Introduction:

The Ballad of Gay Tony is the second piece of DLC released for GTA IV. You play as Luis Fernando Lopez, a Dominican ex-drug-dealer. He is now the personal bodyguard of Anthony "Gay Tony" Prince, a successful nightclub owner and socialite. After the morose and depressing play in the Lost and Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony is a return to the high octane days of Vice City and San Andreas.

Bigger guns, better missions and more interesting characters make this an episode worth checking out. Almost a game in itself, it puts many other companies DLC to shame.

Walkthrough:

STEP 1: The Main Story

The best place to start is the main story missions. Play the game through from beginning to end. You will unlock everything you need along the way, and earn some much needed cash which you can use for weapons later on. There are 26 main story missions that you need to work through. All you have to do is follow up all the initialled icons on the map. If you are in a rush, use the taxi’s to jump straight to them.

At the end of the story, you will have unlocked:

TBoGT: Diamonds Forever

TBoGT: Maestro

STEP 2: Gang Wars

These missions are short and generally involve stealing some form of stash. They can generally be completed in less than ten minutes each, so they won’t take too long. They can get a little boring and repetitive though.

After 25 Gang War missions, you will have unlocked:

TBoGT: Snow Queen

STEP 3: Mission Maximum

Clearing every mission to 100% can take quite a while. It basically doubles the lifespan of the game. But once you get into ‘clearance mode’, they can be rattled off fairly painlessly. It’s a good thing that the missions are good fun though, as replaying bad ones would have been painful. Allow 7 or 8 hours to clear all 26 missions.

After clearing every mission, you will have unlocked:

TBoGT: Past the Velvet Rope

TBoGT: Gold Star

STEP 4: Miscellaneous

All that is left then is to complete the base jumps, win the fighting championship, hit the flag a few times in the driving range, dance in the clubs and perform the ultimate skydive. These can be completed at any time and in any order. They are all relatively quick to complete. It's just a matter of doing them

After tying up the loose ends, you will have unlocked:

TBoGT: Gone Down

TBoGT: Four Play

TBoGT: Bear Fight

TBoGT: Catch the Bus

TBoGT: Adrenaline-Junkie

Cheats: The trophies in TBoGT are not disabled by the use of cheats. The only drawback is that mission scores are disallowed if a cheat is used during that mission. So keep their use strictly between missions only. They can prove handy at times though, just to keep everything moving. Here are a few that could prove useful:

Full Health: 362-555-0100

Full Health and Ammo: 482-555-0100

Lose Wanted Level: 267-555-0100

Spawn FBl Buffalo: 227-555-0100

They should help you to have full Health, Armor and Weapons before starting each mission. The FBI Buffalo is also a handy spawn car. A good all-rounder, it is fast, stable, toll exemption and has four doors so that you can carry passengers. The siren also helps out from time to time.

TBoGT: Gone Down (B)

Complete all base jumps.

There are 15 different base jumps spread across Liberty City. They can be broken up into three different jump types:

- Target Jumps: hitting a single target a distance from the jump point.

- Chopper Jumps: hitting several checkpoints after leaping from a chopper.

- Vehicle Jumps: targeted landings onto a slowly moving vehicle.

http://tinyurl.com/3298vn4

Target Jumps: These are the easiest and most straight forward of the three jump types. It is just a matter of hitting a target in the distance as close to centre as possible. Since speed is not really an issue in these mini-missions, (you only have to complete them, you don’t have to be fast), open your parachute early. Line yourself up so that the target is in the triangle created by the chutes cables. You should be able to tweak your height with small up and down movements on the stick.

If you find you are falling short of the target, have Luis lift his feet. This will help you lose as little height as possible. If you still find you are falling short, try to open your chute earlier in the jump.

Chopper Jumps: This is a slightly trickier jump type. You jump for a chopper, and have to float through several circular targets on the way down.

My big tip: open the parachute almost right away. You will need time to set yourself up for each target, and you cannot rise back up once you drop below the level of a target.

They are often set up at awkward angles, particularly the first one you have to hit. If you open up the Chute early, you can often circle around to give yourself a better run at the checkpoint. You can keep an eye on where the next target is by pressing :circle:.

Vehicle Jumps: These are a slightly harder variation on the target jump. Most of them will have you land on a flatbed truck. The same technique will work for these. Open early, and try to keep the target vehicle in the triangle or the chute cords.

A couple of the jumps are started on a bike. It is important that you try to leave the bike as it reaches the top of its arc in the air. This is important for two reasons: You need to height to make the target and you need to cover distance before leaving the bike.

Note: You do not need to have a parachute in your inventory for these events. You are automatically given one when you start the jump.

Also: once a jump has been successfully completed, it will turn grey on the map.

TBoGT: Diamonds Forever (B)

Complete the Trinity.

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed if you play the whole story. Once you finish the mission Not So Fast, this one should pop.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/33/58.jpg

TBoGT: Four Play (B)

Hit a flag with a golf ball four times.

The driving range pier is unlocked after you complete the Practice Swing mission for Gay Tony. You can head there any time afterwards, and play against one of your mates (Armando) or be paired against an AI competitor. The flag will move randomly around the range after each shot.

Firstly, you should use the :r2: button to zoom in on the targeting reticule. Make sure the centre spot of the target is placed directly on the bottom of the flag stick. Once that’s done, press :cross: to start the swing meter. Let it rise to the top of the bar, and then try to hit :cross: just as it passes the line marker on the way back down.

The shots always fly straight, so this distance marker is the only variable. Hit it on or near the money, and you should be pinging flags at least half the time. Hit four, and the trophy is yours.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/33/59.jpg

TBoGT: Bear Fight (B)

Win the L.C. Cage Fighters championship.

After you complete the mission Mommy’s Boy, where you sort out Santos the loan shark, you will be able to enter the Liberty City Cage Fighters.

If you enter and decide to compete, you can take part in the L.C. Cage Fighters Championship. It is broken up into six rounds. In each round you will face three different fighters one after the other:

Round 1: Boxer – Boxer – Boxer.

Round 2: Boxer – Boxer – Boxer.

Round 3: Boxer – Batter – Knifer.

Round 4: Batter – Boxer – Knifer.

Round 5: Batter – Boxer – Knifer.

Round 6: Knifer – Knifer – Knifer.

Your health will carry over from each round to the next. You will heal a little between each round, but only between a quarter and a third of a bar. This means you really have to try to keep your damage to a minimum.

You have a few basic moves:

:circle: = standard punch.

