The purpose of this Guide is to show you how to complete the game whilst earning all of the trophies in the quickest time possible. Now you will have to complete the game twice, in your first playthrough you should targeting 25/36 of the game's trophies. Furthermore the guide will also take into account what you need to do in your second playthrough in order to mop up remainder of trophies, which are highlighted in Red throughout the guide.

 

This walkthrough will be played in such a way, it will take into account the following:

 

  • How to complete the game under Hard Mode.

 

  • Without raising a single Alarm.

 

  • How to complete the game without the need to use any Medikits or Dying. So this walkthrough will show you how to play the game in a conservative fashion. You should be saving your game on a regular basis, but there are certain parts throughout the game where the chance of dying is very high and it may beyond your control. So at these points, the guide will say 'SAVE YOUR GAME HERE' and what this means is that you should not only save your game but you must make a backup copy of your save on an external hard drive.

 

  • How to complete the game without using Primary Fire of your Assault Rifle.

 

  • Best places/opportunities to Knock out an opponent whilst Whistling.

 

  • Where to Perform 5 Split Jumps.

 

  • Where to destroy 50 Light Sources.

 

  • Where to grab 10 guards whilst they switch the lights on.

 

Now I am not playing in this particular way just for a challenge. The list above is for reason, which is for the trophies and the words highlighted in bold implicate a criteria for a particular trophy.

 

I read your Trophy Guide & Roadmap and it says that you should be targeting the 'No Alarms', 'Do not use Primary Fire of your Assault Rifle' and 'Complete the game without dying' trophies during your Normal Difficulty Playthrough. This Guide tells me to get those trophies during your Hard Playthrough. What should I do?

Yes it does look like I am contradicting myself here but the whole purpose of a Trophy Rush Guide is to earn as many of the game's trophies as possible within a single playthrough. Now should target the game's hardest trophies during your Hard Playthrough, well, it's entirely up to you but Hard Mode is not that hard if you play the game stealthily. If you don't feel confident, then follow this Walkthrough during your Normal Mode Playthrough.

 

I see that this guide has videos for each level and written content. What are its benefits?

First of all, every one of the videos were done by myself and what you see on the written side is exactly what happens in the videos. This is a stealth game so timing and positioning is pivotal, therefore, attempting to put into writing of how to do this can be slightly awkward. The best way to illustrate how to guide you through this game is via the video format so watching the videos is highly recommended. However, for those who do not have strong internet connection or are using a mobile device then the written guide may be more appealing. The written guide is handy for a quick reference so if you need refreshing on what to do or just see what trophies you will earn in a particular level, then the written guide is much more efficient. Finally the Written Guide takes into account what you should do in your second playthrough. The videos do not cover this so look out for the Red Text and it will tell you what trophies to get on your second playthrough.

Mission is Good for: Not much, it simply just eases you into the game.

Although this is still an official mission, it also acts as a training course whereby the game will slowly drop you into the world of Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. The first phase of this level is very straight forward, simply follow what the game prompts you to do until you encounter a guard who will be sat down. The game will ask you to shoot out the light but ignore this, it is more convenient to walk up right behind him and grab him then trace your steps back and knock him out in a shadowed area. Continue forwards, the game will automatically save your progress, be wary of the mines on the floor and then you will soon approach a narrow alley. The game will ask you to perform a split jump by double tapping :triangle:. Once you do this, press :circle: to drop down and then perform a split jump again. Do this five times and you then earn Athletic Tendencies (1/36).

 

Now jump up into the house and cut through until you found yourself back outside, the game will automatically save your progress. Now slowly make your way into the river and right in front of your there will be a light on the wall. Shoot it out with your pistol and then head left down the river. As you move you will see another light on the bridge, shoot that out and then very carefully and slowly make your way down the river. Once you reach a waterwheel, head right and the game will save automatically. Now sneak up to the guard who has back turned to you and grab him. Interrogate him, whilst doing that, head to your left where there is a shadowy area. Once there simply knock him out. In doing so this will automatically draw out a guard to investigate and as soon as you see him, head forwards staying within the shadowed area, go right up to the house and whistle. Take a step back and wait for the guard to walk right over to where you are and as soon as he turns his back, go right behind him and knock him out. Head out into the light, to your right is a pipe which you can climb then head up it and over the wall in order to finish this part of the level.

 

Head forward and make your way up two sets of ladders to reach the embassy's exterior. Hug the wall and make your way round, heading past the guard who looks out of the window then stay put on the corner. Lambert will tell you to wait and you will see that inside is the game's main antagonist having a conversation about Shetland. As soon as he exits the room, exit cover and approach the window where guard is stood and take the cover there. Shimmy to the right and switch covers passed the door. Then continue around the embassy's exterior and you will encounter a pipe, then the game will then prompt you to 'Climb out'. Do so then shimmy along the rooftop and drop down onto a balcony.

 

Sneak very gently through the open window and into a small room, where your contact is being interrogated. immediately to your right there is a light switch. Turn it off and the guard will walk over to turn it back on, soon as he does grab him from behind and knock him out for Surprise! 1/10. Have a conversation with your contact in order to complete your objective, as soon as the conversation with Lambert comes to a close, exit the room to your right.

 

On the hallway there will be a guard stood still overlooking a balcony, go right up behind him, whistle and then immediately knock him out - you do not have to do this, but it will help you with your 100 whistles and knockouts trophy. Now turnaround and head down the corridor. You will encounter some stairs, shoot the light out above. Guards will now investigate from down bellow as consequence of your actions. Head down the steps but only down the first set then stop and whistle. In doing so this will make a guard come up the stairs, soon as his back's turned, knock him out. Then proceed down the stairs, at the bottom, straight ahead of you is a light, shoot it out. Then turn left, and there will be another on. Shoot that out, and then that will draw another guard to investigate. As soon as he is near you, stand in the corner of where you shot out the second light, whistle to draw him over and then knock him. Hopefully, the second guard will have come over to investigate as well, repeat same process, whistle to draw him right over and then knock him out. Note: There is a small chance that a second guard may not come over after shooting the second light out, he may well just stay crouched down on the other side of the room. If that is the case, then simply advanced towards him and then shoot out the lights on your left. What this will is it will then draw him over.

