Roadmap

Overview:

  • Estimated Trophy Difficulty: 2/10 (personal opinion)
  • Trophy Breakdown: 7 (B) 3 (S)
  • Offline: 10
  • Online: 0
  • Approximate Time to 100%: 5 – 8 hours
  • Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 2 (one playthrough for high chaos and one for low chaos)
  • Glitched Trophies: None
  • Missable Trophies: 4 - No Regrets, Redemptive Path, Whisper Ways, & Cleaner Hands

Introduction

The Knife of Dunwall is the second DLC for Dishonored, but the first to actually expand on the story. You play as the assassin Daud in this DLC, he plays very similar to Dishonored’s main character, but you get a few new powers and weapons. Trophy wise, there are no collectibles, and the few trophies in this DLC are all very easy. A short, but entirely enjoyable, 100% awaits you.

Step 1:

Play and complete the DLC in high chaos, earn the two kill related trophies, and purchase all favors.

For your first playthrough I recommend playing for the high chaos ending, and since there are no difficulty related trophies I recommend playing on easy. This makes it so you not only get to enjoy the story, but you will also know where to go and what to do when you’re going for your next playthrough in low chaos. To get the high chaos ending, you need to kill pretty much everyone you see. There is no set number of people you can kill to earn high chaos, so you need to make sure you have killed quite a few people by the time you reach the final mission. You’ll earn No Regrets right before the credits roll.

Since you’re going for high chaos in this playthrough, I also recommend to go for the two kill related trophies: Rats and Ashes & Message from the Empress. To earn Rats and Ashes, you need to find an arc mine and throw it on a rat. Once the rat gets close enough to another person, the arc mine will go off killing that person. For Message from the Empress, you need to be on top of the Empress Statue (in the third mission) and perform a drop assassination on an overseer on the ground beneath you.

Lastly, at the beginning of each mission you get to buy any equipment and upgrades you want. New to the DLC are favors, which allow you to buy secrets located in the first two missions. Simply buy the three favors in the first mission, and the two favors in the second mission, and the trophy Well Connected will unlock.

By the end of this step you will have earned:

(B) Rats and Ashes

(B) Well Connected

(B) Message from the Empress

(B) Just Business

(B) Missing Pieces

(S) No Regrets

Step 2:

Play and complete the DLC in low chaos, don’t kill anyone, don’t alert anyone, and speak to the statue of Delilah.

Now that you know what you will be doing in each mission, it’s time to play stealthy; I also recommend you play this playthrough on easy as any other difficulty will make this step harder than it has to be. Since you’ve already bought all of the favors make sure to stock up on sleep darts, choke grenades, and Piero’s Remedy at the beginning of each mission. You can easily play this DLC without killing anyone, or alerting anyone, with the only powers that you start off with (blink 1 and void gaze 1). If you want to find runes and upgrade your powers, it might make it easier for you; in the long run however, you’d spend more time trying to find them undetected than you would be making mission progress; the choice is yours. Once you’ve beaten the DLC your second time, you will earn Cleaner Hands, Whisper Ways, and Redemptive Path. If you need help getting past all three missions without killing and without alerting anyone, please see my pure stealth walkthrough for a text walkthrough as well as videos.

It should also be noted that you want to speak with the Statue of Delilah in your low chaos playthrough as it’s a lot easier trying to speak to her now than when you are in high chaos. The statue is on the top floor of the Timsh estate in the second mission, once you speak to her you’ll get Stone Cold Heart.

By the end of this step you will have earned:

(B) Stone Cold Heart

(B) Cleaner Hands

(S) Whisper Ways

(S) Redemptive Path

Trophy Guide

You got the information needed from the Rothwild Slaughterhouse

This is a story related trophy and will unlock before you finish the first mission. For more information please see the spoiler below. [spoiler=justbusiness]There are numerous ways that you can find out about the information you’re looking for here. Below is a list of every way I’ve found, there may be more. Bottom line is once you find out the info, the trophy will unlock, so have no fear of missing this trophy.

