Introduction

The Last of Us is a PS3 exclusive third-person Survival-Action game, developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It has a relatively long story that consists of 12 chapters and takes about thirteen hours to beat on your first playthrough. The trophies are fairly straight forward and for the most part self-explanatory. All offline trophies are completion based and require you to find everything, listen to everything, upgrade everything and beat the hardest difficulty. Multiplayer has only two game modes, but will also keep you busy for quite a while.

Overall the platinum isn't a quick one which you could do in a weekend. Prepare to play about 50 hours if you want the platinum. Single player will take around 20 hours (If you utilize the survivor+ glitch) and multiplayer will take the same. There is also a lot of collectibles. 141 items for you to collect, 5 tool kits, 37 conversations to trigger, 5 joke book instances and 13 shiv doors to open. As we advise in the walkthrough, split the collectibles up over playthroughs. For example, complete your first playthrough only getting collectibles, second getting conversations and jokes. If you don't you'll be overwhelmed getting them all in 1 playthrough.

GLITCHED TROPHIES

At the moment (patch 1.01) all trophies are glitched! We ourselves did not have any problems with it, while others are having a lot of trouble. Some trophies are more likely to glitch than others. The main ones that seem to be glitching are all the ones that require you to collect something and the difficulty ones. Any of them can glitch though. To minimize the chances you should just not install the patch at all and play offline (completely disconnected from PSN). A very usual way to fix trophy glitches is to delete all the game data (install data, save games) from your PS3 and start from scratch. However, there are some other easy and fast fixes available. You should check out the following thread for detailed instructions:

Walkthrough

Step 1 - Beating the Story on Easy Difficulty, Finding all 141 Collectibles and opening all 13 Shiv Doors

This step is simple. Just play through the story as you wish and get familiar with the game and its controls. Beating the game once is required to unlock Survivor difficulty and New Game+. Easy difficulty can still be a challenge at times, but compared to the other difficulties it will simply save you time. You should also get all of the collectibles that are required to unlock Scavenger. That includes 85 Artifacts, 30 Firefly Pendants, 12 Training Manuals and 14 Comic Books. You will laso want to open all 13 shiv doors too. Don't worry if you miss one. After finishing the story you can still get missing collectibles via chapter select and they will also carry over to your next playthrough. At the end of this step you should have the following trophies:

  • No Matter What - Easy (B)
  • Let's gear up (B)
  • Look for the Light (S)
  • Endure and Survive (B)
  • It was all just lying there (S)
  • I got this (B)
  • Scavenger (G)
  • Master of Unlocking (B)

Step 2 - Beating New Game+ on Survivor, Optional Conversations, Ellie's Jokes and Tools

There currently is a glitch that allows you to play New Game+ on survivor difficulty, without having to replay a completely new game on survivor again. Do the following to make use of this little trick:

  1. Start New Game Plus in the main menu
  2. Complete the first chapter (Hometown)
  3. When the next chapter starts, save and exit to the main menu
  4. Go to Chapter Select and choose the first chapter "Hometown"
  5. Choose Survivor difficulty and play through the entire game.

During this step you should also complete all 37 optional conversations for the I want to talk about it trophy. You also want to hear all 5 of Ellie's jokes for the That's all I got trophy. Make sure to pick up all 5 tool kits (see For emergencies only) as you'll need them to upgrade your weapons. The Tools will also carry over to your next playthrough. During this step you want to upgrade the El Diablo and the Flamethrower first as those are the last two weapons you unlock and it saves you time on the next step. Try to open as many shiv doors as you can and search for upgrade parts and supplements everywhere. As for the conversations, even if you die after listening to a conversation you do not have to do it again. It will still be in your statistics, so you don't run risk of losing any progress here. Again, if you forgot something you can finish it via chapter select. At the end of this step you should have the following trophies:

  • No Matter What - Normal (S)
  • No Matter What - Hard (S)
  • No Matter What - Survivor (G)
  • The Last of Us - Easy + (S)
  • The Last of Us - Normal + (S)
  • The Last of Us - Hard + (S)
  • The Last of Us - Survivor + (G)
  • I want to talk about it (S)
  • That's all I got (G)

Step 3 - Purchase the remaining weapon upgrades and Joel's Supplements (If you haven't already)

After you are done with Survivor+ you can choose "Continue New Game Plus" in the main menu again and change the difficulty to easy in the pause menu. All your progress from the previous two playthroughs (Collectibles, Upgrades) will still be there. You will most likely still be missing a couple hundred parts to fully upgrade all your weapons. Make sure to search all areas thoroughly to find them. If you found enough on your previous two playthroughs then you won't need to play that far. At the end of this step you should have the following trophies:

  • Everything we've been through (S)
  • For emergencies only (G)

Step 4 - Multiplayer (Factions)

There are only 4 online trophies, but they will take quite a while to obtain - a minimum of 168 matches to be exact. Firefly requires 84 multiplayer matches and so does Hunter. You can significantly cut down this time though, see the trophy guide for more info. The other two trophies should come naturally early on, so do not worry about them. It's crucial to keep your survivors alive. If all of them die you need to start with the 84 matches all over again! For more information on the multiplayer please refer to the trophy guide. At the end of this step you should have the following trophies:

  • Knowing the Basics (B)
  • Populace (B)
  • Firefly (G)
  • Hunter (G)
  • It can't be for nothing (P)

Platinum Trophy

Just like any other platinum, earn all of the other 23 trophies to unlock. Congrats!

Find all Firefly Pendants

There is a total of 30 firefly pendants in the game. See Scavenger for more info on the collectibles. Firefly pendants are marked with a http://www.powerpyx.com/Screenshots/the-last-of-us/firefly.png symbol. In game they actually look like dog tags more than pendants. Sometimes you have to shoot them down from trees, but you can also throw a brick to knock them down.

Collect all comics

There is a total of 14 comics in the game. See Scavenger for more info on the collectibles. Comics are marked by a http://www.powerpyx.com/Screenshots/the-last-of-us/comic.png symbol. They are usually found in cupboards and in bedrooms. Ellie will pick up a few automatically over the story.

Find all artifacts

There is a total of 85 artifacts in the game. See Scavenger for more info on the collectibles. Artifacts are marked by a http://www.powerpyx.com/Screenshots/the-last-of-us/artifact.png symbol. Artifacts are the most common collectible in the game and they range from notes, maps, diaries etc.

Find all training manuals

There is a total of 12 training manuals in the game. See Scavenger for more info on the collectibles. Training manuals are marked by a http://www.powerpyx.com/Screenshots/the-last-of-us/training.png symbol. These are probably the most useful collectible in the game. Each training manual improves one of the objects you can craft so it is more useful to you. For example, there's one for med packs that makes the pack give you more health.

Found all collectibles

Important info about patch 1.01 - This patch removed the ability of collectibles carrying across multiple playthroughs. It used to be that if you completed the game then selected "New Game" the collectible stats would carry over. Now they only carry over in new game +. You can remove the patch or never install it if you like however.

Note: Starting a new game that isn't new game + will reset your collectibles to zero! collectibles only stack between playthroughs if you use new game plus on your last save.

There is a total of 141 collectibles in The Last of Us. 85 Artifacts, 30 Firefly Pendants, 14 Comic Books and 12 Training Manuals. There is a total of 12 chapters in the game, the Prologue does not contain any collectibles. To check which collectibles you have already you can press :select: in-game or you can look at the 'Bonus' part on the main menu or the pause screen. None of the collectibles are missable either, you can go back and collect them in chapter select. Once you complete the game you can go on 'Chapters' and it'll tell you which ones you are missing in each chapter. Here are the icons for each of the collectibles, this symbol will appear when you are in range to pick up a collectible:

http://www.powerpyx.com/Screenshots/the-last-of-us/artifact.png = 85 Artifacts

http://www.powerpyx.com/Screenshots/the-last-of-us/firefly.png = 30 Firefly Pendants

http://www.powerpyx.com/Screenshots/the-last-of-us/comic.png = 14 Comics

http://www.powerpyx.com/Screenshots/the-last-of-us/training.png = 12 Training Manuals

