Introduction

The platinum is fairly easy. At first the game will seem hard because of the stealth elements and such you have to learn. As you play though, you will get better and better at the game. There is a tonne of missable trophies. The reason for this is there is no chapter select, you cannot fast travel back to places, and you also cannot load previous saves. Any missable trophy is marked with MISSABLE! written in the description, make sure to look out for while playing the game.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Complete the game in pathway #1 while picking up collectibles, enter Sherwood with no survivors, and reach the final destination with only female survivors.

For the first step, just complete the game and go for any of the kill trophies, like all the melee ones and ranged ones etc; refer to the trophies for those two to see where you first encounter the weapons. Make sure to finish the game with only female survivors too; see the guide for how to do that. You also want to collect all the posters and squirrels in Pathway #1. Follow the path below when travelling to destinations:

Pathway #1 (Left hand side map options)
• Cabot Ridge
 • Sedalia
 • Garwater
 • Fontana
 • Cleburne
 • Lemon Hill
 • Barksdale
 • Lafferty
 • Polksville
 • Sherwood
 • Firesign Stadium

If you encounter any random survivors in the un-marked towns, make sure to recruit them and travel once with them. Always choose to travel on the back roads. Also, make sure to enter Sherwood with no survivors, and also to finish the game with 1 bullet and one gun left. You'll get another chance in your next playthrough, so don't worry if you miss it. See the guide for more info

Step 2: Complete the game in pathway #2, get remaining collectibles in the towns you didn't visit, get remaining kills with weapons and finish the game with male survivors

This step will pretty much be the same as your first playthough, except this time when the map forks, you want to choose the right hand side option each time. The main thing you want to do in this playthrough is get the collectibles in the towns you didn't visit, get kills with remaining melee weapons and guns, and recruit any surviors in the towns you visit here. Make sure to also finish the game with only male survivors; see the guide for info on how to do that. Here's the pathway you want to take:

Pathway #2 (Right hand side map options)
• Cabot Ridge
 • Sedalia
 • Pemberton
 • Fontana
 • Oakview
 • Taggart
 • Lemon Hill
 • Barksdale
 • Archer Creek
 • Danvers
 • Sherwood
 • Firesign Stadium

If you encounter any random survivors in the un-marked towns, make sure to recruit them and travel once with them. Always choose to travel on the back roads. The final thing you want to do here is if you missed any trophies near the end of the game, like the Sherwood one, and the one for having only 1 bullet and one gun in your inventory. You should have done this in your first playthrough, but if you didn't, now is the time.

Step 3: Clear up on reaming survivors and any other trophy you are missing.

The only things you should be missing now are some miscellaneous trophies, and the one for travelling with all survivors. You should have recruited and travelled with all the survivors in the marked destinations, but you may still have some left in the un-marked locations. Please see Every Man, Woman and Child for how to easily get the un-marked survivors. After you have that trophy, clear up anything you are missing. You should now have your platinum, congrats!

Explore 25 Unmarked Travel Locations

Note: This trophy carries on over your playthroughs.

When you are travelling between marked destinations, you will sometimes stop off at an unmarked location. You will get a notification come up saying "Want to explore the area for supplies" if you happen to come across one. Simply select to explore and the trophy will unlock upon returning to the car. When you run out of fuel or your vehicle breaks down, that also counts towards and unmarked location. You should unlock this near the end of your second playthrough.

Kill Walkers Using Every Melee Weapon

MISSABLE!

Note: This trophy carries on over your playthroughs. If you have the Herd Mode pre-order DLC, you can earn this trophy easier in that mode; just use each melee weapon up to round 10 to get the trophy.

There is a total of 7 melee weapons in the game; all you have to do is get a kill with each of them. I have listed below the first time you will encounter the weapon, but they can be found in other places to.
Hammer - First found Cabot Ridge house, after the scene with Daryl's dad. It is next to Jesse.