  1. Speak to the fisherman in his boat and do what he asks, you’ll find him in the water next to a dead whale carcass to the left of the slaughterhouse
  2. Knock out Bundry Rothwild and do the favor Abigail Ames asks of you
  3. Pick up the interrogation note from Rothwild’s office, and bring an unconscious Rothwild to the interrogation room
  4. Pick up the interrogation note from Rothwild’s office, knock out or kill Rothwild, and bring an unconscious Abigail Ames to the interrogation room

You obtained Delilah Copperspoon’s identity from Thalia Timish

This is a story related trophy and will unlock at the end of the second mission. For more information please see the spoiler below.

[spoiler=missingpieces]Unlike Just Business, you either kill the target of this mission, or you set him up and have him arrested; those are your only options. Depending on which playthrough you’re doing will probably dictate which way you take care of him. After the deed is done, speak to his niece at the docks right before the mission ends to earn the trophy.

You completed The Knife of Dunwall in High Chaos

Missable

To earn high chaos, you need to kill your targets, their guards, non-soldier/guard enemies, and civilians. There is no set number of people you need to kill each mission to earn high chaos, you simply need to kill anyone you can see and you will have no problem earning high chaos. This is by far the easier of the two required playthroughs, but just in case you need some help I will list some general tips below.

  • You get one free rune, I highly suggest you use it to unlock 'summon assassin'. With summon assassin, anytime you get in a fight you will be able to (like the name says) summon an assassin. The assassin will remain with you until he’s killed all enemies in your vicinity, or dies trying. Having some backup can make fights really easy, especially in the last mission.
  • Don’t buy any crossbow bolts until the final mission. In the first and second missions, you can find pistols and pistol ammo very easily. Not buying crossbow bolts also saves you money for better upgrades later in the game.
  • If you want to kill stealthily so you don’t have to get into open fights, then purchase the shadowkill power. Combining this ability (which turns stealth killed enemies to ash) with blink can be an awesome lethal-stealth combo.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1123/66.jpg Redemptive Path (S)

You completed the Knife of Dunwall in Low Chaos

Missable

Low chaos means that you haven’t killed anyone, or have killed very few people (only the targets in each mission, for instance). Going for this trophy on your second playthrough will be easier as you know where enemies will be, and what to do and where to go each mission. I highly recommend you play on easy for this trophy, the DLC seems to be quite harder than the main game in regards to being stealthy. Don’t forget to save often either, the game’s autosave feature has a really bad habit of consistently putting you in situations where it’s impossible not to be seen, something you want to try to not happen for the Whisper Ways trophy, which should be combined with this trophy as well as Cleaner Hands.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1123/67.jpg Whisper Ways (S)

You completed The Knife of Dunwall without alerting anyone

Missable

An enemy has been alerted once all three bars have been filled up over their heads, and the bars break. If an enemy has all three bars filled up, then the enemy has not yet been alerted to your presence; they just know something is wrong. This trophy is nowhere near as bad as it sounds, and should be combined with Redemptive Path. You will know at the end of each mission if you never alerted someone as a box will be checked that says "ghost, never detected". If you need help with this trophy, please see my pure stealth walkthrough for a text walkthrough as well as videos.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1123/68.jpg Cleaner Hands (B)

You completed The Knife of Dunwall without killing anyone

Missable

A kill in this game counts as you personally killing someone, or by your actions with machinery (like rewiring an arc wall and a guard walking through). If you knock out someone, and they are eaten by rats, that does not count as a kill. Instead of engaging enemies, try to sneak around them. If that fails or you can’t see a way around, then you always have your sleep darts to rely on. The game will give you a choice for a couple of characters, make sure to choose things like capture or spare instead of kill. You will know at the end of each mission if you never killed someone as a box will be checked that says "Didn't kill anyone". If you need help with this trophy, please see my pure stealth walkthrough for a text walkthrough as well as videos.