To make sure they count in chapter select remember to make sure you hit a checkpoint. You can check when your last checkpoint was by pressing :start: and then looking when the last checkpoint was (will tell you how many minutes ago). Here are videos for all 12 chapters:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1317/241.jpg Let's gear up (B)

Craft every item

There are a total of 6 items to craft and as you progress through the story you get the ability to craft each one, The earliest you can unlock this at the start chapter 5 if you pick up the smoke bomb by the 'Ambush Map' artifact. In order to craft items you need to find ingredients for them. Ingredients consist of; blades, binding, rags, alcohol, explosive and sugar. Here is a list of the items you can craft and the ingredients they need.

  • Melee Upgrade - A melee weapon, a blade and some binding.
  • Shiv - A blade and binding
  • Health Kit - A rag and some alcohol
  • Molotov Cocktail - A rag and some alcohol
  • Bomb - A blade and an explosive
  • Smoke Bomb - An explosive and some sugar

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1317/0B9.jpg Master of Unlocking (B)

Unlock all shiv doors

There are 13 shiv doors in story mode. Each door requires a shiv to be opened. You can craft shivs anytime, any place. Just try to keep 1-2 in your inventory at all times. If you don't have a shiv, don't sweat. You can always come back in chapter select. This trophy will only really be difficult on Survivor because there isn't as many crafting ingredients around. On Easy however there is more than enough so finding parts to make shivs or shivs themselves shouldn't be a problem.

On the main menu under Bonuses - Statistics you can see how many you've already opened. However, there is no way to tell which ones you are missing. So try to get them in correct order. This can be done over multiple runs. Your statistics carry over to New Game+. You can also get the trophy via chapter select after beating the game. Here's a video showing all their locations.

Fully upgrade Joel with supplements

Note: Shiv master IS NOT required for this trophy. You don't need to buy either of it's upgrades for the trophy.

For this you have to collect supplements worth a total of 525 points, that's without "Shiv Master" being counted. Supplements can be found all over but most of them are in side areas and shiv doors. There are marked by a http://www.powerpyx.com/Screenshots/the-last-of-us/supplements.png symbol. You can acquire skills by opening the backpack with :select: and going to the skill section by pressing :r1: or :l1:. All your skills carry over to New Game+ playthroughs. You can replay New Game+ as often as you want to collect more supplement points. If you use the survivor+ glitch you will unlock this about halfway through your survivor+ run, depending on how much exploring you do. The upgrades vary slightly between Survivor and the other difficulties. Here is a spreadsheet showing the available upgrades for survivor and how much each ones costs:

http://img577.imageshack.us/img577/5967/s9h.png

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1317/E38.jpg For emergencies only (G)

Fully upgrade all weapons

To upgrade your weapons you have to collect parts and tools. Parts are shown with ahttp://www.powerpyx.com/Screenshots/the-last-of-us/parts.png symbol. They appear in 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50. They can be found everywhere in the game, but most of them are behind shiv doors and side. Once you have some parts you can upgrade weapons at workbenches. There are many workbenches throughout the game and they are placed along the main paths. They aren't hidden and you will run into almost all of them automatically. The first one you come across is in chapter 3. Weapons however you need to find yourself, some however you will automatically come across. Here is a list of all of them, I have listed the first chance you come across the weapon:

Weapon Locations

[spoiler=weaponlocations]