Lead Pipe - This is found in the same place as the squirrel is in Sedalina. You will have to pass through a store in order to get past the semi truck blocking the road. Once you're in the alleyway, you will see a walker eating somebody. At the end of this alleyway, you will see a ladder; climb it. Once on the roof, go to the right and onto the next building. Go down the ladder here and you will see the pipe.

Machete - First found in Fontana. After you find Mia in the theater, go back to Scout and her injured friend. You will find that they have left. The machete is in the freezer room just behind where scout was sitting.

Fire Axe - First found in Cleburne holding closed a door marked with "Don't open, dead inside." This room is in the sort of square area, on the lower floor (You pass over the higher floor earlier in the mission). You will enter the room regardless on your progress to the objective anyway; just remember to pick it up.

Hatchet - First found in Taggart behind Charlene's home in the work area / shed. It's on one of the tables near where the squirrel is.

Baseball Bat - First found in Lemon Hill. It is located in the same apartment as the car keys. Eventually you will have to climb up on a roof to look for fireworks; you should see a door that you have to jump to reach while your on the roof (You have to go through this door to progress with the mission). On the counter in here by some walkers, you will see the baseball bat here in plain view.

Sledge Hammer - First found in Lemon Hill. When you have to reach the church by passing through the graveyard, upon exiting the graveyard, you will see a shed to your right. The sledge hammer is in here.

Kill Walkers Using Every Ranged Weapon

MISSABLE!

Note: This trophy carries on over your playthroughs. If you have the Herd Mode pre-order DLC, you can earn this trophy easier in that mode, just use each gun up to round 10 to get the trophy.

There is a total of 11 ranged weapons in the game; all you have to do is get a kill with each of them. I have listed below the first time you will encounter the weapon, but they can be found in other places to.
Bolt Action Rifle - Found in Cabot Ridge next to the first fuel can and the pack of ammunition. You will have it by default in the opening sequence with Daryl's dad.

Revolver - First found in Sedalina. You want to go in the back entrance to the police station, then head to the main area near the front door. The gun is sitting on a desk.

Double Barrel Shotgun - First found in Garwater. As soon as the mission starts, you need to approach a deputy; he will give you the shotgun and some ammo for it.

Grenade - This might not count, but it can be first found in Pemberton. You want to go to the armory inside the police station; the grenades are on a desk.

Pump Action Shotgun - First found Pemberton. When you are tasked to find the missing deputies, you will get to a motel. Follow the waypoint and you'll find the deputy, dead. The gun is next to his body.

Hi-Powered Pistol - This is first found in Fontana, next to the squirrel. At the very start of the mission, you have to climb over some boxes to jump over the fence. On the other side of this fence, you will see a pickup truck by another fence. Climb onto this, then onto the metal roof. You will see the gun here.

Fast-Action Pistol - First found in Celburne, after going up the many stairs to reach the top floor. You will see a blue sign that says 'Parking' and points towards a blocked off area. You have to go through the door back down the corridor, then you will be able to get behind the blockade. The gun is lying on the floor here.

Crossbow - You will obtain this in Barksdale via the story; you have to kill some zombies with it so it's pretty much impossible to miss getting a kill with this.

Semi-Auto Shotgun - First found in Lemon Hill. From where Merle is standing, look in front of the counter he is standing by. The gun is lying on the floor; you can't miss it.

Semi-Auto Rifle - First found in Lemon Hill in the church where you need to place the fireworks. It is just in front of the altar.

Assault Rifle - First found in Firesign Stadium. As soon as you start the mission, you will see the gun lying on the floor next to a dead solider; very hard to miss.

Kill 100 Walkers while Grappling

Note: This trophy carries over playthroughs and deaths.

During the game, you will get grappled multiple times; this is when they grab you and you have to line the crosshairs up with their head and press :r2: to kill them. If a zombie grabs you, it will usually lead to loads of zombies taking it in turns of grabbing you; you can get around 10 kills on average per time you do it.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/ACC.jpg Need More Spots Up Front (S)

Dismember 250 Limbs

Note: This trophy carries over playthroughs and deaths.

