Introduction:

Welcome to Space Ace - a vintage game created by renowned animator Don Bluth. Much like Dragon's Lair, this classic game has been remastered in High Definition for the PSN. The roots of the franchise takes you back to the original laser disc rendition that sparked a dedicated following during the 1980's, and now fans and newcomers alike can experience this visually stunning game.

Space Ace is a fast-paced adventure about a young lad named Dex (Dexter) whose girlfriend Kimberly has been kidnapped by the evil Commander Borf. The nemesis of this sci-fi tale has the "Infanto Ray" which turns creatures and humans alike into babies. Your job is to save Kimberly and Planet Earth from the nefarious plans of Borf before it's too late!

If you're familiar with Dragon's Lair then you'll know what to expect with Space Ace in terms of the controls and movements. It's pretty much more of the same, but the story itself is an awesome distraction full of vibrant colors and non-stop action. Players new to Space Ace (or Dragon's Lair for that matter) will find that the control scheme is a little different than what you're used to.

The controls are very simplistic in nature and executed via :left:, :right:,, (Dexter's directional movements) and :cross: presses (Dexter's Gun attack). However, you don't actually control the main hero of this tale but rather you press the correct buttons at the precise moments according to what action(s) are needed in any given scene, and in return Dexter performs the pre-rendered/animated action in the scene. And to help the player know whether or not he/she got the timing correct, Space Ace has a well known famous "beep" sound which lets you know the move was successful. Actions input at the wrong time or simply incorrect for the requirements of the scene give off a distinct low-pitched 'thump' sound. You'll know the difference between the two sounds very early on.

Space Ace is very linear in that the choices you're given (directions and actions needed) never take Dex too far off the beaten path. This isn't a deal-breaker by any stretch of the means, and once you experience the game you'll understand why the game is perfect in the way it was created.

And finally, Dexter goes through phases of the story as a young boy and as an adult. The cause of this is believed to be a previous encounter with Commander Borf and being exposed to the Infanto Ray. Although this did not change Dexter into an infant, it seems to have altered his physical chemistry. As such, by unlocking the various trophies, you'll see the gameplay dynamics change as you play Dexter in both 'forms'. Even the same scenes can have different animations depending on whether or not you choose to "Energize".

Walkthrough:

Step 1 - Watch the Tutorial

This step is more or less for players new to Space Ace. Long-time veterans and fans will probably be okay with skipping this step, unless of course you're in need of a refresher. The tutorial is short but it outlines the basics of what you do throughout the game.

Step 2 - "Get the Popcorn" (Watch the Game)

Let's go ahead and get the easiest trophy out of the way. On the main menu simply select "Watch Game", and upon the conclusion of the video you'll receive "Get the Popcorn". (Credit to JOJO for the Hidden Trophy information.)

Step 3 - Collecting the Trophies - Save Often!

(See the Trophy Guide for more details)

"Regain Your Manhood" is very easy to unlock and will most likely be the very next trophy you acquire after "Get the Popcorn". The game has 3 different difficulties and there are trophies for beating the game on each of them. However, the trophies are not retroactive, but that's probably due to the very specific requirements for most of them. The key, though, to keeping your cool when things get frustrating is saving often. I highly recommend (especially if you're new to Space Ace) that you save at the very least every other scene. That way if you die for whatever reason you won't have to start completely over. This is a real time-saver in the grand scheme of things, particularly when you start working on the Ace difficulty-related trophies, so keep that in mind.

The following Trophy Guide will go into more details on individual trophy requirements however, I recommend you play the game according to how the remaining trophies are listed below. I understand more veterans of the game won't have as many issues but it's best to make sure you re-familiarize with all the movements.