:triangle: = alternate punch.

:square: = kick.

:cross: = block and dodge.

You can also counter attack. If you can time it right, a press of :cross: at the same time as your opponent attacks will give you a dodge. Quickly follow that with a press of :circle: or :triangle: will perform a powerful counter punch. And if the opponent is wielding a weapon, you will take the weapon off them. This can be tricky to pull off, so be careful.

http://tinyurl.com/33sxq8c

Taking on a Boxer: Just lay into these guys. If you keep on top of them, and keep the punches flying, they will go down nice and easy. If you find they are getting a few hits, use a kick to throw them off their stride.

Taking on a Batter: Be careful of these guys. One good hit for them will take almost a third of your life bar. The key to keeping them at bay is a simple combo:

:square: - :circle: - :circle: - :circle: - BACK OFF – Repeat.

The idea is to make them come to you. Once they enter your range, go straight for the kick to the knees. Follow that quickly with a three or four punch combo. Then back the hell off. Right after your combo finishes is the most dangerous time to be close to your opponent. Drop back so they have to come to you, leaving them open to a repeat performance.

Taking on a Knifer: Be REALLY careful of these guys. Once they get a single hit in, they can then take you out in a second or two. Use the same tactic as shown for the Batters above. Make them come to you, go straight for the kick to the knees, punch combo, and back the hell off. Do it right, and they may not even get one hit in.

TBoGT: Catch the Bus (B)

Dance perfectly in both Tony's nightclubs.

As you should already know, Tony owns two clubs: Hercules and Maisonette 9. Go to Hercules first. Start to dance with the woman on the dance floor. And try to keep the beat as well as you can. The key to this one is not to cock it up too badly. It does not have to be “perfect”, you just have to keep the meter rising.

The movements are on a loop, so it will always go: move the stick to the beat, hold the stick, and follow the beats with :l2: and :r2:. It will repeat four of five times.

http://tinyurl.com/3248xal

Once you max out the bar, and haven’t made too many mistakes, a small cut-scene will start. A dude will challenge you to a dance off. Just follow the directions on screen. It’s not too difficult.

Once you have seen him off, you will return to dancing with the girl. Again, max out the bar. If you do all this correctly, a mass dance set will start. Keep following the on screen prompts. Once it’s complete you will hear a voice say that the Bus-stop is complete. That’s one down, one to go

Head on down the street to Maisonette 9 and repeat. If memory serves me, you will not get challenged by a dude here. But the rest still applies. Once you finish the Bus-Stop dance, the trophy should pop.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/33/61.jpg

TBoGT: Snow Queen (B)

Complete 25 drug wars.

The Drug Wars missions are mini-missions that you take part in with Luis’s childhood friends Armando and Henrique. They will be unlocked early in the main story.

These missions boil down to three main types:

- Stash Stealing.

- Deal Breaking.

- Vehicle Hijacking.

http://tinyurl.com/3y62fqr

Stash Stealing: This generally involves going to a location to take a drug stash. It may or may not be guarded. And it may or may not be in a vehicle already. If it’s guarded, it is usually a bag that needs to be taken. If it’s a vehicle, you have to try and get that vehicle back to the drop off no matter what. You will often have to lose the cops first though.

Deal Breaking: These are fairly straight forward. They are supposed to be a double bonus, as you are going after the stash and the cash. The cash is not really important though. Once you get the bag, you can leave.

Vehicle Hijacks: You have to chase down a car or boat and kill the driver. Once the vehicle comes to a stop, hop in and head to the drop off.

Use the taxi’s to jump to a random Drug War mission quickly. They can each be completed in around ten minutes. After the first mission is completed, there will always be two or three Drug Wars missions scattered across the map.

Note: you do not have to wait for Armando and Henrique. Once you get the stash vehicle, head for the drop off. They will magically appear once you get there. This can be a huge time saver.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/33/62.jpg

TBoGT: Adrenaline-Junkie (B)

Freefall for the longest possible time.

For this one, you have to jump from the highest accessible point in the game. This basically means getting a chopper and flying it as high as it will go. You can get a chopper at the heliport if you need one, or you could spawn an Annihilator using the following mobile number: 359-555-0100.

If you need a chute, give Armando a ring and you can buy one off him. Alternatively, there will be chutes available at the Buzzard Helipad and in your apartment after you finish the main story and the gang wars.

The idea is to maximize the time you spend in freefall. I’d advise that you do this over a beach. The sand will be as low as land can be, and you will have something to gauge your height by. When trying this over water, it can be hard to tell what your height is.

http://tinyurl.com/32nwvlw

Make sure the chopper height is maxed out. Then eject and dive to your target landing zone. Pull the chute at the last possible second. It may take a couple of tries to get the timing right.

Alternatively, his trophy can also be earned during a few of the main story missions. The easiest is the mission This Ain't Checkers. If you delay your chute opening until the last second and land on Liberty Island, you should get it.

TBoGT: Maestro (B)

Finish the Ballad.

You will receive this trophy when you complete the last mission Departure Time for the first time. Completing the story for the first time will not take long. Most will finish all 26 missions in less than ten hours, especially if the secondary side missions are avoided.

TBoGT: Past the Velvet Rope (B)

Score 80% or above in all missions.

Once the story has been completed for the first time, an option to retry them will appear on your mobile. Each mission has certain targets to hit. As you tick them off, your score will improve.

For strategies for each mission, see Gold Star.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/33/65.jpg

TBoGT: Gold Star (B)

Score 100% in all missions.

Each mission in TBoGT is scored to certain criteria: player damage, accuracy, time, etc. You can improve the score by replaying the missions by selecting them off your phone. This option opens up after you complete the main story for the first time.

Thankfully, you do not have to complete each mission requirement in a single run through. They are accumulative over every run you do. This means you can do a mission as fast as possible and not worry about accuracy, or take your time and get those headshots you need. Once the target has been hit, it will be ticked off and you will be one step closer to 100% on that mission. You will probably unlock at least a couple of criteria for each mission when playing through them during the main story. You can then go back and clear up the rest later.

You can see your stats for each mission in the stat menu. Missions that have 0% completed will not show up in the stats though. In the end of mission summary, NR stands for New Record.

Important Note: a mission score will not count if:

- You use any cheat code during the mission.

- You take a taxi cab during the mission.

- You ''replay'' the mission after a failed attempt.

General Tips:

Make sure you start each mission with full Health and Armor. You can use the following cheat code BEFORE the mission to max these out if you want: 362-555-0100. Just make sure not to use it during the actual mission, or the results will not count.

