MOVE controllers can be substituted for Dualshock 3's Introduction: SpongeBob Squarepants: Plankton's Robotic Revenge is modest 3D action platformer that features drop-in drop-out local 4 player co-op. But lets be honest, the main selling point to this game is that it is very easy and features 10 gold trophies and a platinum. Not much else needs to be said except: Who lives in a pineapple under the sea "SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS" Absorbant and yellow and porous is he "SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS" If nautical nonsense be something you wish “SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS" Then drop on the deck and flop like a fish "SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS" Ready? SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS! AH AHH AHH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHH... http://i.imgur.com/vbHSJoA.png Step 1: Play through the campaign Spongebob has no difficulty options and the game is very simple to say the least. This game features local offline 4 player co-op so if you have someone to play the game with it will make your road to platinum that much quicker. Yes, other players will siphon sprockets (parts needed to upgrade gizmos) from you but you will need to fully upgrade all 5 character’s gizmos, these sprockets will save to that character which will in turn make the final grind that much shorter. The campaign features 3 worlds with 15 levels spread out between them. Each world will take just over 60 minutes each to complete. Completing the story will net you the following trophies: (G)Pirateer (G)Hard Rock (G)Beach Head (B)Bot Wrecker (B)Seaweed Squashed (B)Lock and Load (B)Skydiver (B)Master Overloader And you will undoubtedly unlock Sea Warrior, Decked Out, Armed to the Gills, and one of the character specific upgrade trophies. While completing the story and picking up as many sprockets as you can you can also focus on getting the game’s miscellaneous trophies. A couple of the miscellaneous trophies will require at least one other player or controller. These are the two medic trophies Not Defeated Yet and Field Medic, to unlock these trophies all you need to do is stand near a downed ally 20 times. If you have four controllers you should also unlock the 4 player trophy Team Sponge, see the related trophy description for more information. Step 2: Grind Time There are a total of five characters and you will need to fully upgrade each of their seven gizmos. This rounds up to 39,150 each, which will cost you a total of 195,750 sprockets. The good news is you will have already fully upgraded one character’s gizmo during your playthrough of the campaign. So you should only have four characters left. You can choose to replay the game with each character or replay specific levels to grind your sprockets. Upon completion of this step you will have unlocked four of the five following trophies: (G)Master Sponge (G)Master Squirrel (G)Master Star (G)Master Squid (G)Master Crab Step 3: Clean Up Use this step to clean up any trophies you may have missed. One such trophy may include Coral Skydiver. See the respective trophy descriptions for more information. After completing all of these steps, congratulate yourself on your new shiny Trophy Edited October 28, 2013 by M-Easy

M-Easy
http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2327/BCE.jpg Master Crab Unlock all Gizmos and upgrades for Mr. Krabs. Each character has the same seven gizmos and each of these gizmos must be fully upgraded. It costs 39,150 sprockets to fully upgrade one character’s gizmo and a total of 195,750 sprockets to fully upgrade all of them. You will fully upgrade one character’s gizmo sometime during the final world in the campaign. From here you can choose to finish the game with that character or switch to another character to chip away at their upgrades. But if you choose to swap to another character I suggest you return to the first world (2nd level Dutchman’s Hollow) to earn enough sprockets to fully upgrade your 'Pickle Blaster' so you will not be overwhelmed by the stronger third world enemies. As for fully upgrading the rest of your characters you have couple of options. One option; a less tedious but slower option is you can play though the story again with each character until you max them out sometime during the third world. Like I said this option is slower as you will need to fight boss battles and complete freefall sections that give you little sprockets for your time. Also, the further you progress through the game the enemies become stronger and are more annoying to kill, these stronger enemies do not yield any more sprockets than their weaker counterparts. Or you can use another method which has you replaying the first world (Dutchman's Triangle) over and over again. From my testing this method yields the most amount of sprockets per minute than playing the other two worlds. It is also faster to not play the first level of the Dutchman's Triangle (Shipwreck Reef) because that level has a boss battle and freefall section that slow down sprocket consumption. It is also optional to play the forth level 'Davey Jones' locker or at least up to that level’s boss fight. Playing from Dutchman's Hollow up to the boss fight in Davy Jones' Locker