Mod edit: This is NOT for posting things you personally are selling - create a thread for that given you meet the requirements to make threads in this forum

This thread is for posting good deals on Playstation 3 Hardware, Games, and accesories. All deals are welcome and try to keep the chat to a minimum.

Try to add links to the item as well to make it easier on the person viewing the deal. Try to also specify the region it's from.

I don't know if this is a good deal or not. It is to me, since I plan on buying the game and it's cheaper now.

When you buy Gran Turismo 5: Prologue you get a $15 Amazon gift card once you purchase the game, pretty good deal in my opinion. The offer ends on July 22nd, I don't know if this is for the UK people or not.

GT:P was always $40. :p

Oh I thought it was $60 when it was first released. Well not a good deal then.

That shows how much I use to care about the PS3 games.

EDIT: I also edited my other post, it now includes a good deal.

Toy's R Us is having a huge clearance sale right now and they have Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion for $9.98, and with there 20% of clearance games sale going on right now it's only $7.98. Can't beat it at that price. Might be worth checking your local Toy's R Us to see if they have it.

They are out there...also if you trade your Sixaxis to EBgames you might get some credit and get a better rate on a DS3 just call and ask.

I got my DS3 from the "gamecrazyshop" on Amazon. It was about 10 dollars off, with cheap shipping, which I thought was too good to be true. It wasn't, to my great pleasure. The shipping was lightning-fast, the package arriving even before the predicted ship date (it came in just about 3 days). The controller was new in packaging. I've been using it since April and it's been perfect.

Look for it on the amazon link Specter1471 gave.

Cex.co.uk

Really good deals. UK only.

By the way, since this thread is about Playstation 3 deals, shouldn't it be in the Playstation 3 forum ?

The Games forum is for PS3 games since this is a PS3 Message Board to begin with.

You can discuss other games in their respective forums, though.

Parkerktm, if you could keep updated offers in the main post. Otherwise the thread will be a mess.

This is now Unstuck. The OP is obviously not active and won't be keeping the list up to date.

If anyone would like to start their own thread about Special Offers, I'll lock this and we can move to another. Otherwise, you can keep posting the offers you find and people will have to look at all the pages, instead of the first post.

Oh the OP isn't supposed to keep the list up to date. Their would be too many good deals and too many updates to keep a list of all the good deals. I mean that's just what I think, but we could do it your way also. :p

The problem with good deals is that they don't last forever so that's why updating the OP would be a pain. I know this is getting a cliché, but take a look at the similar thread over at x360a...

875 replies with 22k views which equals a success in my eyes :p

Gonna restick :D

Hm... Pretty hard to keep up either way.

My suggestion is:

Set up a script on a seperate page on the website, with the option for users to submit their deals. The deals will be listed by day, with the current day being on top. Maybe the option for users to add an expiry date for the offers so they're removed from the list on their own.

Something very similar to this: http://www.slickdeals.net/

Maybe I need to stop hating messy threads. :p

I am willing to start my own thread and I will update it constantly. When a special offer is over I will remove it from the list.

Can I start my own thread about Special Offers?
