Leicester_Lad_93
Problem Summary: - Have had a PS4 connected with wired connection since I got it on launch day with no problems - Suddenly today it says it can't find an IP address - When I manually changed IP address, it then finds it but instantly fails to find internet connection - Wireless connection works, but signal is weak due to distance from console to router - The cable hasn't broken - it works wired on my PS3. Any suggestions? Don't want a slow, laggy wireless connection Edited September 14, 2014 by Leicester_Lad_93
Oranje
Have you a tried a wired connection to your computer to see if that works? My old Netgear router did the same thing. The wifi works ok, but the LAN ports shat itself. Edit: My bad. Skipped the bit about the PS3. Here is a thread with people with a similar problem. A myriad of different methods have gotten to work for them. Link Edited September 15, 2014 by Oranje