You might get this on your first playthough, but most likely second. The limbs are the zombies arms and legs; all you have to do is shoot them off or use a sharp melee weapon like the axe to cut them off. An easy way to get this though is on the final mission when you have to protect the helicopter, while using mounted gun. Just aim for the zombies legs, then when you finish, it skip the credits and press continue. You'll be back at the same bit.

Prevent 50 Walkers from Grabbing You

Note: This trophy carries over playthroughs and deaths.

This one can be a bit of a pain, but luckily it carries over if you die. When you see a zombie with two arms outstretched towards you, you want to push them away with :r1:. If done right, Daryl will push them away with both hands rather than punching them like usual. If you don't have this by the time you finish all your playthroughs, just stand by a group of zombies, then let the first one grab you. Kill him using the :r2: to the face move and then immediately spam :r1:. You'll push the next zombie in line to grapple you away then.

Recruit 1 Optional Survivor

You will get this in Sedalia as you have to let Warren come with you as part of the story. After you have filled up the fuel tank and return to the car, you will get the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/939.jpg Every Man, Woman and Child (S)

Choose to Travel at Least Once with Every Optional Survivor

MISSABLE! - But carries over multiple playthroughs

Top Tip: When travelling between towns where a random survivor may occur. If you haven't encountered them by the time the characters start talking while your travelling, quit out to the XMB and then reload the game. You'll be back at the main destination you set off from, so therefore you'll have another chance to get the survivor to appear. Also, travel on the back roads.

This carries over playthroughs, so make sure you try and get as many survivors as you can in your playthroughs to minimize the chance of having to do playthroughs just for survivors.

There is a total of 14 survivors you need to travel with in order to unlock the trophy. In the spoilers below, you will find the survivors you encounter in the main marked destinations, and also the random ones. The random ones are a pain as it is random, wherever you will encounter them while travelling between towns, but if you use the method above you shouldn't need luck on your side to get the random ones.

Survivors encountered in marked destinations:
Jimmy Blake (Sedalia) - This survivor is found on top of the store you travel through at the start; go up the ladder to reach him and complete his optional objective to recruit him.

Warren Bedford (Sedalia) - This survivor is found in the gas station; you will recruit him as part of the main mission.

Mia Park (Fontana) - This survivor is found at the theater. After speaking to Scout, head across the road and enter the theater. Walk around a bit in here and then you will see Mia open a door; approach her and she will run away. Follow the stairs up then you will speak to her and recruit her.

Mike Swenson (Oakview) - During this mission, you have to find Merle anti-biotics. After the part with all the tents and the people shooting at you from the building, you'll reach another building., You have to recruit him as part of the mission.

Todd Jeffries (Cleburne) - After falling through the floor and after being chased by a load of zombies, exit the door and go right. Pass the blockade, Todd can be found in the last room on the left.

Noah Cruz (Lafferty) - This survivor is found in the first room of the shop you enter. There are two parts to being able to recruit him though. Back in Cleburne, you had the choice to let Noah die or go and help him; if you choose to go through the door to help him he will still be alive and will appear in Lafferty. However, if you didn't go to Cleburne in the destination before he will be in Lafferty regardless.

Shelia Schneider (Danvers) - This survivor will automatically join you when you Danvers.

Terry Harrison (Sherwood) - This survivor is found in the house (The one with the squirrel in it) to the left of the sign in the middle of the street, in the bedroom with his wife. In order to recruit him, you have to go into his house at the end and save him, not go into Jane's house.

Jane Carroll (Sherwood) - This survivor is found to the right of the sign in the middle of the street; she is standing in the hallway. In order to recruit her, you have to go into her house at the end of the mission and not Terry's house. She has locked the door, so you need to use the backdoor to speak to reach her

Survivors randomly encountered in un-marked locations:
Sarah Bell - This survivor is found on top of a petrol station between Sedalia and Fontana. The unmarked event is called 'Search the town for supplies'.