 

As soon as the area is clear, head to the other side and on your far left is a hallway. Run down here and to your right is a door which will bring you back outside. Lambert will radio in and tell you to follow the spotlight. Do so in order to make your way to the other side of the courtyard. When you are at the other side, look to your right and there is a door. Enter, quietly climb the stairs and once at the top, grab and knockout the guard who overlooks the balcony but be sure to shoot out the lights in order to hide his body. Make your way to the room on your left and have a conversation with Ingram to complete your objective. Once done, exit via the room's window (you will have to open it) then head left, zipping down to the ground floor. Proceed forwards into a large area of darkness, there will be a guard nearby. Whistle to draw him over and then knock him out. Now straight ahead of you there are two lights above, shoot both of them out and upon shooting the second one it will cause the guard to investigate, and then simply open fire on him and kill him. Make sure his body is hidden then climb the two watchtowers that are nearby to switch off the power. Once this is done continue forwards until you reach a boat, walk onto it to complete the mission and you will earn Emissary (2/36) and Sleep Overs (3/36).

Mission is Good for: Grabbing and knocking out guards whilst they switch the lights on, there are 3 opportunities to boost your tally. Furthermore this mission is also good for sounding 2 alarms and completing the level, however you should target this one during your second playthrough.

Straight in front of you there will be a ladder, climb down and continue forwards till you encounter a small light on a barrel. Shoot out this light, then a guard will come and investigate. Lurk nearby and when the guard gets near you, knock him out. Progress, you will then see a train, climb aboard at the first opportunity, sneak down and you will see a light on a barrel. Shoot it out, then climb over the barrels, to your right there will be another light, shoot that out and this will draw over some guards. Hug the back of the first seat to your right and wait patiently whilst 2 guards investigate, they will come right up towards you but as long as your back is right up against the seat near where you shot out the light you will be safe. Wait for them to walk away from you then one of the guards will come back up on his own and as soon as he walks passed you he will stop with his back turned, this is your opportunity to sneak behind and knock him out. For the second guard, whistle and then quickly go down the train, soon as you pass the open doorway which is on your left, wait for the guard to enter then creep up behind him and knock him out.

 

Progress and you will encounter a room which is engulfed in flames. Above you there are some valves, shoot them out in order to extinguish the flames. On the other side of the room is a door, to the left is a light switch, switch the lights off and open the door. In the next room, use your thermals to determine the whereabouts of a guard. Wait until he is relatively near and then whistle to draw him over. Backtrack to the previous room and wait for the guard to come over but as soon as it's safe to re-enter the room, do so then knock him out from behind.

 

Make your way through the room, there will be a door near the computer, switch the lights off and then open the door. Now, in this room wait until the guard is walking away from the door that you just opened, then switch off the lights via the switch just to your right. He will then turn round and walk over to turn them back on again. Wait nearby then as soon as he turns them back on, grab him and drag him to the previous room and knock him out for Surprise! 2/10. Re-enter the room and wait till the final guard walks over to the cubicle/computer nearest to you, then switch off the lights again, he will then come over to turn them back on, soon as he does, like before grab him and knock him out for Surprise! 3/10.

 

Turn off the lights then make your way to the single door on the other side of the room, through this door, pick lock the door on your left and then take the door on your left in the following room. Now into a rather large room, dash over to the far corner and wait until a group of 3 guards come in and as soon as they are stationed, sneak through the doorway they entered then take a left through a set of double doors. Now it may be wise to SAVE YOUR GAME as this is quite a precarious situation. On the room to your right, there will be two guards attempting to break the computers, you will need to deal with these two guards efficiently. Make your way to the doorway and your first guard will be right in front of your, use your laser aim with your pistol and perform a head shot - you will have about 4 seconds to nail this before he notices. Now enter the room and the final guard will be on the other side. Again try to make a head shot, much more difficult but helpful if you can but he notices you, just open fire on him and kill him. It is vital that these kills are performed rapidly otherwise because as soon as they spot you, there is a chance that you will die.

 

Switch off the room's lights and ensure that the bodies are hidden in a darkened area. Now use one of the computers in order to complete your objectives. In doing so, a timer will begin, exit the room and progress down the corridor. Round the corner, there will be two guards, shoot out the nearest light above, then stand in the newly darkened area and whistle. This draw out one of the guards to have a look, soon as he falls for your trap, knock him out. Now there is one more guard left, he will be stood still so take your time and make a head shot using the laser of your pistol. Pick lock the door to your left, inside this room is the bomb, defuse it to complete your objective. Make sure both bodies are hidden in a darkened area, before progressing down the corridor to the second part of the level.

 

Make your way up the stairs but sneak cautiously passed a wall mine. Once you are at the top of the stairs, open the single door and immediately shoot out the light above in the next room. In quickly make your way round the corridor and you will see a group of 3 guards. Fire a smoke grenade at them, this will more than likely deal with 2 of them and other will just walk off. After shooting out the light you must be very quick in selecting the smoke grenade from your innovatory, any delay will consequently prevent you from dealing with the guards therefore it may take 2 or 3 attempts to get right. Hide the two bodies in a darkened area, then pick lock the double doors right in front of you. If you have enough bullets, shoot out all of the lights in this hallway, if you do not have that much ammo, then just shoot out half of the lights. Open the door on your left then shoot the camera is placed in the centre of the room, in doing this you will draw out a guard. Now when he enters in the room, stand so that the door remains open and whistle to draw him over. If you did not shoot out all of the lights, he will see you and come over and investigate but if the corridor is dark then you will have to whistle in order for him to walk over to where you are. Either way as soon as he comes near your position, knock him out when he's back is turned. Now re-enter the room and shoot out the two cameras which are to your left and right respectively. Finally there should be one more camera to your right just above the computer, when dealt with, use the computer to complete your objectives.

 

Exit the room the way you entered and use the pin code: Exit the room the way you entered and use the Pin Code: 2457 on the adjacent door. In the next room switch off the light and then hold position in the bottom left-hand corner. A guard will come back in to turn it back on, when he does grab then him from behind and knock him out for Surprise! 4/10. Exit the room from where the guard entered and then slowly sneak up the corridor - do not move to fast, as there is a wall mine nearby. Take the door on your left, equip your camera jammer and use it to bypass the camera, this will also help for You can't see me 1/5. Once at the top of the stairs, shoot out the light and then open the door to your left. Hold position and wait for one of the guards to sit down at the computer. The other guard will walk just to the right of you down a short hallway, following him down and knock him out. To your right is a door, use the Pin Code: 7562 to enter.

