AlexanderWTF221
I took a while to write this and look for help... but here it is. So, basically, I can not access a few users in my ps3. The users I am talking about are those which you need to create to make a new SEN or watever the fuck it is called nowadays. ( if you don't get, there's this last section in the ps3 where you can find Turn Off System, Create a new User and the users you already have, am talking about the ones I created all overs these years ) I have a secondary account which I mainly use for buying stuff, but this account has been replaced by another one I created and I haven't used this ( secondary account ) for ages. I have the account I use for playing, the secondary and this new one. I can normally access the first and third ones but when it comes to the second one, when I click to change users it freezes and a black screen appears... I have to shut down the system, turn it back on and put my controller to that charging cable, then press the PS Button. I wonder what caused this and if there is any fixing... I'd like to delete this user but I can't. Another problem: the user I actually use for playing is very slow... it takes ages to load the friend list and sometimes I don't receive messages. But all other users I have are fast as if it was a new ps3. ( don't count the broken users ) Why this happens? So, if any of you have the answer for these 2 questions, I'd be happy as hell. Ryukori
I'm guessing it's because there are too many users on you PS3. You can try a couple of things. First, log in here with your alternate accounts: https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/login.action?request_locale=en_CA. Then under the "Devices" tab, deactivate your account (the ones attached to the users that you are able to delete) on your PS3. Then delete these users, and try deleting the users you weren't able to delete after. Once you deleted the broken users, make new users with accounts attached to them that have all your PlayStation Store purchases. If that method didn't work, then try restoring your PS3's file system and database. Instructions on how to do this properly can be found here: Restoring your PS3 File System & Database Helps to... - PlayStation® Forums. Read the instructions here very carefully. If you mess up a step, it could result in you losing all your save data.