You purchased all of the Favors in The Knife of Dunwall

To earn this trophy, you must buy each of the 5 favors. You can buy 3 favors and then 2 favors at the beginning of the first and second missions respectively. You are given 2000 coins at the beginning of the DLC, so you have more than enough coins to buy all 5 favors and still afford ammo, upgrades, etc. The list below shows you what favors you can buy in each mission, and for how much; so as long as you have 250 coins by the start of mission 2 you will earn this trophy. The trophy will unlock once you start the second mission, not as soon as you buy the favors. If you don't buy the favors in mission 1, or the favors in mission 2, they will not reappear in the next mission; make sure to buy them when you see them!

Mission 1

  • Safe code (125 coins)
  • The stolen rune (150 coins)
  • Silent Sabotage (100 coins)

Mission 2

  • Rune drop-off (150 coins)
  • Whale oil delivery (100 coins)

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1123/69.jpg Rats and Ashes (B)

You caused a death using an arc mine and a rat

Arc mines are one of the new weapons in this DLC. The earliest you can do this is in the first mission. All you need to do is find an arc mine and throw it on a rat. When a guard (or any other character, civilians included) walks next to the rat, the arc mine will vaporize them. Make sure to make a quick save before you place the mines, just in case the rats don’t get close enough or the enemy kills you before they kill the enemy. If you’re having trouble or want to see it done, please refer to the video below.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1123/70.jpg Message From the Empress (B)

You performed a drop assassination from atop the Empress statue

To perform a drop assassination you need to be above an enemy, and either jump or blink directly above them. As you are falling down, you will see a prompt to press :r1:, if pressed at the correct time (before you land on the ground/the enemy) you will perform a drop assassination. Now that you know how to do that, to find the empress statue you need to make your way to your office in third mission (it’s a story objective, so you won’t pass it). Once you’re at the office, climb out of the open window so that you’re on a ledge. Continue along the ledge, and you will see the top of the crown of the statue. Blink on top of that and look below to the ground level. Eventually you will see overseers walking around. Once they are just about parallel with you, you want to jump/blink off and drop assassinate one of them. Make sure to make a save when you see one, as this is an easy trophy to mess up. To see it being done, please refer to the video below.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1123/71.jpg Stone Cold Heart (B)

You spoke with the statue of Delilah in Timsh’s estate

This trophy has to do with the story of the DLC, but you are not guaranteed to earn it. The statue of Delilah is located on the top floor of the Timsh estate in the second mission. Sometimes the door is locked, if it is all you need to do is get the key off of Timsh. Once you enter the room, which is located to the right of Timsh’s bedroom and left of the balcony, approach the statue to your left and press :square: to speak to it. If a guard finds you and interrupts the conversation, because you’re playing high chaos or failed to be stealthy, you will still earn the trophy; you will just miss (non-critical) story information. If you want to see where the statue is, or what the statue has to say, please refer to this video.

Knife of Dunwall – No kills and no alerts guide

*Two notes about this guide:*

  •
  • I do not purchase any abilities or powers other than what is given to you at the start of the game. You may find it easier to use other powers in certain situations, but I do not show you where to go to get the runes needed.

  • Each playthrough will have different starting positions for enemies as well as different paths they take. If you feel that the playthrough you are on is too far different from mine, try to take what I tell/show you and make your own strategy, or quit the mission and restart it via the main menu.

Mission 1: A Captain of Industry

Pre-mission loadout: There is no need to buy anything for this mission, everything that is given to you is more than enough. Save your money for the next two missions and for upgrades in the final mission.

You will start this mission on a rooftop where you meet your top apprentice, Billie Lurk. Once you’ve finished talking to her, drop down to the platform below you and move along the ventilation system that's on the wall. You will come across an ex-employee arguing with a guard and a thug, wait for them to disperse before blinking to the platform above you. Move inside the building and be cautious of the guard on the walkway to your left. Blink to the right of you, to the top of a wooden handrail. Hop down and continue along the rooftop until you see a gap to the street below as well as a rooftop across the way. Blink to the rooftop, and keep moving forward as much as you can. You will end up crawling on top of some ventilation systems as well as another rooftop. Billie will blink in front of you to tell you of a man on the river, ignore her and her advice about the man.