After the story has been completed, you will have access to all the kick ass weaponry in the game: the .44 pistol, the explosive shotgun rounds, the gold Uzi. Make sure you are fully stocked up before starting each mission.

When going for the Headshot and Accuracy criteria on a mission, I advise you to stick with the .44 pistol. If you take your time ad always go for headshots, you will easily hit these targets.

When driving between locations, always try to take the fastest route. A little obvious maybe, but trust me when I say that the GPS can be way off. It will plot the route according to the smallest distance covered. This is not always the fastest route. If a route involves a lot of junctions and turns, it can take ages. You can often limit it to only a couple of turns by going further up the gridded streets. Try to break up your route into long straight sections.

Also, the GPS follows the street layout, and takes care not to lead up one way streets or across green areas. Watch out for spots where you can bypass the GPS’s logical approach.

---------------------------------------

There are 26 missions to clear. They can all be accessed via your mobile. Many will take more than one playthrough to clear. See the following posts for a few tips, strategies and walkthroughs to help you complete each mission.

I luv L.C.

Time: 04:30

Player Damage: 0%

Car Damage: 10%

Speed Run: This mission can easily be cleared in a single run. Follow the GPS to bring Tony to Hercules. Use the marker as a brake, as you can drive into them at full speed and stop dead. Do the same at Maisonette 9. Once inside, you have to amuse yourself for a few minutes. A dance is too long, so head to the bar for a free drink. Only one mind! If you get a second drink, Luis will be drunk, and your chances of a good time will go out the window.

http://tinyurl.com/35t4jrp

As soon as you finish the drink, turn and head for the door. Answer the phone when it rings, then hang up and go outside. After the cutscene, you have to drive Armando and Henrique home. The GPS plots a staggered route. This is very slow. Head north as is says, but DO NOT take the first right marked. The right you want to take is four more streets along. It will bring you straight to the flats, and is much quicker. Once they are dropped off, do a 180 degree turn and head back using the same route in reverse. Ignore the GPS. When you hit the marker, you should have loads of time to spare.

Practice Swing

Time: 04:00

Player Damage: 50%

Headshots: 11

Accuracy: 70%

100% Golf Accuracy: Perform the Action - 3/3 Shots.

Action Run: Start with a standard run. Get to the range as quickly as you can. Once there, your first job is to hit the guy strapped to the golf cart three times. Use the same basic method outlined for the Four Play trophy. Zoom in with :r2: and aim slightly behind the man. Then press :cross: and let it go to the top, and try to hit the target line on its way back down. Do it right and getting three shots out of three is actually pretty easy.

When the lads in the trucks arrive, head down stairs. Get your .44 out and start popping heads. Take out every single one of the enemies on this run. Use the cars for cover if needed, and try to keep as much health as possible.

Once cleared, get in the golf cart and follow the other one. Once you get to the parking spots, a cut-scene will start. Once you get control back, drive out to the street. Highjack the first car you see. Now just drive back to Tony’s flat.

Speed Run: Get to the range as quickly as you can. Once there, try to get the three shots done first time. You should have your eye in after the first run.

When the lads in the trucks arrive, get your RPG out. Take all three trucks out going from right to left. For the last truck, aim slightly under the truck. The enemies will have got out by this time, so try taking as many of them out as possible in one shot. Now you can head down the stairs.

Get straight into the golf cart and follow the other one. If there are any enemies around, leave them to it. Once you get to the parking spots, a cut-scene will start. Once you get control back, drive out to the street. Highjack the first car you see. Now just drive back to Tony’s flat as fast as you can.

Chinese Takeout

Time: 05:20

Player Damage: 10%

Accuracy: 70%

100% Headshots: Perform the Action

Action Run: Firstly make sure you have full health and armor. Try to drive to the location turning as few times as possible. Make use of the gridded road system. Once you get there, you will get a cut-scene, after which the action starts. Get your .44 out, and stay in cover. Your aim is to headshot EVERY SINGLE ENEMY. This is not as hard as it sounds. Just wait for them to pop out their heads and then take it off for them. Move from corner to corner, always staying in cover. Get outside and all you have to do is drive Tony home.

Tip: If you are running low on health at the end, look for the Soda Machine. It will restore you to full health quickly. Thanks to Mastodon for this tip.

Speed Run: Make sure you have full health and armor. Try to drive to the location turning as few times as possible. If you look at the map, the route has many turns n a stair pattern. Try to limit this to one or two turns. Make use of the gridded road system.

Once the shooting starts, get out your favourite gun: .44, gold Uzi or explosive shotty tend to work best. Now just try to keep moving. Clear the enemies as quickly as you can. Once you get to the car, wait for Tony. Now all you have to do is get back to his flat as fast as you can.

Momma's Boy

Time: 03:10

Player Damage: 10%

Crowd Helped: Perform the Action

Counter Finish: Perform the Action

Action Runs: This may take a few attempts to tick off each element. Firstly, the health requirement: In order to have any chance of finishing with less than 10% damage, you HAVE to win all three matches. Try to take them out without getting hurt at all. It’s not that difficult, and you can use the tactics given for the Bear Fight trophy if you are having problems. After the fights, you are confronted by Santos outside. As soon as you get control, run back a few yards, take out a gun, and shoot his ass. Done quickly enough, you should be in perfect health.

I recommend you try for the two actions in a separate run. For the Crowd Helped action, you have to try to get an opponent hear the cage, and hope the crowd grabs him. Keep punching/pushing him to a wall. Make sure there are people there to grab him. Keep his back to the wall, and punch away. They seem to generally grab him after the opponent becomes drowsy, but just keep at him. If they grab him for even a split second, you will meet the criteria.

For the Counter Finish, you have to first get an opponent down to no more than 4 bars of health. For safety, three bars would be better. From here, continue to lock on to them, but do not hit or kick them. Keep tapping :cross: until you dodge one of their blows. Immediately tap :circle: or :triangle: and you will perform a Counter Combo. Once it is enough to finish them off, you are good to go.

http://tinyurl.com/33sxq8c

Speed Run: You should get this without trying the first time you play. But just in case: Don’t go too far ahead of Santos when walking to the club. You need him to get in. Once the fight starts, take each man out as quickly as you can. Once you are not running aimlessly around the ring, you should have plenty of time. One back outside, kick Santos ass (shooting him is quickest) and you are done.