  • 9mm Pistol (Chapter 2) - Picked up automatically
  • Revolver (Chapter 3) - After killing all the infected to clear a path for Tess and Ellie you'll see this on the floor by a dead solider.
  • Hunting Rifle (Chapter 3) - When your in the capital building you will jump from one part of the building to another. A dead firefly solider by the main corridor entrance has the gun.
  • Bow (Chapter 4) - After you see the clicker get blown up by the nail bomb trap, you will see some arrows in a dead body. Climb up onto the truck and the bow is behind a sofa.
  • Shotgun (Chapter 4) - Bill gives this to you when you reach the church.
  • Shorty (Chapter 6) - After you enter the abandoned camp through the brightly coloured front door, head down the corridor and it's on a table to your left.
  • El Diablo (Chapter 7) - After you cross the dam you will go under a tree and past a yellow digger. In the distance is a crashed Humvee and a small checkpoint box. Inside the checkpoint box is the gun.
  • Flamethrower (Chapter 8) - As soon as the chapter starts head up the small hill in the campus and turn right into the garage. The flamethrower is resting next to a car in the garage.

The weapon holsters are not needed to unlock this trophy. You should try to save all your upgrade parts for the last weapons (Shorty, El Diablo, Flamethrower). That way, you do not have to replay the entire game if you are still missing some parts at the end of your second playtrhough. This trophy is going to take at least a few playtrhoughs so make sure you search all side areas for upgrade parts. All your weapon upgrades carry over to New Game+ playthroughs. You can replay New Game+ as often as you want to farm them. Here is a spreadsheet showing the total cost of all the weapons:

In order to upgrade your weapons though you need to find tools. There is 5 of them in total and they are leveled 1-5. The tools have fixed locations in the game and the locations of each one never changed. Here's a video of their locations:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1317/63E.jpg I want to talk about it (S)

Engage in all optional conversations

There are 37 optional conversations. To trigger them you usually need to look at a certain object for a while. The :triangle: button must then be pressed to initiate the conversation. There are lots of other conversations in the game that do not count towards this trophy! There are only 37 specific ones that do count. Conversations are shown as a http://www.powerpyx.com/Screenshots/the-last-of-us/conversation.png symbol when they are available.

You can also do this via chapter select. After listening to a conversation it will be saved immediately. There is no need to reach the next checkpoint. You can quit out to the main menu as soon as you start the conversation and select a new chapter. There is no way to see which conversations you have already completed. So make sure to do them in correct order! In the statistics section of the bonus menu you can only keep track of how many you have in total. Once it shows 37 conversations you will get the trophy.

Complete the game on Survivor

See The Last of Us - Survivor+ for info on how to stack this with that trophy by using a glitch.

Survivor is the hardest difficulty available in the game and it won't become available until you complete the game once on any difficulty. In survivor enemies have increased health, are more aggressive and you also don't have listen mode available to you either. There are also fewer items available in the game for you to pick up. Here are some basic tips for your survivor runs:

  • Explore - This is very important. Each of the side areas in the game usually house supplements and crafting ingredients, but more importantly ammo. All of these are needed to make survival not be as hard as it needs to be.
  • Shiv Doors - There are 13 of them in the game and each one holds valuable goodies such as ammo and supplements. If you come across a shiv door make sure you use your shiv instead of saving it. Make sure you always have a shiv handy for future shiv door encounters too.
  • Ammo conservation - Ammo is scarce in The Last of Us and it's even more so in survivor. You will want to be stealthy in most areas, as it is possible to stealth 90% of enemy encounters in the game. This way you will only strangle the enemies and won't use any resources. Save your ammo for infected as a lot of the time you can't sneak by them.
  • Bricks & Bottles - These are very useful as you can lure enemies to a certain position with them. Be aware though you can only carry one at a time. You can also use them to melee enemies which does a lot more damage than your fists do.
  • Bow - This is your best friend against the clickers as they won't hear you when you shoot them with it. It is an instant kill in the head. This goes for the other enemy encounters in the game too. You can also use the arrows to lure enemies away, similar to how the bricks and bottles work.
  • Fight or Flight - There are many instances in the game where you can just run to the exit instead of fighting. An example of this would be on chapter 11 with all the soldiers at the end. You can just run down the right hand side and then make a dash for the door. There are many other instances in the game where you can do this too.
  • Friendly AI - In certain chapters you'll have people with you as well as Ellie. An example of this would be chapter 4. Bill has a shotgun and it has infinite ammo. He isn't the best shot though but it is still very useful. Just keep running in circles and let Bill do the shooting. The same goes for other times when you aren't just with Ellie.
  • Enemy AI - As strange as it sounds, enemies can only spot Joel. Ellie could be in an enemy's line of sight and not get seen, so don't worry about your friends giving you away. The best way to avoid the enemy is to crouch sneak behind them and strangle them. Don't waste shivs on regular enemies!
  • Bad Checkpoints - Sometimes a checkpoint will trigger and you have a spec of health left and no med packs to use. As this will make the game a lot harder than it needs to be, you should press :start: then "Restart Encounter". This will put you back before the enemy encounter.
  • Bloaters - These are the hardest enemy to kill in the game, even more so on survivor. The best way to kill them though is with fire. If you throw a Molotov at it or set it on fire with a flamethrower it'll char black and it won't be able to chuck spores at you anymore. If you set it on fire again it'll then only need a couple of shots with any gun for it to die.

Win a game of Supply Raid and Survivors in find match

All you have to do is win the above game modes (the only two available in the game). Supply Raid is basically team deathmatch. The first team to get 20 kills wins. Survivor on the other hand is like elimination in Uncharted. You have 1 life and the aim of them game is to eliminate the other team. The first team to win 4 rounds wins. There have been reports of this not unlocking. If it doesn't unlock, play without a party or just keep trying.

Build your clan to 40 people in Factions

In the multiplayer of this game you have a clan you are the leader of (It's an imaginary clan, not real people). At the start you won't have anybody, but the more food you get the more people will join. All you have to do is keep reaching the food quota then some to get more people to join your clan. Be aware though, as the more people that you have in your clan, the more food you need to get. There have been reports of this not unlocking for some people. The only known way now to unlock this if it glitches is to just keep building your clan up and it'll eventually unlock.

Complete the Hunter Journey

Note: You can significantly cut down the time it takes to complete each journey by quitting multiplayer games. This method is not very online friendly though and Naughty Dog doesn't have a good stance on trophy boosting. Use at your own risk:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/last-us/201840-easiest-way-get-mp-trophies-fireflies-hunters.html

The multiplayer in this game is unlike any other multiplayer game. You have an imaginary clan that you are the leader of. Every multiplayer game you will get food cans that will be used to feed your clan members, if you got more than the quota more people will join your clan. If you get less food cans than what you need some of your clan members will become hungry and eventually get sick. The aim is to reach the end of the 12th week without everybody in your clan getting killed. Here are some tips if you're not doing so well in games:

  • Supply Boxes - Scattered about the map are toolboxes which contain parts, crafting ingredients, items and sometimes melee weapons. They are marked on the map by a little circle and you open them with :triangle:. Try to open the one at your spawn each time you start a new round.
  • Survivors vs Supply Raid - In my opinion Survivors is the best game mode to play. Even if you don't get many kills you will be rewarded food supplies by how well your team does. Whereas with supply raid the games are shorter and you only get cans by picking them up from enemies you kill.
  • Appearing on the enemies mini-map - Unlike most games where you only appear on the mini-map if you shoot, you appear on the map in this game for a few reasons. If you sprint you will appear on the map as a red blip. You will also appear if you shoot your gun without a suppressor. The final reason is if you're the "Last man standing" the enemies will be alerted to your general location on the map.
  • Listen mode - This is probably the most useful thing in the multiplayer. You have limited use of this and it needs to be given time t recharge so use it wisely. To use it hold down :r2: and move the :rs: about to get a 360' view of things. Enemies within distance will appear as a white glow if they are moving.
  • Looting bodies - Once you kill an enemy they will drop a supply can and ammo. Remember to pick these up, especially the food can.
  • Reviving teammates - This is important and you should take downed teammates as a priority over finishing a downed enemy. The more people on the team, the more chance you have of winning. You are also rewarded points for a successful revive.

