It will be for the 20th anniversary of the Tales of series. The character design looks a bit different from usual, but I'm quite excited
jgm4789
Tales of Zestiria Will Be Released Worldwide Geez, are they even trying to make me want a ps4 at this point. First persona 5, now a new tales are for ps3. Looks like i won't get a ps4 until 2016 LOL.
CookieOnFire
Well, it's all in the timing. Big RPG titles are unlikely going to be on the PS4 for another year or so I'd say. And don't forget, PS4 won't be out in Japan until Feb of 2014, so yeah, no way they'd release on such a new system.
Aeliana
Character design kinda reminded me of Skies of Arcadia at first glance.
DPatriot
No interest on the game but ps3 is really getting some nice games. Best console library?
NovaSD
Great news, especially the worldwide part. Seems they're finally realizing the west has a large portion of Tales fans. Now if only they would localize Hearts and Innocence R for the Vita... Edited December 12, 2013 by NovaSD
Kyoko_N
Awesome news! If a worldwide release announcement this soon means a faster localization then this is great indeed.Faster localization or not,Namco has my money for Tales Of Zestiria. CookieOnFire
No interest on the game but ps3 is really getting some nice games. Best console library? No way. PS2 has the biggest and best library by far PS1 comes next imo.
Arturia
Great News! Surprised they even said worldwide right off the bat, just shows how good sales are doing for tales game even in the West. So cannot wait for this!
Ryukori
I'm glad another Tales game is making it over here. I still have to start Graces f and Xillia, though. They've been sitting on my shelf sealed for months. No way. PS2 has the biggest and best library by far PS1 comes next imo. In my opinion: 1. PS2 2. PS3 3. PS1

CookieOnFire
Virtually none of the truly great PS2 games are in the PS3 archives library, and many great PS1 games are not available either. So hah!

NomadDragon
This is exciting. My friends all talk about Tales like crazy, maybe I should start playing them. Too bad this won't be out until 2015.
alec613
I want Gaikai!!! I just want to move on from my ps3. Let's see I have 4 tales games, 3 Final Fantasy games, and Persona 5 in my PS3 Backlog. At this point, I won't be able to touch my ps4.
Lethal-Hjorth
Character design kinda reminded me of Skies of Arcadia at first glance. ^this and loving it. Can't wait to get down to Tales buisness again.
ShadowStar83x
Looks awesome. Getting ToS Chronicles and thinking of trying some others. Good times for PS3 owners!
Fusion Cloud
I'll be getting this as well. Currently playing through Graces f and Xillia is next. I'll be also getting Symphonia Chronicles next year (although I still own a GC copy of the game, I've had it since the launch day), it's such a good game. And I've never played the sequel. Will be nice finally get to play it. And then Xillia 2 next summer. Oh and FFX HD. Being an FF fan I've somehow managed to skip that one, so now's the perfect time for me to play it. And Lightning Returns... will be getting that one as well, although not at full price. Looking at the future releases and what has already been released on the PS3, PS3's game library is easily the best any console has had. So many great games. maddester
I'm gonna be honest, before this game got announced I was expecting the next Tales game (not named Xillia 2 or the Symphonia HD games) to be release on the PS4. So seeing this game also being release on the PS3 caught me off guard. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad for another Tales to be coming out, especially since it will be released worldwide, but still the PS3, not the PS4 Namco? Fusion Cloud
not the PS4 Namco? The latest game, Tales of Xillia, sold a bit under 1 million copies worldwide. And that was after 80+ million PS3s were sold. So not that much. Imagine how few copies would Zestiria sell when there are only a few million (instead of 80 million) PS4 users.
