Dagger
Credit to Ryukori for the banner. Overview: -Estimated trophy difficulty: 3.0/10 -Offline: 11 (6(B)4(S)1(G)) -Online : 1(1(B)) -Approximate amount of time to 100%: 2-3 hours -Minimum number of playthroughs needed: One -Number of missable trophies: None -Glitched trophies: None -Do cheat codes disable trophies?: Kobayashi Maru doesn't affect any of the other trophies. Introduction Star Trek DAC is a simple shooting game where there are 5 ships, and 3 game modes. The trophies require little to none effort and are easier done online. If you plan on doing the majority or all of them online then get atleast 2 boosting partners. One trophy you may have a problem with is Kobayashi Maru, look at the trophy itself in the guide for more details and follow what it says. If you haven't gotten it, don't complain and keep trying as it may take no time at all or more time that it's worth getting the trophy for. Walkthrough Step 1 250 Kills in Team Deathmatch By going for the 250 kills in team deathmatch most of the trophies will be earned. Primarily play as the flagship and go for killing. The only trophy that you may miss doing this is No Mercy but if you have just get a boosting thread here... Trophy Boosting Thread Step 2 Conquest Mode and Assault Mode Again these trophies are explainable by themselves and you just go through each one from the list and if there is one that is meant to be done in conquest or assault mode then do it. To get each trophy look at the guide for more details. Step 3 Boosting the Missed Trophies and Multiplayer Some of the trophies can be boosted and get attained quicker than actually going for the trophies in solo, so if you have happened to missed one, then just put your name down in the boosting thread and get it by boosting. I'd advise getting Nero's Rage by boosting because you rarely get the chance in solo to kill 3 people with the invulnerability power-up turned on. Also get the multiplayer trophy which is to get killed first. If you and your boosting partner go into a match together alone that should be no problem. Step 4 Kobayashi Maru / Cleanup Just input the code provided in the desciption within the guide. Won't take long. If you are struggling with some trophies than you can get a boosting partner. Dagger
http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/280/01.jpg Academy Graduate Earn 1 kill with each ship class (except the Support Frigate) This trophy requires you to use the first four ships which are; Fighter, Missile Cruiser, Bomber and Flagship, and earn 1 kill against an opponent with each of them. Can be easily done by yourself or with a boosting partner just kill normally and the next time you die choose a different ship class. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/280/02.jpg Red Shirt Be the first to die in a Versus multiplayer match This trophy requires you to be killed first in a versus multiplayer match and can be very difficult in normal multiplayer matches. You may want to boost this or just be quick in spawning and getting to the opposing team. Press to get an overview of where everyone is on the map and you can still move whilst in that mode. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/280/03.jpg Imperial Instincts Earn 25 cumulative point captures in Conquest I earned this trophy by playing solo 1v1 against an AI opponent, with the difficulty set to easy. On easy the AI tend to generally ignore you or just give up after a few shots and you hardly die on this level of difficulty. There are two capture points available for you to go to at the start. Get one and let the opponent get the other. Move to the other base when he is done and take over the teams new capture whilst they take over yours. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/280/04.jpg Bridge Commander Earn 250 cumulative kills in Team Deathmatch Select Team Deathmatch and press to get the maximum amount of ships for both your team and the opposing team. Use these settings: Game Duration: 30:00 Goal Kills: 200 Set Difficulty: Easy Choosing easy means that the AI is dumb and won't kill you but also means that your team is the same difficulty as the AI team. Use the Fighter ship as it is the most effective. Will take a few tries, I could get 50% of my teams total kills by the end of the game. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/280/05.jpg Mirror, Mirror Capture a point with the aid of your own wingman This trophy requires you to get a Wingman power-up for your ship first. Without using the power up go and capture a point and don't use it until the green bar indicating how much you have captured is 3/4 completed. This is because the Wingman power-up only lasts for a few seconds and so has to be used just before capturing. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/280/06.jpg Born Leader Capture 3 points and help destroy the 4th in a single Assault match You may have to boost this as it is quite difficult to do in solo. In solo get the AI to be on easy and start getting capture points as normal until 3 are gotten for you, now go to the fourth now unlocked base and start shooting at it until it is destroyed. Can be done by boosting, just make sure the partner is idle. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/280/12.jpg Kobayashi Maru Some trophies are unattainable... unless you cheat This trophy seems a little confusing to people. The code has been found out but the code may not pop up straight away due to the trophies delayed pop up time. Use ,,,, and in that order. I got mine by button mashing but now I know this is the correct input to use. The trophy has to be earned on the pause menu playing deathmatch in solo. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/280/07.jpg NCC-1701 Earn 250,000 points as the Flagship class in one Team Deathmatch game The flagship class is the first ship on the menu and is probably the worst one. You could get this whilst trying to get the 250 kills in Team Deathmatch games, and have the AI set to easy because it is easier to kill them and also get their escape pod meaning 2 kills earned. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/280/08.jpg No Mercy Earn 50 cumulative Escape Pod kills Earning 50 escape pod kills alone can be a bit of a pain so it is best to do it with a boosting parter. The AI tend to use the escape pod when you destroy their ship but fly quickly away so that you cannot shoot them. When boosting make sure that they quickly eject and stay close to your ship so that they can be killed. This trophy can count towards the 250 kills in Team Deathmatch trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/280/10.jpg Vulcan Wisdom Don’t die or shoot, yet capture 3 points (including the enemy base) in a Conquest match In solo this is fairly easy to do and I highly doubt you need a boosting parter if you choose to set the AI as easy as they do nothing to get in your way. The first two captures will be easy but you have to watch out for health going around the enemy base as there tends to be quite a few turret like enemies that shoot at you. Watch and move back if your health gets worryingly low. Any ship will do for this one. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/280/11.jpg Nero’s Rage Destroy 3 enemies while using a single invulnerability powerup There are two methods for doing this and I have found both have worked well. I got mine in solo but have helped two people get theirs online. Online Method: Get two willing boosters to go onto the green team whilst you go onto the blue team. Choose the figher ship and start looking for the invulnerability power-up. Once you have it go to your partners area on the opposite team and make sure they are really close. Then fire at will, once they die make sure they quickly eject their escape pods and stay close to you. Make sure invulnerability power-up is turned on though. Solo Method: Get into a Team Deathmatch where the difficulty is set to easy and get the maximum amount of AI. Sometimes there may be a time where there are 2-4 ships from the AI team clunked together. Turn on the power-up and shoot quickly. The invulnerability power-up doesn't last long and maybe for about 3 seconds so be quick. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/280/09.jpg Starfleet Medal of Honor No deaths or ejections, plus at least 15 kills, in a single match Can be easily done when the AI is set to easy and boosting for 250 Team Deathmatch kills. Just watch carefully for your health but it shouldn't be a worry. I would like to thank Backspin420 and Vintsukka with their help and contributions towards the guide. Vintsukka
http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/280/11.jpg Nero’s Rage Destroy 3 enemies while using a single invulnerability powerup Solo Method: Get into a Team Deathmatch where the difficulty is set to easy and get the maximum amount of AI. It's a lot easier to do in Assault or Conquest, because in those modes the enemy ships are defending certain areas and are usually close together. Vintsukka
The code for Kobayashi Maru: Got it experimenting after reading all the info in the other thread. Tried it a few times and worked every time! After using it and unpausing, a small message will appear in the top right corner of the screen under your kill count, saying "Weapon Parameters Augmented". Did it in Solo -> Team Deathmatch. Bambi
Nero’s Rage is easier than Vulcan Wisdom I was able to get Nero’s Rage solo, but as for Vulcan Wisdom I can't. I already tried to play solo a quite few times and they do move and it's hard to capture 3 points. Any tips on how to do this solo, (if not can someone that actually wants to help me message me so I can boost, this is the only trophy I need. I was able to do all of the other by myself)? How many ships should I have in my team for this? I was trying with one (myself) and it didn't work. Thanks
Catalyst08
I did Vulcan Wisdom 2v2 Solo. I used the support ship as it has good shields. I captured and remained at one point and just kept knocking the 2 enemy ships out of the control point, whilst my AI teammate captured the other control point. Eventually you will have enough time to go and chip away at the enemy base. When the base locks go back to the control point the enemy are capturing and your teammate should destroy the ships. Recapture and rinse and repeat, it shouldn't take that long. Also I got Red Shirt really easy. Host your own 1v1 Versus TDM. Pick the Bomber (lowest shields) and start game. If you press triangle and using the sector map race to the enemy ship, you should die before anybody enters the game. Might be worth putting in the guide. Thanks for the guide btw Dagger Edited April 17, 2010 by Catalyst08
captainajs
I also got Nero's Rage on Conquest, I just let my team capture 2 of the 3, while I went to the other one and waited and eventually the 3 ships turned up at the same time, far easier to do than deathmatch, especially if your not boosting! nostros
Born Leader is really easy. just use the flagship and set ai to easy with only 1 bot. blaze thru to the stronghold. take out the first piller and second piller ether left or right of gun's, blast 1 wall into the core and enter it and circle around to the other side so nothing can hit you. all the ai will do is circle's around the whole thing trying to get you while you blast away at the core.