Now, onto the trophy. Hunter and Firefly are probably the most time consuming trophies in the game. You need to reach 12 weeks with both of the factions for the two trophies. That is a total of 84 games per faction. This might sound easy but along the way you will encounter many risks to your clan such as food shortages, sickness and rival faction attacks.

Missions (Clan Risks)

Every now and then you will get a mission saying something like "Hunters/Fireflys are launching an attack on your camp" "Risk to clan = 20%". You then have to select a mission out of the long list of missions available. They consist of missions such as "Get Downs", "Downs with the Revolver", "Gifting crafted items". It'll then have 3 different objectives like "3 downs", 6 downs", 9 downs". In order to make sure your clan has a very high survival rate you need to complete the 3rd objective. You have 3 days to complete the mission (3 games). If you don't complete it you will lose some of you clan.

Sometimes it'll say 100% Risk to Clan and these are the only ones you have to worry about. When it says this you really have to complete the objectives because if you fail all 3 it's game over and you have to start at week 1 again. These are the only missions you have to worry about and the missions that aren't 100% you don't even have to bother completing. Make sure you choose missions that you think are hard on those missions and save the easy ones for the 100% risk missions. Here is a list of all the times when a 100% risk mission will appear (Credit to Mastodon)

  • Week 6, day 1
  • Week 8, day 2
  • Week 10, day 3
  • Week 11 day 6
  • Week 12 day 4

If you did rubbish in one of the days/games you can quit to the XMB in game and you'll not get penalized for it. On the other hand, you will get penalized for disconnections. Thanks to heartagram_62 for finding out that method. If you ever get disconnected you can quickly quit to the XMB and you will not get a day without food. Once you complete the 12 weeks the trophy will unlock and you can move onto the other faction.

Hidden Trophy

Survive all of Ellie's jokes

There are a total of 5 jokes. Four of them are in chapter 5 (Pittsburgh) and one is in chapter 6 (The Suburbs). There is no progress tracker for the jokes. So make sure to get them in correct order. You can also do this via chapter select. For example: after listening to all jokes in chapter 5 you proceed to the next checkpoint (there is a checkpoint every minute) and go back to the main menu where you load the suburbs area. Always clean the shown areas of enemies and wait a minute until Ellie takes out her Joke Book. You must press the :triangle: prompt when she takes out the book. Sometimes you need to do a series of other actions to initiate a conversation with Ellie. The locations are as follows:

  • #1 Chapter 5 - Pittsburgh (Alone and Forsaken) - You will eventually see some birds get a bullet fired at them, then you'll see some hunters who are talking about one of them being a crap shot. Wait until they walk by then approach the car by the bus. Stand by the car until Ellie says about climbing over. Momentarily Ellie will take out her joke book.
  • #2 Chapter 5 - Pittsburgh (Alone and Forsaken) - When you reach the library it will be full of enemies. Kill them all and wait 1-2 mins for Ellie to get her joke book out.
  • #3 Chapter 5 - Pittsburgh (Alone and Forsaken) - After you see the cutscene where some hunters pull up a plank in the flooded street, turn around and head towards the dead end. On your right is a picture of a model, stand by it until Ellie talks about it. Now just follow Ellie around until she stands still then she'll get her joke book out.
  • #4 Chapter 5 - Pittsburgh (Hotel Lobby) - Climb up the ladder and pick up the "Note to Staff" artifact. You then want to drop down to the lower level again and open the safe behind the counter. Climb up the ladder again and Ellie will tell some more jokes.
  • #5 Chapter 6 - The Suburbs (Suburbs) - This one is slightly more complicated than the last four. When you first reach the suburbs continue down until you reach the right hand turn. Head into the destroyed wall in the side of the house on your right and you'll be in a kitchen. Henry will talk of get togethers and barbecues. Once he's finished head across the road to the "Im armed, will shoot on sight", Henry will talk about it. Now head down the road and stand by the ice cream truck until Ellie talks about it. The final conversation is down the road past the dogs and on your left. There is a firefly symbol on the wall that Ellie will talk about. If all the above was done Ellie will tell the final set of jokes and the trophy will unlock.

