The Great American Savior
Written Guide Chapter 1: The Evacuation Intel #1: Konrad’s Confession Letter In video: 0:14 After rappelling down onto the road with all the wrecked cars, going through the bus and under the tanker, you will come to a clearing with the origin of the signal you are looking for. Once you enter the clearing, immediately turn around and you will see a board with a glowing letter taped to it. This is the 1st piece of intel and it will get you the Spotter trophy. Intel #2: Damaged Black Box In video: 0:37 Eventually you will come to a downed plane, with tons of refugees surrounding it. After dealing with the ones outside, you’ll have to enter the plane from some stairs located at the back of the plane. As you’re walking to the stairs, you’ll see the intel, a glowing red box (which is actually called a black box). Chapter 2: The Dune Intel #3: Radioman Tape- Welcome to Dubai In video: 1:00 After completing Chapter 1 and a cutscene, you’ll find yourself on a platform. Just walk straight ahead and you’ll come to a lookout spot with a blue umbrella. On a box near the blue umbrella is the intel, a bag that has a smiley face on it. Intel #4: Sandstorm Cover-up In video: 1:22 (much easier to see where it is in video) Once you get the first piece of intel in this chapter, you’ll see two guards. You will need to eliminate them, and after this point, the the refugees will usually realize you are there, and you’ll have to engage them in a massive firefight. You’ll go down some stairs, vault over some cover and take out a turret. After clearing out everyone on this floor, you’ll go down some stairs. Now, immediately after going down the stairs, go to the counter at the very end. Make sure to pay attention to the ground as you head towards it, because on your way there you will find the intel, a very small radio tape. Chapter 3: Underneath Intel #5: Looter Bullets In video: 1:57 You’re going to wake up in a very colorful room, and after getting your bearings you will start getting attacked by refugees coming from the roof. After eliminating all of them, they will drop C4, and you’ll need to run out of the room. Once you escape unharmed, keep moving and you’ll arrive in a hotel lobby kind of place. Drop down, and to the left of you near a counter, you will see the intel, glowing pieces of intel and jewelry. Chapter 4: Refugees Intel #6: Child’s Doll In video: 2:27 Exit the elevator at the start of the chapter, and follow the path until you can SEE a painting of a skeleton wrapped in an American flag. Once you’re able to see it, just turn right to see a closed door, and right in front of it will be the intel, a glowing child’s doll Intel #7: Castavin’s Diary In video: 2:48 [spoiler=danny2]After you witness McPherson killing Castavin and decide what to do with him, rappel down to a little office place. Your first sight will be a lit up portion of the wall, and on the table next to the light is where the intel is located, a diary with multiple pictures under it. Chapter 5: The Edge Intel #8: Dossier on Grey Fox In video: 3:13 At the start of the chapter you’ll go down a zipline to a building full of 33rd soldiers. After killing the ones on the stairs, move onto the ones on the first floor. Once the first floor is clear, go down the stairs. Kill the soldiers on the other side and keep going forward until you hit a small bridge. Immediately take a left into a small room. This is where the intel is located, a glowing folder with multiple pictures in it. Intel #9: Radioman Tape- Evacuation Cover-up In video: 3:47 After killing a large amount of 33rd soldiers in a room with the song “The First Vietnamese War” blaring over the speakers, you’ll take a zipline down to a roof. You’ll go over a bridge into this building that seems like a hotel. Go up the red stairs, take a right and go into a room with a bed. In that room is where the intel is located, a glowing radioman tape recording taped to a water bottle. Chapter 6: The Pit Intel #10: Interrogator Confession In video: 4:27 After you hold the 33rd off for a few minutes, Adams will open the door that was blocked. You’ll then drop down into a pile of bodies. Keep wading through the death until you see a small table next to a group of dead soldiers in chairs. On the table will be the intel, a little glowing notebook. Chapter 7: The Battle Intel #11: Radioman Tape- After the Storm In video: 4:57 After reaching the road with all the bodies hanging from lamp posts and killing everyone there, you’ll go through a bus to find a turret. Take it out, and go all the way to the right until you see a stop sign. On the stop sign will be the intel, a glowing tape recorder. Intel #12: Radioman Tape- Soldier Interview In video: 5:37 After wading through the bodies of refugees, you’ll have your first encounter with white phosphorus, and your first heavy. After killing them, keep walking until you get to a doorway. Before entering the doorway, take a left, and a next to a sniper rifle will be the intel, a tape recording with a picture of a group of soldiers. After getting this intel, you’ll get the Recon trophy. Chapter 9: The Road Intel #13: Konrad Flag In video: 6:08 [spoiler=danny1]After finding Konrad’s command team dead, you will be overlooking a long road. Do not rappel down, just turn around and walk over to the wall. On that wall will be the intel, a glowing American flag with the stars burnt off. Chapter 10: Riggs Intel #14: Radioman Tape- No Relief Aid In video: 6:42 Walk towards the objective, and on the way you will enter a tent that has some stuff you can vault over. Don’t vault over, and instead go to the right where some intel is located on a table. It will look like a couple of glowing passports. Intel #15: Konrad’s Psych Profile In video: 7:06 Right after Riggs saves you while you’re blinded, you’ll see a small table to the right. You’ll see the intel, which is a glowing dossier with Konrad’s picture in it. Chapter 12: Rooftops Intel #16: Radioman Tape- Konrad Interview In video: 7:24 After you eliminate the snipers off the tower and taking the long zipline, you’ll hallucinate for a few seconds. After you deal with it, walk to the right of the stairs, and look on the ground for the Intel, a glowing tape recorder on top of a boombox. Intel #17: Radioman’s Press Badge In video: 7:55 After ziplining down to the building with the big radio tower on it, you’ll enter the Radioman’s home (which is the big radio tower). You’ll know when you’re there because it’ll be purple inside and it’ll have lots of paintings of animals you can find in the ocean. Go up the stairwell until you’re in a big purple room. Keep moving, and you’ll see some more stairs. Ignore them, and instead go in the direction of the ammo box on the ground. Behind the couch, there will be a small bathroom. Enter the bathroom, and look to the right, and hanging on the wall in front of some press body armor will be the intel, a glowing press badge. You’ll then get a radio transmission from Lugo, and as he’s speaking, you’ll likely exit the plane. Take a right at the exit, and you’ll see some lovely rocks and the intel on the ground, some glowing spray paint, a drawing and a tape recording inside a small green basket. Intel #19: Konrad Effigy In video: 9:02 [spoiler=danny]After finding Lugo and dealing with the refugees you’ll have to go through the refugee camp, towards the objective. Just keep walking until you see the objective clearly, and some barriers where people would line up. To the left there will be some candles, and a small glowing statue. This is the intel. After eliminating them, go approach the wall to the left, and on it should be a glowing piece of paper taped to the wall, the last intel in this chapter. Chapter 15: Welcome Intel #22: Konrad Letter- Poem for Elizabeth In video: 10:29 Once you get off the elevator, you will be treated to the sight of a nice apartment and Konrad’s voice. Keep walking untill you start approaching a staircase, but instead go to the right and go up another set of stairs. Then go to the desk that is a few feet away from the desk, and the intel will be on there, a glowing drawing of a woman and a poem. Intel #23: Konrad Letter- a Message to Jeremy In video: 11:22 Right after getting the last intel, go down the stairs, walk right past the other set of stairs to the couch with the white pillows and black cushions.