Blink to the walkway to the left and below you, then blink to the platform located outside of a room that is painted red. Billie will again appear to talk to you about granny rags, ignore her again and keep walking forward outside of the room via the window. Turn left and you will see a balcony, you want to wait on the rooftop overlooking the balcony until a guard appears. Use your sleep dart on him and hide his body or don’t; it's up to you. There is a pipe sticking out to the left of the balcony, blink on top of that, then blink down to the bush below you. Stay crouched and hug the wall to your right. Turn the corner and still keep the wall to your right, you will see an opening and a guard talking to some workers behind a locked gate. Blink up onto the pipes at the ceiling and walk past the gate. When the guard stops talking to the workers, and all the guards have left the area, you want to pickpocket the time card off of the worker with the black hair. If the black haired worker isn’t behind the blonde haired worker, throw a choke grenade when they are close together, and wait for all the guards to leave. Drop down and take the card from the worker while he is knelt down.

Once you have the timecard, make your back to the rooftop overlooking the balcony where you used a sleep dart on the guard, and face the large silos in front of you. Get a running start off the roof, and blink on top of the closest one. Then drop down onto the pipes in front of you, and blink onto the roof in front of you. Turn to your right and blink onto the building that is identical to the one you’re on. From there, blink onto the roof of the small shack where the slaughterhouse door is, drop down via the large opening, and use the timecard to enter the slaughterhouse.

Once inside the slaughterhouse, immediately blink to your right and move behind the train car while the 3 people are having a conversation. Look forward and wait for the enemy to turn around before blinking to where he was. Once you’re there, and no one can see you, blink onto the rafters and stay on them until you no longer can. Keep moving on the rafters until you see a processor belt below you. Get on the conveyor belt, go through the tiny hole, and go into the door to the right of you. There are no enemies in this room so go through the other door and blink onto the pipes in front and above you. Then blink onto the walkway and go the left. You will be inside an office, so grab the interrogation note off the desk and walk back out to the walkway. This time enter the other door (to the right) and sneak behind Bundry Rothwild and knock him out. Knock out Abigail Ames or leave her alone, it's up to you. Pick up Rothwild’s body and go to the walkway, blink back on the pipes you were on before, and continue along them until you see a door to your right (not the one you came through). Enter the door, listen to what Billie has to say, and peek through the keyhole on the other door. If you can’t see anyone, then go to the room where it shows there is the interrogation room. If you have to wait, just stay behind the door looking through the keyhole until it's safe.

Once inside the room with the interrogation chair, and Rothwild is in it, flip the switch to interrogate Rothwild 3 times; when you get a choice of what to do with him, leave him in the chair. Open the door in front of Rothwild and blink onto the rafters. Now just take the same path you took in the beginning to get back to the entrance/exit of the slaughterhouse. Once outside, blink onto the roof above you via the opening. Follow the path you took all the way back to the rooftop overlooking the balcony where you used a sleep dart on a guard. From there, just follow the objective to where Billie is. Now you want to equip your choke grenades, and throw one to the left of the dead body. This will make the overseer on the right move closer to Billie, so while he is moving throw another choke grenade right at Billie. This will catch both overseers in the choke dust, and Billie can escape. Meet up with Billie again, then follow the path you took in the very beginning. Once you meet up with Billie yet again, the mission will be over.

Mission 2: Eminent Domain

Pre-mission loadout: This is the first mission that you are actually going to need supplies. Completely max out your sleep darts, choke dust grenades, and Piero’s Spiritual Remedy. Save the rest of your money for supplies and upgrades for the final mission.