Holly Gaines - This is found randomly between Fontana and Barksdale. The unmarked event is called 'Diner'. You can tell if you have encountered her as they'll be no walkers at all on the road. She will be in the farm building.

Ahmad Farran - This survivor is found randomly while traveling between Fontana and Barksdale. The unmarked event is called 'Campsite' and he is in the middle of the road on a trailer.

Gloria Garcia - This survivor is found randomly while traveling between Barksdale and Sherwood. The random event is called 'Freight'. You will see he standing on top of a train as soon as you enter the area, if you got lucky and she spawned.

Shelly Berger - This survivor is found randomly when travelling between Barksdale and Sherwood. The unmarked event is called 'Abandoned Neighborhood'. Head to the two cars to the right of you when you start; you then want to break the fence just past these cars and enter the house. Shelly is found in here if you got her to spawn.

Note: Make sure you follow all the collectibles in my external guide; that way you will definitely get all 3 trophies in 2 playthroughs. If you die and you just picked up a set of keys, you'll need to pick them back up again.

There is a total of 4 optional car keys in the game, but there is also some vehicles you will get in the story. You will need 2 playthoughs to get this, making sure to choose the opposite paths each time. Please visit the thread below for locations of the optional car keys:

You can get this after the Sedalia mission, when you return to the car go to the 'Survivors' tab and then you can choose to dismiss them. Confirm the dismiss then travel to the next destination; the trophy will unlock shortly afterwards.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/F08.jpg Good Samaritan (B)

Complete 25 Optional Objectives

Note: This trophy stacks between playthoughs and deaths.

An optional objectives are usually objectives given to you buy survivors and they have nothing to do with the main mission progress. An easy way to farm this trophy if you haven't got it after your playthroughs is to play until you reach Oakview. Once you go through the hole in the fence after the scene with people shooting at you, push the car to cover the hole and prevent the zombies getting it. Once you have fully pushed the car, let yourself get killed. Rinse and repeat.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/61F.jpg Not a Scratch (B)

Complete a Marked Destination on the Map without Taking Any Damage

The easiest place to get this is Sedalia, as it's a short mission with few zombies. What you want to do is just run the whole time and shoot zombies that are in your path. When you reach the 2nd store and you are exiting, make sure to kill the dodgy looking zombie who is hidden away to the right of the exit. If you walk through the door he will auto grab you and you might loose health. On the way back, make sure to climb over the fuel truck instead of going back through the stores. Use the ladder on the back of the truck to climb over.

Complete a Marked Destination on the Map without Killing a Walker

The easiest place to get this is in Cabot Ridge. When playing as Daryl's dad, don't kill a single zombie and just let them kill you. When you take control of Daryl, simply run to get all the fuel cans and then get in the truck. The trophy will unlock upon entering the truck.

Complete a Marked Destination on the Map without Being Grabbed by a Walker

This will almost certainly unlock during the first mission, as zombies won't grab you because most the time they are looking away from you. When playing as Daryl's dad, don't kill a single zombie and just let them kill you. When you take control of Daryl, simply run to get all the fuel cans and then get in the truck. The trophy will unlock upon entering the truck.

Enter Sherwood Without Any Survivors

MISSABLE!

This trophy is easy if you remember to get it. Once you finish either Polksville or Danvers mission (Depending on the way you went on the map), you will have the option of travelling to Sherwood. Before setting off, you want to go to the 'Survivor' tab and dismiss any survivors you have with you. If you already clicked travel, don't worry. You are pretty much guaranteed to stop at an unmarked destination on the way and you can dismiss them there. Just make sure you don't enter Sherwood while survivors are with you.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/947.jpg Say Hello to My Little Friend (B)

Complete a Marked Map Destination Using Only Firearms

The easiest place to get this is in Cabot Ridge. When playing as Daryl's dad, don't kill a single zombie and just let them kill you. When you take control of Daryl, simply run to get all the fuel cans but remember to fire a single bullet from any gun except the crossbow (If you have the relic fro the crossbow at the start of the game). The trophy will unlock upon entering the truck.