 

In this room a cutscene will begin, after this head to the steamy room. Use your thermals and you will be able to pick out a gun turret, switch it off and this help you with Exponential Heat 1/5. Proceed forwards and pick lock the door to your left enter the next room and SAVE YOUR GAME. To your left you can drop down and hang off the railings. Shimmy all the way along and bypass the team of guards. Be wary of the steam, as this will cause significant health loss, so be patient and time your movements. Climb up on the other side and sneak into the next room, taking the first door on your left. In here, to your right is a vent, climb into it and crawl along, there will be an opening to your left drop down, then have a chat with your contact. After this, climb back into the vent and look bellow there will be a valve with steam coming out of it, shoot it and this will save François and therefore earn you Warranty Period (4/36). On your second playthrough, do not do anything, so do not shoot the valve and you will earn Recall Rejected. Continue along the vent and drop out and run to extraction in order complete the mission. By completing this mission you will earn Encephalon Exchange (5/36).

This mission is relatively short when compared to most Splinter Cell Missions, in theory it should take eight or nine minutes. You are going to need to complete it in under 15 and you will then earn Fisher Express (6/36).

 

At the start drop down the hatch directly in front of you and continue forwards into the next carriage. Hold position in the centre of the room and whistle, which will bring over an unarmed personnel. Once in striking distance knock him out and continue forwards. You will discover hatch on the floor, open it up and you drop out underneath the train, climb along the pole till you discover another hatch, open it up, and you will be inside the train.

 

Open the sliding door to your left, do not exit but instead manipulate the camera and you will see a guard stood nearby. Wait until he returns to his seat, go through the door and just to your left will be a light switch. Switch the lights off and make your way into the carriage. A passenger will walk right up near you, knock him out ASAP and continue down the darkened carriage.

 

Go through a couple of doors and then you will reach a smoked blue door that leads into the next carriage. Hold position as you will hear a member of staff talking about a noisy passenger, wait till the conversation is over before entering. Hug the wall to your right, then switch covers in order go by without being noticed by the passenger. Now go pass a door and the following after that open it up and have a conversation with Soth. Soon afterwards he will leave and as soon as he does, use a computer and exit the small room. Continue upwards through some more doors and into the next carriage. Here hold position in the shadowed area and equip your mic. Listen in to Soth's telephone call and once it is over, veer to the right and wait behind the counter. Count as two guards exit the carriage, then exit the counter and sneak pass the stationary guard and into the next carriage. In here climb the ladder which will take you onto the roof of the train. Now just simply run forwards (do not hesitate) and extract via the helicopter, which you can do by climbing a rope. In completing this mission you will earn The Great Train Insertion (7/36).

Mission is Good for: Cleaning up on headshots, during the period when you are underground, fatality is allowed and therefore paves way for a good chance to complete all headshots. Furthermore the opening half of the mission provides an excellent opportunity to whistle and knockout guards.

Soon as the mission starts, start running forwards and head up the steps. Staying within the shadows wait for a guard to walk by, he will then turn left and walk away from you. Go right up to the wall which is just to your right then whistle, allow him to investigate and then knock him out. Head down the path where he came from, down here; look for a door to your right and above it will be a light so shoot it out. By the time you've shot out the light, an officer will arrive and investigate the sudden loss of light. Wait until he comes near then knock him out, now proceed down the path.

 

Head down the steps into a small courtyard then head left and then veer right, towards the wall in front of you. To your left will be another pathway where an officer will appear from, when you see him, whistle and he will come over to where you are, as soon as he arrives knock him out. You might want to shoot out the light which is just above the door to the right, if the body happens to be illuminated from the light. Once you are happy, head through passage where the officer came from and you will find yourself in another small yard where there are 2 unarmed civilians. Just before you enter the yard, whistle and this will draw one them over to where you. Now knock him soon as he enters the shadowed area then repeat the same trick for the second civilian but before you whistle, make sure the first body is out of sight (maybe move him into the corner of the yard, well out of the way). With the yard clear, make your way to the other side, take a right and climb the pipe which fixed in the corner.

 

In climbing this pipe, you will then grab onto a zipline which will lead you to the next area. Once there, drop back down to ground level then continue forwards to another courtyard. If you have been quick enough, there will be an officer and civilian having a conversation in the middle. Quickly shoot out the two lights that are above to darken the area. Be careful though because if you do not make it to this area quickly, then the civilian will have finished his conversation and walk towards you. Either way, just before when shooting and make sure that no one is at proximity otherwise your cover will be blown. Now, sneak off to the right, between some crates and the wall, then on your right you will be able to enter a small hold and on your right will be some steps. Head down them and your contact will be held at gunpoint by two thieves. The first one you will be able to see as you reach the bottom of the steps. Equip your pistol and use your laser sight then very quickly make a headshot kill, you will need to do this pretty quickly before he notices your presence. Once he is dead, make your way down the steps and into the hideout. Look left, the second thief will grab hold of the contact, take your time and using your laser aim to make a headshot with your pistol.

 

Once the area is safe, shoot out the light in the corner and engage in a chat with your contact. In doing so he will reveal the assault rifle, pick it up along with some sticky shockers and airfoil. Now exit back to the darkened courtyard and there will be an officer patrolling. In your own time, whistle to draw him over and then knock him out from behind and then exit the courtyard. Head down the path until you find some steps, do not go down them as there is an officer down there talking to a civilian. Instead, shoot out the light to your right, this will not tempt the officer to come up the steps just yet but he will start patrolling. Head left to a narrow alley and whistle. Back out and wait for the officer to walk near the alley and then knock him out.

