I wont vote yet but I am very close but i would give this a 3-5 Beating it with no deaths and under 40 minutes could be a pain. This pretty challenging but can be done

Easily a 2 for sure. It lets you save as much as you need to. I was uncertain I beat the game under 40 minutes but I did after all. I got all of the trophies on my first run using a lot of save and reload.

The sad part is I never actually beat this game before in my life despite playing it many times (and acing Sonic 2,3, Sonic & Knux). If not for the save feature it could have been a 7 or an 8.

Even though you can abuse the saves in the game, it is still difficult, and frustrating, to get the no deaths and speed run trophies. Especially the speed run. I think almost anyone can 100% this game, but there is still some challenge involved. Its not mindless like Linger in Shadows or My Aquarium.

4/10 from me.

Without the save state I think it would be virtually impossible to get the no deaths and speed run trophies. Only the greatest of Sonic players would be able to accomplish that, and only with countless hours of trying.

Gave this a 3.

Save states make it much easier than it would have been without them. Gotta love cheap deaths lol.

The fact that you have to go through it twice also ups it to this for me. Overall though it's not too bad.

Can't wait for the second one

I'm terrible at this game, compared to all the other sonic games lol

gave it a 4, would be a 5 or a 6 without the ability to save

I still had to exit and reload CONSTANTLY due to screwups

I beat this game in under 40 minutes and got all the chaos emeralds when I was younger, but this was back when I didn't have all that many games, and there weren't trophies

I give it a 4. The save file eliminates some of the difficulty, but it still gets annoying having to save and reload. The lack of that ability from Sonic 2 (forget what it's called, but you hold down and press a button to rev up) made it a bit more frustrating for me since I started off with Sonic 2 back in the day.

I give this game a 2. The save option takes away most any challenge. I enjoyed this game when it originally came out for the Sega Genesis. The controls feel much more sluggish on the PS3 than I remember. Good nostalgia, though.

I did notice some lag, had to prefire my jumps quite often :S
