SnowSakura
Hello I'm trying to 100% I saw her standing there on expert bass but I'm doing god awful with it, can 100% on 90 speed but usually only get around 50% on full speed any tips? I can't seem to keep up with the song
squodge
I'm assuming you're alt-strumming, i.e. strumming alternatively up and down? If not, that's where you're going wrong. I've seen people fail songs on Easy because they couldn't alt-strum (my mate can't beat Through the Fire and Flames on easy because he refuses to learn how to alt-strum). chenguo4
Definitely alt strum. Also, where ever you can, don't move your fingers. Like if the song goes YOYB, keep one finger on yellow the whole time. This will cut down how fast your left hand needs to move.
Nerdcrest
I personally managed to get 99% on full/normal speed without alt. strumming. Either way works, really. I just ended up missing one measly note. >_>

I can alt-strum that song all day long, but continually down-strumming it means I can play it just once!
Devotheus
I have problems alt-strumming while playing bass... probably because I've played bass for 16 years and never used a pick, so it just feels wrong . Actually there should be 2 strum bars for your right hand... I'd love that And you really can't play GH controller with your fingers like you would do with real bass, the strum bar is just too sluggish. But well, with mostly down-strumming spiced with alt-strumming in some phrases I got 97% on full speed without going into practice mode. The patterns for bass in this song are quite easy in fact... it just means much more job for your left hand with just one string and five frets than it would do with real bass. SandeProElite
I didn't even alt-strum on this. The notes are going pretty slow so I didn't need to. Got 100% on my first try.
