dante_kinkade
Has anyone else come across the Journey shout out/reference in the the third chapter when go up the tower and can use the telescope. Just a shot of the mountain and two of the cloaked figures but it is really cool and the main character is pretty shocked by it.
alx681
this was already mentioned before in one of the other threads.. but yeah its a cool easter egg..
dzeidzei
A more interesting question would be if someone managed to miss the reference. But yeah, Monroe going "whaat?" upon seeing it was funny. Are there any other easter eggs in this game?
mbh911
I Loved the journey Easter egg and I always wondered what kind of game would turn out if The Unfinished Swan and Journey somehow made a baby together or blend both games together, etc. I have yet to see anymore new Easter eggs unless I'm missing something and i attached the image in case anyone is curious to view it
rospondek
Yes, Journey had easter eggs from both games cause all of them was done by one developer. This was rather odd reference Odd but nice
Darth_Krid
It was a cool Easter Egg, made me smile!
purifico
Yeah, I was excited to find it, and made the exactly same sound that Monroe did =D More importantly, do the Giant Sparrow and thatgamecompany has anything in common (apart from making amazing unique games) that would explain that one reference that the game had? uLtRaMa6nEt1c
There's actually a second part to that easter egg. When you're inside the King's monument and the water is rising, you have to stand on the table to get to the top. As you get to the opening you can see the same moon in the sky. Sometimes you will see a shooting star like in the pink sand level of Journey (where you find the Flower easter egg). I've only encountered this when coming out of the opening sometimes. vegetollo7
Pretty neat, I definitely wasn't expecting that at all when playing the game.
TheDearGunther
Journey eh. It's a small world, literally. That was a nice easter egg. The hidden trophy should have been for seeing that and be called something along the lines of: You're Not Alone Out There Find the easter egg from another game. diskdocx
Journey eh. It's a small world, literally. That was a nice easter egg. The hidden trophy should have been for seeing that and be called something along the lines of: You're Not Alone Out There Find the easter egg from another game. That would have been creative. This was a cool shout out to another great indie game. There is also a neat Journey Easter egg in Guacamelee, from Drinkbox studios.
dh4645
just played this yesterday with the wife. she rarely plays & she was actually in control a lot of the time, that's why it took a bit longer than normal to finish the game. hah anyway, i was like "sweet, Journey!" and she was like "Huh?" i know i showed the game to her last year, but i guess she forgot. she didn't play it, so i can see why she wouldnt care.