Corner Kids

Time: 07:50

Player Damage: 40%

Headshots: 20

Accuracy: 55%

Action Run: Start with a standard run. Stick to the .44 pistol and try to headshot everyone to keep your accuracy level high and make sure to get the 20 you need. Concentrate on one target at a time. Try to always shoot from cover to keep your damage low. Don’t worry about the time too much on this run.

Speed Run: Get going as quick as you can. Follow the highlighted route off the island. After crossing the bridge and going down the ramp, TURN RIGHT not left as indicated. Immediately turn right again. Across from you at the next junction you will see a terrace of steps. Go down it and drive off the edge. This should cut a huge chunk of time off your run. From here, play as normal. Don’t worry too much about your health or accuracy: go in hard. Kill only those you need to in order to get the mission to move along. The explosive shotty should help you clear the way at speed. As soon as you RPG the chopper, turn around and get into the Serrano jeep parked there. Follow the given route back to the flats as fast as you can, and you’re done.

Clocking Off

Time: 05:00

Player Damage: 40%

Headshots: 20

Accuracy: 55%

Action Run: Start with a standard run. Take your time as you are probably not going to hit the time target by accident anyway. Use your .44 to get make sure you get the Headshot and Accuracy targets. Also, make sure you have full health and armor starting, so it will be easier to get the Player Damage target.

http://tinyurl.com/2uf6d3b

Speed Run: This one is tight for time, so get going right away. Follow the highlighted route to the pier. Once you get out of the car, follow Henrique down to the pier itself. As soon as he talks to you down there, run back up the steps and turn around to face the first wave of enemies. Use grenades/sticky bombs/RPG to blow up the whole area around that corner to clear them out quickly. Now get your gold Uzi out and turn around to meet the second wave. Keep moving forward clearing the enemies as you go. You should be making a loop around the area over the Pier. The idea is to end up killing the last man as close to the car as possible. Once they are all dead, it is just a matter of driving to the lockup. Don’t crash. Assuming you have cleared the group of enemies quickly enough, you should make it in time.

Sexy Time

Time: 06:00

Player Damage: 0%

Boats Destroyed: 4

Action Run: Start with a standard run. Take your time as you are probably not going to hit the time target by accident anyway. Get a car and follow the marked route to the docks. Jump into the nearest speed boat, and head out past Liberty Island towards the yacht. Try to stay away from the patrolling motorboat, as your aim is to get the chopper in the air without being noticed.

You should be able to pull up behind the yacht without too much trouble, head up the helipad and take off. Head immediately back towards Liberty Island. Just before you pass over the island, you will get a phone call. When Luis answers, hang up straight away. Your weapons are now active. Turn and head back to the yacht. The small patrol boat should still be nearby. Take it out first. (You need this for the Destroy 4 Boats criteria, as the yacht itself does not count). Once that’s taken out, have a go at the yacht.

I’d recommend strafing the yacht from back to front, then turning around and hitting it the opposite way. The Buzzards weapons are easier to aim when moving. You should be firing both weapons at once, but it is more important to keep your guns firing than your missiles. The yacht seems to have three main areas that you need to hit: the bow (the front), the stern (the back) and the superstructure (the main central area). If any of these is left undamaged, the ship won’t sink.

After it goes down in a short cinematic, you will have to chase down three speed boats. The easiest way to take them out is by using the machineguns. If you keep a constant stream of bullets going, you will be able to see where they are hitting in the water. Fly straight towards your target from behind, and bob the chopper up and down to try to target the boat exactly. It only takes a short burst of fire to take out each boat.

Move through the pack from back to front. Fly low and close to maximize the damage you deal out. (You can try to hit them with missiles, but be warned, it is more a feat of luck than skill. Also, be aware that the machine gun's range is fairly short, so get in close).

After you take out all three boats (plus the patrol boat making four), you can turn around and head to the landing pad. Job done.

http://tinyurl.com/393jkyp

Speed Run: This one is really tight for time. If at all possible, get a reasonable fast car, and try to get to the dock as quickly as possible. Practice how you get down to the boat and get in. If you get it right, you should be able to jump the railing and get going in the boat fairly quickly.

Once in the boat head out around Liberty Island. Skirt the coast to limit the distance travelled. Try to go directly to the rear of the yacht. Make sure to stop in time to make sure you have an easy jump on board. (If you hit the right rear corner of the yacht just right, you can stop the boat right on the mark).

If you were lucky the alarm will still not have gone off, but either way head directly for the chopper. As soon as you are airborne, head for Liberty Island. As soon as the phone call comes, turn around and head back. Hang up to get the use of your weapons quicker. Open up on the yacht; don’t mind the patrol boat this time. You should be able to take it out fairly quickly using the method written in the action run section.

Now for the hard bit, the three speed boats. The method is no different from the action run, you just have to do it quicker. Try to gun them down from low range from behind. With a little practice and a little luck, you should be able to take them out relatively quickly. As a frame of reference, if they make it past the oil refinery on the right, you have probably taken too long.

Lastly, turn and head DIRECTLY for the helipad. Try to climb gradually over the distance, so that you are just about the right height by the time you get there. You should have to fly between a few buildings on the way. If you do not, you are too high. Make sure to land directly on the marker. It can easily happen that you land on the pad, but miss the marker in the centre. This wastes valuable seconds.

Get everything right, and you should be good to go. This is one of those missions you will get better at the more you play it. So if you are getting it hard, give it a little time and patience.

ADDED TIP: If replaying the missions from the mobile, choosing Sexy Time spawns you outside Yusuf's pad with no car. It's a long drive. A good tip is to ring Henrique IMMEDIATELY once the mission loads, and ask him to bring you a Bullet GT. The second the call connects to him, hang up, as you only need the call to pick up to have him bring one. Within about 5-10 seconds, he drops the car at your feet. Don't go running to him, he drives fast towards you so just wait. Then just stamp the pedal to the floor to the marina. Tip by: smartbomb

Quickdraw the RPG: Perform the Action

Action Run: Start with a standard run. Use the .44 so you can go for the accuracy, headshot and player damage criteria right off the bat. Make sure you start with full health and armor.

Once you get to the meet, all hell kicks loose. You will start in cover, STAY IN COVER. Using the .44, work your way from RIGHT to LEFT through the enemies. Head shot as many as you can. DO NOT SHOOT the guy nearest to you on the far left. As soon as you do, the RPG guy will appear and you need to be ready.

Use a sniper rifle to take out the gunner in the lower window. Now the guy far left should be the only one near you. Leave cover and move in his direction. Using the .44, lock on and go for another head shot. Stay in lock on and STRAIGHT AWAY, flick to the next target on the right. This will be the RPG guy in the window. Pop a couple of bullets into him and that should be that criteria earned.