  • Just Dex (B) - Complete the game on Cadet difficulty with Infinite Lives. This will be pretty easy to do once you understand the gameplay mechanics. Infinite Lives means not having to restart the game from the beginning, but it might not be a bad idea to save often anyway just to say yourself time.
  • Infantalized (B) - Complete the game on Cadet difficulty. Just remember NOT to use Energize during any part of the gameplay. Save often in case you die or make mistakes.
  • Oh Captain! My Captain! (S) - Complete the game on Captain difficulty. This is a little more challenging than Cadet but easier than Ace mode.
  • Call Me Ace (S) - Complete the game on Ace difficulty. This will be harder than both Cadet and Captain difficulties. You'll have to memorize more animation sequences and have good focus on the fast-paced actions needed to get through the next few trophies.
  • Go Go Ace (G) - Complete the game on Ace difficulty. This Ace run will have you attempting the entire walkthrough with only 5 lives. This will probably be a little frustrating at first however if you save and save often, you'll make it through without too many issues. I recommend that you save after each full scene to make things much simpler.
  • Borf Hunter (G) - Complete the game on Ace difficulty. This Ace run will require you to press "Energize" each time you're prompted to do so. Do not miss any or the trophy wont unlock at the end of the game. Save and save often, preferably after each full scene. Reload a save if you make a mistake or die.

Please refer to the Step-By-Step walkthrough for each game mode if you're having trouble with the movements.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/937/01.jpg Regain Your Manhood (B)

Energize in the First scene.

If you followed the Road Map and took care of the "Get the Popcorn" trophy, then this one will undoubtedly come next. Simply choose any game on any difficulty and press the :cross: when prompted shortly after the first few moves at the beginning of the game (which is :right: :right: :left: :left: then :cross: for the Energizer prompt). The trophy will unlock upon completing the first starting area.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/937/02.jpg Just Dex (B)

Complete the game in Cadet mode, with Infinite Lives.

Save often! At the main menu, scroll down to "Settings". Click on "Lives" and then select "Infinite". Back up to the main menu and select "Play Game". After doing so select "Cadet" and just play through the game. The overall experience on this mode is very short however I'll be including a step-by-step directional movement walkthrough in this guide for players who either might be new to Space Ace or just having problems in general.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/937/01.jpg Get the Popcorn (B) (H)

Watch the entire game.

The easiest trophy to obtain in Space Ace. While on the main menu simply select "Watch Game" and upon the conclusion of the video the trophy will unlock. (Credit to JOJO for the Hidden Trophy information.)

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/937/04.jpg Oh Captain! My Captain! (S)

Complete the game in Captain mode, in 5 Lives mode.

Save often! At the main menu, scroll down to "Settings". Click on "Lives" and then select "Five". Back up to the main menu and select "Play Game". After doing so select "Captain" and just play through the game. The overall experience on this mode is a little more difficult than "Cadet" and there are new scenes now added to this mode. While not as difficult as "Ace" mode, "Captain" may prove challenging, at least until you memorize the movements of the game.

However, I'll be including a step-by-step directional movement walkthrough in this guide for players who either might be new to Space Ace or just having problems in general.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/937/04.jpg Call Me Ace (S)

Complete the game in Ace mode, in 5 Lives mode.

Save often! At the main menu, scroll down to "Settings". Click on "Lives" and then select "Five". Back up to the main menu and select "Play Game". After doing so select "Ace" and just play through the game. The overall experience on this mode is definitely more challenging than the previous difficulties, but that's how the developers intended it to be. "Ace" mode contains the full animation experience and as a result, players will experience not only a harder playthrough but more of the worlds in which Space Ace takes place. It goes without saying that the full presentation of the game is offered in this mode.

I will, however, be including a step-by-step directional movement walkthrough in this guide for players who either might be new to Space Ace or just having problems in general.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/937/04.jpg Infantilized (S)

Complete the game without Energizing in all but the final level.

This trophy can be obtained on any difficulty however playing on Cadet will be the easier route to go in the long run.

Save often! In order to acquire this trophy, you must NOT Energize at all during any given scene which offers the option (which is most of the animated storyboard). Whenever Dex starts flashing with red rings or you see the word "Energize" on the screen, do NOT press it or you'll forfeit the trophy and have to restart either your save or your entire game.

There is a scene during the final battle that calls for you to Energize. This is normal so don't try to avoid it at that point. You can go through the first few frames of animation as Young Dex after the first prompt, but you'll have to Energize really quick anyway for the actual fight (or you'll die)

(Thanks to Dark_Adonis for some much needed insight on a few particulars with this trophy)

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/937/07.jpg Go Go Ace! (G)

Complete the game Energizing in all scenes - (Ace mode, with 5 Lives).

Save often! The requirements of this trophy are the opposite to that of the Infantilized trophy. You MUST Energize in all scenes in the game, and on Ace mode. This means you're looking at the full animated storyboarded sequences and you must not miss any scene that gives Dex the option to Energize. If you miss it when you're supposed to then you'll have to revert back to an older save or start the game over from scratch. So in light of that information, it's best to save your game often.