Complete a Marked Destination on the Map Using Only the Crossbow

Note: The method below requires you to use the relic that gives you access to the crossbow at the start. So you need to do this after your first playthrough.

The easiest place to get this is in Cabot Ridge. When playing as Daryl's dad, don't kill a single zombie AND don't shoot a single bullet. Just let the walkers kill you. When you take control of Daryl, simply run to get all the fuel cans but remember to fire a single bolt from your crossbow (If you have the relic for the crossbow at the start of the game). The trophy will unlock upon entering the truck.

Perform Execution Kills on 50 Walkers

Note: This trophy carries over playthroughs and deaths.

This is the main attack you want to be using in the game, mainly because it's the one that will save you getting killed most the time. All you have to do is go up behind a zombie and hold :r1:. This will stab them in the head for an instant kill.

10 Walkers Killed with Saw Blades in the Logging Camp

Note: This trophy carries over playthroughs and deaths.

This trophy occurs during the Oakview marked destination. After getting the medicine for Merle, you'll get a key card to go through the gate. This area now has many saw blades running along the center. It is very easy to get 10 as some of them are running into the blades off screen. What you want to do is punch them with :r1: into the blades or go around the edge of the blades and stand in the center of two blade poles. The zombies will just walk towards you and into the blades then.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/5F4.jpg It's Gotta Be the Brain (S)

Dismember All Limbs of 25 Walkers

Note: The trophy says 25, but it is not 25; it is in fact 5. This trophy carries over playthroughs and deaths.

What you want to do is get the fire axe and then find a lone zombie, and hit it in the arm by holding down :r2: with the axe; it will chop its arm off in one swing. Now keep hitting its leg until it falls off and the walker falls over. You now want to use the axe on the other leg; one arm should be left. To remove this arm, you want to shoot it instead of hitting it as 90% of the time the axe will cut the zombies head off.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/85E.jpg BOOM! Who Needs a Headshot? (B)

Kill 5 Walkers with One Explosion

If you choose to travel to Pemberton at the start, you can get this trophy pretty early on. You want to get grenades first, which can be found in the armory in the police station. Once you have those, go out into the street and attract some zombies with your gun, then jump on a car. Wait until about 8 have surrounded you, then jump off the car and throw a grenade in the group. Here's a video for a visual guide:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juA2jCDdLaA]The Walkng Dead: Survival Instinct - BOOM Who Needs a Headshot? Trophy / Achievement Guide - YouTube[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/43B.jpg Two Heads Are Better Than One (B)

Kill Multiple Walkers with One Bullet

This can be earned at the very start of the game when you are playing as Daryl's dad, but you can get it anytime. What I did was aim the rifle so it was in line with two of the walkers heads, then fire. It has to be a double headshot to kill two zombies.

Kill 4 Walkers in a Single Grapple Sequence

You are pretty much guaranteed to get this during your playthrough if you don't push the walkers away from you when getting grappled. Simply round a big group of zombies, then allow one to grab you. Now just keep moving the crosshairs onto the walker that are grabbing you and press :r2:. The walkers in the group will take it in turns of grabbing you, so keep killing them this way until you have killed 4.

Kill a Walker That Is Falling Due to Dismemberment

The easiest place I found to get this trophy is during Firesign Stadium at the end of the game. When you are on the turret at the end of the game, simply aim at the zombies legs and don't stop shooting. You won't see visually when you have done it, but you will know by the trophy unlocking.

