Blaze Naruto Shippuden
http://i.imgur.com/dhJyihO.png Banner by Zetberg Welcome to the Treasure Chest Appendix, a culmination of all you need to know about the various chest and their locations. Below are detailed descriptions on how to obtain/open every chest in the game. This complete treasure chest guide is designed to help you know and find the missable chests that are located early in the game. This section is also designed to act as a quick reference for players focused on unlocking the Treasure Hoarder trophy. Please refer to the list and mark off the chest you collected as you play the game to make things easier for yourself. Also note that this guide contains PS3 exclusive treasure chests. Disintegration Rings: Disintegration Rings are rings that can remove things like ice blocks from the fields and are also used to remove elemental seals on chest. The rings come in many elements such as fire, and each one has its own effect. Charging Disintegration Rings: Talking to a Ring Expert/Sorceresses you find in towns is a good way to recharge your rings fast. They will charge your rings for the follow fees: Fire Ring: 800 Fol Thunder Ring: 2,000 Fol Earth Ring: 8,000 Fol Light Ring: 3,000 Fol Wind Ring: 10,000 Fol Darkness Ring: 20,000 Fol Water Ring: 50,000 Fol Command Skill – Charge: The command skill “Charge” can be found on Planet Aeos within the Miga Insect Warren cave. The Charge skill allows you to use a Disintegration Stone to charge a Disintegration Ring. Once you max out this skill. One use charges the ring to maximum. Treasure Hunter Tip and Tricks: Finding it difficult to locate treasure chests? The first time you get Lymle in your party and you reached the Alanaire Citadel. Head up the stairway on the west side of the map, and activate the first of two obelisks to gain access to the treasure wing on the west side of the map. It is there that you’ll find the skill manual for “Treasure Sense”, a passive skill that makes all treasure chests, harvesting points, and mining points appear on your auto map. Teach it to Lymle (the only character who can learn it), and you'll never miss another treasure again! In need a treasure hunter companion? The START button is your best friend. Once you found and teach the “Treasure Sense” skill to Lymle. Don’t be afraid to press the start button frequently to help you located those treasure chest much easier wherever you go. Have too many of an items? If you open a chest and receive a message that you can't carry anymore of the item inside, open your inventory menu and locate the item that’s in the chest. Once you find the item, hit the SELECT button to discard it. You only need to discard one item instead of a certain amount that’s in the chest. Once you discarded the items then you can open the chest and collect the contents. Missable Treasure Chest Locations: Collect all treasure chests located at these places before leaving! Their names will also appear in bolded Red below. Also make sure to have fully charged your Fire Ring before leave the planet towards your next destination. This is to avoid the locations that have ice barriers sealed chest and not have any charge to unseal them. * Ghimdo's House * Cardianon Mothership * Subterranean City * Control Tower * Alternate Earth: Abandoned Town * Alternate Earth: Military Facility Legend Key: Blue = {Ice Barrier} * The Fire Ring is gained by story progression. Sienna = {Earth Barrier} * The Earth Ring is found in a chest in the Military Facility on the Alternate Earth. NOTE!!! This chest is one of the missables. Purple = {Dark Barrier} * The Light Ring is gained by story progression. Lime = {Ivy Barrier} * The Wind Ring is gained by completing the quest "The Wind Ring" in Centropolis, but is gained by story progression. Plum = {Light Barrier} * The Darkness Ring is gained by defeating the powerful Undying Dragon from the west sealed door of the Palace of Creation's Audience Chamber, that is now open after beating the game and re-loading your clear save file data. Red = {Fire Barrier} * The Water Ring is gained from a chest behind Gabriel in the Cave of the Seven Stars. You don't have to engage him to get the chest, you can simply walk behind him without triggering the fight to grab the ring. nimrod
Reserved for the list of the Wandering dungeons random treasure chests. Which also counts towards the trophy. Huh? Thats wrong. The Wandering Dungeon Chests do not count for the 100% Chest Collection. Treasure Hoarder Open 100% of all treasure chests. Mon, Jan 3 2011, 12:53 PM Celestial Slayer Defeat Gabriel Celeste. Mon, Jan 24 2011, 4:32 PM As you can see, i got 100% Treasure before i was even able to enter the Wandering Dungeon. What does count and is needed is the Weapons from the Wandering Dungeon for 100% Weapon Collection. PS: Thank god you put in the right Rings and Locations for Savage Sparrows and Dragon Roar  so sick of seeing people just copying the Data from the XBox. I've been writing down every everything I do or collect in the game. Thanks for the info of the Wandering Dungeon not counting towards the trophy. I'm at the Cave of the Seven Stars and I'm currently level grinding and avoiding the bees. I'll be road kill if I can't proceed any further without training. And this list and the other list are completely different from the sister's site. Gruntingbear
Nice appendix. I got the trophy too, I missed one though so I needed to backtrack all the way. And it was the one in the colloseum with the Saber Tooth. Forgot to look there. I worked with a guide and placed Post-it's in there which I couldn't open yet. So I was really pissed. But I'm glad I got that one
nimrod
Some of are chest have extra content, have ps3 exclusive chest, have more element sealed chest, and different element sealed chests. Wasn't meant as an offense. I'm just glad that there finally is a full, complete, working, correct, PS3 list. I wrote down a few of the changes myself (and posted somewhere here on the forum too) but was always to lazy to make a big pile of list.
GoodNewsOke
Well, first of: thanks for the list. It's more than appreciated. Secondly: Am I reading this correctly, there are no more missable chests after the Alternate Earth? That would be great, so I don't have to play the game with a guide open all the time. And the new PS3 exclusive cheast are all non-missable right? I just arrived at the Cardianon Mothership and follow a guide from the 360 version so far... I don't want to find out, that there are eclusice chests during that part, that I couldn't find wit hthis guide...