The following people helped out by posting strategies and tricks that were incorporated in this guide - thank you all very much!

Please feel free to post. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Happy hunt for platinum :)

Just a suggestion, put some of the videos in spoiler tags or don't embed them all. Having that many embedded vids can temporarily cause browsers to lock up.

Yeah, I didn't mean for the first ones to embed. Just wanted direct links but they embedded anyway :/

I'll fix it after I get some sleep :)

Thank guys!!!:applause:

Between today and tomorrow I should end up with GTA IV, I now have a base with which to begin play this game. (Mostly it is a psychological issue, to have at hand a guide, it makes me feel safer )

Just a technical observation: the (P) is an online trophy ;)

Very nice. Though, the minimum # of playthroughs may in fact be 2. I'm currently in the process of testing the method along with 1 or 2 other members. I'm only up to chapter 3 on the 2nd run though.

Also, that chart you've got the the Supplement upgrades is pretty good. Nice way to figure how many I still need. Any chance of one like it for the weapon upgrades?

PowerPyx, I did not get the craft, look into the light, and it was all just lying there trophies on my first playthrough with the patch and online. I deleted the patch and played offline on my new game plus playthrough. I got "it was all just lying there" after I got the picture from Ellie. However, I tried to collect all 30 pendants and received nothing; I crafted all 6 items and received nothing. Any thoughts?

Ooops :D

Yes, you gotta play multiplayer to unlock it. Good spotting, fixed it, thanks.

As of now, we did not have enough people confirming the method. And we are afraid it might get fixed (it seems more like a bug). Please let us know how it goes. If it is indeed possible then we will adjust some things.

But even if it works, you won't be able to get the trophy for upgrading all weapons in two runs. There are simply not enough upgrade parts and at least a partial third run is required. You should end up missing a few hundred parts, even if you search every inch of each chapter in both runs.

Hmm...

Did you collect all 30 pendants again? I guess you'd have to the pick all of them up again. There isn't a real fix for that at the moment. Offline and without the patch there just seem to be less problems in general, but some stuff still glitches from time to time. Really hope Naughty Dog will patch it asap!

Great guide! And I can't wait to use it! However, you do NOT need to play 168 online matches to get all the online trophies. I just made a thread that explains how you can skip days to save some time. Here's the link: http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/last-us/201840-easiest-way-get-mp-trophies-fireflies-hunters.html

Thanks Garmo, we will look into it. We'll try it out first. If it works it will be added to the guide and full credit will be given.

Lovely guide as always, PowerPyx and Harry :applause: Was actually thinking about playing uncharted 3 but after reading this guide my mind is made up :)

We are happy you like it =)

Have fun with TLoU. The story is amazing, easily one of the best this gen. Multiplayer isn't that bad either (even though it only has two modes). As long as you don't experience any trophy glitches it will be fun.

Awesome :) Hopefully you word it better than I did. Wanted to fully explain it, but felt like I got a bit too wordy.

PowerPyx:

Collectable video for Chapter 9 states that in the beginning you can get an extra 10 artifacts by flipping them. I did as you did and I only got 9 extra, not 10. I checked in statistics before and after.

Don't know if this is a problem for the total amount of collectibles?

No worries, not a bug. If you check everything out in the backpack then one more will unlock a little later, at the end of the mission. It's normal that you do only get 9 in the beginning.