At the main menu, scroll down to "Settings". Click on "Lives" and then select "Five". Back up to the main menu and select "Play Game". After doing so select "Ace" and just play through the game. If you have trouble making it through Ace mode then please refer to the upcoming step-by-step movement walkthrough which I'll be posting soon.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/937/07.jpg Borf Hunter (G)

Complete the game in Ace mode, with no Move Guide, in 3 Lives mode.

Save often! By now you may or may not be at least familiar with Ace mode. You may even have the majority of the movements memorized at this point. However this will more than likely be the last trophy you unlock, and subsequently the hardest one to boot.

The requirements are the same, though - you must beat the game on Ace mode (again) only this time at the main menu and after selecting "Settings", you must select "Lives" and then choose "Three". Then scroll down to "Move Guide" and select "Off". This essentially turns off your directional button 'guide' on your screen (that shows you which direction to press). As a result of these new conditions, you may have a harder time getting through "Ace" mode, which is why I highly recommend that you save and save often.

This trophy should unlock upon completing the final battle at the end of the game. Take your time, focus and you'll do just fine.

Overview:

This walkthrough will be much more extensive than my Dirk's Castle Walkthrough in Dragon's Lair. The reason being is that there are twice as many gameplay scenarios this time around due to Dexter having 2 'form's in many animation sequences. As a result of this, the dynamics can change as well as the actions required to get through the related scenes.

Having said all that, I'll be writing a movement guide for each difficulty level (Cadet, Captain and Ace). For Cadet, I'll be covering the walkthrough with the Infantilized trophy in mind. This is so you can experience the entire game as a young Dexter (except for the final boss battle). The Captain walkthrough will be written with the Oh Captain! My Captain! trophy in mind. And finally, the Ace movement guide will be written with the Go Go Ace! trophy in mind so that you can experience the game having Energized each and every time (playing as adult Dexter).

Finally, keep in mind that many animated scenes in this game can actually be reversed at random times. This is particularly the case when playing Captain and especially Ace mode. The actions required are the same just reversed so don't let it throw you off.

Walkthrough:

Cadet Mode

On the Main Menu, scroll down to "Settings", click on "Lives" and select "Infinite". Back up to the Main Menu again and select "Play" and then "Cadet".

Cliffside Attack (Beginning of the game):

After Kimberly loses her footing and falls into the Borf's tractor beam you'll be attacked by the boss himself. Press :right: then :right: again. Then press :left: and then :left: again. In the very next scene do not Energize when prompted to do so. Next during the 3 air bot scene you'll want to press :left: intermittently as each 'arm' goes up. Once you reach the final arm you'll have to press :left: twice to get to the Starpac.

Space Maze:

In this next scene, Dexter must navigate through a maze (of sorts) in space while at the same time avoiding an asteroid belt of.. marbles? This sequence can actually be played two different ways, and depending on which way you choose, one scene will be longer than the other.

Press  and then :left:. You'll have to quickly decide whether to press  or . If you press  you'll go through additional scenes, one of which includes destroying marbles. If you choose  then you'll advance to the Space Station much more quickly while avoiding the extra scenes altogether.

If you pressed  - Press :cross: to fire your lasers at the marble. Then press :left: then :cross: again. Then  and finally fire your lasers one more time by pressing :cross:.

If you pressed  - Press :left: before you get to the bottom. Then  and there you go, you're already at the Space Station.

Space Station:

Press  then :right: then  . Don't press Energize but instead press :right: then  and  again. Then :right: then  again. Finally at the TV monitor with Kimberly pleading for help you can press either :left: or :right: to enter the small tunnel.

Red Laser Bot:

Press :right: to avoid being hit by the laser. Immediately press :right: to jump onto the checkered platform to your right. This next sequence plays out very quickly. Input the following commands: :right:  :right: and finally either :left: or :right:.

Industrial Complex:

In this next sequence you're constantly being chased by green 'dogs' as well as having to constantly avoid burning chemical waste and lasers. At the first scene, press  then :right: then :left:. Do not Energize but instead press  then :left: then :right: then  and  again to leave the area.

Wasteland:

The moment you land in this area you're attacked by large nasty creatures. Be ready to input the following commands fairly quickly. Memorizing them would actually be better (this is actually good advice for the whole game but we will get to that later).