Now just make your way through the rest of the guys, headshots all the way. Watch out for the two guys who appear as you pass the building entrance, one from the left and another from the right. Take care of them all and head to the docks.

Now you just have to take out the boats and keep your own boat from being damaged too badly. When throwing the explosives, you will want to be to the right and slightly behind the target boat, with room enough for another boat to squeeze between them. Once you tag a boat, peel off to the right before setting it off. The explosions are where most of the damage to your boat will come from. Finish off the other two in the same way, and all you have to do is head back to the dock. It might be obvious, but try not to crash the boat during this section, as you need it in as good a condition as possible.

http://tinyurl.com/2uyb3wy

Speed Run: This one is not too bad for time. You may even get it on your first run. If you are having trouble, here are a few tips.

First up, there is a short cut that will get you onto the bridge faster. When you set off, do not take the first turn marked by the GPS. Follow the road around. You will see a red brick wall with a few broken sections in it on your left. Follow it to the end and turn left. You will cross a railway line and go up a cement bank. Follow the road above around to the left and go straight across the junction and up the grassy bank. At the top, turn left and then continue along the GPS route as normal.

On the bridge you have a choice: break the barrier or pay the toll. If you can break it at speed, you may be able to lose the wanted level before you get to the pier. But my advice is to pay it. It is faster more often than not. One the shooting starts at the meeting point, try to get through it as quickly as possible. The Uzi or explosive shells in the shotgun are your best bet.

Once in the boat, try to take out the others as fast as you can. Go for the far left one first. Blow them up as soon as you tag them. From there, take the most direct route you can to the finish. Do all the above, and you should have plenty of time to spare.

No Bombs Wasted: Perform the Action (3x crane, 1x train, 1x plane)

Action Run: Start with a standard run. Don’t worry about time. Just use this as a dry run for the speed run after. Before you start, mark the Buzzard on the map. (You unlock the use of Yosef’s gold Buzzard after you clear the game). When you start, get into the Buffalo. Head straight for the helipad. Once you get airborne, head to the crane. Land in the street just north of it. Get out and throw three sticky bombs onto the crane base. Head back to the chopper and blow up the crane.

From here stay low in the chopper. Follow the street as it will take you directly to the next spot. You have to hover down near street level to activate the next mission section without leaving the chopper. Once the train appears, a quick burst of missiles will take care of it.

Now make a B-line to the airport. Once again you will have to hover just above ground level at the next marker. When it activates, head to the plane and blow it up. To lose the cops quickly, head out to sea. The stars will soon drop to 2. Get away from that circle, and the mission will end. Since you have only used three bombs, and should have been protected inside the chopper for most of the mission, those two criteria should be completed.

http://tinyurl.com/34l2sly

Speed Run: Basically do everything from the Action Run, but do it fast. Get to the Buzzard, fly low, and take out each target quickly. Once you lose the cops at the end, you should have at least 15 seconds to spare.

Blog This!...

Time: 02:30

Car Damage: 0%

Damage Run: This is a simple mission, but I advise you to do each criteria in a separate mission. For the car damage run, just follow the given route. But drive like your grandmother is in the car with you. Take your time and you should easily get there without a scratch. Take note of what you have to do on the computer, as you will have to do it at speed for the second run.

Speed Run: Time is tight here. For a start, forget about the GPS given route. It’s crap, and will make it very hard to get everything done in time. Follow these instructions instead.

Starting off, go forward. Do not turn around. Take the first right turn you meet, and immediately after take a right and a right again into the tunnel. I found through trial and error that driving with the traffic is faster than going against it. When going around the two corners in the tunnel, use the tunnel wall in the outside of the curve to skid around. Don’t go too hard though, as you may flip the car. When you reach the other end, there will be traffic in the entrance. Go along the right side of it, and try to slide along the wall. The key here is to keep moving. You can slow down a bit, but try not to crash and stop. If you do, you will probably not make it.

Many people recommend you take the grass on the left as a short cut when you exit the tunnel. DON’T. In fact, you should not be taking the marked route at all. Drive straight by that junction, and do the same at the next left. You want to take the third left. This is the same road Stacy’s house is on. One turn is much faster than five! You can even take it at speed as the road is wide,

Stay on the right side of the road. Traffic can get heavy along here, so pick your way through as quick as you can. When you reach the marker, drive straight into it at speed. You will stop dead. For extra time, try to slide the car at the last minute so that the nose points into the middle of the road. Keep the accelerator down, as you will pull off as soon as they get out. Head back up the road on the wrong side, and take the indicated turn. Cut the last turn by going over the path at the corner. Immediately after that, you should spin the car 180 degrees so that you get out nearer to the door.

From here it is just a matter of clicking through the computer. You should have memorized this section, so you know exactly where to go. Finish up and run back outside. Do it all right and you should have a solid enough time. My average was 2:25, leaving only 5 seconds to spare. It’s tight, but far from impossible.

Free Fall Time: Perform the Action

Action Run: This is a simple mission enough. For your first run, try to hit the accuracy target. This is the one criterion you have to look out for. Start the mission only if you have full health, armor and weapons. I recommend you use the .44 and RPG rather than the shotgun for accuracy purposes. You know the drill, go for head shots. When a chopper pops up, switch to the RPG and take it out. You have to take each one out or it will decimate you. Since four Annihilators appear during the mission, you will easily hit the criteria.

A few of the police will drop body armor, so don’t worry about your health. Make your way up the ladders. When you reach the platform and the fourth chopper appears, only shoot it when you are standing in the nook at the bottom of the next ladder. If you shoot it out in the open, the explosion will blow you off the building.

When you reach the top, there will be a cut-scene. After that, it is just a matter of parachuting down to the ground for the mission to finish.

http://tinyurl.com/35edcbm

Speed Run: The given time is not too bad for this one. Follow the given route to the hotel, driving straight into the marker to stop. Once the shooting starts, you should clear everything with the explosive shotty. Keep moving forward as quickly as you can. When climbing the ladders, be sure to hold :cross: to get up them as fast as you can. When you reach the top, there will be a cut-scene. After that, jump off the building. Delay the opening of your chute until you are close to the ground to save time. Once you land, the mission will end.