I was averaging around 465 sprockets per minute. This is a bit less than playing from Dutchman's Hollow up to Davy Jones' Locker which average about 525 sprockets per minute. I believe these are currently the two best options for grinding sprockets, the latter is faster but the former is more diverse thus slightly less tedious. Muting the game and playing some music of your choice will make this grind seem less monotonous. The only tips for making sprocket collection go faster it to make sure you look out for ‘hidden’ alcoves that contain more barrels for you to destroy. Also, it seems that you get bonus sprockets for killing enemies while your super power is activated (activated by pressing ). Authors Note: You only get extra sprockets with Mr. Krab's super power, thanks to slyjak for the conformation. Sprocket allocation breaks down like this. You get five sprockets for each barrel. You get 20 sprockets for picking up the silver sprockets dropped by defeated red bots, these sprockets don’t automatically fly to you so you will need to walk over them to collect them. The charge turret bots and green bots you need to ground slam give you eight sprockets per kill. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2327/E36.jpg Bot Wrecker Players destroy 250 enemies. Story related, cannot be missed. If playing solo you will unlock this trophy while you are about halfway through the second world. Obviously, it will be a little later if playing co-op. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2327/C50.jpg Seaweed Squashed Win the first encounter against Plankton. Story related, cannot be missed. The fight Plankton for the first time at the end of the first level after the first freefall section. Not difficult at all, just hold to shoot his weak point while dodging his attacks. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2327/2F6.jpg Lock and Load Unlock the Pickle Blaster. Story related, cannot be missed. You will be given this weapon when you first encounter the upgrade machine early on in the first level of the game. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2327/053.jpg Skydiver Complete the first freefall section. Story related, cannot be missed. The first freefall section is towards the end of the first level. After you defeat your first charged turret bot jump into the tornado to start the section. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2327/E8F.jpg Coral Skydiver Complete any freefall section without any players taking damage. This is the only slightly 'hard' trophy in the game. I would suggest you try for the trophy during the first freefall section as they get difficult as you progress through the game. The only reason this trophy is mildly frustrating is because freefall controls are pretty wonky. You should attempt this trophy solo and not in co-op because one player getting hit will void this trophy. Load up the first level and progress about 5-7 minutes until you reach the first freefall section. As you are falling down make sure you are looking ahead and staying out of any debris field and not trying to collect sprockets. Once you get used to the controls it’s pretty much smooth sailing until you reach the end of the fall, it is here where the game will throw debris at you all at once, avoid this last field to finish the freefall. I pretty much stayed in the upper left-center area the whole time. When I saw debris coming from the top left I casually moved more towards the center, and when the debris was in the center I moved back to the upper left-center area. This trophy isn't too bad, I got it on my first solo attempt of the first freefall, and I had previously failed every subsequent attempt further into the game where the freefalls get progressively harder. Pro Tip: If you go into the freefall section with only one bar of health left then if you get hit you die so you get to start again in the freefall section. This saves time because now you will not need to restart the level if you fail. Thanks to missauru for confirming this tip works. M-Easy
http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2327/29B.jpg Sea Warrior Complete a level without being defeated or revived. Basically unmissable. This game is very easy to put it mildly. The game is clearly made for children and the difficulty reflects this fact. You should unlock this trophy after the first level soon after you defeated Plankton. If you find yourself frequently dying in this game and you are over the age of 10 years old then I would suggest you find a new hobby. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2327/826.jpg Master Overloader Players defeat 50 enemies by overloading them. Story related, cannot be missed. If playing solo you will unlock this trophy towards the end of the second world. Certain enemies are killed by overloading them, these enemies are the turret bots. Throughout the game you will need to kill them to open gates so you can continue the story. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2327/C03.jpg Field Medic Players revive allies 20 times. This trophy requires at least two controllers. To revive an ally all you need to do is stand in the big green circle around their downed body. It can easily be boosted by killing all but 2-3 enemies and letting these few bots continually down your allies. The more controllers/allies you have the faster this will go. I did this at the very beginning of Dutchman's Hollow which is the second level of the first world. I used four controllers. As soon as the level started I moved up a bit so the enemy bots started spawning, I killed all but a few of them and let the surviving bots down my idling allies, when one went down I stood in their revive circle until they got up. I continued to revive my fallen allies until I reached 20 revives and this trophy unlocked. It took me about 5 minutes but I left too many bots originally, if you only leave two or three bots it should only take you about 3 minutes to unlock this trophy if you are using four controllers. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2327/50E.jpg Not Defeated Yet Players revive an ally. See Field Medic http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2327/433.jpg Decked Out Unlock and fully upgrade any Gizmo. Cannot be missed, you should have enough sprockets to max out your 'Pickle Blaster' after you have defeated Plankton for the first time, if not then you will have enough very early into the second level. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2327/153.jpg Armed to the Gills Unlock every Gizmo on a single character. See Master Crab. This trophy will unlock after you have merely unlocked each of the seven gizmos for a single character. You will obtain the trophy while working towards one of your fully upgraded trophies. It will cost a total 4,500 sprockets to unlock each weapon. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2327/645.jpg Team Sponge Complete a level with 4 players. The bad news about this trophy is this game is offline only so you will need four controllers to unlock it. The good news is PlayStation Move controllers will suffice if you do not have a combination of four Dualshock 3’s or Sixaxis controllers. More good news about this trophy is you do not have to play an entire level with four players to unlock it. I unlocked this trophy by playing the first level solo up until the tornado that starts the first freefall section. After I defeated the first charged kill turret bot I moved up near the tornado but did not jump in. Here I turned on my other 3 controllers and pressed start on each of them, their characters immediately dropped into the game. Now I jumped into the tornado with only my main character to start the freefall section, this started the freefall section for all four players. *This part is key for people using Move controllers because with the Move controllers you cannot move at all (irony, I know), but during this short freefall section no movement is needed.* If you are using Move controllers you will need to reassign them to their appropriate player numbers (2,3,4) to drop-in to the game. Once the freefall section ends the trophy unlocks. Edited November 5, 2013 by Labartu

It was OK. Its a kids game and I had no problems with it my first playthrough, its actually pretty fun. But I got bored with the grind, the same would can be said of any game though. Thanks for getting this up quick M. Have to pick it up. Yeah, I think you could use it for THL. Like Lep said you can get 15 trophies (nearly half of them are GOLD) in around 4 hours. Its up to you if you want to stick around for the grind now or wait until after THL.

Roronora_Zoro666
I like the roadmap. Don't mean to be rude, but does this really need a guide, its pretty self-explanatory as is and won't require much effort at all. Either way, very nice guide. Glad a spongebob game got a trophy list, I loved the last 2. ;

slyjak
Something I noticed is that each of the characters have somewhat different abilities when they have their super mode activated. Mr. Krabs is one of the only ones I noticed who gives you a lot more sprockets when he kills enemies. I noticed having 700 more sprockets with him at the end of the 2nd level than any of the other characters. I believe that Spongebob is the only one that is invincible with his super power activated. I'm not sure what Sandy and Patrick's super moves are but Squidward's gun becomes a bit more powerful I believe. I'm done grinding with all the characters for the plat except for Mr Krabs but thankfully his will be the shortest grind because of his super ability. Yeah, I found that out when playing one of the later characters too because the game never tells you about your super mode, even in the tutorial, lol. I have one question though, I went into the options menu and found a section for cheat codes. There are around 8 of them with question marks. Does anyone know how I get these cheat codes and what they do? Any help would be appreciated. I just got plat in the game so I just want to mess around since I only had it for about a day. I was also paranoid that any cheats would disable trophies.
Nobodygrotesque
So for the Team Sponge trophy I used 2 DS3, 1 move controller and a fight stick during a free fall and it worked perfectly fine, So a fight stick can be used as well and on a side note the very next part was a boss fight so to get the 25 revives it doesn't have to come from player 1 I put down all 4 controllers and just walked away everyone revived each other since they were all bundled up and I got the trophy for 25 revives.