 

Go down the steps, hug the wall to your left and then switch covers to bypass the ever so watchful civilian. Continue down the path, making your way down two sets of steps and then hold position in a shadowy area and wait for a civilian to walk passed before continuing. Head round the corner and shoot out the light. Now shooting out the light will prematurely end a conversation between the two police officers, one of them will walk of first, he he does, whistle in order to attract the second officer. Knock him out as soon as he walks over and then whilst crouched head round the corner, move quickly to catch up with the officer who walked off first. When close enough, whistle in a shadowy area, hopefully you will be close enough to make him turn back around, then when he walks over knock him out. Now keep heading down the street, if you have moved pretty quickly then you might not see another officer who walks out into your path. He will come from the right and continue walking away from you. In order to avoid any complications, hold position in the shadowed area as soon as you approach a path which is to your right. Follow the officer right to the end of the pathway, then whistle near the wall to your left and then knock him out. In the far left, corner is a small pathway, head down it and to your right is a pipe climb it. Once at the top head forwards, you will have some more climbing to do, and then to your left will be a zipline. Use this to make your way to the other side and once there, you can then grapple back down to the ground floor.

 

You now have to do some escorting which is easy enough because no matter what you do she will not die, have a chat with her and after this conversation she will open the gate. Now exit and head forwards. You must move quick though, head up the street and to your left will be a lamp, shoot the light out and continue forwards. You will encounter a tunnel, shoot out the light above it and then move through the tunnel. Do not exit it just yet, wait till your contact walks passed and wait to see if anyone comes up to investigate the broken light. If someone does, then they will also enter the tunnel therefore you will have to deal with them. Once it's safe, continue forwards and in the shadowy area, to your right are some bins. Head to them and whistle, this will draw over a guard, knock him out soon as he approaches.

Now catch up with your contact then head down a narrow alley, turn left and she will be stood stationary. Move just to the left of her and you will see an officer in the light, whistle and he will investigate. Knock him out and head down where he came from through the stalls. On the other side, turn left and hold position at the top of the steps. Wait till your contact arrives and then head down the steps. Sneak over to the pillars as there is a civilian on the other side who will hear you if you walk too heavily. Start switching from cover to cover. Once you have made your way to a darkened alley, wait for your contact to catch up. Let her go ahead of you and she will speak to an officer, as soon as they start talking, whistle and the officer will walk over then knock him out when he arrives.

 

Now quickly catch up with your contact, she will be walking alongside an officer. Keep moving till the last port of shadowed-off area and whistle to enable him to turn round and investigate, knock him out when he falls for your trap. Now make your way round the corner and you will see your contact having a discussion with an officer, just wait and she will deal with him. Then continue down the pathway, you will clock an officer stood near the steps. Wait until he walks underneath an archway to your right, follow him, he will divert to the left out of the archway. Continue forwards to a shadowy area, an officer will come round the corner, whistle to draw him over, then knock him out. Continue round the alley where the officer came from, on your left will be a pipe, climb it and head through a window leading into the house. Sneak through the house gently, into the living room and out of the window.

 

Once on the house's exterior, head left and climb a few ledges in order to proceed forwards. At the end you will be able to zip down the building, which will return you back to the ground. Whist zipping down, your contact will be talking to an officer which will allow you to get down and to sneak away from them. Sneak down the alley and wait for your contact to go passed, she will head out in the light and distract another officer. Meanwhile, sneak behind the officer and open the railed door to your left. Carry on moving and take the first open door on your right. As soon as you enter right in front of you will be some sticky shockers on a crate. Climb the stairs, on the first floor, right on the windowsill there are some more goodies, head up to the second floor and scavenge the pistol ammo. Note: Please get the sticky shocker, airfoils and ammo because you will need these for the next phase of the level. Exit the building enter the next door, in here is an elevator, go inside and wait. Lambert will give an instruction to kill the contact, shoot her in the head and make the kill quickly before the elevator starts for Amorality (8/36). On your second playthrough do not kill her, just remain in the lift and you will earn Accomplice.

 

Now we are about to enter a real battle zone, it is strongly advisable that you SAVE YOUR GAME. As soon as the elevator opens, sticky shock the guard in front of you and then sticky shock the other guard who is there. You must do these in quick succession. Otherwise you will die. Quickly shoot out the light above you and wait, in about seven seconds a guard will come sprinting round the corner and when he does, fire an airfoil at him then knock him whilst he is dazed. Now head out onto the gangway, turn left and keep moving till you approach some steps. Sneak down these, once at the bottom, keep to the left and stop when you are in a shadowy area. On your second playthrough start making clean headshots with your assault rifle and you should earn One Kill and One Shot.... Now two guards will patrol, one will stop right near you, whilst the other walks passed you. Wait for him to walk back, when goes round the corner, make a headshot using your laser on your pistol. Soon as he drops, the other guard will run over to the body before he raises alarm, airfoil him then dash over and knock him out. Now continue forwards.

 

As you approach a corner, wait until a guard circles round then fire an airfoil at him before dashing over and knocking him out. Continue in the direction that he was going and take the archway which will soon appear directly in front of you. Now sneak out off the archway and onto the railed floor then sneak back inside the archway, this will now trigger the guard's patrol. One will come out to your right, wait till he gets to the corner of the room and sticky shock him. As soon as he drops, whistle and this interest a guard on your left. As he approaches he will rush over to the body, when he does run out and knock him out. Now make your way into the glassed room at the centre. On your right will be an object, pick this up to complete your objective and you will also earn Biological Warfare (9/36). Now sneak passed the archway and head to where the first guard that you dealt with came from, which will take you to another archway. You will now encounter another guard stood stationary with his back turned, grab him and knock him out. Remove his body and hide it in the previous room, now return to the archway where he was and go to the far left corner. Whistle and this will bring out another guard. He should enter the tunnel and tunnel, when he does, knock him out. Exit the archway and keep right up next the wall on your left. Get your pistol out as you approach a corner, slowly move away from the wall and you will see a guard stood there. Very gently keep shifting to your right until you have a clear headshot, when you do, then use your laser sight and make the kill. Now walk the dead body and sneak down and slowly make your way to the wall on your right. Don't worry about the guard down at the other end, your main concern is the one to your right. Get relatively close and make a head shot with your pistol and laser sight. Sneak over his body and enter the lift.

 

Exit the elevator and shoot out the first two light above you. In your newly darkened area, whistle to draw over an officer and knock him out when he arrives. Proceed forwards and keep going till the shadows ends, once you have got as far as you have, whistle to draw over an officer and knock him out when he enters the shadowed area. Enter underneath the scaffolding to your right and when you come out on the other side, slowly make your way to the other shadowy area. Once there, there is a guard to your left, grab him and knock him out. To your right is another guard, knock him out too and then you head left down a small alley, for extraction. For completing the mission you will get Shaliah (10/36).