Sharpshooter: Perform the Action

Action Run: Drive to Star Junction. Once you get the chopper, head directly for the marker. You will see the Skylift in the air ahead of you. Fly straight at it to set off the next scene. You now have to shoot the yellow bolts. I’m not sure exactly how many shoots you have, but it is at least six. It is easier to take them out if you hit the rear two first, and then go for those on the front. Do it the other way around and the bolts become partly obscured. Take your time and you shouldn’t have a problem here.

When you are parachuting down, try to land as close as you can. Now follow the highway to the bridge. There is a reverse wanted level in effect for this mission. The more cars and vans you take out, the lower the level will go. You need to get it down to one star, so you can escape. Make your way across the bridge, and take out any cops you meet.

One thing though: do not ram them. You need to keep the APC in good condition. Shoot them from ten or twenty meters away. Also, beware of Kamikaze drivers, as the cops tend to want to drive right at you. If you meet one head one, he will more often than not explode and damage you.

Once over the bridge, turn left and keep moving forward. By the time you reach the building site, you should have either one star or lost the cops altogether. From there, just head to the finish.

http://tinyurl.com/3xyq6tf

Speed Run: You will probably already have broken the time on the run above, but if not here are a few tips. First off, take the first right when driving to Star Junction. There tends to be less traffic. Use the marker to stop the car dead. After the cut-scene, drive over to the chopper as it is faster than walking.

In the chopper, fly directly to the marker. When you see the Skylift, fly straight at it. You will not be able to hit it, so don’t worry. Take your time on the bolts. Then for the parachute jump, open it as late as you can, and land as close to the APC as you can.

From here, head to the bridge. Take out all the cops you see. Don’t worry as much about your APC health. You just need enough to get you to the end. Take out enough cars, and you should be able to lose the cops before you reach the drop off.

Perfect Landing: Perform the Action (land in a boat)

Always First: Perform the Action

Speed Run: This is a race, so every run is essentially a speed run. Starting off, get in quick and follow the given route. Try to weave through the traffic on the bridge at speed. Don’t worry about damaging the car, just keep moving. When you reach Algonquin, the GPS will tell you to turn right, and double around under the bridge. Don’t. Instead, turn left. Drive the whole way down to the highway at the bottom of the island. As soon as you are out in the open, turn left and head directly for the heliport.

The next time you get control, you will be skydiving. Push forward on the stick and dive towards the Statue of Happiness. When you are just above it, open the chute. Your aim now is to land in one of the boats. Do it without falling in the water and you will fulfill the Perfect Landing criteria. And because you dived down at speed, you should have a healthy lead on your opponents. Keep this till the end and you will get the Always First achievement.

http://tinyurl.com/3883h9x

Follow the checkpoints, full throttle all the way. When you get to the beach, hit it at full speed, so you slide up towards the cars. Pick your favourite. I prefer the Comet as I think it handles best. It also helps that it is parked out front. From here it is only a matter of following the checkpoints. You have nitrous in the car, but really the only place you can use it is on the stretch from the bridge to the north side of Middle Park. Anywhere else, and you may crash.

With a bit of luck, and an attempt or two, and you should be able to make it in time.

Followed Close: Perform the Action

Action Run: For this run, you are trying for the Top Speed and Car Damage criteria. The Followed Close and time criteria are linked, and go together in the speed run. You can try for them now alright, but don’t worry about them yet.

First of get to the cars. It does not matter if you bang up the Buffalo. Follow the given route. Once you have dropped the cars, the real fun begins. For this run, just try to keep it away from the walls. The route weaves a good bit once you head into the dock sides. At one point the route widens out. Mori will comment on how good the road is. This is your opportunity to open it up. You should be able to top 140mph.

Take your time over the ramps and you should be sorted.

Speed Run: It’s the same method as above up until you get the cars. Obviously though, you should be driving flat out to get there. Once you get the sports car, pull up behind the others. Your aim is to keep full acceleration as long as possible from here on out, with minimal breaking. A good way to measure it is that you should be almost hitting the car in front when breaking. You can actually outbreak the other two cars, so go into the corners deep.

Once into the dock section, you just have to keep the speed up. Crash once though, and you will not get the Followed Close criteria. No breaking along here, just feather the throttle if you feel you are going too fast. Try to keep sliding to a minimum as it can get out of hand.

Go harder than usual over the ramps. Aim to land in the centre of the next barge. The key here is to keep the car straight over the ramps.

Be aggressive enough, and you should be able to pick this one off. Give it a bit of time though.

Frosting On The Cake

Time: 05:45

Player Damage: 50%

Bomb Accuracy: Perform the Action

Escape Cops Time: 0:35

Action Run: Player Damage is easy enough as you will be in the Limo for the whole mission, so you should be OK. As for Bomb Accuracy, the key is to make sure when you set them off something important blows up. Any enemy or enemy vehicle is good. Be economical with where you peg them and that one is also easy enough. Getting away from the cops is also easy, but requires some luck. As soon as you get control of the Limo back, drive as fast as you can straight down the street. Once there are no cop cars in that general direction, you will lose the wanted level fairly easily. From there head over to the club and drop off the boys.

http://tinyurl.com/32uwdu2

Speed Run: You have little control of the Limos speed for most of this mission, so you have to try to make up for that at the start and end. Setting off, take the first left turn. The GPS will then tell you to take the following left. Don’t. Just past it there is a paved area in front of the building. Turn left into it. At the next street, take a right and then the next left. You should now have a straight run at the bridge. Put your foot down and from here follow the GPS all the way to the meeting point. Literally every second counts, so be as fast as you can, and try not to crash.

After the cut-scene, you are left on bomb duty. Your aim now is to clear the way as quickly as possible. You do not want the Limo held up a second longer than is necessary. Be liberal with your bombs, as you will get extra bombs if you run out. When you reach the police blockade, lob two bombs at the car directly in front of the Limo. Blow this up and you are good to go. Now you just have to take out the APC, the chopper and a couple of bikers.

When you get control back, floor it and head straight along the street after coming off the bridge. This is where you need some luck. You need to loose the cops before the turn-off for the club. It works out right maybe one time in four. So if you do not get it the first time, give it a few more goes. It will come right sooner or later.

Groove On: Perform the Action

Good Guy: Perform the Action

Action Run: Drive to the club. Don’t take the first right as indicated. Take the second right, as it is more direct. Your first task is to dance with the girl. Max out the ring and you will ‘get off’ with her. Do it well enough and you will get the Groove On criteria.

From now until the end, you have to avoid hitting a civilian. Take your time, and place your shots. Stick to a single shot weapon. I recommend the .44 as usual. Work your way through the club. Try to get the Damage criteria. Remember there is a health pack back in the office. Don’t worry if you don’t get it though, as it will be easier on the speed run.