Press :cross: to shoot the purple creature then  to avoid... whatever that yellow beast is. Do not Energize but instead press  then right after the tall 'cat' scene press  then :right:. Then :right: :left: :right: :cross: and then  to leave the area.

Evil Twin:

This scene starts off with you bungie jumping with spiked walls about to crush you. Immediately press :left: to pull yourself up. Once the imposter reveals himself press :cross: then :left:. Once inside the hole press . Do not press Energize. Once you fall to the lower level press :left: as the scene begins, then :left: again to end the scene.

Motorcycle Scene:

]Once you fall down through the transparent pipes and onto the 'motorcycle' (backwards no less) press :right: to run from the bike gang. Then on the other side press :left: to do the same then :cross:. Next, as you drive up the vertical checkerboard ramp press  instead of Energizing. Do not Energize. Once you reach the bottom and Kimberly scolds you for being late press :cross: to end the scene.

Underwater Peril:

Commander Borf releases some big fishes in this next sequence and as such things play out very quickly. Be ready to input the following commands as the scene unfolds: :right: to grab the submersibles for you and Kimberly. Then press :cross: to fire at the big red fish. Next press :left: so get some oxygen for you both. Then press  and :left: to get away from the black eel. Then  again when prompted. :cross: to fire at his mouth. Once inside his mouth press :cross: again to shoot the squid-like creatures. Then :left: and :left: again to exit from his mouth and the level.

Giant Sponge:

Once you and Kimberly land on the giant sponge, wait until the portal directly in front of you turns yellow then immediately press  to jump though. I actually don't think it matters which portal you go through as long as you initiate the action as it turns yellow and not any other color. Someone can confirm otherwise if they want.

Final Battle:

The end scenes are a lot of fun but you'll have to pay attention to what you're supposed to do or you'll make mistakes. Be sure and save at the beginning of the level if possible. But after exiting the sponge/portal room you'll immediately be attacked by Commander Borf's goons. Press :cross: :cross: to fire at them. They'll still kidnap Kimberly but don't worry about that. Next press :right: to avoid being hit by the Infanto Ray. Then press :left: to avoid the being hit again. Then press :cross: to Energize into older Dexter.

Next press :cross: then :right:, then :cross: :cross:. Then  and . Then :cross: then :right: and . Then press  to jump on Borf's back to pound on his head. Once his goons try to get you press :left: to grab the rope. After grabbing Kimberly press :right: before the platform submerges into the lava. The next few sequences happen quickly. Press :left: then :cross: right away. Then :left: to avoid the Ray. Then :right: then :right: again. :right: once more and finally :left: to deflect the Ray back at Borf.

Nicely done! Congrats on completing the game on Cadet and receiving the Infantilized trophy.

Captain Mode

On the Main Menu, scroll down to "Settings", click on "Lives" and select "Five". Back up to the Main Menu again and select "Play" and then "Captain". On this run we'll be working on the Oh Captain! My Captain! trophy, so it really won't matter if we choose to Energize or not. However since I'm covering the full Energizing gameplay on Ace mode, we won't go into that this time. This run will be a non-Energizing Dexter only.

Cliffside Attack (Beginning of the game):

After Kimberly loses her footing and falls into the Borf's tractor beam, you will be attacked by the boss himself. Press :right: twice, then :left: twice. In the very next scene do not Energize when prompted to do so. Next during the 3 air bot scene you'll want to press :left: intermittently as each 'arm' goes up. Once you reach the final arm you'll have to press :left: twice to get to the Starpac.

Ace Mode:

On the Main Menu, scroll down to "Settings", click on "Lives" and select "Five". Back up to the Main Menu again and select "Play" and then "Ace". On this run we'll be working on the Go Go Ace! trophy, so you'll have to remember that this time we're Energizing every time the game prompts you to.

This is the full experience coming up. All developer intended scenes and animations will be included in this playthrough and you'll get to see the alternate gameplay scenes with 'adult' Dexter. It should also be noted that many scenes are extended by reversing the directions so be ready for this.

Save often! This is the key here. Try to save at the beginning of each new level so you minimize any frustrations. At any rate though, let's get to it!

