Jin_man
http://tinyurl.com/28hocr7 Thanks to Savenger for the Banner Overview: - Estimated trophy difficulty: 4/10 - Offline (breakdown): 30 (9 , 15 , 5 , 1 ) - Online (breakdown): 0 - Approximate amount of time to Platinum: 15-20 hours - Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1+ (Going back for Side Missions and Collecting) - Number of missable trophies: 1 (The Key to the Shire) - Glitched trophies: None - Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No Cheats - Does Difficulty affect trophies? No Introduction: The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest is the first Lord of the Rings videogame created specifically for kids and their families with accessible gameplay set in a friendly, colorful rendition of Middle-Earth. Players assume the role of Strider and embark on his greatest quests from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The game offers authentic, action-oriented sword fighting, lancing and archery that all ages can play together. Roadmap: Step 1: Playing through the story while doing Side Quests Once you have started your game, don't worry about collecting any of the treasures. I suggest that you do all the side quests while you play through the game. If you see someone with a small map above there head then they have a quest to do. Also between each chapter go back to the shire and do the side missions there. As you can miss some if you don't. Step 2: Collecting Once you have finished the story and have the side quests done then its time to start collecting. Go back through each level, if you have found the Palantir (shows collectibles) then you will have an easier way to find all the Fellowship Tokens and Upgrades. Step 3: Clean Up If you still need to get some of the trophies like killing 2500 enemies or the kill 250 enemies with the bow I suggest you play the "The Black Gate" Chapter as this chapter has a lot of enemies. Also you can get unlimited arrows from the arrow rack. Notes: This guide is based on the controller not the Move Controller. You will need 2 controllers to get some of the trophies. Once you have finished the quest you will get this trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/505/25.jpg Stall Owner All stalls 100% Complete The stalls are at the shire. To complete each of the stall you have to keep winning till the guy at the stall stops paying you. Here is a little guide for each of them: Sword Stall: Go as fast as possible. Try not to mess up. If you don't miss then you should win. Shield Stall: Only hold up your shield when the catapults fire. When they aren't firing, keep your shield down to go faster. Dwarf Stall: If you have the spear. Use it. Just keep attacking him with it, If he starts to block, stop and wait for him to attack then start to hit him with your spear again. Archery Stall: Don't go into aim mode. Just hold and aim your bow at the targets Riding Stall: For the Last Round start on the right (Charge Dummies) then go to the back and charge the dummies there. Then go to the center and attack the dummies there and finally charge the last set of dummies http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/505/28.jpg Child's Play Complete all the imaginary quests in the woods The imaginary quests are unlocked as you progress through the story. You find these at the shire. I suggest you do these quests at the end of the game. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/505/06.jpg Meanderer Complete all the side quests When playing through the chapters do every quest you come across. Also between each chapter go back to the shire to do all the side quests there as you can miss some if you don't If you are missing any quests, you have to do all the quests for that level over. Not just the ones you missed. None of the Shire quests matter for this trophy. Jin_man
Other Trophies: http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/505/13.jpg You got it! Perform an Icon Strike You will have to do an Icon Strike during the sword training at the shire. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/505/15.jpg You Been Working Out? Perform 5000 sword swipes A sword swipe is when you swing your sword to hit something. You will get this trophy as you try to kill 2500 enemies for Middle-Earth Annihilation. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/505/05.jpg Expert in Lore Collect all lore items See The Fellowship. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/505/14.jpg You've really got it 5 consecutive Icon Strikes You will have to do 5 Icon Strikes in a row. An Icon strike happens when you see an arrow on the enemy. If the arrow points to the left then you strike him on the left. The best way to do this and the easiest way I have to say is to go back to the shire. And re-play the sword stall. In the sword stall you have to use the Icon Strikes on dummies. Just hit the dummies with the different icon strikes 5 times in a row. It costs 2 silver to play the sword stall. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/505/16.jpg Banker 1000 silver coins acquired You get silver coins by killing enemies or finishing side missions. You will get 1000 silver coins when going after the side missions. I suggest that if you want this trophy as fast as possible do the missions at the shire as they are easy to do and offer coins. Also when playing through the game hit boxes and try to find chests. Sometimes chests will have 100 silver coins in them. Note: This trophy is not glitched. If you have 1000 silver coins but no trophy just keep getting silver coins. I got the trophy around 1050 silver coins http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/505/21.jpg Which King? Defeat the Witch-king without taking damage You fight the Witch-king near the end of the Pelennor Fields chapter. If you do get hit just click start and click reload checkpoint. Tips: -Most of your attacks should be the Phial of Galadriel (Glowing Light replaces Torch) as it does more damage. -Before fighting him, make sure your sword ability bar is full. -If you have your sword ability bar at the max and then attack him you will do eliminate %40 of his health. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/505/22.jpg A New Champion Defeat the Uruk champion without taking damage You fight the Uruk Champion on the Pelennor Fields chapter. You fight him near the beginning of the chapter. If you do get hit just click start and click reload checkpoint. You also will encounter another Uruk Champion at the end of Helms deep. Tips: -Before fighting him, make sure your sword ability bar is full. -Wait for him to strike/charge at you then attack him. -If you have your sword ability bar at the max and then attack him you will do eliminate %50 of his health. -If you get your soldiers to kill him, you will still get the trophy http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/505/24.jpg Accomplished Acquire all the upgrades Here is a list of all upgrades you can get and where to get them. Just so you know upgrades are weapons and armor you get in the game: Crown of Gondor - You will acheive this automatically after finishing the last level Chain Vest - This does not matter... will change depending on level automatically Anduril - You get this automatically through Story Mode Chain Strike - You get this automatically through Story Mode Heavy Strike - You get this automatically through Story Mode Battle Cry - You get this automatically through Story Mode Bow of Galadrhim - You get this automatically through Story Mode Shield of Thoeden - (Side Quest) Kill all scouts in Rohan Shield of Gondor - You will achieve this automatically after finishing the last level Phial of Galadriel - Fangorn Forest - Save the captain by kills all the enemies. Thoedens Spear - (Side Quest) Collect 5 horses in Rohan Horn of Gondor - You get this automatically through Story Mode (Pelennor Fields) Rally - You get this automatically through Story Mode (Pelennor Fields) Bow of Haldir - After entering Fangorn Forest... Follow the dead end path to the Spider Queen. You will see something glowing green on the ground in one of the corners. Quiver of Glorfindel - Large chest next to a feather in Helm's Deep (to the left of Eowyn) Balins Axe - This is in a chest towards the back of the room where Balin's Tomb is. Thorins Shield - You get this automatically through Story Mode http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/505/04.jpg The Fellowship Collect all the Fellowship Tokens All of the collectibles are scattered across each chapter. Steve_LWL
Found an easy way to get the "A New Champion" trophy... Just run away as soon as the battle starts. Pick off guys from a far with arrows and while also tying to hit the Uruk Champion... Then just let just your soldiers and friends kill him. You will get the trophy even if your not the one to give the last hit. This happened to me and I still got the trophy. EDIT - This is also a good tactic for the witch king. First use your sword at full ability then run up to him right away and use the Phial of Galadriel. Then run away... Let Gandolf handle him and distract him. Pick a good time while he'sfighting gandolf to hit him again. If Gandolf gets hurt... lead the Witch King far away from him and then run back and heal Gandolf. Then do the same thing again. You should get enough blue orbs to make your sword be at full strength again. The last hit with your sword is what will give the final blow and kill the witch king. Steve_LWL
Meanderer Complete all the side quests For this trophy you should mention that if you finish the level then you will have to start from the beginning again with doing the side quests unless you remember which one you did complete and which ones you did not. (this is imporant on Rivendale, as there are around 12 side quests to complete)

Steve_LWL
Do this trophy apply to side quests in the shire also because i did everything and i think it glitch on me. That's a good question... I have not gotten the trophy either yet but I noticed a glitch when I selected Rivendale. Even though I got all the side quests it was hold one as solid (meaning as the side quests were adding up it stayed colored instead of turning grey to color on the startup) I have one more side quest to finish on another level but this kinda freak'd me out a little and I'm hoping it doesn't glitch it for me. I'll keep you informed as I find out more.