Speed Run: As above, drive directly to the club. Don’t take the first right as indicated. Take the second right, as it is more direct. Remember to hold :cross: so that Louis walks slightly faster. Get through the dance as fast as you can.

One the shooting kicks off, pop the owner. Now get out your gold Uzi. You no longer have to worry about the civilians. There is a time record to beat! Mow through the guards as quickly as you can. Once you get outside, run directly away form the club. Once you cover a city block, the mission will end.

As soon as the cut-scene is over, dump him out of the chopper. As soon as you get control of your dive, push the left stick forward. You will catch him, so don’t worry. Leave the opening of the chute as late as possible. Once you land on dry ground, you should be good to go.

You’ll want to stay in this area for the rest of the mission. Three choppers will approach you. They will be marked on the map. Do all that quickly enough, and keep your chopper fairly healthy, and you should get the 100% easily enough.

Speed Run: This is another one that you can do everything on in one run. When you start, jump in the car and get to the helipad as quickly as you can. Get in the air and make directly for the marker. Stay low. For the whole of this mission in fact fly no higher than say a five/seven storey building.

After the cut-scene, the Comet heads off. Stay within a couple of hundred yards of it at all times. Do not fly up high. Fly around things rather than over them. Try to follow the streets as best you can. When he enters the tunnel, make straight for the other side. A lot of time can be made here. When he comes out, follow on the same as before. Wait for him outside the parking garage. When he arrives at the house, make sure to back off a bit. If you spook him, the whole mission is a wipe. All that is left is to take the chopper back.

Once you have kept it in good condition, you will get the 100% on the landing pad.

Vehicles Destroyed: 5

Bomb Hidden: Perform the Action

Sticky Bomb Carnage: Perform the Action

Action Run: This is a tough mission, so be prepared to play it a good few times. Start off with the easy stuff. To get Bomb Hidden, drive to the garage. Once you are parked, get out and go around to the front of the vehicle. Stick a bomb to the front grill and get into cover. Set it off when you are told. From here I would recommend throwing a few more sticky bombs into the mix. Try to clear out most of the NOOSE agents. This should get you the Sticky Bomb Carnage achievement.

With every run, you should make sure you do not damage the last car to arrive. It will be a Buffalo and you will need it to get back to the house quickly. It will have four plain clothes agents in it when it arrives.

Once all the NOOSE agents have been taken out, get into the car. As soon as you reach the top of the ramp, three more NOOSE vehicles will appear. Put on your siren, and head straight for the marker. You should be able to lose them along the way. Get it right, and you should have easily met the Player Damage criteria. You will also easily have the Five Vehicles Destroyed. You may even be close to the time.

For the next few runs, you are going for the Headshot and Accuracy targets. These are the hardest to get, as the NOOSE agents are hard to pin down. They will come for you, and if they catch you in the open, you’re a dead man. Pick your favourite weapon, and do you best. After a few attempts, you should be able to crack it.

http://tinyurl.com/26h58y9

Speed Run: This is a tight one. Starting off, do a u-turn. A hundred yards behind you there is a gate into the park. Go through and drive around the pond and out the opposite side. This road will bring you straight onto the bridge.

I recommend you pay the toll. You can’t afford to have to lose the cops. Straight after the toll booth, head onto the opposite side of the highway. Go up the second ramp and follow it into the city. Do not turn right until you are past the two flying ramps coming from the bridge. Make sure to take the first ramp into the car-park.

After you plant the explosive, plant two more on the ground where the van and car will pull up. This will create a triangle of death. As soon as the NOOSE step out of their vehicles, blow the charges. From here use the RPG to clear up. Pop the other vehicles as the arrive, but make sure they clear the entrance first. Also, make sure you do not blow the last Buffalo. You need it to get back. Take out the agents with an Uzi. When they are all dead, get into the Buffalo and turn the siren on. Go up the ramp and turn right, away from the van. From here retrace your steps back to the house. You can mow straight through the toll booths as cop vehicles do not have to pay. Cut back across the park. You should have time left over.

Landing Distance: Perform the Action

Ashvilli Plummet: Perform the Action

Truck Landing: Perform the Action

Action Run: For the first run, just concentrate on keeping your health up and your accuracy high. Drive as normal to the helipad and fly up through the ring markers. For Landing Distance, all you have to do is hit the target.

Work your way through the building. Try to stay in cover, and try to get headshots where possible. Once you get to the office and have only Ashvilli left to take out, make sure the window is behind him and shoot him. He should fall out the window. That’s Ashvilli Plummet sorted.

Now you have just one more task to perform. Jump out the window. In the street below and to the left, a truck will be driving slowly away from you. You have to try to land on it, similar to the vehicle base jumps you would have completed for the Gone Down trophy. Land on the truck, and after a cutscene, the mission will end. It may take a few tries to tick off a few of these criteria, but keep at it and you will get them sooner or later.

http://tinyurl.com/34pt289

Speed Run: There is actually plenty of time for this one once you don’t faff around too much. Follow the GPS route to the Algonquin Bridge. Try to cut corners where you can. After you cross the bridge, you will take two lefts and then a right.

Halfway along this road, the GPS will tell you to turn left. Don’t. Continue down to the dual carriageway at the end of that street. When you clear the buildings, turn left and cut across to the heliport.

There is no real way to speed up the chopper assent. All you can do is make a steady climb through the markers. After passing through the final marker, you will be prompted to jump. Count to three first, then bail out. Immediately go into a nose dive. If you aim correctly and time it right, you can dive onto the roof pulling the chute at the last minute. Remember, you do not have to hit the marker, you just have to make sure to land on the roof.

From here, it is just a matter of getting through Ashvilli’s small army as quickly as you can. A machine gun tends to work best. Once they are cleared, shoot Ashvilli as soon as you can. This will activate the cutscene.

Now all that’s left is to jump out the window and get down to the truck. Nose dive down to street level, and pull the chute as late as you can. The quickest way to finish is to land on the truck, but realistically anywhere near will do.

4 shots, 4 snipers: Perform the Action

Action Run: For the first run, try for the 4 Shots, Four Snipers and the Headshot total. You have to make sure you have the Advanced Sniper rifle before you start, as for some strange reason the 4 Shots will not unlock without it.

Drive to the building and you will face the snipers. There is one on each side. Take your time when aiming. They have a habit of ducking at the real wrong moment. Aim centre mass to maximize your chances of hitting each one. You have to hit them all without missing once.