Cliffside Attack (Beginning of the game):

After Kimberly loses her footing and falls into the Borf's tractor beam you'll be attacked by the boss himself. Press

:right: then :right: again. Then press :left: and then :left: again. In the very next scene press :cross: to Energize. Next press :cross: to shoot the Bots arm and then :right: to jump to the ledge. Then press :left: :right: :cross:. Press :left: to jump from the crumbling cliff section. During the 3 air bot scene you'll want to press :left: intermittently as each 'arm' goes up. Once you reach the final arm you'll have to press :left: twice to get to the Starpac.

Space Maze:

By now you're well familiar with the Space Maze. So to speed things up and get you to the Space Station quickly simply follow the 'easier' path to get there. This sequence is reversed initially than what you played on Cadet and Captain modes.

Press

 and then :right:. At the 'T' in the road press . Then press :right: and . Next, press  and :left: then  and :left: then :up to arrive at the Space Station.

Space Station:

Press  then :left: then  and . Press :cross: to Energize. Then press :left: then :cross: and then  then  and then :cross:. Dexter will change back to kid form so press :left:. Then at the TV monitor where Kimberly pleads for your help press either :left: or :right: to enter either tunnel.

Ace Mode - Continued

Red Laser Bot:

This scene on Captain (and Ace) actually starts off with you pressing :right: to avoid the red spotlight. Then when it moves press . Next, press :left: to avoid being hit by the laser. Immediately press :left: to jump onto the checkered platform to your right. This next sequence plays out very quickly. Input the following commands: :left:  :left: and finally either :left: or :right:.

Industrial Complex:

In this next sequence you're constantly being chased by green 'dogs' as well as having to constantly avoid burning chemical waste and lasers. At the first scene, press  then :left: then :right:. Press the :cross: button to Energize. Press :right: to jump out of the crossfire between the 2 Mechs. Then press :left: then :cross: then :left: and :cross: to destroy the Mech. Next, press :left: then press  as Dexter is changing back to his kid form to leave the area.

Dilapidated Industrial Platforms:

This scene is new to Ace Mode so a little trial and error might be necessary. Start off by immediately saving your game (which you should be doing anyway on each level). Press :cross: to free yourself from the bubble. Then immediately press :right: to avoid the smashing pillar. Press  to hop over the rapidly ascending/descending barrel-thingie. Then press :cross: to Energize. Immediately press :cross: then :right: then :cross: and :left: then :cross: then

You'll leave the level but it now repeats itself. Press :cross: to fire in order to free yourself from the bubble. Next, press :left: then  then :cross: to Energize. Press :cross: to fire, then :left: then :cross: and :right: and :cross: then  to leave the level.

Starpac Space Battle:

You may or may not be totally comfortable with the actions required for the Starpac Space Battle so be prepared for a little trial and error. Additionally, this scene is fairly lengthy due to it repeating itself. Just take your time and you'll be fine.

The moment you ascend from the Space Station press :right: to avoid the flames. You'll then be viewing the game from an alien's cockpit. Press  :left: and :left: to avoid his targeting system. Then press :cross: and :cross: then . Then press  to enter the mechanical tunnels. Then press  then :cross: then  again to avoid the wall. Then :cross: and  then finally :cross: to move onto the extended sequence.

Press

:cross: then :cross: then  and then . Next, press  then :cross: and  then :cross: and  and then finally :cross:. *whew!*

Electric Tunnel:

This is another new scene in Ace Mode. After finishing the Starpac Space Battle you'll hop right out of your ship and into a circular hovercraft (of sorts). Follow the sequence to the letter to get through it.

Press

 then :right: and then :left:. Press :cross: to Energize. Press :cross: to shoot the Bot. Then press :left: :right: :cross: :cross: and :cross: again. Then press  :left: :right: and :cross: to Energize again. Next, press :cross: to shoot the Bot again. Then :right: and :left: and then :cross: :cross: and :cross: to end the level.

Wasteland:

Press

:cross: to shoot the purple creature then  to avoid... whatever that yellow beast is. Press :cross: to Energize. Then press :cross: to shoot the beast in the face. Then :cross: again. Press :right: to end the scene.

Evil Twin:

This scene starts off with you bungie jumping with spiked walls about to crush you. Immediately press

:right: to pull yourself up. Once the imposter reveals himself press :cross: then :right:. Once inside the hole press :cross: to Energize. Then press :left: then :cross: and then :right: :cross:  :left: :left:  :right: and finally  to leave the area.