Run forwards until you reach an old friend and to the left of him you can zip down the cliff. Continue forwards briefly towards a tent and take a right. Immediately hold position in the shadowy area just to your right and wait for a guard to walk out. When he does he will stand quite close to where you are, now make a headshot with the laser sight on your pistol. Hide his body and forwards alongside the nearby tent. Reach its corner and a guard will appear, stay in the shadowed area then whistle to draw him over so you can knock him out. Continue forwards, head passed the truck to your right and you will encounter a two guards walking towards you. Stick to the left and slowly make your way pass them and furthermore, use your thermals. Using your heat thermals will illuminate the trip wires but be sure not to trip any of these off, otherwise you will die. Progress forward, keep to the left, after passing around 3-trip wires, dart over to the far right and sneak past another guard who will be walking towards you. When you are past him veer to the left but double check that the guard has his back turned against you before you make your move. Keep moving and run passed the truck and you then approach a large hanger.

 

Go right up to the open door and hold position just to the left of it. Two guards will have a conversation, when it comes to a close, enter the hanger, head and up the ladder which is near the corner of the room. At the top there is a switch, turn it off and the hanger will go pitch black. Above the ladder that you just climbed there is a pipe, jump up and grab onto it. Make your way to the other side of the hanger and once you are above the plane's wing, drop down. Now go over to the plane and plant some explosives, and then make your way back to the ladder, near is a table which has sticky shocker, pick it up and then exit the hanger through the other side. Cut across to the other side, through the partly open door, sneak to the right and climb onto the crates. Go as far as you can and wait for the two nearby guards to finish their conversation. One will walk straight passed you, drop down and knock him out. Turn around and lurk right near the hut of where the other guard is positioned. When his back is turned, go inside and turn off the light. Stand opposite the switch and wait for him to turn the lights back on and when he does, grab him and knock him out for Surprise! 5/10.

 

Behind you, press the button to raise the gates then exit the hut and proceed forwards. Take cover by the fencing which is propped up against the wall to your left. Wait there until a guard walks down with a dog, now proceed forwards very slowly until you encounter a tent. Head inside and hold position at its exit. There are two guards having a chat, soon, one will leave and the other will stay. Sneak behind him, grab him, take him back to the tents and knock him out. Exit the tent, head, left and climb the ladder of the watch tower. Once at the top there is a guard, wait until his back is turned before you climb up then knock him out and use the zipline to make your way to the next part of the level.

 

Continue forwards quietly, move to your right in the shadowed off area where you will notice 4 people will meet and have a chat. When the conversation comes to a close, two will go off, and the other two will remain in this area. Wait until one of the guards approaches the steps on the other side and as soon as he does whistle. The noise will then draw both guards over, knock them out soon as they enter the shadowy area. If only one comes over, then obviously whistle again. Now to catch up with the other two, please bear in mind that if you lag behind too much, then it will result in mission failure. Head up the steps and on the other side, from where you are, sneak through the passageway till you catchup. Follow them through a single door and sneak through the wooden hideout, till you return outside. The two of them will have a chat with a guard, fire a sticky cam at the door in order to eavesdrop on their conversation. They might reveal a code for the door if not, then it will happen later on (it's different every time you play the game). Once they move on, whistle to bring the other guard over to your darkened area then knock him out.

 

Now enter the single door where the guard was stood, cut through the small room and return outside though another single door. Quietly catch up with them and keep a safe distance to them. Follow them through another door but this time let them go and wait for a while, then shoot out the light to your right. If they have not revealed the code yet, then use a sticky cam to eavesdrop on their conversation. After they leave, a guard will walk nearby, he will clock that the light is out where you are, and consequently he will walk inside to have a look. When he arrives, knock him out and exit through where he entered. Sneak to the right and slowly make your way towards a plant, just before it, whistle and a guard will come over. Meanwhile hide right on top of the plant then when the guard comes over, exit and knock him out. Hide his body then proceed forwards, equip your pistol as a dog will come charging towards you; kill him before he kills you. Do not worry if his body is in any light, because this will cause an alarm.

 

Proceed to where the dog ran from and head through the single door to your left. If you have yet to hear the code, then this is the last chance of where it could be, so if it has not been revealed, fire a sticky cam to eavesdrop. Once the conversation ends, shoot out the TV so guard will come inside to investigate, knock him out as soon as he enters the darkened room. Now there is one more guard right over the other side, nice trick is to shine your laser from your pistol on him. When he notices it, he will come over to where you are to investigate then knock him out. Head inside the hanger and take the ladder to the next part of the level.

Sneak along the short passage and wait for the guard to appear and as soon as he turns round to walk off, knock him out. Shoot out the light above, and then make your way round the corner and about halfway down, head right up to the railing on your right. Whistle, this make a guard who is on the level bellow come up the stairs and investigate. Knock him out and head down the nearby steps. Take the door opposite the steps and sneak up some more stairs. At the top is a switch, turn off the lights and wait for a guard to turn them back on again, when he does grab him and take him midway down the stairs then knock him out for Surprise! 6/10. Now turn the lights off again and wait for the guard who patrols on the right-hand side to walk towards you. When he starts walking away, follow him and knock him out, do not worry if the other people in the room move about, they will not raise an alarm. Once he has been dealt with, exit the room via the door in the far right corner. In the next room, use the switch to your left, what this will do is interest a guard from the other room. As soon as he enters the room that you are in, exit via the open door to the right of the switch. Sneak down and guard will walk out into your path so be cautious of this! Catch up with him then grab and knock him out. Look behind you as the guard who went into the engine room will return, wait for him to take up his post on the other side of the room. Shoot out the light between the two shelves and make your way to the other side of the room. Once there get close to the guard and make a headshot kill. Talk to your contact use the Pin Code: 0623 on the door, head inside and climb the ladder.