After that, try for the head shots. Wait for the chopper to clear the roof opposite, and take it out with an RPG. If you stay on the roof you find yourself on after the cutscene, there will be a continuous stream of enemies coming out on the opposite rooftop. Once you think you have enough, jump across the roofs, get down to ground level, and leave the area.

Speed Run: Get going as quickly as you can, follow the given route. Once you get there, take out the four snipers. After when the chopper comes, ignore the enemies altogether. Get up onto the structure behind you, the entrance block. Stand at the south west corner, facing east.

The idea is to run off the roof and land on the fire escape below. Do not jump, just run. You want to go just far enough to get over the wall. It may take a few attempts to get right, but it is do-able. From here, al you have to do is climb down and escape.

Because you only had to take out the four snipers, your accuracy should be pretty high. So you should easily beat the time and get the accuracy target as well.

During the train ride, there will be two choppers hovering over the track waiting for you. The first is a normal LCPD chopper. Feel free to fire on it. The second is a gunship, an Annihilator. It will fire directly at you. Do not fire back. Before you get to it, hit :l3: and lay flat. There will be a slow motion shot of you passing under it. Do this and you can tick off Duck Chopper.

Apart from that, you just have to mind your health. Make sure you start with full health and armor. Also, if you lie flat while going through stations, the police in those stations will get it hard to target you.

Speed Run: Get going as quickly as you can, follow the given route. Make sure to take the left just before you reach the bridge though. It is a one way street, but is still the quickest way to the bridge. Try to drive flat out across the bridge. Use the marker to stop you dead. Jump to the train as soon as it appears.

You should try to make your way to the front of the train as quickly as you can. Hold :cross: to walk slightly faster. Take out the choppers as quickly as you can. When you get to the ‘Duck Chopper’ point of the mission, shoot the chopper to get it to move. There is no time for a slow motion action shot.

Lastly, cancel the cutscene of the chopper pick up at the end. It cuts off a chunk of time that you could do without. You should find yourself in a baseball diamond, and get your 100% for this mission.

Ladies Half Price

Time: 03:55

Hanger On Time: 0:07

Speed Run: This is an easy one, as there are only two criteria. When driving to the pier, skip the first left. Take the second left, and then follow the GPS from there. Also, drive right down the ramp to the pier itself.

Make sure to use the left stick to trim the boat as it rides up and down. Do your best to keep it level. Drive into the marker at speed to activate the cutscene.

When you get control back, you will have to dump the hanger on. To do it quickly, put the boat in reverse. He should drop right off. Now head back to the pier as fast as you can. The reversing might hurt your time, so it you have to do it a second time, don’t bother. He should fall off before you get to the pier.

Party's Over

Time: 04:30

Player Damage: 90%

Headshots: 25

Accuracy: 70%

Enemy Cars Destroyed: 4

Action Run: For this run, you are just trying for the Headshot and Accuracy criteria. Get to the club any way you like. Make sure you have full health, armor and weapons. Once you get there, a cutscene will start. After this you have about five seconds to get ready. You will be in cover behind the railing. Stand up and move to the left. You want to be standing just left of the couch.

Standing is better as your machine gun will zoom in closer than if you were in cover. Your aim for this first section is to headshot every man who enters the room. They all come in the same door, one after the other. Try to let off just one round at a time. You cannot afford to be spraying lead all over the place, as the accuracy stats for this one are hard to get. There are plenty of enemies though, so you should have plenty of opportunity to get the Headshot count up.

After a phone call from Dessie, you have to head outside. Before you do, go into the management office to get the armor and the health pack inside. Once outside, get into cover behind the car in front of you. Get out your pistol, and try to headshot every one of the enemies.

Do all that well enough and you should check off every criteria except the bombed cars. You may even be under the time allowance. If not, see the next section.

Speed Run: Get going as quickly as you can, run up the steps and turn around 180 degrees. You need to get to the street on the south side of the park. Highjack the nearest/fastest car there, and follow the GPS to the club. A hand-break turn outside the door helps to shorten the distance to the door.

Once the shootout section starts, use the same tactics as shown above. Headshots are still the quickest way to go, but this time around do not worry about pumping out the rounds. Remember to pick up the armor and health, and then head outside with your RPG in hand. Take out the cars as they arrive. You should get the four needed. Finish off any stragglers and you should be good to go.

Departure Time

Time: 10:00

Player Damage: 50%

Headshots: 25

Accuracy: 70%

Action Run: As usual, spend your first run hunting for headshots, and keeping your accuracy high. I found that switching between the pistol, rifle and sniper rifle, I could headshot nearly every enemy.

You should have started with full health, armor and weapons as usual. If you take a lot of hits though, you will find a health pack near the back of the first area you clear of enemies. On the way back out, there is also body armor resting against a cabin to your left. If you mind your aim and stay in cover, hitting the targets marked out is not too hard.

Do not shoot at the cars that attack you while on the bike. Let Yusef take them out. And when in the plane, it should be headshots all the way.

Speed Run: This one is a bit of a marathon. Get going as quickly as you can. Follow the GPS route. Once you get into the park, just try to clear your way through as fast as you can. Remember that there is a health pack and armor there if you need it.

When you get to the last two furry penguin stashes, make sure you have your Uzi out before you shoot them. Be ready to run straight after the cutscene. If you are quick, you can kill the target around the first corner. After you get him, head straight to the bike. Again, follow the GPS. Yusef will do his thing in the Buzzard. When you hit the airport front area, you can cut across the car-park. Just be careful not to break through the toll barrier, as the last thing you need is the cops.

When chasing down the plane, keep in mind that you will not be able to get it on the first runway. Cut the corner as it makes the turn onto the second runway. After you take care of business on the plane, it is just a matter of getting to Tony in the park as quickly as you possibly can. You do not want to glide the whole way there. Instead, make for the gated community to the right of the amusement park. It will be directly between you and the marker on the map. Push the left stick fully forward. You want to land as soon as you can. Alternating the left and right brake seemed to drop it faster as well, but I can’t guarantee that it is actually faster. I just think it is.

Once on the ground, try to find a decent set of wheels. There should be something relatively quick lying around. Follow the GPS to the park. Where the route ends, pull up and jump the wall. Once you run to the marker, you will be finished. If all went to plan, you should have cracked the time. Be warned though, EVERYTHING has to go right. Only a clean run has a chance of breaking the ten minute barrier. But keep at it if you don’t get it the first few times.
