Mode
  • #11 Lap Race
  • #12 Time Attack
  • #13 Time Race
  • #14 Minefield
  • #15 Survival Challenge

After you beat # 15 (Survival Challenge), the trophy will pop!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/899/08.jpgDestructoid (S)

Waste 100 opponent vehicles with weapons in any mode.

This could come naturally, during your progression through the challenges. If not, see "Motorhead" trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/899/11.jpgMotorhead (G)

Unlock all Tracks, Vehicles and Race Classes.

For this trophy you need to unlock all the cars, tracks and the three types of speed. To unlock a type of speed, you will need to complete some of the challenges of the speed below it. And to unlock a car/track, you will need 8 wins on whatever mode you choose, but this will be different once you unlock the last track, then you will need around 20 wins to unlock the last car. The best method is to put the same settings as the Globetrotter trophy but in a single-player race.

If you didn't get the Destructoid trophy in the process of going through the challenges, then it can be obtained during the grinding of this trophy.

Hi, I'm sure the guide will be of use to people.

Just one thing, how many races to unlock a car? It's not 8 as suggested. I have all tracks and still need 1 car for gold.

Maybe it's every 10 or more?

I had problems unlocking the last car and in this case I think that aren't 8 races that you need to win. I didn't count exactly how many races but I think it's around 20-25 races.

And yeah, 8 races is the number of wins that you need todo to unlock a car/track, but for the last one is different

And Gas, this is what I was trying to do when you sent me the FR.