Wait until Billie knocks out the guard in front of you, when she moves out of the way keep going forward and blink on top of the first metal overhang you see. Hop over the metal fence and then blink on top of the small building to your right. Blink onto the next building, and then blink on the ground to the right of the small metal fence and tree; make sure to crouch here. Once the fence is no longer on your left, blink to the right of the guard shack, and then on top of it. Wait for the guard below and to the right of you to kill the rat and move past the arc wall generator. Once he’s passed by, blink to the right of the arc wall generator and remove the whale oil. Blink past the deactivated wall and climb up the steps. You will see a long metal balcony right above the alleyway you’re supposed to take, so blink up there. Zoom in on the guy harassing the woman, and shoot him in the head with a sleep dart. 2 of his friends will hop down where he was, so take cover against the wall and lean to the left to spot them. Take them out with sleep darts as they separate so you don’t alarm either of them. Once that’s done, hop down and speak to Thalia Timsh.

Blink up the wall with the 3 skulls, and over the ventilation system. Be very careful not to trip the tripwire here, it will send a grenade past you that very well may hit the unconscious thugs behind you. Grab the sleep darts in here, and avoid the other tripwire. Outside of the window, you will see 2-3 enemies in a small area along with a door to the right and a wooden fence to the north. The guards vary positions and position paths, so try to stealthily sneak behind the enemies and KO them one at a time. Once the area is clear head inside the building, but be careful, there will 2 – 3 people inside the house and at random locations. Having your sleep darts equipped will help here. Make sure to stop at the second floor and pick up the key off the table in the farthest room back (it will be by a sink and some chairs and a couch covered with blankets). Make your way to the third floor and outside the window, drop onto the ventilation system and blink to the building’s rooftop across from you. Stay behind the mini-chimneys in case the guard is on the balcony, otherwise blink onto the metal overhang on the right side of the building in the alleyway below you. Blink on to the store front to your left, and then onto the guard shack in front of you. Wait until the guards finish their conversation, at which point one guard will leave, then blink down in front of the door and use your key to open it.

Billie will appear to your left and try talking to you but it’s pointless chatter, so just keep walking forward until you see some boxes before an arc wall. Climb onto the boxes, turn around and blink onto the small piece of metal frame attached to the 2 buildings, and then open the door by the balcony. Go inside and drop down the hole in the floor to learn how to non-lethally kill your target. Blink back up and go outside to where the metal beam is. Go onto the other roof and follow the objective marker until you get into the apartment. Find the key, note, and journal entry and then leave the apartment again. Now go back to those boxes you originally climbed onto, and blink to the balcony above and in front of you with the arc generator; remove the whale oil if you want, but it doesn’t matter. Continue blinking along the balconies until you reach the optional objective of meeting up with Billie. Talk to her to find out where Timsh is (if he’s not on the top floor, do everything I do until you reach the top floor and wait for him to get there; it’s the easiest way to do this non-lethally) and gather the free supplies in front of you. Drop down to the street level and get on top of the guard shack in front of the manor. Blink to the second floor balcony and open the door, lean around the doors to make sure no one is coming.

Move to your right and into the library, blink on top of the bookshelves, and when the guard opens the door blink to the right of the open door. Then blink onto the stair case, this will let you avoid the other guard to your left. Go up the staircase and open the double doors, open the glass door to the balcony on your right, and blink to the balcony across the way. Use the key you got to open the door, and collect the bag of weeper remains in the room to your right. You can open the bookshelf in the back now if you want, but it doesn’t matter. Go back to the balcony, and instead of blinking back to where you were, blink to the balcony above you (that is connected to the manor). Open the balcony double doors and wait on the railing for the guard to come out, shoot him with a sleep dart, then peek inside and shoot the lone guard, carry his body to the other guard and close the doors.