 

At the top, wait for a few seconds and then exit back outside. Now turn left and hold position right on the corner. Manipulate your camera and wait for the two guards to walk off. When they do, walk around the corner and climb the pipe to your left. Run along the roof until you reach a hatch, open it up and drop down into the shooting range. Wait for the guard who is most further away from you to walk away to the open doorway, then shoot out the lamp on the bottom left, this should not cause any distractions. After that, sneak up to the guard who is practising his shooting, then calmly move back whilst holding him hostage. The guard will come over to investigate as he draws nearer, make a headshot and then knock out your human shield. continue forwards heading to the open door, shoot out the light just to the right and enter. Immediately shoot out the light above the door, this will not curtail the guard here from practising his combat skills, go right behind, whistle and perform an immediate knockout on him. Now continue through the corridors but do not exit just yet to the outside. Instead whistle to draw one of the guards inside so you can knock him out, then whistle again and repeat the same process to knock out the final guard. Exit, bear left and run to the far side. There is a gun turret, switch it off and in doing so it will help with Exponential Heat 2/5.

 

Behind you is a door open it and head inside. Here you want to shoot out the two light sources and then open the other and wait for a guard to walk nearby. Whistle if need be, he will then come into the room then knock him out and then exit through the way he came from but watch out for the spotlight. Make your way over to the far right, weave through the crates and look towards the house's front doors. A guard will appear, sticky shock him and then climb onto the wooden platform. Go to main doors and enter the Pin Code: 1492 to gain access. Inside, turn right and sneak into Sadono's office, stay put in the left hand corner then wait for him to exit the office. When he does, quickly shoot out the two lights above you and also the one on his desk. After this, go to his desk and use the laptop to complete your objective. Now exit the office and head left down the corridor, sneak along, do not freak out when Fisher gets electrocuted as it is nothing to worry about because it will not cause any damage. Sneak outside and open the door, only to be greeted by armed guards. The guards will be momentarily distracted and soon as they turnaround, then that is your cue to run to the extraction. Completing this level will earn you Refined Communications (11/36).

Carefully sneak through the jungle, veering off to the left and you will find a small base. Enter and cut through till your find an open door. Stand at this door and shoot out the nearby light that is outside, then make your way forwards towards another open door. Now look back and make sure the two guards are not looking in your direction, if they are then fire a bullet in order to distract them then sneak through the door and slowly make your way round and pass the guards who are sat down at the table. Keep to the far right and sneak into the barracks directly in front of you. Keep sneaking, exit via the open door on your left and head straight across towards a narrow alley. Perform a split jump, you will then be able to climb inside another hideout, once there look for a squared shaped hole in the corner and then drop down to ground level. Carefully sneak outside, keeping close to the crates, there will guard firing liberally, do not worry it is not intended for you, he is just practising. Take cover against the crate at the far end, switch cover and hold position until the guard ceases fire. He will walk past you, when he does sneak alongside and in the far left-hand corner is a pipe. Climb it, and then use the line at the top to reach the roof of the building on the other side. Drop down, open the hatch to enter the hideout and immediately put on your thermals. You will now see the lasers, dodge them and make your way to the far end to where there is a ladder. Climb down it making your way into the lift, heading down to the secret complex.

 

Exit the elevator and on your left is a light switch, turn it off and wait for a guard to come to it back on then soon as he does grab and knock him out. Switch the lights off again, another guard will come out and notice that they are off, grab and knock him like before, these two will contribute to Surprise! 7/10 Now find a set of double doors which will take you into a control room and in here will be a technician so run up and grab, interrogate and take him over to the computer and make him raise the submarine. After it has been raised, knock him out and exit the control room. Back on the corridor head right and open the door which will now be unlocked.

 

Now quickly charge up the steps, at the far end is a door, turn the lights off next to it and open the door. There is a guard through here, whistle to grab his attention and when he enters, knock him out. Run along the gangway, all the way round till you reach a lift set it off but do not enter it, instead drop down and hang off the ledge then drop down to the cable, and then Sam will automatically ride the cable to the other side, drop down again to ride the following cable. You will then return to the platform, head forwards quietly and you will come across a guard. When he passes, knock him out and then make your way onto the submarine.

 

Climb down two sets of ladders, sneak to the corner and wait for a guard to walk towards you. He will get pretty close, but he will then stop and turnaround, when does that go right up to him and knock him out. Hide his body near the ladder and continue through the sliding door. In here are some guards sleeping, quietly sneak your way through the room to the other side. Look for a ladder, climb down it and then hug wall. Change covers once you are near the open doorway and turn off the light. The guard will come to turn it back on, when he does, grab him and knock him out. Cut through the canteen and head inside a small room. Wait in the far right-hand corner opposite the door that you have just entered and a guard will arrive. Grab him but do not knock him out just yet. Instead drag him from where he came from, and you will find a retinal scanner, the game will prompt you to use it. When the door opens, head round the corner and knockout the guard before you enter. Stay right in the corner of the control room, just next to the door and wait for a guard to leave. When he does, follow him out and knock him out, then return to the control. In doing so, knock out the guard who is standing at the computer and then look for a small room at the back. In here will be a computer, use it to complete your objectives. Now to vacate the submarine, exit the control and head right, there will be a ladder which you can climb, this will take you back to the top of the submarine.

 

Cross over the bridge and hold position around three-quarters down. Wait for a guard to come charging up and then sticky shock him. Head down the steps where he came from before you do pick up the ammo and grenades from the crate just opposite. You do not need to go right to the bottom, just wait till the guards start shooting, then that is your cue to quickly turnaround and make your way back up the stairs. Head back onto the bridge and fire a smoke grenade at the guards that closest to you who are down bellow, then equip your pistol and shoot the barrel at the far end. In theory this should deal with everyone bar one guard, head all the way down the steps and hug the wall to the right of the open door. Simply shoot the barrel of where there is one last guard, and then the area will be clear. Be careful of the flames and run all the way down. To your right will be a ladder, go it and land on a boat for extraction. Completing this level will earn you Under Metal Cover (12/36).

