revolt_rjd
I quit playing this game shortly after I bought it over a year ago due to a glitch within the questline of the thieves guild and lack of Bethesda support in fixing it. I believe this glitch occurred sometime between the quests 'Loud and Clear', "Dampened Spirits", and/or "Scoundrel's Folly" in which, upon completion of one of the quest, the automatic quest start of the following quest never happened. I would like to continue to attempt to finish this game but will not even pick it up if any, if not all, the glitches/bugs have not been fixed. I now remember that the bug that I am referring to occurred after "Loud and Clear" which caused me to to be able to start "Dampened Spirits" Edited January 29, 2014 by revolt_rjd
dune dune
Bethesda software didn't fixed all bugs and glitches in PS3 - XBOX and PC for now ,Skyrim in PS3 is dead bcuz its very lagging and freezing many times for no reasons comparing to XBOX & PC
Supremacy
The game runs great now, Legendary Edition not necessary the vanilla disc fully patched plays fine as well.
DATAZO1D
Yeah, I just started the LE on the PS3 and thus far it runs as smooth as it does on the 360. I really can't tell a difference and I've been playing the 3600 version for the last 2 years.
Terminator
I've got the Legendary Edition and so far it's crashed 5 times in 60hrs and badly glitched at least 3 times (though I did manage to work round them), the lag is still bad in places as well. Maybe I've just been unlucky but this still feels pretty glitchy from what I've played so far .
BerserkerBR
A month after buying LE and almost 90 hours later i agree with Terminator. You can't say it's as glitch and freezing as Fallout, since my 6 freezings weren't a problem as i save frequently, but i was expecting better results. At least no memory leak problem on the save file, lol.
Re_Davo
Hey guys. I'm thinking of starting this. Like fallout, should I do all the DLC's on a different save on a lower level to avoid freezing issues? Or is it possible to achieve everything on 1 save? Terminator
That's a nice idea but you will be slaughtered if you try it. You can't really finish Dragon Guard until you're Lv 81 or higher because that's when the Legendary Dragons start spawning. Hearthfire can't be started until you're a Lv 9 or 10 but you have to do a lot to finish it and have tens of thousands worth of gold in the bank to pay for all the building work. BerserkerBR
Idk minimum lvl for Dawguard quests, but you get vampire attacks warning from guards after lvl 9 or 10. About combat, you can always put on baby easy, despite spoiling all the fun. Also, my savefile so far is 13mb but there's no memory leak like Fallout series, so new chars are good but not a necessity, i think.
Shanehi185
I played the vanilla version not to long ago and after 100+ hours the only problem I had was getting stuck on a loading screen twice. If you throw a lot of crap out on the ground it can cause lag and crashes after a while because there are to many things for it to keep up with. Any junk you don't want just sell to a npc if you can or put in a corpse and it will help out a lot.
BerserkerBR
Yeah, using corpses as "trash can" is a good way to avoid lag, freezing by making the game monitor to many stuff changed from original place. Just as a note, wiki says bodies disappears after 3 days and all stuff in the game resets after 30 or 31 days.
TEDONSNOW
I think it's as good as it will ever be on PS3. Personally I had very few glitches and it froze a few times. Although not great, I am willing to put up with that on a game with so much depth and 250+ hours (so far) of game play.
jopat1992
Kinda laggy after I installed the 3 dlcs but getting away from water then waiting for 1-3 days fixed it for me sometimes. Or just I'm playing for hours then after not using my ps3 it is smooth again. I also agree having a corpse as a trash or other containers. Saves you the trouble of having a laggy game. Wandering Fish
i have had the LE for while now and never played it. going to start soon. will be expecting a few glitches -_-
raikenblade
The only glitches i encounter was freezing on the loading screen. on the legendary edition. I also notice that legendary dragons tend not to give souls. even though i never killed it before. As several other people have said being near water, tends to make skyrim lag badly, i mean it acutally froze on me several times. including going toward a boss fight against a Dragon priest, only for the priest to 1hk im like O.o and im lv 81.
