A second controller will be required Introduction Welcome to Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Prolouge the long awaited game in its franchise due to release sometime in 2012 but the public has not been given an exact date just yet. Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Prolouge is bundled in Tekken Hybrid which contains the Blood Vengence CG Movie, Tekken Tag Tournament HD and Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Prolouge. The Prolouge only features 4 characters who were actually the main focus of the same movie its bundled in. Those characters are: Alisa Bosconovitch Devil Jin Kazama Devil Kazuya Mishima Ling Xiaoyu Trophy-wise the game is a really easy 100%, it does require a second controller if you wish to get the full completion and having a second controller will also make a lot of the trophies much easier than they need to be. The only thing about getting 100% that may be a bother is the amount of times you will have to complete Arcade Mode to view all the ending pictures. Changing Your Settings Upon starting the game up scroll to your "Options" and change the difficulty to Easy. This will make the multiple runthroughs of Arcade mode a bit bearable with less rounds that you'll have to play. Arcade Mode Runthroughs During this step you will be running through Arcade Mode roughly 15+ times to view all the ending pictures when you clear it. During this time it may be wise to go for multiple other trophies while you do it. This step shouldn't take more than 2-3 hours but even so it gets quite tedious at 4 stages per runthrough. The following trophies you will be aiming to get during these runthroughs are: See you in the movie. I'll smash you to pieces! Stay down! (Best friends forever!) Please accept my feelings. Meet your maker! That was a nice combo. Just like in the movies!Second Controller / 2 Player Matches During this step you require a second controller as you must play 10 matches with a human opponent. During this step it would also be recommended that you go for trophies that would have been much harder against CPU opponents of any level. Here are the following trophies you should unlock to finish up the game: I'm unbeatable! Are you even trying? That was quite a fall. I always like a good fight. Conclusion Overall the game is an easy 100%, To Tekken fans I'm sure modes such as versus or practice mode would have been nice if they were going to play a demo of one of their most anticipated games and maybe a couple more characters from the Blood Vengence movie. Setsuna
http://i.imgur.com/s2Aehy6.png http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1272/01.jpgSee you in the movie. View all ending images. To view all the ending images you must complete Arcade mode around 20 times. The first set of ending images showcase scenes from the movie and then it will show character portraits similar to that of the ones from your trophy tiles. This trophy should unlock once you view the character portrait to Devil Jin. A fast way of progressing through all the arcade run throughs would be to spam Devil Jin or Kazuya's beam attacks with +. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1272/02.jpgI'm unbeatable! Win 1 round without taking any damage. Unless you are an experienced Tekken player this may be a bit difficult against a CPU opponent, if you don't have a second controller you can try spamming beam attacks with Devil Jin and Kazuya to zone out your CPU opponent on very easy. If you do have a second controller you can just beat up the lifeless Player 2 for the same result. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1272/03.jpgI'll smash you to pieces! Land 5 Tag Assaults. A Tag Assault is performed by pressing after a bound attack, a bright circle will flash as your tag partner comes in for a brief moment to extend your combo. An easy way of doing this would be to go into your options and mapping one of your buttons to LP+RP+TAG (++) in the Controller Setup menu, using it will cause an automatic Tag Assault for you, perform it 5 times for your trophy. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J27C39fVjss]I'll smash you to pieces![/ame] http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1272/04.jpgStay down! Land 10 Tag Combos. A Tag Combo is performed by pressing after performing a launcher move, how this works is that your character will launch the opponent in the air and then quickly tag out for your partner to continue the combo. There are multiple ways of perform a launcher move, one example is to use Kazuya and his > > , from here your Tag partner should switch in and he should be able to extend the combo, repeat this 9 more times for your trophy. Alternative Launcher Methods: Xiayou: > Devil Jin: > Special Thanks to BeardedBushMan for these alternative methods http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1272/05.jpgAre you even trying? Escape 5 Tag Throws. A Tag Throw can be escaped by inputting the same inputs to use the Tag Throw which is + while you are about to be thrown. If done correctly the animation should look your opponent is about to throw you however your tag partner will jump in stop the throw. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ksvKS3mgOs]Are you even trying[/ame] http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1272/06.jpg(Best friends forever!) Clear Arcade mode using Xiaoyu and Alisa together. For this trophy you must simply complete Arcade mode with Xiaoyu and Alisa. During this run through completing both of their character specific trophies: That was quite a fall. Please accept my feelings. If you are looking to jump complete it a good move to spam with Alisa for good moderate damage would be > , Alisa will jump on the opponent and then then go in for a jetpack tackle. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1272/07.jpgThat was quite a fall. Use Xiaoyu and land 5 Storming Flower counter-hits. To perform the Storming Flower you must briefly hit and at the same time, the issue with this trophy is that it must be done as a counter hit which is basically using it to interrupt the opponent while they are already trying to attack. This may be a hard trophy to unlock against CPU opponents, if you lack a second controller just keep spamming it until you get counter hits otherwise just boost with a lifeless 2nd player opponent. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUxdIIF8QrI]That Was Quite The Fall Trophy[/ame] http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1272/08.jpgPlease accept my feelings. Use Alisa and land 5 Spam Bomb attacks. To perform Alisa's Spam Bomb attack you must briefly hit + , Alisa will take off her head and hand to the opponent causing in explosion within their hands. Repeat this 4 more times for the trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1272/09.jpgMeet your maker! Use Devil Jin or Kazuya and land 5 beam attacks. To perform a beam attack with Devil Jin or Kazuya you must hit with either of them. Devil Jin's beam attack is Hellfire Blast and Kazuya's is Acute Pain. This should be a very easy trophy to obtain against the CPU opponent. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1272/10.jpgI always like a good fight. Fight 10 times against human opponents. For this trophy you require a second controller of some sort, during character select or in the middle of a arcade mode battle hit on the second controller. Play out the matches and after the 10th match the trophy will unlock. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1272/11.jpgThat was a nice combo. Land 10 Tag Throws. A Tag Throw is performed by hitting and when close to your opponent. Your current character will grab your opponent and then your tag partner will attack them bringing them into the battle as the main player. Perform this 10 times for the trophy. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lua0NNZObw]That Was a Nice Combo[/ame] http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1272/12.jpgJust like in the movies! Perform a Balcony Break. A Balcony Break can only be done at the ledge of certain stages, in this demo the Canyon and Church are good stages with a ledge you can perform the Balcony Break. A good way to hit an opponent after the balcony is with a dash it or , the impact of the it will blow them back almost guaranteeing the Balcony Break for the trophy. Startyde
Awesome guide Setsuna!! One question though, can you give any more tips on Stay Down! ? I have tried Kazuyas launcher dozens of times and it pulls off sporatically at best.