Motorcycle Scene:

Once you fall down through the transparent pipes and onto the 'motorcycle' (backwards no less) press

:left: to run from the bike gang. Then on the other side press :right: to do the same then :cross:. Next, as you drive up the vertical checkerboard ramp press :cross: to Energize. After that press :cross: and then :cross: again to shoot at the bikers. Next, press :right: to avoid the oversized pig. Then press  :right: :cross: :cross: :cross:. In the next scene press :right: :cross: :left: :right: and finally :right: again.

Borf's Command Center/Roller Derby Maze:

This is another new sequence in which Dexter and Kimberly go roller skating on a narrow maze. You have to quickly input the necessary actions to avoid dying (or laughing to death). Just follow the guide to get through it.

At the start of the level press :right: :left: :left:. Then Press :cross: to Energize and immediately press  :left: :right: :left:  :right:  and finally :left: to finish the level.

Underwater Peril:

Commander Borf releases some big fishies in this next sequence and as such things play out very quickly. Be ready to input the following commands as the scene unfolds: :left: to grab the submersibles for you and Kimberly. Then press :cross: to fire at the big red fish. Next press :right: so get some oxygen for you both. Then press  and :right: to get away from the black eel. Then  again when prompted. :cross: to fire at his mouth. Once inside his mouth press :cross: again to shoot the squid-like creatures. Then :right: and :right: again to exit from his mouth and the level.

Giant Sponge:

Once you and Kimerbly land on the giant sponge, wait until the portal directly in front of you turns yellow then immediately press  to jump though.

Congrats on completing the game on Ace and receiving the Go Go Ace! trophy.

There's a different route during the "Evil Twin" sequence press down when you enter the hole Dex should go further down. I got the trophy so if you don't know what to press in another sequence just ask. The final scene can also be dragged out for three parts by not pressing energize but that isn't necessary for the trophy.

6+ playthroughs! How long is one playthrough? It's been a while since I played the arcade version at my local convenience store.

Yoshi, you have "cadel" instead of "cadet" for Complete the game in Cadet mode.

If it's like Dragon's Lair, probably around 30-60 mins.

I'll be picking this up later. Same lame trophy tiles as Dragon's Lair, I see.

30-60 minutes!? Dragon's Lair was easily only 15-20 minutes per playthrough. With Yoshi_Girl's guide I got all the trophies in 2.5 hours.

(BTW, the Dragon's lair guide was FANTASTIC, hopefully we get the same thing for Space Ace. Yoshi_Girl ROCKS! :D)

I was padding it a little for those who aren't familiar with the game. With a move guide, yes it would be very quick once you get to the last few playthroughs. :)

Fantastic! I guess I pressed all the directional buttons except down! Just got the trophy and I updated the Guide and gave you credit for the help.

Thanks DA.

Thank you for the guide. hopefully the UK wont have to wait 2 months until it gets released over here for me to use it.

Yes, hopefully you guys wont have to wait as long. :)

I'll have to adjust the time to play in the Road Map. Once you actually know what to do you can get 100% in half the time, if not more than that. And thanks for the correction, I've fixed the typo.

I was hoping for unique images too but... :(

Yeah, I'm probably going to have the Approximate time to 100% at around 5+ hours. This should be the happy medium for experienced and new players alike. And thanks for the Guide props. I'll be doing a movement walkthrough for Dex just like I did with Dirk. It just takes a while to record everything, and it looks like the Space Ace version of the movement guide will be a little more complicated due to the scene changes due to difficulty-related and Dexter's young/older Energize scene changes.

No problem happy to help. Another thing about Infantilized I forgot to mention was if you accidentally hit energize just let Dex die and you should still get the trophy. I hit energize during the scene were they're skating. I was playing without saving and didn't want to start over so I just died before the scene ended to see if it would unlock anyway and it did.

I was just going through the game for the first time, playing Cadet Mode with Infinite Lives to get Infantilized and Just Dex at the same time. However, upon completion, the game only gave me Infantilized. I tried loading to my last save and re-beating the game, but I still don't have Just Dex.

Is this a glitch? Is anybody else having trouble getting Just Dex?

None of the trophies appear to be glitched. Unfortunately, I just think they don't unlock retroactively. I've updated my guide to include this information. I apologize for the inconvenience.