Pull a Bolt From a Walker Then Kill Them With It

Very simple troph;, you receive the crossbow in Barksdale. Once you get it, all you need to do is shoot a walker in the chest with a bolt then go up to them and press :square: to retrieve it. Now shoot them in the head with the first shot and the trophy will unlock.

Prevent a Walker from Damaging You by Severing Its Attacking Limb

The easiest way to get this is to use the fire axe. Now lure some zombies and jump on a car. If you stand close to the edge of the car, walkers will try and attack you with their arms, but they should keep missing if your standing in the right place. As soon as they swing their arm towards you, quickly swing your axe and cut the arm off. If done right you'll unlock the trophy.

Distract 50 Walkers with Items

Note: This carries across playthroughs and deaths.

This is a lot easier than it seems; the easiest place to farm it is in Lemon Hill. Go up to the apartment (The one that you have to jump out the window of to reach the building across the road). Simply chuck a bottle or flare into the huge group in the street below; it should distract a lot of them with just one bottle. Once you run out of items, kill yourself and do the same thing again. Any location will do, but this is the easiest.

Restore Survivors 25 Times

Note: This carries across playthroughs

When you send out survivors, make sure you always send them out to get food. This way you won't have to worry about the trophy later on. When you send survivors out, they will get hurt; you can then give them MREs from the survivor tab to heal them. Repeat 25 times for the trophy.

Sprint Until You're Exhausted 10 Times in One Level

You should get this from general gameplay if you are running. If you want the trophy early on though, just keep running back and forward. Once you get out of breath and can't run for a short amount of time 10 times, the trophy will unlock.

Consume 50 MREs

Note: This carries across playthroughs and deaths.

This trophy can be farmed in a few minutes depending on how many MREs you have on you. I advise you have around 5 of them. Simply go into a group of zombies and allow them to damage you. Simply keep using your MREs until you have none left, then let them kill you. You will respawn back with your MREs again. Rinse and repeat until you get the trophy

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/86D.jpg Still Not Buying a Hybrid (B)

Consume 250 Fuel

You are guaranteed to get this over your multiple playthroughs as fuel is needed to travel from destination to destination. Just make sure to pick up fuel cans when you see them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/6AA.jpg Duct Tape Can Fix Anything (B)

Survive 5 Breakdowns

Note: This carries across playthroughs.

Sometimes when you are travelling, you will get a screen come up that says "Breakdown: Your tire burst" or something along those lines. You then have to go out and find the item which you need to repair your car. I got this on my 2nd playthrough. To maximize your chances of breaking down, travel on the highway.

Fire 300 Bullets

Note: This carries across playthroughs and deaths.

I got this on my first playthrough; you are guaranteed to get it on your first or second playthough if you use firearms. If for some reason you don't though, just fire all the rounds in the assault rifle (found in the last mission) and then kill yourself. Rinse and repeat.

Complete the Game with Only 1 Firearm and 1 Bullet Left in Your Inventory

MISSABLE!

Be careful of this trophy as you can easily forget to do it. The final mission is at Firesign Stadium.Iif you have the bolt action sniper in your inventory, shoot all the rounds out of it until you have 1. Any gun will do though (except the crossbow). Just make sure you only have 1 ammo for it in your inventory. Near the end Merle will drive up in a Humvee and you'll get on a turret. Here you want to press :select: and drop everything you have except the items that can't be dropped (Knife and crossbow + bolts), 1 gun and 1 bullet. The trophy will unlock at the end of the game.

Shoot a Walker with 10 Bolts without Killing It

The hardest thing about this trophy is getting ammo for it, but if you start the game with the relic that allows you to have the crossbow at the start of the game, you'll have 6 bolts in i when you start. Don't use the crossbow at all, and search everywhere for crossbow ammo. Once you have 10 bolts, find and walker and shoot all 10 bolts into it's body. The body is important as shooting the head will kill it. Just shoot 10 bolts in different places in the walker's body. Once 10 have been shot in it, the trophy will unlock.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/20A.jpg I Used to Be a Human Like You (B)

Shoot a Walker in the Knee with a Bolt

This can be done as soon as you get the crossbow in Barksdale. Find a walker standing still, then aim at its calf, not on the knee itself. Reason being is the bolt shoots a little higher than where you are aiming. Then simply shoot and if the arrow is in its knee, the trophy will unlock.