Dead to Rights
I started my copy today and played all the way up until the Prancing Pony segment. I went around the map exploring, smashing barrels, eventually meeting the other hobbits etc. After I had finished exploring the map I went to meet with Frodo (the last hobbit in the stalls) and once I did, I quit. I was then taken to the sub menu with Samwise, I hit O and was taken back to the menu with the 3 save file slots. I loaded my save file slot again and was taken back to the sub menu with Samwise, and after a few moments the Meanderer trophy unlocked. Is my copy glitched or something? It's the second trophy that unlocked for me.
Steve_LWL
Dead to Rights... Wow... That's awesome. I will test this first chance I get since that trophy seemed to not pop for me and actually might be glitched (at least for me). Not a lot of people are playing this game right now it seems but from what I can tell, there may be some weird glitches with trophies in this game. Thanks for letting us know. EDIT: I tried this but it didn't pop for me. I followed exactly what you said but it just didn't happen. Your game save must have glitched for some odd reason. MakaSpaka
I don't post on here but I came across this thread when googling why I didn't get the Meanderer trophy. I had completed all sidequests during the course of my playthrough but never got the trophy. I had gotten all other trophies but not that (or platy). Something was certainly screwed up, though, because the second time I went to play the Black Gate the game froze during loading. It would freeze every time I tried to load that level after. I ended up deleting my whole save file and starting new then I read about Dead to Rights' glitch. So on a fresh game save (second slot if that matters) I attempted it and it worked. I got meanderer and platy. I had gotten Merry and Pippin first then Frodo then quit level, exited to game save screen reloaded my save and in the room where Sam is sitting, bam!, I got the two trophies. Hope this info is helpful to someone in some way. Also thank you, Dead to Rights, because if that hadn't worked I was going to have to playthrough the whole game again. slyjak
Could anyone please help me with the morning treasure vases in the Shire? I've looked everywhere for the 15th one. I found a list of all 15, but I'm not sure which I'm missing, can someone post a location of all of them on the map or screenshots of where each of the 15 are? Here's the list: 1 From the man fishing where you got this quest, head due east to find a pot on the left side of the path. 2 Return to the main north/south path and you’ll spy a bridge on the left that runs east/west. The pot is near the bridge. 3 Just north of the previous one, in the yard of the house on the right. 4 Follow the fence to the north (well, the fence runs NE) from the previous one to find it behind a few boulders. 5 On the right side (north side) of the archery area which is on the west side of the map near the river. 6 In the goat paddock, NW of the party field. 7On the blocked bridge in the north that runs NW/SE. 8 On the path running from where you started this level (your house) in the north of the map down to the party tree. It’s on the right side of that path if heading south. 9 In NE of the map, third house on the right. 10 To the south of the Sword party stall, near a big tree, in the corner where the wooden and stone fences meet. 11 Behind the big tree, just south of the Dwarf party stall. 12 Just south of the entrance to the Shield party stall (literally on the right side of the entrance, on the other side of the entrance fence), near the gear that raises the gate for said stall. 13 In the “Plague of the Moles” whack-a-mole area (area is marked by a pink banner with a horse on it). 14 At the base of the large party tree in the middle of the party area. 15 South of the party tree, near a hobbit sawing wood. I have no idea what they mean by the first one, I know I have 2-9, and I checked 10-15 but found nothing which means I probably got them and forgot., I can't find where that last one is. Any help shall be appreciated. It's the last morning quest I need. EDIT: I actually found the last one, lol, it was near the beehive area, never even knew that area was there.