There are only about 6 exclusives. It you're using a 360 guide you'll encounter differences such as different element seal chests and different chest contents. Actually I found a complete PS3 list a few months ago but it was on a competing PS3 trophy site (no, not the 360 sister site). It looked like it had all the PS3 treasure boxes correctly laid out, with the correct elemental barriers.

It contains so many errors that's not properly explained exactly. Plus he doesn't even have the game. He rented it from Gamefly and sent it back ages ago. If you're talking about the .com version of the PS3trophies site.

Well it was the only list that actually had the ps3 chests on it, I didn't actually use it for my playthrough. So I don't know how accurate it was. Personally I just used the 360 guide and constantly scanned with Lymle to find everything else myself.

djhoch1226
I used this guide from beginning to end. I am 99.99% certain I didn't miss any missable chests because I was extra careful about them. I copied this all into a spreadsheet and put an x by a treasure when I got it then deleted all cells marked with x after I saved. I just got the last chest on the list and... I'm missing one :-( 99.76%. For the life of me I have no clue where it could be. I didn't leave an area until I got all chests and I went back to get all elementally sealed chests already. EDIT: I found it. It was the Gold Chalice in B5 of 7SD. The fire barrier had been dispelled but somehow I didn't open the chest. No idea how that happened. Especially after I chuckled when I saw that someone in one of the boards here did the same thing. Karma's a bitch, ain't it? Blaze Naruto Shippuden
I used this guide from beginning to end. Especially after I chuckled when I saw that someone in one of the boards here did the same thing. Karma's a bitch, ain't it? I thank you. my last chest was in 7SD. I overlooked it because it was blocked by boarder. You are god. Now the chest guide is 100% complete and right for the PS3. Edit: My last chest was a weird one. it was chest number 6. Sylphstone x2 found in the 3 floor of the cave of seven stars. In the guide I have it marked for Ivy seal. I most of removed the seal and never opened the chest when I was standing in front of it. lol. I'm pretty sure it has an Ivy seal. I just think I had removed it before and this chest became the one I waste 10+ hours looking for. Hopefully players don't do what I did when they go for 100% chest. I'm so used to the cave of 7 stars but now I know what that means when I'm doing the BTs. Thank you, Master. That "someone" would be me. lol congrats on your last chest. it seems like some players don't actually open sealed chest when they unseal them but end up marking them off their list. Blaze Naruto Shippuden
my chest collection is 99.76 I think Did I miss one chest? yep, I would go back and check to see if you actually opened every sealed chest in the game. On average, players unseal the chest and mark it off their list and continue playing the game normally but don't actually open the chest. I happened to 3 other players on here so far. So I'll keep looking and you'll find it.