Start off by dropping down the rooftops to make your way onto ground level, then turn right and you will see a civilian standing still. To your left is a light, shoot it out then attack the civilian. To the right of where he was is a box on the wall, shoot it out in order to cut off the street power. The lack of light will interest two more civilians, knock them out as they approach. Now head down the street, as you come closer to the corner, whistle to draw out a guard, and then proceed a little more and wait for him to arrive, so you can knock him out. Around the corner is a swinging light, shoot it out and in theory this should cause another guard to come and have a look. If not then whistle and as soon as he enters the alley, backtrack round the corner and whistle again. When he comes round knock him out, then do this again for one more guard. After he has been dealt with, there should be one last guard, tempt him over by whistling, when he is in your eye line then fire an airfoil at him and run over to knock him out. Make sure all the bodies are well hidden then run out into the open and make your way around the bus. Continue running and there will small control room to your right which has some goodies in, pick lock the door to retrieve them.

 

Now make your way back round the bus and on your left will be a shop which has a door that you can pick lock. Once inside, cut through to make your back outside and head left towards two-patrolling guards. One will stay back whilst the other will advance near you, you will pretty much be in darkness so just plan your attack carefully and then move on to the next guard. Now for the final guard just whistle to bring him over because if you just sneak over to him you then be exposed to the light, which may result in you being spotted. Once the area is clear, raid the two nearby cabins for some goodies and head to the far side. In the corner is a fence which you can climb that will take you over to the other side.

 

Sneak forwards, equip your pistol and there will be a light directly in front of you so wait until a guard walks passed it and then shoot it out. Shooting out the light will draw over two guards, knock them out when they arrive in your darkened area if they do not come over then whistle to draw their attention. Once they have been dealt with then head over to the van and nearby will be a manhole, climb down the ladder to enter sewers.

 

Look above you and shoot out the light to darken the area. If you look to your right there is a small passageway which will take you out of the water, now hold position and lookout for a guard on the other side. As soon as you see him, whistle to draw him over and when he does, knock him out. Make your way to where the guard was patrolling, keep moving down till you see another passage to your left. Shoot out the light directly above and equip your camera jammer to bypass the camera in the passage, this will help you with: You can't see me 2/5. Once you have passed the camera, do not enter the water, hug the wall to your right and manipulate your camera till you see a guard walking up. He will come pretty close and stop, soon as he turns round, run out and knock him out. Now head down and up the ladder to exit the sewers. Now you're outside, SAVE YOUR GAME then put on your thermals and you will notice there are some mines to your left. You are going to have to hurdle these so make your way to the far left wall and wait for the spotlight to go right up to the mines. When it does, this is your cue to run and make your jump of faith. Once you have cleared the mines, charge forwards, staying near the wall then veer right and climb over the fence. Continue forwards, there will a door which you will have to pick lock, enter through the door and knockout the guard who has he's back turned to you. Now turn on the lights and then turn them off with a switch next to the open door. The guard will come in to turn them back on, when he does, grab him for Surprise! 8/10 There is one more guard, switching the lights off for a second time might work or might not. If it does not, then whistle to draw him in and then knock him out. Now head outside there are two-gun turrets which you can turn off which will contribute to Exponential Heat 3/5. Now make your way to the left of the building, you can climb the exterior and then make your way onto the roof. Up there you will find a cracked window, shoot the window to break it fully and then zip down inside. Once inside, sneak round to the reception, there will be a guard there so knock him out quickly before he starts he's patrol then head inside the elevator which located at the far side.

 

Exit, the lift and head left but do not go right round the corner. Instead, wait for the guards which you can see down the corridor to turn round and disappear before you sneak down. Head through the double doors and as you head down the corridor, there will be two pillars to your right, where you can perform a split jump. Do so then jump up and head inside a vent. Travel briefly and you will find yourself in a conference room, sneak to the middle to where there is a pipe directly above. Jump up onto it and crawl along till you pass a drum kit which will be just bellow. Soon as you are in line with the drum kit, is then you cue to drop down onto the ground, when you do, quickly enter crouch mode and run round behind the boarding to discover a door. Open the door, turn left and taking the adjacent single door into a recording studio. In here turn right and turn off the lights, a guard who is nearby will spring up to turn them back on again. Sneak behind him and grab him soon as he turns them back on for Surprise! 9/10. Wait for a second then exit the room, head down the corridor and through the door in the end, in here will be a sticky shocker for you to retrieve. Exit the small room and take the door on your right where Ingrid will be waiting. Have a conversation with her before exiting the room and then follow her up the corridor? Allow her to go through the double doors, hang back and she will distract the guards. Whilst she is talking to them, head through the double doors and to make your way left, in front of you is a turret, turn it off for Exponential Heat 4/5. Continue forwards, around the corridor, make sure you are sneaking because you will encounter a guard who has his back turned. Grab him and then proceed forwards round the corner to the lift where you originally started, then knock him out and then shoot out the lights on the wall for guaranteed darkness.

 

Wait until Ingrid catches up and she will then open up the double doors. Immediately shoot out the light above, turn right and then shoot out two more lights along the bridge. Sneak as far up the bridge as you can, but make sure you remain in the darkness, a guard will appear, knock him out by firing two airfoils at him. Two more guards will dash round, fire two airfoils at one of them, then fire a sticky shocker at the other. Once they have dropped, fire a smoke grenade in order to deal another guard who is seconds from running round the corner. You need to do this quickly; otherwise the guards will revive their comrades, and you will be back to square one. Head across the bridge and shoot out the lights so the bodies can not be found. Ingrid will open up the doors on the other side. You should have either an airfoil, sticky shocker or a smoke grenade left. Use one of them to deal with the guard who is visible to the left of the lifts. Once he is down, make your way round to where he was stood and shoot out the lights to hide his body. Head down the corridor and shoot out the cocktail light just underneath the camera. Wait near the camera for the guard who patrols nearby, soon as he draws closer, whistle to draw him in and then knock him out. Sneak through to where came from then knock out the guard who is stood with he's back turned facing the window. Hide he's body in the darkness and then climb onto the wall's ledge to the left of the room. Shimmy round till you find a vent, climb inside and travel through to land into the TV Studio.

 

SAVE YOUR GAME because this may take one or two attempts to perfect but the room is full of guards and if they spot you, then you're going to die extremely quickly. Stick to the room's perimeters and make your way round till you encounter some steps which will take you onto the stage. Sneak up these steps, go through the curtain and to your left you will see a pathway which shadowed. Take this pathway and then run onto the stage to grab Sadono. Now whilst holding him, exit the studio through the door in the right-hand corner - near where you entered the room - by using a scanner. Make your way up the corridor and use scanner again to reach the helipad for extraction. In completing this mission you will earn Technical Difficulties (13/36).