Go inside and go under the table with the lit candles, blow them out first, and open the door in front of you. You’ll see a maid and hear Timsh speaking to her, blink up to the bookshelf and then the chandelier. Wait for the conversation to end, go behind Timsh and replace the documents, then blink back to the chandelier and bookshelf. When the maid isn’t looking blink out of the bedroom and close the door. Don’t walk down to the third floor, use the balconies to blink there. There will be a single door in front of you on the third floor, use lean to open it without being seen and blink onto the chandelier. Wait for the guards to finish their conversation, hop down when they aren’t looking, open the chest with the key and steal the inheritance letter.

Now use the stairs to get back to the library, but be careful of the 2 guards we snuck by. When it’s safe, blink onto the chandelier above the staircase, and then blink in front of the door leading to the basement. Go down the stairs and be careful of the 2 maids here. Enter the room with the vent unit and place the weeper remains, exit the room through the locked door to your far left. Go up the stairs in front of you, use a sleep dart on the roaming guard and hide his body. Make your way back to the top of the guard shack, and back to the second floor balcony. Go inside the manor, and stealthily go by the library one more time to the third floor. Enter the apartment where you got the weeper remains, and go through the bookcase secret door, exit the locked door in the back left.

Stay on the rooftops until you can see the area where you met Thalia and the deactivated arc wall. There will be 2 guards on the ground level, so be careful of them, and use the same method you used to get here to exit. You will see Thalia at the docks where Billie choked out a guard. Speak to her first, then Billie to end the mission.

Mission 3: The Surge

Pre-mission loadout: If you can afford it I recommend sleep dart capacity 1, wristbow reload, and maxing out your sleep darts, choke dust grenades, and Piero’s spiritual remedy.

Open the door in front of you and Billie will speak to you, once that’s done leave the 2 sleep darts in front of you in case you need them later. Go over to the large pipe and blink on top of it, then use the chain to climb to the top. When you get to the top there will be 3 overseers, ignore them and go out the window being careful of the overseers outside. Stay on the balcony and use the pieces of sheet metal as cover. Blink onto the metal overhang in front of you, then over the broken wall and past the broken desk. Blink onto the large metal overhang bridge and hug the wall to your right, turn the corner and be careful as there are 2 overseers here. Wait until both are leaning against the balcony before using a sleep dart on them, if they are leaning against it they won’t become alert when the guy next to them gets knocked out (they’re bad at their job). Go down the staircase and be careful of the one overseer who enters the room, look at the map on the table, then make your way back to the room next to the chain you climbed up on.

Ignore these overseers again by sticking to blinking on top of the walls. Once you’re past them, you will come across your first tied up assassin and an overseer who’s using a music box. Wait for the effects to wear off before blinking behind the large filing cabinet. Wait for the overseer to come to the desk near you, and when he leans over to read the note use a sleep dart on him. Blink to the top of the filing cabinet and throw a choke dust grenade by the open window, this will make one overseer investigate the KO'd overseer and one go to the right of the assassin. Use a sleep dart on the overseer to the right, then use one on the overseer to the left. Untie the assassin and pick up the sleep darts by the first overseer on the desk. Go through the large window, and blink to the window on the right and above you; not the one by the ventilation system to the left.

Once you’re up there, there will be 2 overseers who like to have a conversation in front of you. Wait until one starts walking towards you before sleep darting him, then immediately take out the other. Hide the body of the overseer that wasn’t walking towards you, open up the double doors in front of you and zoom in on overseer Hume which will start a conversation (that will eventually leave Hume by himself, which is good). Wait for another overseer to your left, do not go past the double doors, and shoot him with a sleep dart once he’s walking towards you in the non-lit up side of the room so you don’t have to hide his body.

Once the overseer by Hume has left, zoom in on Hume's head and shoot him with a sleep dart. Wait until the overseer on the balcony turns around and blink towards Hume’s body. Loot his body for a note, don’t bother hiding it they will find it anyway. Leave the room via the large hole to the left of where Hume was. You will see 3 overseers in the decrepit building directly across from you, 2 harassing an assassin and the last one just chilling. KO the one by himself first, then shoot the overseer on the right in the back of the head. Quickly do the same to the last overseer, and blink over to untie your assassin. Use the edge of the floors to quickly drop and descend to the ground floor where there is another tied up assassin in front of you.

