iNoland
just a side note: the picture below says this list is by q_wertyu1, but my username says I'm iNoland. q_wertyu1 is my PSN ID, I'm trying to get my username changed. I AM the writer of these lists. For both configurations: Tricks in parentheses are ones that are performed goofy footed. For standard configurations: If there are two icons then assume you tap the first and hold the second. Also, holding while performing any trick, except for the signature TRICKY Uber, will put the trick into 'tweak' mode. It gives more points and and I believe more boost. For classic configuration: If there are multiple icons then assume you hold all of the ones shown. Standard configuration with buttons. [spoiler=buttons] Basic Tricks - Indy - Melon - Truckdriver - Rocket Multi-button Tricks - Stalefish (Mute) - Crail (Nose Grab) - Tail Grab (Seatbelt) - Mute (Stalefish) - Nose grab (Crail) - Seatbelt (Tail Grab) - Stiffy (Flying Squirrel) - Flying Squirrel (Stiffy) TRICKY Uber Tricks - Waaay Back (Skyscraper) - Skyscraper (Waaay Back) - Sledgehammer - Checkin' the Nose - Blackbird (All You Can Eat) - Submersible (Sidewinder) - Stay Frosty (Royal Flush) - All You Can Eat (Blackbird) - Sidewinder (Submersible) - Royal Flush (Stay Frosty) - Cradle May Fall (Huge in Europe) - Huge in Europe (Cradle May Fall) or or or - Signature Move (Unique to each character) Ground Tricks - Nose Press - Tail Press Grind Tricks - Ta Da! - The Proposal - Utah Teapot :square: - The Wheelman :circle: - Super Fish-L :triangle: - Laser Seesaw TRICKY Grind Tricks - Sit on It - Invertible - Skeleton :square: - Westcoast Crow :circle: - Russian Dreidle :triangle: - The Luger Standard configuration with right analog stick. Wintersun
Ah I'd love to help you out with this, but as a vet I use classic controls so I don't know how each button transfers but very detailed, awesome stuff!
kfree7
Thanks for this post. Was waiting for it. Big help for big air.
iNoland
Thanks for the feedback. I was worried that I was making an idiot of myself doing this. It took a while to do all the tricks, write down their names, and check if they were the same goofy footed or not. And any help with the other controls would be greatly appreciated. As far as I know I just need the classic contols and the standard with the right analog stick. So if you someone did the classic controls, I could probably do the standard right analog stick myself later Edited February 25, 2012 by iNoland
Wintersun
Actually you could help me a lot. Since I was getting annoyed at how EA did the classic setup i chose to just relearn the controls and do standard, so if you post the tricks for classic, i'll copy them on to my post. Like I said, it would be cool if this was a easy sticky guide for newcomers to see a trick list. Oh and i would of course give you credit for helping me Why didn't you like the classic? It did take a bit getting used to with the new physics but I feel right at home And sure I'll start getting tricks down for classic, may take some time but I could have it done by sunday! iNoland
I figured new game new style new controls. Might as well learn it the way it was made to be played. I still think that the controls from Tricky were better, but idk I just couldn't get into the classic controls for SSX
vix
i wonder what those equate to in classic controls...that's what i've been using. very nice list though.
kfree7
Before you land do you push a button to straighten up? On Silinet's video on another thread it seemed he straightened up before landing.
iNoland
THE LIST IS FINALLY DONE! I have a header, the classic list done, both standard configurations lists done, and that's all I can think of. The remainder of this thread can be used for trick questions/problems, and also feedback about my list (i.e. spelling, errors, etc.)
Joe111eleven111
Thanks for the list. Somehow, I'm missing 16% of the Super Tricks (not the Uber Super Tricks), which is the last Tricky badge I need. This should help me get it pretty quickly.
theinsanething
It would've been nice for the classic grab controls to have been actually, well, classic. =/ I keep doing 3 button and 4 button combinations hoping that they actually did something. Instead, I keep getting Duplicate Trick plaguing my screen.
Gekodeko
Thank you, now I don't have to look at one of the same three poses when I hit a rail. I honestly didn't even know you could double press buttons for grinds.

kfree7
This is a great list. I am personally suffering from SSX depression. Just cannot get the tricks going. If I can master the trick then the plat will happen. Assuming they fix the 50k player thing. Sometimes talking about it helps. Nice work on each of your big combos that I've seen. Are you doing a manual in and out of tricks? The trick is to keep your Tricky the whole way down the mountain. I'm by no means an SSX master but once I got into the habit of linking my tricks and keeping my Tricky alive I noticed my scores were more than doubling. Just keep at it, I'm sure you'll get the tricks going.
kfree7
Has anyone noticed if putting 2 mods as tricks helps or do you just need one?
theicecamel
I think or is a grind move. Its the last trick I needed for the badge.
iNoland
I think or is a grind move. Its the last trick I needed for the badge. That would make sense. I dont know how (if) I missed that. Mezzo
Thanks for the wonderful list, this has helped my average score reach 30Mill+. Edited April 1, 2012 by Mezzo
Minamu
I've been stuck at 93% super ubers for a long time now and I can't figure out what's missing? Is off hand grabs required? Just did the special two button grinds but that didn't change anything. Any common tricks people miss out on? Tried playing as Griff but that didn't change anything either. Edit: Actually, it was a regular uber trick, got it Thanks. Edited April 3, 2012 by Minamu
iNoland
Ive heard about a glitch that will cause the badge to freeze at 93%, however that is unverified. And I don't believe that the character specific signature moves counts towards that badge. Ill double check my list. EDIT: Edit: Actually, it was a regular uber trick, got it Thanks. glad you got it mate Edited April 5, 2012 by iNoland