Start off by heading forwards and over the fencing. Creep along the left side and wait for a truck to pull up but when it does, jump inside. The truck will drive off, and you will consequently infiltrate the airport. Soon as the truck stops, turn on your thermals and you will see one body which is bright red and the other which a normal colour. Wait until the guard who is not bright red to walk away with his dog then sneak out of the truck, making your way towards the other guard who is in the control room. Once there jump up to climb on top of the room that he is in, now he may well here and therefore he will have a look outside. Either way, you are going to have to make a clear headshot kill, to do this successfully, make sure the guard and his dog are well away and then kill through the open hatch which is near where you are currently stood. Once he is dead, drop down and pick up his body, making your out of the control room. To left will be a door, go inside and drop his body then turn off the light with the nearby switch.

 

Now open up the door to the right of the switch, there will be a cleaner nearby, who will then investigate why the corridor is dark. Soon as she enters, knock her out and exit the corridor. To your right is another switch, turn this off and a guard will come out from the room directly behind you. Wait for him to arrive and then wait for him to turn the lights back on, grab him and knock him out for: Surprise! 10/10 (15/36) Exit the room via the door to the far right of the room. In here are toilets, but more importantly there will be a vent for you to climb inside. Travel through the vent until you seen an opening and drop out to the other side. Right in front of you will some airfoil near the boxes, pick it up and sneak off to the right. Wait till the two workers to finish their conversation, and then one of them will walk to where you are. Soon as he sets off again, catch up with him and knock him out. Knocking him out, sometimes it will interest the other worker, if it doesn't, then obviously knock him out as well. Make sure you kill the first guy who you knocked out in order to complete your objective. Now exit this room through the left side and keep to the left in the following room. Keep moving till you see a worker sat down on a chair. Above him is a light, shoot it out to darken the area, and then sneak behind the worker and grab him. Take him out of the way and then knock him out. Now quickly head to the corner, near where you enter the room, and there will be another worker investigating that area. Knock him out and then kill those two workers who you have just knocked out in order to complete your objective. Head back to the chair and near it are some steps. Sneak to the left of the steps and lookup on towards the gangway. There will be a worker who will stand over the railings, make a headshot with your pistol using the laser sight. The headshot may take a couple of reloads to get right but you are going to have to do it in one shot otherwise an alarm will be raised as a consequence. Head to the steps, shoot out the light at the top of the steps before you climb them and then shoot out the light above the worker you have just killed.

 

Now exit this room through the single door in the corner near where you killed the officer on the gangway. Head down to the conveyor belts, take the one to your left, wait for the luggage that is stacked high so you can hide behind it. Hiding behind the luggage will cover you from the guard who watches out of the window. Once you are safe, exit the conveyor belt and head right onto the other belt. You will then approach another window, stagnate slightly and fire a smoke grenade through the open window. Hopefully it will then deal with a worker – if you wait for him to stand by the window and you then aim your grenade at his body then this will be more reliable in terms of dealing with him. Shoot out the light in the room to hide his body then make your way down the belt. At the end, turn right and climb the stairs then exit through the door to the next part of the level.

 

Immediately run through the door and knockout the officer who should be stood right in front of you. Hide his body in the corner and shoot him in the head to complete your objectives. Head up the conveyor on the left side, now there will be a likelihood that a civilian will notice you and therefore he will investigate the area. If that is the case, then backtrack to the shadowy area and wait for him to come over, when he does knock him out. Carefully sneak up the left side, you will then reach a door use PIN CODE: 5325 to enter and head down the stairs. As approach the bottom, equip your camera jammer to bypass the camera at the bottom, this will also help with You can't see me 3/5. Head through the single and immediately turn right to turn the lights off. A worker will come and turn them on again, grab him and knock him out. Switch the lights off again and another worker will be drawn over, run towards him and knock him out too. Use your thermals to determine which one is infected, make a headshot and you will complete your objective. On the other side is a door, go through it and hug the wall to your right. Slide past the screen, once passed turn the lights out with the nearby switch and knockout the guy nearby. Exit the room through the door on the other side and sneak down the escalator. Shoot out the elevator sign light and the light above to completely darken the area, then quickly move to the railing on your left. Press :l3: to use your zoom with your thermals on to pick out your target. When done, a worker might walk to investigate why the lights are out, if he does knock him out before approaches the elevators. Now head towards the elevators make sure you have your camera jammer out and use it on the camera to the far right-hand corners, this will help you with You can't see me 4/5.

 

Enter the elevator and head up, only for the elevator to breakdown. Shoot up the hatch, and then climb out onto the top and SAVE YOUR GAME! Climb the yellow and black striped pole all the way up till you encounter another elevator, you can then climb off to your left and then run off to grab onto the elevator. Once on top of the lift, head left down a small hatch and to your left will be some goodies. Drop down the hatch and immediately shoot out the light above you, then proceed forwards to a ladder. Climb to the next level and now you must kill three people in order to complete your objectives. If you look to your left, just above you will be one of your targets, kill him with a headshot, using your pistol's laser sight. Be quick in making the headshot, because your laser will reveal your whereabouts, furthermore keep an eye on the timer, you will need to make these three kills before it gets down to 35secs, otherwise you may need to restart. After the 3 kills have been made you earn: Go FUBAR (16/36) and Neutral Outlook (17/36). Now run back down the ladder and head up the gangway opposite to where you shot out the light. Take the second left, and then the left and keep running till you reach a ladder. Climb the ladder and the following one to and then drop down to the lower level. Here run all the way to the end and Lambert will radio in which will then conclude this game earning you: Duty Calls (18/36), Veteran (19/36), Phantom Strike (20/36), Samaritan (21/36), Immune (22/36), Five-SeveN (23/36) and Ghost don't die (24/36).

 

Also throughout your playthrough you will have definitely earned: Execution (25/36) at some point.

 

Throughout your second playthrough, you are going to need one more Turret to turn off and to bypass one more camera with your jammer. Which will earn you Exponential Heat and You can't see me.

Thank you for this guide... It is quite a work of art. And everything is simplified for all audiences. Not like Metal Gear Solid 4 where buddy is rolling around in that barrel taking out everyone lol... Cant follow that. :p