Switch to your regular crossbow bolts, and fire one at the street lamp, this makes the 2 overseers here investigate, without making enough noise that more overseers investigate. Take them out in whichever order you want, and untie your assassin. The final assassin can be very easily reached from the last assassin, look at the ventilation system next to the street lamp and blink up there. Walk along on top of it until you see three overseers, one has a music box that is by himself. Throw a choke dust grenade at the 2 close to each other, then one at the one with the music box. Sleep dart the 2, and if you’ve run out of sleep darts, get behind the last overseer and choke him out. Free your final assassin and make your way up the building. You want to go where you were towards the beginning of the mission, like where you were going to view the map. Meet Billie there, and tell her to capture the remaining overseers. Go to your right and drop down for a cutscene. When you see Billie again, spare her life, enjoy the cutscene, and realize you just beat the DLC with no alerts, kills, bone charms, or upgraded powers. Plus you’ll get a couple trophies.

Damn, you beat me to it, but nice guide!

I'm not sure if you've added this yet (I just skimmed your text walkthrough since I completed the DLC already), but you should add a tip on getting the Legal District key as it's somewhat out-of-the-way. Otherwise, it's very detailed, great job! :applause:

Thank you :). If you look at the second paragraph, towards the second half, I wrote in where the key was. I might be reading something that isn't there, but when you say the key can be somewhat out of the way, are you saying the key location is randomized?

I know when I played high chaos it was across the street and in a high up apartment, but both times I played low chaos it was always in the second story of the building right next to where you can find the note that says where it is.

I know when I played high chaos it was across the street and in a high up apartment, but both times I played low chaos it was always in the second story of the building right next to where you can find the note that says where it is.

Yeah, that's where I'm talking about. Sorry if I skipped it lol, it was too long, couldn't keep myself focussed. But nevermind that now that it's there :)

No worries lol, I wouldn't read that wall of text if I had completed the DLC either :). I was just getting nervous thinking that I screwed something up with the guide, and how i'd have to make another video just for the key locations and how i'd link it to the video, to the guide, etc. Everything's good though, so thanks for the help.

Thanks for the guide, very helpful.

My stealth playthrough was going well, until I got to the third assassin on the final level. Not sure why, but everyone in the level went on hyper alert. I was getting spotted through walls, and I could barely take out anyone with darts without everyone in the area seeing me. It was so frustrating. No line of sight, or sounds rules applied, I was spotted all the time even when crouching on a roof, in the dark. It took over 30 retries to just get the last two guys.

I checked your stealth video for help, but nothing you did worked for me, I was always spotted. Not sure why this happened, but it was ridiculous, especially given that it was fine for the first two levels, and I was on easy.

Anyway, your guide is very slick, I just wanted to know if anyone else had encountered anything like this.

If you haven't beaten it by now, try completely restarting the mission (quitting out to the main menu and restarting, not from the pause menu). I haven't had any problems like that with this game, but i'm sure you're not the only one that will report this happening to them. Sorry for any aggravations received during your playthrough, I tried making the stealth guide as simple as possible but when the game randomizes guard positions each time you play there is no 100% guaranteed method for beating it.

Great guide! Just want to point out that for Rats And Ashes, you don't have to kill an enemy. I threw an arc mine onto a rat next to another rat, the mine zapped the extra rat (and eventually the one it was riding on, too), trophy popped. So you can get this trophy literally anywhere in the game.

Great guide. The stealth perfect run videos helped A LOT.

One note I want to make, just in case I'm not the only one who had trouble.

Third level, third video @ 7:33. He shoots the bolt to the right to lure the two overseers out. I always aggro linked the guards from the right up the ramp when I tried it that way. In which case, I ended up shooting the bolt to the left, behind the overseers, and taking them out with sleeping darts in a similar fashion to the video.

Otherwise, great work - again, this helped a lot.