I have tried Kazuyas launcher dozens of times and it pulls off sporatically at best. I found it easiest with Xiayou's move then (assuming you're on the left side of your opponent. You'll want to have hit before she actually launches them into the air. Another easy one I used was Devil Jin's move-- + then Hope this helps! Oh, and great guide! I was just thinking, unless you have two controllers isn't this game impossible to get 100% on? (for the I Always Like a Good Fight?)

BeardedBushMan
It is which is what I added the Special peripheral under the Overview of the roadmap. Gah, I didn't see that. That's a bummer for players who don't have two!
Setsuna
Gah, I didn't see that. That's a bummer for players who don't have two! I know, with both games lacking an online mode they probably aimed it at the players who play locally with other Tekken fighters. Sucks too I'm sure an online for Tag Tournament would have been a great addition in preparation for next game.

Setsuna
Do you actually need two controllers? Does the reassign trick not work here? I have two controllers but I'm just curious for other peoples sake. It is required, the reassign trick works during character select however during the actual match it will ask you to reconnect the other controller. Blaze Naruto Shippuden
Setsuna, one that that should be mentioned in the guide is that you can't play the game without installing the two game's components of Tekken Tag Tournament HD and Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Prolouge. I learned this just by reading ign's game review and watching their video review for the 3-1 game package. It means you can't play either game unless you install them first. And that the disc will still need to be in the console to play either of them. Edited November 30, 2011 by Blaze Naruto Shippuden

I'll add the second note in the roadmap considering alot of people try to play it without the disc since it shows up as a "downloaded" game on your games list but even then most people will try it out right away and figure it out pretty quick, in the end its no different from playing another retail disc game ... I initially only played TTT2 Prologue and didn't install TTT HD at all. Likewise, after I 100% it, I deleted the install and played TTT HD.