Arrive at Final Destination with Only Male Survivors

MISSABLE!

Note: If you really want to, you can back up your save in Sherwood and get both of these trophies in one playthrough.

This trophy is simple to get if you remember to get it. Once you arrive in Sherwood, make sure to dismiss any survivors you have with you by going to the Survivor tab, before starting the mission itself. If you are going for the I Can Handle This Myself trophy, you should have no survivors with you at this point anyway, which will make things easier.

At the end of the mission, you can choose to either save Jane or Terry. Terry is in the house to the left of the sign in the middle of the street, and Jane is in the right. As we are going for the male trophy, go to the house with Terry in it, and kill all the zombies in the area. As you can only save one of them you will then travel to Firesign Stadium with Terry, the trophy will unlock upon reaching Firesign Stadium.

Arrive at Final Destination with Only Female Survivors

MISSABLE!

Hidden Trophies

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/BB3.jpg Stay Together, Stay Safe (B) (H)

5 Survivors Killed while Scavenging

Note: This trophy carries on over your playthroughs.

When sending survivors out, they have a chance of dieing; this can be determined by the red meter on the survivor screen. The higher the meter, the more chance they have of dieing. The easiest way to get this is to just keep sending survivors out with no weapon. The trophy will unlock once the 5th survivor dies after you sent them out.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/7C2.jpg The Hunted Becomes the Hunter (B) (H)

Kill 5 Walkers in the Cabot Ridge Creek Bed

At the very start of the game, you will be playing as Daryl's dad and have the bolt action rifle. Play the mission until you reach the deer, then you'll here your friend start screaming. Run back and you will see two walkers eating him. Now all you need to is kill 5 walkers here. Make sure to stay on the pathway you took up to the deer, as there is plenty of room to move back away from the zombies. If you run out of ammo, use the knife instead. The trophy will unlock at the VERY end of the mission, after escaping in the pick up.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1631/096.jpg You're Doing It Wrong (B) (H)

Perish 13 Times

Note: This trophy carries on over your playthroughs.

If you're like me, and you suck at the game when you first start playing, you should get this fairly early on. If, however, you're a master at the game, you can easily farm this by allowing yourself to die until the trophy unlocks.

Just completed, It's Gotta Be the Brains. I got my first fireaxe in the stairway at Danvers. I had not dismembered any limbs prior, and only had to dismember 5 walkers. Not sure if that's a glitch or if they just wrote the description for the trophy wrong. I have found that the Danvers ClaraChem hallway is a very convenient place to farm the combat based trophies.

Did you just do the arms? or the legs as well? I did 5 and the trophy unlocked to. So it's probably a typo or something.

Excellent guide Harry. :applause:

Thanks blaze :)

I did arms and legs of 5 walkers. The XMB shows the trophy as dismember 25 walkers. I don't have an xbox but the sister site achievment says it's five walkers. LOL... I'll take it.

Probably a stupid qestion, but I haven't had much time to figure it out myself: why do you recommend finishing the first playthrough with female survivors as opposed to male?

Cool, thanks! I was trying to keep Blake alive for the silenced weapon relic, I kept sending out Holly and Mia with no weapons to get killed and they kept coming back. Finally, I thought I'd send Blake out armed so I could work the restore survivors trophy and that weenie gets killed first time out. So I guess it didn't matter in the end.

Question about Warren Bedford (survivor) the guide says you encouter him in the gas station and recruit him as part of the story, but i never saw him but heard him talking and when i turned the generator on he got killed, i think. Did i do something wrong? How are you suppose to talk to him or reach him?
